Compensation Committee Quality and Managers' Pay-Performance Sensitivity (보상위원회의 품질과 성과-보상민감도)

  • The introduction and operation of compensation committee can affect managers' incentive-compensation system. In this context, The purpose of this paper examines whether managers' pay-performance sensitivity is affected by the quality of the compensation committee(compensation committee size, the proportion of outside directors on the compensation committee, the proportion of directors with 2 or more non additional board seats on the compensation committee) To test this hypothesis, we use a sample of 260 firm-year observations between 2001-2013. The results are as follows. Firstly, we find that no significant relevance between the compensation committee size and pay-performance sensitivity. But the proportion of outside directors on the compensation committee and the proportion of directors with 2 or more non additional board seats on the compensation committee is positively associated with both pay-earnings based performance sensitivity and pay-stock based performance sensitivity. Secondly, we find that the integration quality of the compensation committee is positively associated with both pay-earnings based performance sensitivity and pay-stock based performance sensitivity. Overall, our analysis suggests that compensation committee are important mechanism in the design of efficient incentive-compensation system.

The Effect of Quality Factors of Overseas Direct Purchase on Perceived Value and Purchase Intention: The Moderating Effect of Price Sensitivity

  • In this study, variables were constructed based on previous studies to examine the effects of overseas direct purchase quality factors(information quality, system quality, and service quality), perceived value, and purchase intention. In addition, differences between groups were examined through the moderating effect of price sensitivity. A survey was conducted on overseas direct purchase users, and 178 questionnaires were used for empirical analysis. The collected data was analyzed by SPSS 25.0 and AMOS 21.0. The results are as follows: First, it was found that the quality factors of overseas direct purchase had a positive effect on perceived value. Second, it was found that the quality factors of overseas direct purchase had a positive effect on purchase intention. Third, as a result of testing the moderating effect of price sensitivity in the relationship between the quality factors of overseas direct purchase, perceived value, and purchase intention, there was no difference between groups. In conclusion, the implications and limitations of this study are presented.

  • This paper is to measure the sensitivity of relations in communication network operation. In order to procure an important adequacy in the network operation and quality improvement, it is necessary to increase network operation efficiency and analyze the characteristic of network operation. Finally, we analyze costing appropriate operation, propose profit increase scheme and apply realistic business. First of all it's important to improve and estimate a proper operating cost thoroughly and comprehensively. Because the important issue of this process is quality process and this quality process occurs customers' satisfaction, therefore, to make a mutual relation in-between individual change of each element is to analyze a reasonable standard. So, for this reason we study on structuring nice moods for network operation and estimating many scenarios for measuring efficiency. Especially those in economic and sensitivity based. It will be the development of analyzing methods which suites the service and communication system. The result of this study gives a basis for making a flexible and highly predictable system by pre configured sensitivity analysis of each scenarios.

  • Even though private brands have low cost advantages to national brands, consumers perceive the qualities of private brands lower than the qualities of national brands. To overcome such perceptions of consumers, alliances between private brands and national brands should be tried. This study investigates the effects of consumers' attitude for private brands and national brands on the evaluation of brand alliance between private and national brands, especially when national brands are used as ingredient brands of the private brand. We also study the moderating effects of consumers' price sensitivity and quality sensitivity on this brand alliance evaluation. Additionally, we try to provide some guidelines for successful brand alliances between private and national brands.

  • 본 논문에서는 부하의 상태에 따라 능동적으로 추종 및 보상기능을 갖으며, 에너지절약기능 및 고품질을 유지할 수 있는 소형이면서 가격도 저렴한 전력 품질보상장치의 Prototype을 구성하고져 한다. 최근 일반 주택이나 사무실내에 반도체소자 및 전력전자기기의 사용이 급증하면서 이들 기기에서 발생하는 고조파 및 무효전력량이 증가하여 주위의 환경과 전기적 손실이 심각한 문제를 발생한다. 이런 상황 하에서 전력품질에 민감한 부하들이 급증하고 부하의 민감도에 따라 다양한 전력품질을 요구하는 장치가 점점 필요로 하게 되었다. 지금까지 국내 외적으로 이런 문제를 보상하는 소형보상장치는 가전기기 즉 세탁기 냉장고등 각기 개개로 부착하고 있는 것들은 어느 정도 개발되어 사용되고 있으나, 가정용도로 사용하기 위하여 주택전체를 보상하는 기기는 개발이 되어있지 않은 상태에 있다. 따라서 현재까지 국내 외적으로 개발되어온 기기들은 가정용 소형 전력품질의 모니터링 수준이라고 할 수 있다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 기기의 최 말단 즉, 기기자체에 부착하여 사용하는 단순형 보상형태를 확장시켜 소형이면서 에너지 절약이 가능한 가정용으로 적합한 능동 추종형 전력품질 보상장치의 기술에 대한 연구를 하는 것이 목적이다.

Border-based HSFI Algorithm for Hiding Sensitive Frequent Itemsets (민감한 빈발항목집합을 숨기기 위한 경계기반 HSFI 알고리즘)

  • This paper suggests the border based HSFI algorithm to hide sensitive frequent itemsets. Node formation of FP-Tree which is different from the previous one uses the border to minimize the impacts of nonsensitive frequent itemsets in hiding process, including the organization of sensitive and border information, and all transaction as well. As a result of applying HSFI algorithms, it is possible to be the example transaction database, by significantly reducing the lost items, it turns out that HSFI algorithm is more effective than the existing algorithm for maintaining the quality of more improved database.

  • Most previous work on network selection in heterogeneous wireless networks has concentrated on the quality of the network alone. Therefore, users are not satisfied with network quality based network selection due to different user preferences. To solve this problem, we proposes a QoE-aware network selection algorithm that is based on the consumption patterns of user preferences which is divided into normal user, cost-sensitive user, quality-sensitive user and video quality as well as network quality. As a result of experiments, cost-sensitive user and quality-sensitive user are satisfied with enhanced QoE by 36% and 3% from the proposed network selection algorithm compared to the normal user, respectively.

  • The goal of this study is to explore the factors that influence on intention to use UHDTV Service. Research problems has been designed to Structural equation model by Technology Acceptance Model. The Perceived quality, Price sensitivity, Innovativeness are adopted as independent variables. And Perceived usefulness, Perceived ease of use are adopted as intervening variables. A result of analysis, Perceived quality and Price sensitivity influenced the Intention to use via Perceived usefulness and Perceived ease of use. But in case of Innovativeness, it did not influence the Perceived usefulness while it influenced the Perceived ease of use. Meanwhile, the influence of Perceived quality to Perceived usefulness had more impact than the other path between the other factors.

  • Mutual savings banks have today met many difficulties because of various reasons. To overcome these difficulties, they have to change to be more customer centric and to adopt customer satisfaction management so that they can satisfy customers asking for diversified and professional service. This study aims to investigate the relationship between various dimensions of service quality and service performance such as customer satisfaction, customer trust, and repurchase intension. This study categorized service quality as interaction quality, outcome quality, and physical environment quality. Moreover, this study examined whether interest sensitivity and bank reputation had the moderating effects between service quality and service performance. The study results may provide practitioners and researchers in financial industry with some implications and guidelines for mutual savings banks' competitiveness.
