  • Radars used by air-crafts have two important characteristics; First, they should have a real-time signal processing system finishing signal processing before deadline while getting and processing successive in-phase and quadrature data. Second, they can cover a lot of modes including A2A(Air to Air), A2G(Air to Gound), A2S(Air to Sea), and Ground Map(GM). So the structure of radar signal processing SWs in modern airborne radars are becoming more complicate. Also, the implementation of radar signal processing SW needs to reuse common code blocks between other modes for efficiency or change some of the code blocks into alternative algorithm blocks. These are the reason why the radar signal processing SW framework suggested in this paper is taking advantage of modular programming. This paper proposes an modular framework applicable on the airborne radar signal processing SW maintaining the real-time characteristic using the signal processing procedures for A2G/A2S as examples.

  • This paper explains trends in security technologies for ICS. Since ICS is usually applied to large-scale national main infrastructures and industry fields, minor errors caused by cyberattack could generate enormous economic cost. ICS has different characteristic with commonly used IT systems, so considering security threats of ICS separately with IT is needed for developing modern security technology. This paper introduce framework for ICS that analyzes recent cyberattack tactics & techniques and find out trends in Intrusion Detection System (IDS) which is representative technology for ICS security, and analyzes AI technologies used for IDS. Specifically, this paper explains data collection and analysis for applying AI techniques, AI models, techniques for evaluating AI Model.

  • Robotic systems have developed very rapidly over the past decade. Robot Operating System is an open source-based software framework for the efficient development of robot operating systems and applications, and is widely used in various research and industrial fields. ROS applications may contain various vulnerabilities. Various studies have been conducted to monitor the excution of these ROS applications at runtime. In this study, we propose a real-time attack detection system using event-based runtime monitoring in ROS 2. Our attack detection system extends tracetools of ros2_tracing to instrument events into core libraries of ROS 2 middleware layer and monitors the events during runtime to detect attacks on the application layer through out-of-order execution of the APIs.

Development of K-12 Digital Culture Curriculum for AI Edcuation (AI교육을 위한 초등 디지털 문화 교육과정 개발)

  • The digital culture area is a field of artificial intelligence education and partially overlaps with information ethics, and this study proposed an elementary school-centered digital culture curriculum, a detailed area of artificial intelligence education. First, as a leading overseas case in the field of digital culture, we analyzed the secure online interaction, which is the core content of the K12CS framework in the United States and the UK's computing curriculum. We presented by categorizing it into four digital areas: content, communication method, copyright, and job exploration in accordance with the domestic educational environment and field conditions. In addition, educational goals were stated according to the level of kindergarten and elementary school, and the validity of a group of field teachers majoring in in information and artificial intelligence was investigated to confirm the validity. As a result of the analysis, it was found that all the contents set were suitable except for some of the detailed goals of the first grade elementary school stages. Accordingly, a digital culture curriculum for artificial intelligence education was presented by revising and supplementing the detailed goals of the first graders.

  • The Railway Safety Act of 2014 strengthened the 'Railway Safety Management System' to establish autonomous safety management for railway operators and railway facility managers. Accordingly, it is required to establish and implement risk assessment and safety measures for risk management. However, the current risk assessment system is carried out at the fragmented safety management level within individual fields, which has caused difficulties in establishing and implementing risk assessment and safety measures. In addition, the technical standards of the safety management system stipulate that risk assessment of railway operators is mandatory, so standardized standards for risk assessment of railway facilities and railway vehicle maintenance are needed. Therefore, in this paper, we first verified railway risks by analyzing railway accident data for the last 10 years, and proposed a standardized framework to effectively assess and manage risks through a case study of a condition-based smart maintenance system developed based on railway vehicle maintenance data.

