  • 객체지향 텍스트 프로그래밍 및 시각 프로그래밍 교육에 대한 연구는 학생들이 프로그램 개발을 진행하는 과정 혹은 프로그래밍을 교수하는 방법론과 프로그램 개발을 위한 적합한 분석 및 설계 방법론을 찾는 것이다. 이 논문에서는 컴퓨터 프로그래밍 교육에서 객체지향 텍스트/시각 프로그래밍 교육을 적용하고 평가하기 위한 평가 지표를 개발한다. 이 지표는 시각적 혹은 텍스트 기반 프로그래밍 언어/도구를 사용할 때 학생들의 프로그래밍 교육에 대한 적합성을 측정하고 분석하여 학생들의 이해력, 추상화 능력, 프로그램 구현 능력과 학생들의 수준별 적합성을 측정하고 분석하며, 또한, 측정/분석 방법론을 개발하고 적용하는데 활용할 수 있다.

  • The research of the object-oriented visual programming education is related to investigate the instructional method for computer programming, the process for program development for students, and the suitability analysis and design methodology for program development. In order to develop the educational methodology for the students who have the difficulties to study the computer programming and to enhance the abilities for the development of object-oriented programs, in this paper, we suggest the evaluation metrics to apply and assess for the object-oriented programming education. Also, we introduce the visual programming education methodology and curriculum using Alice programming. The evaluation metrics for the visual programming education suggested in this paper, is accepted when the visual programming languages/tools are used in the programming education to assess and analyze the suitabilities for the programming education for students, so to utilize the analyses for abilities of understanding, abstraction, and program implementation by level.

  • The computer programming education is very important to study the related subjects in computer science, and also in the technology education for the students finding employment. In this paper, we develop the assessment metrics to evaluate and apply the textual and visual programming in the computer education. Also, we analyze the validity for the programming languages and tools for the education and getting job of students, and choose the appropriate programming language/tool for programming education. And, we develop the curriculum for programming education, finally apply and analyze in computer education of university. Especially, we compare and analyze the effectiveness for the text based programming language(JAVA) and visual programming language/environment(LabVIEW) in the area of embedded/mobile/Web programming fields which are necessary in the related industry to the recent trend of IT technology.

  • 컴퓨터 프로그래밍 교육은 컴퓨터과학 분야의 관련 전공과목을 공부하기 위하여 매우 중요할 뿐만 아니라, 학생들의 취업을 위한 기술 교육에서도 매우 중요하다. 이 논문에서는 학생들의 교육 및 취업에 적합한 교육용 및 상용 프로그래밍 언어, 도구에 대한 타당성을 분석하여 프로그래밍 교육에 적합한 프로그래밍 언어/도구를 선택하고, 이에 대한 교육 과정을 개발하여 프로그래밍 현장 교육에 적용하고 분석한다. 특히, 최근의 기술 추세와 산업계에 필요한 임베디드/모바일/웹/3D 프로그래밍 분야에 널리 사용되고 있는 프로그래밍 분야에서 텍스트 기반 언어(예: JAVA)와 시각 프로그래밍 언어/환경(예: LabVIEW)에 대한 유용성을 비교하여 분석한다.

  • 학생들이 프로그래밍 교육에서 학습에 어려움을 겪고 있는 객체지향 프로그램 개발 능력을 향상시킬 수 있는 교육방법으로서 이 논문에서는 시각 프로그래밍 교육 방법론과 교과과정을 도입한다. 3D 프로그래밍 환경을 제공하여 게임 형태의 프로그램을 객체지향 프로그래밍 방식으로 쉽게 작성할 수 있는 Alice 언어를 정규 교과과정에 도입하여 학생들의 프로그래밍 언어에 대한 이해도의 향상과 프로그래밍에 대한 학습 의욕을 고취하여 능력 있는 프로그래머의 양성에 기여할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다. 시각 프로그래밍 교육 방법의 도입에 대한 성과를 분석하기 위하여 프로그래밍 교육의 유용성을 분석할 수 있는 평가 지표를 제시하고 학생들의 프로그래밍 학습 효과를 분석한다.

