Effects of Membrane-filtered Powder of Sunmul on the Quality Characteristics of Noodles (막분리한 순물의 농축분말 첨가가 국수의 품질에 미치는 영향)

  • This study was conducted to investigate the quality characteristics of noodles prepared with the addition of nanofiltered (NF) powder of sunmul. Noodles were prepared with different levels $(0\%,\;1.5\%,\;3\%\;and\;5\%,\;w/w)$ of NF powder and physico-chemical properties were examined. Results of rapid visco analyzer showed that peak, trough, final viscosity and set back decreased as the NF powder level increased. The weight and volume of cooked noodles increased with the addition of NF powder. Turbidity of soup also increased as the amount of NF powder increased, indicating higher cooking loss. The color of wet and cooked noodles became greenish yellow as the NF powder level increased. Hardness, springiness, gumminess and brittleness of cooked noodles decreased with the increasing amount of NF powder. Results of sensory evaluation showed that noodles prepared with up to $3\%$ addition of NF powder was considered to be as acceptable as noodles prepared without NF powder.

Analysis of Commercial Organic Compost Manufactured with Livestock Manure (국내 유통중인 가축분퇴비의 품질 특성)

  • The contents of total nitrogen(T-N), phosphate($T-P_2O_5$), and potash($T-K_2O$) are important factors to determine the application rate of the livestock compost to prevent nutrients accumulation and maintain their appropriate levels in arable lands. The concentrations of nutrient, organic matter, salt, water content, heavy metal in livestock compost in circulation were investigated with 659 samples from 2016 to 2017. In order to investigate the fluctuation nutrient contents of livestock composts with the same product name, 19 samples were collected and analyzed T-N, and $T-P_2O_5$, and $T-K_2O$ concentration during two years. The mean levels of T-N, $T-P_2O_5$, and $T-K_2O$ in livestock composts of from 2016 to 2017 were 1.73%, 1.88%, and 1.66%, respectively. The average contents of organic matter, water, and salt were 38.9%, 40.9%, and 1.2%, respectively. There were found that the maximum concentrations of Cr, Ni, Cu, and Zn in some livestock composts were exceeded the criteria of the official standard of commercial fertilizer. The maximum variation coefficient of T-N, $T-P_2O_5$ and $T-K_2O$ content of livestock composts was found to be 24%, 27%, and 50% on average, respectively. In order to manage the nutrients in agricultural soils, it will be reasonable that the error range of T-N and $T-P_2O_5$ content in livestock composts should be recommended to be 27% in mean as variation coefficient in case of displaying the nutrient element in liverstock compost.

Perception of Eco-friendly Agricultural Products and Food Service Satisfaction of Elementary and Middle School Students According to Eco-friendly Food Service Day in Chungnam (충남지역 친환경 급식의 날 운영에 따른 초·중학생의 친환경 농산물에 대한 인식 및 급식만족도)

  • The superiority and safety of eco-friendly agricultural products are well-known. The purpose of this study is to provide fundamental data for creating a safe food culture, to improve the quality of school food services, and to increase student satisfaction with school food services. We compared the perception of eco-friendly agricultural products and food service satisfaction between students with and without exposure to a dedicated event for learning about eco-friendly products (an Eco-friendly Food Service Day) in elementary and middle school. When students were asked to define eco-friendly products, "organic products" was a highly frequent response in schools with an Eco-friendly Food Service Day, while "pesticide-free products" was a highly frequent response in school without this event. For most students, a factor in choosing eco-friendly products was a quality certification mark. Students from elementary schools with an Eco-friendly Food Service Day had a higher frequency of using eco-friendly agricultural products at home compared to students from schools without the event (p<0.01). In addition, the satisfaction with school food service was higher in schools with an Eco-friendly Food Service Day (p<0.05). These results suggest it is important to promote the use of superior and safe eco-friendly agricultural products while developing a variety of menus considering students' preferences.

  • This study aims to suggest a management system consisting of functional ingredients by establishing guidelines for the analysis of functional animal products in Korea. Further, the guidelines can be used for validity tests of functional animal products. In addition, we can standardize the management system for details, and frame new laws for functional animal products. We researched the current studies on the analysis and assessment of functional foods, and established standard methods of analysis. We devised new analysis and assessment techniques to determine the efficacy and safety of functional ingredients for the legislation and management of functional animal products. This study may contribute to not only the safety and quality of functional animal products but also to enhancing the nation's health and the national image as being health-oriented, through improvements in the productivity and quality of functional animal products.

