A Study on the Evacuation Path Analysis of Postpartum Women in Postpartum Care Facility Fire (산후조리원 화재 시 임산부의 피난경로에 관한 연구)

  • 본 논문은 산후조리원에서 화재 발생시 산후조리원에 재원하고 있는 산모의 피난경로를 분석한 연구이다. 화재 시 피난시간은 이동거리와 공간구조에 따라 달라질 수 있기 때문에 화재시 피난시간이나 피난거리 등의 연구가 매우 중요하다. 산후조리원에 생활하는 사람은 산모와 신생아로 화재시 피난활동에 적절한 대응을 하기 어려운 인원이 대부분 구성되어 있다. 본 연구에서는 전국의 산후조리원 중에서 40개의 산후조리원을 무작위로 추출하여 각 산후조리원의 피난거리와 피난경로 등을 분석하였다. 또한 선행 연구에서 제시하는 피난비용분석기법을 적용하여 40개 산후조리원에서의 피난지수를 산정하고 피난위험성을 분석하였다. 그 결과 피난경로는 피난거리와 공간구조를 파악하는 시지각적 요소가 중요한 것으로 나타났다.

Basic Experimental Study on the Characteristics of Way Selection for the Development of Evacuation Simulation Model on board a Ship (선내 피난모델 개발을 위한 피난경로 선택특성에 관한 기초실험 연구)

  • As the numbers of users of domestic passenger ships increased up to 14.5 millions at 2012, the numbers of ships accidents also increased as 2 times than ever. It will be very important to develop technologies related with safety design for onboard passengers and disclose the potential problems. This study performed consciousness survey on ordinary peoples' way finding who have not got any regular anti-disaster training, to develop evacuation models for evacuation feasibility studies. Followings are the results answered by 83 participants for 33 way finding questions. Respondents selected right ways more than 6~18% for 2 ways like T type, U type, Y type passages. But when there are some walkers and/or runners, respondents preferred to select the way where walkers or runners are. And more over the ratio of the ways that runners are on is comparatively higher than walkers. On 'ㅏ'type, 'ㅓ'type and 3 way type passages, even though the walkers and/or runners are affected to answerers, straight way were most preferred. And it is clear that peoples like bright passages. On the other hands, peoples responded as they like right, downward and near stairs more than left, upward and far stairs, respectively. and very few selected escalator and elevator for as evacuation stairs.

  • The safe evacuation of people during disasters is of utmost importance. Various life safety evacuation simulation tools have been developed and implemented, with most relying on algorithms that analyze maps to extract the shortest path and guide agents along predetermined routes. While effective in predicting evacuation routes in stable disaster conditions and short timeframes, this approach falls short in dynamic situations where disaster scenarios constantly change. Existing algorithms struggle to respond to such scenarios, prompting the need for a more adaptive evacuation route algorithm that can respond to changing disasters. Artificial intelligence technology based on reinforcement learning holds the potential to develop such an algorithm. As a fundamental step in algorithm development, this study aims to evaluate whether an evacuation algorithm developed by reinforcement learning satisfies the performance conditions of the evacuation simulation tool required by IMO MSC.1/Circ1533.

인간보행에 적합한 피난 유도

  • 초고층 또는 대형.다중이용 건축물에서 화재 등 재해발생시 대형참사를 예방하기 위하여 대규모 관람장, 지하철역사 등의 바닥면에 설치하는 피난유도표시 설치가 주목 받고 있다. 화염으로 인해 조명과 피난표지의 식별이 곤란하게 되는 경우 피난유도표지는 피난경로를 지속적으로 확인할 수 있는 수단이기 때문이다. 특히 지난 9.11 세계무역센터 테러 당시 , 공포와 암흑 천지의 상황에서 빌딩 내에 설치되어 있던 피난유도표지는 많은 인명을 구하는데 크게 기여하기도 하였다. 축광 피난구 표지는 빛을 축적해 배터리 등의 전기적인 요소로 작동하는 비상조명과 달리 주위환경에 상관없이 작동할 수 있어 유지관리 측면에서 비상조명의 문제점을 보완할 수 있다. 더욱이 피난경로를 따라 이동할 수 있어 피난자가 얻는 심리적 이익도 함께 얻을 수 있는 잇점으로 전망 또한 매우 밝다.