Development and Application of Private-focused Digital Public Service Evaluation Framework: Focused on AHP Analysis (민간 중심 디지털 공공 서비스 적합성 평가 프레임워크 개발 및 시범 적용 연구: AHP를 중심으로)

  • Globally, under the leadership of advanced ICT countries, the private sector is promoting various policies to promote the digital transformation of public services. Looking at the research trend, design of public service indicators, development of evaluation system, and empirical research are being carried out steadily, but there are insufficient research cases on models in which the private sector participates in the planning, development, and operation of public services. In this study, Private-centric digital public service suitability evaluation indicators were discovered through interviews with experts in various fields, and weights for each indicator were analyzed through AHP evaluation. In addition, by applying the analysis results to 18 digital public services on a trial basis, the importance and priority of evaluation indicators for each service were derived, and at the same time, the evaluation framework was designed and applied to diagnose implications. As a result of the study, 'social utility', 'corporate acceptability', and 'public acceptability' were selected as the top three indicators of suitability evaluation. At this time, it was analyzed that the weight of the 'company acceptability' index, which includes sub-indices such as 'service profitability', 'service scalability', and 'private initiative possibility', was the highest among the three top indicators. As a result of the demonstration for public services, "IoT facility unmanned remote monitoring service", "blockchain real estate transaction service", and "digital twin disaster prediction service" were evaluated as the most suitable public services for the transition to the private sector.

  • 무형문화유산의 전수 방식은 장인과 이수자의 직접적인 교육으로만 이루어져 왔으며 또한 전수는 긴 시간 동안 이루어지고 전수 방식을 따로 기록하는 경우가 드물며 동작이나 구전으로만 전해지기 때문에 표준화된 전수는 이루어질 수 없었다. 현재 국제 유네스코와 국내문화재청에서는 유무형문화재에 대한 전수와 기록의 중요성을 알고 다양한 디지털 기록을 진행하고 있다. 하지만 4차 산업혁명 시대에 무형유산 기록화 기술은 보유자의 기 예능 장인 공법을 기록하는 부분으로 영상기록 및 사진기록 도서 음원 등 아직까지 기존 아날로그 기술 방법으로 기록이 이루어지고 있으며 최근 5G 상용화와 함께 디지털 4차 산업 혁명시대와 발맞춰 무형유산 정보관리 기관에서도 무형유산 ICT 기반 기술 지원을 활성화되고 있는 시점에서 본 연구는 오랜 시간 동안 숙련도 높은 기술공법으로 한국 전통문화의 맥을 이어가고 있는 무형문화재 장인들의 기술 중에서 손을 사용하는 바느질 중심으로 자이로센서 기반으로 정확한 손동작 정보를 획득하고 기록할 수 있는 시스템 설계 및 연구개발을 통하여 ICT 기반 장인 공법 4D 기록화 기술을 제시하고자 한다. 이와 같은 기술로 무형문화유산의 새로운 4D 기록 방법으로 정확하게 기록하고 보존하여 무형문화유산 전승과 교육을 할 수 있고 문화유산의 유형에 맞는 교육·산업·홍보 등 다양한 사용 목적에 맞는 형태로 폭넓게 사용될 수 있다.

A Systematic Review of Eco-CMF Design Processes for Fashion Products (체계적 문헌 고찰을 통한 패션 제품의 친환경 CMF 디자인 프로세스 분석)

  • An eco-CMF design process is vital to the sustainable development of fashion products concerning both emotional and physical quality factors, thus extending the use phase of the product life cycle. Life cycle assessment (LCA) is widely used in other fields to evaluate environmental impact; However, the method is rarely adopted in fashion. While cooperating with design, technology, and the users, reflecting the CMF design process is an excellent approach to the sustainable development of fashion products. Moreover, it is likely to evoke favorable reactions in users toward products. Therefore, this study aimed to review the sustainable design strategies associated with CMF in the fashion industry. Using a systematic review, 135 papers that met the inclusion criteria were examined from peer-reviewed journal articles published between 1990 and 2022. They contained specific design processes or tools relevant to eco-CMF design. The search used the Web of Science database. After a rigorous search, the final six peer-reviewed journal articles were selected and underwent thorough content reviews. Then, the CMF design tools and frameworks for eco-design featured in the articles were carefully reviewed and analyzed. Finally, we proposed practical guidelines for the sustainable development of eco-CMF design in the fashion industry. The study outcomes revealed the need for concrete eco-CMF design processes, particularly for fashion products. Furthermore, more active research involving eco-CMF design processes for the sustainable environmental impact of fashion products is required.

