  • In this paper, an optical sensor based on an AZO semiconductor material is fabricated on an OHP film with high transmittance, and the characteristics of the optical element and the properties of the semiconductor material are described. In order to realize a flexible optical device, which is a major issue in the field of near-electronic devices, a transparent and bendable OHP film was used as a substrate. In addition, ITO, which is used for mass production as a transparent electrode and a semiconductor material, is expensive due to the scarcity of indium. Therefore, it is necessary to find a material that can replace it. The optical and electrical properties of the Au/Al/AZO/OHP structure are implemented to evaluate whether AZO is possible. It was found that devices and materials had no characteristic change by bending, and these results provide a possibility for application to a next-generation device. However, it is necessary to remove fine scratches on the surface of the OHP film, as well as optimized devices based on materials and structures that can improve the photocurrent.

  • High molecular weight syndiotactic poly(vinyl alcohol)(HMW s-PVA) with number-average degree of polymerization of 10000 and syndiotactic diad content of 61.5%/iodine complex film was prepared. Its adsorption and desorption behaviors of iodine in hot water were investigated. In comparison with atactic PVA film or low molecular weight s-PVA film, the degree of solubility of s-PVA film and the iodine desorption of HMW s-PVA/iodine film in hot water were limited to an extremely lower level. As the soaking time increased, the iodine desorption in hot water was increased. This reason might be explained by the fact that as the soaking time increased, so the iodine adsorption increased not by the stable molecular complex between PVA and iodine but by the simple physical adsorption of iodine.

  • In order to investigate the mechanism of pyroelectricity on polyvinylidene fluoride film, the observations were carried out on the characteristics of infrared spectra, thermally stimulated current and pyroelectric current. As the results obtained from the study, it was concluded that the origin for thermally stimulated current exhibited above room temperature can be attributed to hole injected from anode during poling process. Futhermore it is clarified also that the origin of pyroelectricity observed on the specimen concerned is to spontaneous polarization of CF dipole attached to molecular chain segment, however, the fraction of spontaneous polarization is largely influenced by the amount of hole injected from anode.

  • In this paper, it is investigated how the morphology and electrical properties in Polyphenylene Sulfide(PPS) changed by uniaxial elongation. XRD(X-ray diffraction) pattern shows that interplanar distance and crystallinities are decreased by increasing elongation ratio. electrical conduction mechanism of PPS is explained as Schottky emission mechanism. the electrical current is decreased by increasing elongation ratio. The conductivity is changed considerably above the glass transition temperature around 82(>$^{\circ}C$). The band gap of PPS is evaluated as 3.7~4(eV)

An Analysis of a Porous Film Containing $Chamaecyparis$ $obtusa$ Extract (편백나무 추출물을 함유한 다공성 필름 분석)

  • This present study was performed to analyze the efficiency and volatility of a porous film containing $Chamaecyparis$ $obtusa$ extract as a method to effectively package food compounds. Phytoncide was contacted the state of gas and showed effective antimicrobial properties. Limonene can be distilled without decomposition as a relatively stable terpene and was one of the extract components. $Chamaecyparis$ $obtusa$ essential oil. The optimal solvent composition was a ratio 5:20:0.3 of T-500:ethanol:hardener to effectively manufacture film containing phytoncide essential oil and the minimum antibacterial concentration was 2%. The films were made under different conditions(A-50LF1, A-25SF2, B-50SF1, C-50LF1, C-25SF2 and D-50SF1) containing phytoncide and the amounts of limonene inside the 1-L reaction chamber depending on storage were measured by gas chromatography-mass selective detention. The results showed that the 25SF2(width, 25 mm; length, 20 cm) revealed more amount of limonene compared with 50LF1(width 50 mm, length 20 cm). We confirmed that the gas emission amount showed a better layer on the film side than on the internal film. An effect of film thickness on phytoncide emissions was observed in that the amounts was less than the expectation for a thicker film at the beginning time, but the emitting amounts increased with increasing storage periods. In the storage testing of various films at $35^{\circ}C$ and 70% humidity for 14 days, 25SF2 showed longer preservation compared with that of 50LF in the case of bread. $C.$ $obtusa$ essential oil is a useful fresh ingredients, hence, analysis of limonene emission kinetics from various film was helpful to develop films with an optimal antimicrobial effect, and will allow application of such films in food packaging systems.

Comparison of an Automated Most-Probable-Number Technique TEMPO®TVC with Traditional Plating Methods PetrifilmTM for Estimating Populations of Total Aerobic Bacteria with Livestock Products (축산물가공품에서 건조필름법과 TEMPO®TVC 검사법의 총세균수 비교분석)

  • We compared between an automated most-probable-number technique $TEMPO^{(R)}$TVC and traditional plating methods $Petrifilm^{TM}$ for estimating populations of total aerobic bacteria in various livestock products. 257 samples randomly selected in local retail stores and 87 samples inoculated with $E.$ $coli$ ATCC 25922, $Staphylococcus$ $aureus$ ATCC 12868 were tested in this study. The degree of agreement was estimated according to the CCFRA (Campden and Chorleywood Food Research Association Group) Guideline 29 and the agreement indicates the difference of two kinds methods is lower than 1 log base 10($log_{10}$). The samples of hams, jerky products, ground meat products, milks, ice creams, infant formulas, and egg heat formed products were showed above 95% in the agreement of methods. In contrast, proportion of agreement on meat extract products, cheeses and sausages were 93.1%, 92.1%, 89.1%, respectively. One press ham and five sausages containing spice and seasoning, two pork cutlets containing spice and bread crumbs, two meat extract product and two natural cheeses and one processing cheese with a high fat content, and one ice cream containing chocolate of all samples showed the discrepancy. Our result suggest that $TEMPO^{(R)}$TVC system is efficient to analyses total aerobic bacteria to compare manual method in time-consuming and laborious process except livestock products having limit of detection.

