  • This study was to investigate the knowledge of cancer pain management and hospice awareness of nursing students in cancer ward. A total of 237 nursing students working at the cancer ward in Seoul and Gyeonggi Province from December 1st to 14th, 2012. The survey instrument used the 45-item scale for evaluating nursing students about knowledge of pain management and 23-item scale for evaluating hospice awareness. Data was statistically analyzed by SPSS Win 17.0 program, with descriptive analysis, t-test, pearson's correlation coefficient and ANOVA. The knowledge of pain management and hospice awareness showed statistically significant difference in the grade, religion, practice period of subjects. There was a significant difference between knowledge of pain management and hospice awareness. In order to understand cancer patient's pain, is required hospice education for forming a consensus. in addition, There is a need to increase the duration of the practice in order to have enough experience. that way, it is necessary to seek for expanding and promoting ways in order to hospice awareness.

  • Nowadays, a lot of related data obtained from these research could be given a new present meaning to accomplish the original purpose of the whole research as a human project. The method of tumor classification based on microarray could contribute to being accurate tumor classification by finding differently expressing gene pattern statistically according to a tumor type. Therefore, the process to select a closely related informative gene with a particular tumor classification to classify tumor using present microarray technology with effect is essential. In this thesis, we used cDNA microarrays of 3840 genes obtained from neuronal differentiation experiment of cortical stem cells on white mouse with cancer, constructed accurate tumor classification model by extracting informative gene list through normalization separately and then did performance estimation by analyzing and comparing each of the experiment results. Result classifying Multi-Perceptron classifier for selected genes using Pearson correlation coefficient represented the accuracy of 95.6%.

Data were collected from nursing students attending in nursing departments in G and M cities from April to June 2019. The 208 data were analyzed by descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, Pearson's correlation coefficient, and multiple regression analysis. Self-leadership(β=.331, p<.001) and critical thinking disposition(β=.302, p<.001) reported to have effect on career preparation behavior. The study model accounted for 38.7% of career preparation behavior. These results suggest that measures to promote self-leadership and career decision-making self-efficacy should be developed and operated to improve career preparation behavior of nursing students in the nursing education field.

  • This study was conducted to identify factors that affect the life satisfaction of college students. The subjects of this study were 191 students from three universities located in one area, and the data collection used self-reported questionnaires. Data analysis was performed using frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, Independent T-test, One-way ANOVA, Pearson Correlation Coefficient, and Multiple Regression Analysis. The results of the study showed that significant factors affecting the life satisfaction of the subjects were self-esteem and school life satisfaction, and the explanatory power according to the influence factors was 42.3%. The research results suggest that improving college students' self-esteem and school life satisfaction can help them improve their life satisfaction. Therefore, it is necessary to consider self-esteem and school life satisfaction when developing educational programs to improve the life satisfaction of college students in the future.

  • This study was aimed to verify the influencing factors on wellness by examining the relationships between self-efficacy for exercise, psychological need satisfaction in exercise, and wellness. The subjects of this study were self - report questionnaires collected from 88 male and female adults aged between 19 and 60 years during April 6 ~ June 8, 2017. The collected data were analyzed by SPSS/WIN 22.0 program using descriptive statistics, Pearson correlation coefficient analysis, and multiple regression analysis. As results of multiple regression analysis, the factors affecting on the wellness of adults were a relatedness of psychological need satisfaction in exercise(${\beta}=.316$, p=.012) and self-efficacy for exercise(${\beta}=.279$, p=.008). Based on the results of this study, it is necessary to implement and develop a tailored wellness program that improves the psychological need satisfaction in exercise and exercise self-efficacy for adults.

  • In this study, a model was developed for the estimating the locational thickness information of the upper clay layer to be used for the consolidation vulnerability evaluation in the Nakdong river estuary. To estimate ground layer thickness information, we developed four spatial estimation models using machine learning algorithms, which are RF (Random Forest), SVR (Support Vector Regression) and GPR (Gaussian Process Regression), and geostatistical technique such as Ordinary Kriging. Among the 4,712 borehole data in the study area collected for model development, 2,948 borehole data with an upper clay layer were used, and Pearson correlation coefficient and mean squared error were used to quantitatively evaluate the performance of the developed models. In addition, for qualitative evaluation, each model was used throughout the study area to estimate the information of the upper clay layer, and the thickness distribution characteristics of it were compared with each other.

  • The purpose of this study was to find the influential factors of nursing students' behavioral intention of Recommended Immunizations for Healthcare Personnel(RIHP). The survey was performed on 260 nursing students. Data were collected using a structured questionnaires and analyzed using t-test, ANOVA, Pearson correlation coefficient, and hierarchical regression with SPSS 23.0 program. Results of this study revealed that the influential factors on the behavioral intention of RIHP were the cues to action, self-efficacy, perceived benefits and senior grade. And the explanation power of the regression model appeared as being 36.4%(F=13.35, p<.001). Based on the study findings, further development and application of specific programs to improve nursing students' intention of RIHP in consideration of grade, to emphasize benefits of immunization, are needed to prevent infection in clinical practice.