  • 하천관리지리정보시스템(RIMGIS)은 하천정보의 표준화 및 전산화를 통한 정보제공과 하천에 관련한 업무를 지원하기 위해 개발된 시스템으로 5개의 지방국토관리청에서 관리하고 있는 하천대장 및 부도, 구조물도 등의 다양한 하천 관련 정보를 정보화하여 인허가 및 하천기본계획 등의 하천업무를 신속하고 효율적으로 수행할 수 있도록 운영되고 있다. 국가 주요 기반시설을 생애주기 관점에서 관리하고 소요재원의 확보근거를 마련하고자 "지속 가능한 기반시설 관리 기본법"이 제정되었고 최근에 시행되었다. 이에 따라 국토안전관리원에서는 도로·철도·철도 하천 등과 같은 사회기반시설(15종)의 노후화에 대비하여 전략적인 투자와 관리방식 도입을 목적으로 인프라 총조사 사업을 진하천 등과 같은 사회기반시설(15종)의 노후화에 대비하여 전략적인 투자와 관리방식 도입을 목적으로 인프라 총조사 사업을 진행하고 관리를 위해서 기반터 시스템을 도입하였다. 하천관리지리정보시스템과 기반터 시스템은 하천 기반시설의 정보가 데이터베이스에서 다뤄진다는 점에서 유사하지만, 기반터 시스템은 하천관리지리정보시스템과 달리 유지관리 측면에 대한 필요한 보수 주기, 필요 예산 등과 같은 정보를 산정할 수 있도록 프레임워크가 구성되어 있다. 그러나 하천과 기반시설의 코드를 연결하는 작업들은 현재 상황에서는 미흡한 실정이고, 유지관리와 시설물의 노후화를 가속화하는 홍수와 침수피해 등을 전체적으로 고려할 수 있는 방안에 대한 연구도 미진한 상황이다. 이에 본 연구에서는 하천 기반시설의 유지관리를 위해 하천, 제방, 인명에 대한 위험지수를 고려한 잠재 인명피해 위험도와 잠재 홍수피해 위험도를 평가기준으로 설정하고 적용하였다. 또한 이를 포함시킨 투자우선순위 평가기법을 도입하여 감가상각과 위험요소 등을 고려할 수 있는 데이터베이스 구성 방안을 제시하고자 한다.

Development of a Framework for Improvement of Sensor Data Quality from Weather Buoys (해양기상부표의 센서 데이터 품질 향상을 위한 프레임워크 개발)

  • In this study, we focus on the improvement of data quality transmitted from a weather buoy that guides a route of ships. The buoy has an Internet-of-Thing (IoT) including sensors to collect meteorological data and the buoy's status, and it also has a wireless communication device to send them to the central database in a ground control center and ships nearby. The time interval of data collected by the sensor is irregular, and fault data is often detected. Therefore, this study provides a framework to improve data quality using machine learning models. The normal data pattern is trained by machine learning models, and the trained models detect the fault data from the collected data set of the sensor and adjust them. For determining fault data, interquartile range (IQR) removes the value outside the outlier, and an NGBoost algorithm removes the data above the upper bound and below the lower bound. The removed data is interpolated using NGBoost or long-short term memory (LSTM) algorithm. The performance of the suggested process is evaluated by actual weather buoy data from Korea to improve the quality of 'AIR_TEMPERATURE' data by using other data from the same buoy. The performance of our proposed framework has been validated through computational experiments based on real-world data, confirming its suitability for practical applications in real-world scenarios.