Development of SW Program Assesment Indicator for SW Education in Elementary and Middle School (초·중학교 SW교육을 위한 프로그래밍 평가지표 개발)

  • In this paper, I developed a assesment indicator to evaluate SW program developed by students in SW education. The SW education carry out in elementary school, middle school and high school from 2016. But the assesment indicator to evaluate SW program had not been developed until now. Therefore, I tried to develop the assesment indicator that have harmoniously educational characteristic and SW qualitative characteristic. First of all, I had set the 15 attributes for assesment and developed the 36 criteria for 15 attributes. And the validity of 15 attributes and 36 criteria for assesment had been reviewed by 39 SW educational experts. As a result, the 15 attributes and 36 criteria for assesment were determined to which that have validity. I expect that the assesment indicator developed in this paper will raise the reliability of evaluation in SW education. And the assesment indicator may be used at SW competition conference for teenagers.

  • 2015 개정 교육과정을 통해 소프트웨어 교육의 일환으로 프로그래밍 교육이 초등학교 정규교과에 도입된다. 프로그래밍 교육이 문제해결력에 미치는 영향에 대한 분석을 통해 효과적인 교수 학습 방법이 제시될 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 엔트리와 엔트리용 센서보드를 활용한 5차시 분량의 학습 프로그램을 개발하고 그것을 적용한 수업을 실시하였다. 수업 전 후에 문제 해결 검사도구를 활용하여 학생들의 감마파와 뇌파집중 지표의 변화를 측정하고 분석하였다. 이를 통해 효과적인 프로그래밍 교육의 필요성을 제안하였다.

  • Through the 2015 Revised Curriculum, programming education is introduced into the elementary school regular curriculum as part of the software education. Effective teaching & learning methods can be presented through an analysis of the effects of programming education on the problem-solving abilities. In this paper, students were divided into two groups according to their academic achievement, a learning program was developed for five times of implementation using the entry and the sensor board for the entry, and classes to which it was applied were conducted. Before and after the classes, a problem-solving test tool was used to measure and analyze the changes in Gamma waves and EEG concentration indicators. As a result, the gamma waves and the concentration indices of the students in the group with high academic achievement showed a tendency to be improved through the programming lessons, and those of the students in the group with poor academic achievement showed no such tendency. Through this, the necessity of the level-specific programming education in consideration of students' academic abilities was suggested.

  • It is the latest fashion of interesting with software education in public school environment and also consider as high priority issue of curriculum for college freshman with programming 101 courses. The block-based programming tool is used widely for the beginner and provides several positive features compare than text-based programming language tools. To measure quality of programming code elaborately which is based script language, it is need to very tough manual process. As a result the previously research related with evaluation of block-based script code has been focused very simple methods in which normalize the number of blocks used which is related with programming concept. In such cases in this, it is difficult to measure structural vulnerability of script code and implicit programming concept which does not expose. In this research, the framework is proposed which enable to measure and evaluate quality of code script of block-based programming tools and also provides method to find of vulnerability of script code. In this framework, the quality metrics is constructed to structuralize implicit programming concept and then developed the quality measure and vulnerability model of script to improve level of programming. Consequently, the proposed methods enable to check of level of programming and predict the heuristic target level.

Analyzing the effects of artificial intelligence (AI) education program based on design thinking process (디자인씽킹 프로세스 기반의 인공지능(AI) 교육 프로그램 적용 효과분석)

  • At the beginning of the discussion of AI education in K-12 education, the study was conducted to develop and apply an AI education program based on Design Thinking and analyze the effects of the AI education programs. In the AI education program, students explored and defined the AI problems they were interested in, gathered the necessary data to build an AI model, and then developed a project using scratch. In order to analyze the effectiveness of the AI education program, the change of learner's perception of the value of AI and the change of AI efficacy were analyzed. The overall perception of the AI project was also analyzed. As a result, AI efficacy was significantly increased through the experience of carrying out the project according to the Design Thinking process. In addition, the efficacy of solving problems with AI was influenced by the level of use of programming languages. The learner's overall perception of the AI project was positive, and the perceptions of each stage of the AI project (AI problem understanding and problem exploration, practice, problem definition, problem solving idea implementation, evaluation and presentation) was also positive. This positive perception was higher among students with high level of programming language use. Based on these results, the implications for AI education were suggested.