  • If a disaster occurs in the underground like subway, disaster response system should minimize the casualties. It must quickly guide passengers to a safe evacuation route. But sometimes the system does not work properly. And then they need distributed disaster response system which make decision autonomously. In this study, we proposed the evacuation route analysis and induction algorithms for creationg passenger evacuation route and offering optimal evacuation route.

Vertical Evacuation Speed in Stairwell of a High-rise Office Building (업무용 고층건물 계단실의 보행속도에 관한 연구)

  • As building height is increased, more careful decisions about the required safe egress time is needed for evacuation. This study analyzed the influence of three training sessions on the vertical speed of evacuation in the high rise building. Evacuation experiments were done in a high-rise office building in Seoul, and we analyzed the vertical evacuation speed as a function of density using a camera. Controlled and uncontrolled total evacuation were compared using the Pathfinder simulation. The process of repeated training, changed the specific stair utilization rate from 6.3% to 39.5%. The vertical evacuation speed as a function of density was analyzed using the equation s = 1.004 ? 0.288D, which is very similar to the equation used in a different study. The total evacuation time of the special controlled total evacuation was reduced by about 25% compared to the simultaneous evacuation.

Design and Implementation of LoRa-based Emergency Exit Guide System (LoRa 기반 피난 유도 체계의 설계 및 구현)

  • This paper proposes and implements a LoRa-based emergency exit guide system which can direct the optimal refuge path accounting for the real state of the fires. Each 4-way emergency exit guide sign presents a right direction through one of four LED signs toward the possible exit dynamically calculated by the shortest path algorithm. We constructed a simulation environment with 8 spots of the emergency exit guide signs and 2 exits, which can simulate variant cases of fire accidents, and showed that the proposed algorithm can presents the right guidance for each emergency exit guide sign. We also evaluated the performances of LoRa-based wireless communications using a self developed communication module in the various indoor and outdoor environments. The proposed system can be applied to small and medium sized buildings as well as larger ones in terms of cost efficiency, in which there's no needs to invest for the complex equipments except only sensors and emergency exit guide signs.

  • Escape distance and escape barrier are critical elements for the quantitative evaluation of escape safety. Through theoretical demonstration and modeling in precedent studies, they have been analyzed for their generality and applicability. To make more practical evaluation method, we should quantitatively analyze the influence of each barrier and escape condition on escape safety considering various barriers in escaping routes. In this study, to develop more accurate and applicable escape analysis model, we have focused on three research methods as below: First, we derived quantified function to predict various escape barriers in escaping routes by theoretical analyses of the escape barriers and conditions. Second, we substituted the derived quantified function for an evaluation tool of escape safety suggested by precedent studies. Third, we examined applicability and feasibility of the developed method by modeling with the consideration of the escape conditions and barriers.

  • 본 연구에서는 화재시 재실자의 안전한 피난을 유도하는 피난유도시설의 설치기준과 지하철역사, 대형편의점(마트), 종합병원 등 의료시설, 학교 등 교육시설과 같은 불특정 다수의 사람이 이용하는 건축물에 설치된 피난 유도등의 현장적용사례와 유지관리 실태를 조사하였다. 이러한 건축물에서 재실자의 피난에 영향을 미치는 요소, 예상되는 인명 안전 등에 대하여 분석하여 문제점을 도출하였다. 본 연구결과는 기존의 소방시스템의 문제점으로 지적되고 있는 화재 발생 위치와 확산 경로에 관계없이 획일적으로 피난 방향을 표시하고 있는 시스템의 개선을 위한 최적의 피난 경로를 표시하는 인공지능형 방향성 유도등 개발에 활용할 것이다.