  • 본 연구는 도심지에 위치한 LPG 충전소를 연구범위로 하여 공간정보의 활용이 가장 많이 요구되는 안전관리 분야의 업무를 중심으로 공간정보를 효율적으로 구축 활용하기 위하여 데이터베이스를 중심으로 위험관리정보 시스템을 개발하였다. 이를 바탕으로 정량적 위험성 평가의 자동화를 통해 나타난 위험성을 실시간에 제어하기 위한 필요조건을 표준화하여 기초 정보자료로 구축, 이를 지리정보기능과 연동하여 LPG 충전소의 안전검사의 효율화, 사전 위험성 평가, 사고대응 판단의 효과적인 의사결정을 유도 할 수 있는 기반을 제공한다. 위험관리정보시스템(RMIS, Risk Management Information System) 개발절차는 다음과 같다 첫째, 도심지에 위치한 LPG 충전소 위험성 평가를 수행함에 있어서 기본적인 데이터인 부지내(On-site) 관련 자료와 부지 외(Off-site) 관련 자료를 관계형 데이터베이스(RDB, Relational Database)로 개발하였다. 둘째, Visual Basic을 이용하여 사용자가 효과적으로 위험을 관리 제어 할 수 있는 위험관리 통합 데이터베이스 시스템 개발하였다. 셋째, 위험관리 통합 데이터베이스 시스템과 지리정보시스템에 연동을 통한 의사결정 방안 제시하였다. 위험관리정보시스템(RMIS) 프로그램을 개발을 통하여 다음과 같은 결과를 도출하였다. 첫째, 위험관리 데이터 이용하여 사용자와 검사자가 효과적으로 위험을 사전관리 할 수 있는 공유정보를 구축하였다. 둘째, 위험 관리를 부지 내와 부지 외로 나누어 관리함으로서 시설 내부 뿐 만 아니라 시설외부에 미치는 영향을 모두 고려하여 구축하므로 서, 중대사고에 대응 할 수 있는 종합적인 안전관리 기반을 조성하였다. 셋째, 사용자 인터페이스를 바탕으로 비상사태 발생시에 신속하고 정확한 의사결정을 할 수 있는 기반을 조성하였다. 제공하여 응용GIS 구축의 생산성 및 품질 향상에 기여할 뿐만 아니라 우리의 최종목표인 GIS 소프트웨어 자동 생산에도 크게 기여할 것으로 사료된다. 등)을 교통망상에 표시할 수 있음으로서 의사결정에 보다 많은 도움을 줄 수 있을 것이다. 비트율의 증가와 화질 열화는 각각 최대 1.32%와 최대 0.11dB로 무시할 수 있을 정도로 작음을 확인 하였다.을 알 수 있었다. 현지관측에 비해 막대한 비용과 시간을 절약할 수 있는 위성영상해석방법을 이용한 방법은 해양수질파악이 가능할 것으로 판단되며, GIS를 이용하여 다양하고 복잡한 자료를 데이터베이스화함으로써 가시화하고, 이를 기초로 공간분석을 실시함으로써 환경요소별 공간분포에 대한 파악을 통해 수치모형실험을 이용한 각종 환경영향의 평가 및 예측을 위한 기초자료로 이용이 가능할 것으로 사료된다.염총량관리 기본계획 시 구축된 모형 매개변수를 바탕으로 분석을 수행하였다. 일차오차분석을 이용하여 수리매개변수와 수질매개변수의 수질항목별 상대적 기여도를 파악해 본 결과, 수리매개변수는 DO, BOD, 유기질소, 유기인 모든 항목에 일정 정도의 상대적 기여도를 가지고 있는 것을 알 수 있었다. 이로부터 수질 모형의 적용 시 수리 매개변수 또한 수질 매개변수의 추정 시와 같이 보다 세심한 주의를 기울여 추정할 필요가 있을 것으로 판단된다.변화와 기흉 발생과의 인과관계를 확인하고 좀 더 구체화하기 위한 연구가 필요할 것이다.게 이루어질 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.는 초과수익률이 상승하지만, 이후로는 감소하므로, 반전거래전략을 활용하는 경우 주식투자기간은 24개월이하의 중단기가 적합함을 발견하였다. 이상의 행태적 측면과 투자성과측면의 실증결과를 통하여 한국주식시장에 있어서 시장수익률을 평균적으로 초과할 수 있는 거래전략은 존재하므로 이러한 전략을 개발 및 활용할 수 있으며, 특히, 한국주

  • Requirement traceability should be continuously maintained in software development and evolution. However, it is usually updated in practice in the quality assurance phase. The gap between "is" and "should" exists due to the fact that developers must invest considerable effort to update requirement traceability while being able to obtain only marginal benefit from the updated traceability. To close this gap, we propose a spreadsheet application that enables developers to flexibly change mappings in a requirement traceability matrix. In this way, developers can reduce their effort in updating the requirement traceability matrix, but still obtain the common form of a requirement traceability matrix on a spreadsheet. The proposed application maintains the mappings between two artifacts on each sheet so that, whenever an artifact item changes, developers can instantly insert the relevant mapping changes. Then, when developers desire the common form of a requirement traceability matrix, the proposed application calculates the mappings among several artifacts and creates the matrix. The application also checks traceability errors and calculates the metrics so that developers can understand the completeness of the matrix. To understand the applicability of the proposed approach, we conducted a case study, which shows that the proposed application can be applied to the real project and easily incorporate the mapping changes.

