This paper described the types and characteristics of educational programs in major natural history museums of the world. Data were collected from the websites, annual reports, and written materials of the Natural History Museum at London, Australian Museum at Sydney, Field Museum of Natural History at Chicago, Smithsonian Museum at Washington D.C, Royal Tyrrell Museum at Canada and American Museum of Natural History at New York. As the result of this study, we presented ten types of educational programs, which were moveable museums, workshops, lecture/courses, festival/events, discovery activities, scientific exploration/research projects, field trips, youth curators/internship, loan materials and camp/tours. We also described the examples equivalent to each program type. The characteristics of educational programs provided by museums as informal learning settings were analyzed in terms of their themes, participation levels, connection with exhibition, relation to curriculum, and learning activity levels. Information in this paper will assist science teachers, museum educators and curators: (1) to design and implement various types and contents of educational programs; (2) to use characteristics of educational programs to assess and develop them; (3) to make important contributions to science education that involves the introduction of various scientific aspects and collections to the public, and the use of programs for science learning and teaching coherent to existing curricula.

The purpose of this study was to find out the types and characteristics of 'good camping' on the base of camping participant's recognition with Q-methodology. The subjects were selected 15 Q population and did 1:1 interview on them. With those statements, this study was selected 45 P samples and performs Q sort with them. The Q sort result was analyzed by using QUANL program. The results of this study, First, the characteristics of company·break type can be defined with comfort break in nature and the companion except family. Second, family activity type can be defined with the various activities with family. Third, nature·activity can be defined with free hobby activities in nature.

The purpose of this study is to suggest the development of interactive services and technologies in the media industry. Through the analysis of domestic two-way broadcasting contents service, this study analyzed platform and services type according to service type of terrestrial broadcasting, SO operator and Telco. Also, by identifying the characteristics of interactive programs(open, interactive, personalized, stereoscopic), this study propose important convergence possibilities of the future providers and development plans through supporting technologies and services for each characteristic. In the case of terrestrial broadcasters, ARS, web sites and mobile apps were mostly provided in both directions, and SO and satellite broadcasting operators were found to provide diversity in interactive service operation using data domain. In the case of IPTV companies, most of them provide interactive services with additional video or information service through adjustment button or app, and cable TV operators had more adjustment data broadcasting than exclusive use data broadcasts. Therefore, domestic interactive broadcasting service type needs convergence type of revenue model needs and needs to be converted into new competitive interactive broadcasting program service environment.

This study examined whether there is any difference in the public library patrons' library uses depending on their participation in the educational and cultural programs of such libraries. Additional analysis was conducted to determine if the particular educational and cultural program participants' showed any consistent library use patterns. The statistical analysis of such program offerings and the patron survey data resulted in the findings such as that there were statistically significant differences in how the patrons' used the libraries, the number of library resources borrowed, and the frequency of library websites and/or mobile applications used based on their participation in the educational and cultural programs and also the types of programs that they attended.

This study is to verify between Juvenile delinquents and normal juvenile groups using MBTI personality types. This study aims to know personality types on the juvenile delinquents and apply to creative school education administration. The research was performed as below: First, Measuring and descriptive statistical analysis were performed. One hundred and two subjects who were youths disposed of Seoul nambu youth alternative education center. Data were collected from July to October in 2012. Second, Questionaries assessing demographic and MBTI(Myers-Briggs Type Indicator) by Carl Jung were administered. Third, statistical analysis was done by SPSS for Window 12.0. To Verify the reliability of the measures and correlations between questionnaire items, and to find out the difference of the specific personality types, were used frequency analysis and Pearson Chi-Square. The results of this is significant personality types of juvenile delinquents are 'E', 'P', and 'SP'.

Advertising is both applauded and criticized for its characteristics and roles on society. Advertising environment is changing and developing. The important changes in advertising are fragmentation of traditional media, growth of new media, and increasing clutter. The major issue in advertising and broadcasting system in Korea is reintroduction of in-program advertising on terrestrial television stations. The purpose of this study is investigate the responses of viewers to in-program advertising. This study considers program genre as mediating variable which may affect the viewers' responses to in-program advertising. Independent variables of this study are the insertion of in-program advertising (insertion/non-insertion) and program genres(news/educational/drama/entertainment program). Dependent variables of this study are viewers' responses, attitude towards broadcasting station and attitude towards advertiser. This study was run as a $2{\times}4$ factorial design with 30 subjects per cell, resulting in a total sample size of 240. This study randomly assigned each subject to 1 of the 8 treatment groups. The result of this study shows that in-program advertising induces negative responses of viewers, attitude towards broadcasting station and advertiser. And this study found that viewers showed the negative responses to in-program advertising regardless of program genre. The findings of this study illustrate the need of consideration and planning of in-program advertising to protect viewers' right.

In this paper, I discuss the development techniques and implemented type of DAVIS, a standalone JAVA-based application, by which statistics application can be downloaded from a web server, stored and installed to a client. Also I discuss both the server-based application and the client-based application that analyze statistics data. Considering the strengths and weaknesses of types discussed previously, I propose an advanced learning system of statistics that can execute an application in a client by client request. And data used in this system are loaded from a database server or input into a client by users.

초기 청소년기 자녀를 둔 부모는 사춘기에 대한 지식의 부족, 사춘기 자녀의 사고유형에 대한 이해부족, 그리고 세대차이로 인해 자녀양육에 상당한 문제를 지니고 있다. 본 연구는 부모-자녀간의 관계를 개선하고 그들의 건강한 성장과 발달을 돕기 위한 부모교육 프로그램을 개발하는데 그 목적이 있다. 본 연구에서 개발한 "1315PEP" 프로그램의 구체적인 주제는 부모로서의 자신의 모습 바라보기, 자녀의 세계 이해하기, 인성유형 상호 이해하기, 자녀의 독립과 자율성 격려하기, 훈육기술 익히기, 그리고 문제해결하기 등이다.

디지털 TV 방송의 시작과 함께 온갖 종류의 정보를 쌍방향으로 전달할 수 있는 데이터 방송이 가능해졌다. 그 중 연동형 데이터 방송은 방송 프로그램을 전송하면서 그 프로그램과 관련된 데이터를 같이 제공하는 서비스이다. 본 논문에서는 TV 방송을 보면서 퀴즈 자막을 내보내고, 리모콘을 통해 즉각적인 정답확인이 가능한 데이터 방송 애플리케이션 Xlet을 개발하였다. 더불어 자막으로 내보내지는 퀴즈의 내용 및 유형 등을 제어하는 퀴즈 자막 편집기를 구현하였다. 프로그램 PD는 퀴즈 자막 편집기를 통해 퀴즈의 유형과 내용, 글자의 크기와 색상, 자막이 나가는 시간등을 선택하고. 제어된 내용을 파일에 저장할 수 있다. 실제 TV상의 에뮬레이터나 PC상의 에뮬레이터에서 데이터 방송 마스터 프로그램을 실행시키면 방송이 시작된다. 이 때 편집기를 통해 만들어진 파일의 내용을 읽어와 PD가 지정한 내용과 시간에 퀴즈를 내보내게 된다. 이것을 보는 시청자는 리모콘으로 답을 입력하고 그 에 대한 정답 여부를 확인할 수 있도록 한다.