  • We have obtained optical constants for cholesteric liquid crystal (CLC) films by fitting theoretical spectra of transmittance and reflectance with measured ones. Berreman's 4${\times}$4 matrix approach was used for the calculation of theoretical spectra. The fitting method was applied to three samples with different reflection bands and fitted results of refractive indices for CLC samples were compared with measured ones for a parallel-aligned LC sample. It was found that the two results were in fairly good agreement within the error of the fitted results for the three CLC samples.

  • 본 논문에서는 먼저 조개미(趙開美)${\ulcorner}$중경전서(仲景全書)${\lrcorner}$중의 ${\ulcorner}$상한론(傷寒論)${\lrcorner}$에 ‘초각(初刻)’과 ‘보각(補刻)’의 구별이 있음을 밝혔다. 초각본(初刻本)은 일본(日本) 풍산비부(楓山秘府)에 소장되어 있는데 오자(誤字)나 궐문(闕文)이 많고 서구(書口)가 일정하지 않다. 이것을 일본(日本) 안정삼년(安政三年) (1856년(年))에 굴천제모(川濟摹)가 새겼는데, 굴천제본(川濟本)(안정본(安政本)이라고도 함)이 중국에 미친 영향은 매우 크다. 조개미(趙開美)는 원판(原版)의 판목상(板木上)에서 오자(誤字)를 바로잡고 궐문(闕文)을 보충하였으며 서구(書口)를 정렬하였는데 이것이 ‘보각(補刻)’본(本)이다. 보각본(補刻本)은 현재 대만 고궁박물원도서관(故宮博物院圖書館)과 중의연구원도서관(中硏究院圖書館)에 소장되어 있다. 북경국가도서관(北京國家圖書館)에 소장되어 있는 것은 대만본의 마이크로필름이다. 1923년(年)에 운철초가 안정본(安政本)을 저본으로 삼아 영인(影印)하고 이를 송본(宋本)${\ulcorner}$상한론(傷寒論)${\lrcorner}$이라고 칭하면서 많은 사람들이 헷갈리게 되었다. 1990년(年)에 류도주(劉渡舟)가 처음으로 북경국가도서관(北京國家圖書館)에 소장된 송본(宋本)${\ulcorner}$상한론(傷寒論)${\lrcorner}$마이크로필름을 저본으로 교주(校注)한 이후에 비로소 송본(宋本)의 전문(全文)을 볼 수 있게 되었다. 여러 판본을 자세히 비교해본 결과 초각본(初刻本)과 보각본(補刻本)에 많은 차이점이 있을 뿐만 아니라, 초각본(初刻本) 사이에도 다른 점이 있음을 발견하였는데, 쉽게 이해하기 힘든 측면이 있다.

Optoelectronic properties of p-n hetero-junction array of networked p-CNTs and aligned $n-SnO_2$ nanowires

  • 최근 들어 나노선을 이용한 pn 접합 소자 연구 결과가 매우 활발하게 보고되고 있다. 그러나, 서로 다른 두 종류의 나노선으로 pn 접합 어레이 구조의 소자를 제작할 때, 나노선을 원하는 위치에 정렬하는 기술상의 어려움이 큰 걸림돌이 된다. 본 연구에서는 p-CNT와 n-$SnO_2$ 나노선을 이용한 pn 접합 어레이 구조를 제작할 수 있는 독창적인 공정기술을 제안한다. 먼저 $SiO_2$가 300 nm 성장된 Si 기판을 선택적으로 패터닝하여 BOE (6:1) 용액으로 $SiO_2$ 층을 80 nm 정도 선택적으로 에칭한 후, 선택적으로 에칭된 표면에 슬라이딩 장비를 이용하여 화학기상증착법(chemical vapor deposition: CVD)으로 성장된 n-$SnO_2$ 나노선을 전이시킨다. 그 다음 thermal tape를 이용하여 CVD 법으로 성장된 랜덤 네트워크 형태의 CNT를 $SnO_2$ 나노선이 전이된 기판 위에 전이 시킨다. 이때 성장된 CNT 필름 중 금속성 나노선을 통한 전하 이동을 감소시키기 위해, 촉매로 사용되는 페리틴의 농도를 낮춰서 전체적인 CNT의 농도를 줄이는 방법을 이용하였다. 따라서, 성장된 CNT 필름은 별도의 후처리 없이 p-형의 반도체성을 보였다. 제작된 pn-소자는 정류비가 ~103 인 정류특성을 보였으며, 254 nm 파장의 UV lamp를 조사하여 광전류가 발생하는 것을 확인하였다. 연구결과는 이종의 나노선 접합에 의한 다이오드 응용과 UV 센서응용 가능성을 보여준다.

Development of Automatic Fault Detection System for Chip-On-Film (칩 온 필름을 위한 자동 결함 검출 시스템 개발)

  • This paper presents an automatic system to detect variety of faults from fine pitch COF(chip-on-film) which is less than $30{\mu}m$. Developed system contains circuits and technique to detect fast various faults such as hard open, hard short, soft open and soft short from fine pattern. Basic principle for fault detection is to monitor fine differential voltage from pattern resistance differences between fault-free and faulty cases. The technique uses also radio frequency resonator arrays for easy detection to amplify fine differential voltage. We anticipate that proposed system is to be an alternative for conventional COF test systems since it can fast and accurately detect variety of faults from fine pattern COF test process.