  • A growing diversity of pervasive devices is gaming access to the Internet and other information. However, much of the rich multimedia contents cannot be easily handled by the client devices because of the limited communication, processing, storage and display capabilities. The in-tegration of voice, data and video service modified the target of networking technologies. Networks must have some the capabilities for in-tegration of various services and also for QoS support as required by each of those service. Because of these reasons, we developed EAGIS(Efficient ATM Gateway for real time Internet Service) to provide seamless multimedia service between the ATM network and the Internet. EAGIS consists of the interworking unit, content server, transcoding server, and the serveice broker to provide seamless multimedia service be-tween the ATM network and the Internet. In this paper, we design the architecture and transcoding service scenario of the EAGIS. When the RTP is used for the bi-directional communication, transcoding time is configured by the time-stamp of RTCP. When HTTP is used for unidirec-tional communication, self-timer is used. By using these reference time, standard transcoding method is applicable according to the frame trans-mission rate and network traffic load. And we can also assure the QoS of the multiple users` effective bandwidth by our algorithm.

Performance Evaluation of PCR Kits for Detecting Genetically Modified Crop Ingredients (유전자 변형 작물 성분 검출용 PCR Kit의 성능 평가 연구)

  • The different social reflections about the benefits and the potential risks of genetically modified (GM) crops have evolved with .different reactions in different countries. Many countries including Korea are working toward setting down new guidelines. Korea requires companies to label all food that contains more than 3% GM ingredients. One of the rapid and convenient detection methods of GM ingredients is amplification of the introduced DNAs by polymerase chain reaction (PCR). Many PCR kits for this purpose are commercially available. The objective of this study was to evaluate performance of commercialized GM crop detection kits. The results showed that 6 out of 15 kits tested did not meet the requirements even purposed by the manufacturers themselves in terms of stability, reproducibility, and detection limits, suggesting a potential quality control problem in their design stage or production line. The evaluation also suggests that, although the duplex and triplex detection kits allowed unambiguous detection in a single PCR reaction, the monoplex detection kits were the most sensitive to the detection of GM ingredients. The detection limits also differ between soybean and corn. Results from this study will be useful in the development of sound qualitative tracking systems of GM ingredients for monitoring throughout the cultivation of GM crops, their trans-boundary movement, and food production using GM grains as well as for complying with government guidelines associated with GM crops.

  • This report is the result of devising a method for utilizing the device of the load cell to maintain a constant water content of the medium every day to prepare a cultural substrates with the mixer for growing mushrooms bottle cultivation. A load cell was device under the medium mixer. It is developed when the device reaches the weight calculated as amount of substrate bottled and number of the bottle, it is automatically terminated by water injection. In addition, measuring the water content of each medium and the total weight of the medium reaches the target moisture content were calculated by using the program Cheong et al. (2015). Enter the total weight of the medium on the display unit of the load cell, when starting the water supply to reach the weight-based mixing media, the water supply is stopped. This method can improve the convenience by reducing the user's trouble in repeated work medium prepared by automating water supply. The suitable moisture content of the mixed medium for some kind of mushroom can be improved by the composition accuracy. And mycelial culture period, primordial period, mushroom growing period is maintained even of the medium can be produced stably. Therefore, it is possible to achieve a stable management of the mushroom farm according to mushroom quality and quantity stable throughout the year.

A Study for the stability of chopped garlic quality (다진 마늘의 품질안정을 위한 연구)

  • Preservative effects of natural preservatives, citric acid and salt on chopped garlic were investigated. Citric acid was very effective for the repression of bacteria multiplying and browning of chopped garlic in 0.5%~1% concentration. Salt had an effect on the repression of bacteria multiplying and browning color of chopped garlic except for 1% NaCl. Synergy effect between citric acid and NaCl was also very good for the decreasing of bacteria multiplying and the maintaining of Hunter color of chopped garlic. Compounded effect among the GF, CA and ascorbic acid was somewhat proper in the sensory evaluation of chopped garlic. And the sensory evaluation score was best in chopping size 3mm(diameter) of chopped garlic and viscosity 4500cp. of chopped garlic.
