  • The paper has analyzed and summarized about the theoretical problem occurred in the CAQC, and has developed the learning model focused on the histogram as a case study. The range of study is to systematize the basic method of histogram generally used, and to make step by step procedures under the interactive relation with the improvement of the theory that must be added in case of the calculation by the aided of MS-Excel software. A histogram is the theory to understand the population distribution from which samples are extracted, so alternative methods are presented to estimate the population shape through an experiment and a practice. In order to enlarge the application area of the histogram in the factory, the theory of normal test, the criteria of process capability index and the probability calculation of PPM are added to the histogram. The learning model of CAQC education is proposed that is consistent with the target of histogram to control and search the cause of item defectives fast and correctly.

  • The purpose of this study is to understand the influence of customer-based brand equity(CBBE) on brand trust, customer satisfaction, and repurchase intention in the stock farm products brand, Hoengsung hanwoo. Based on a total of 301 samples obtained from empirical research, this study reviewed the reliability and fitness of the research model and verified a total of 5 hypotheses using the AMOS program. The hypothesized relationships in the model were tested simultaneously by using a structural equation model(SEM). The proposed model provided an adequate fit of the data, ${\chi}^2=635.175$(p<0.001), df=233, CMIN/DF=2.726, GFI=0.863, NFI=0.859, CFI=0.903, TLI=0.885, RMSEA=0.068. The model's fit, as indicated by these indexes, was deemed satisfactory, thus providing a good basis for testing the hypothesized paths. The SEM showed that the sublevels of CBBE of stock farm product brand such as perceived product quality(${\beta}=.562$) and brand image(${\beta}=.377$) had a positive significant influence on brand trust. In addition, brand trust had a positive significant influence on customer satisfaction(${\beta}=.525$) and repurchase intention(${\beta}=.669$). This study confirms that a firm brand management works as a significant factor in forming brand trust, and, as a result, has a positive impact on its consumer's satisfaction and repurchase intention. Through the studys' results, it is study proposed that there is a needs for establishing effective marketing strategies to improve of regional economies.

  • This study is designed to assess whether storyboard surrogates are useful enough to be utilized for indexing sources as well as for metadata elements using 12 sample videos and 14 participants. Study shows that first, the match rates of index terms and summaries are significantly different according to video types, which means storyboard surrogates are especially useful for the type of videos of conveying their meanings mainly through images. Second, participants could assign subject keywords and summaries to digital video, sacrificing a little loss of full video clips' match rates. Moreover, the match rate of index terms (0.45) is higher than that of summaries (0.40). This means storyboard surrogates could be more useful for indexing videos rather than summarizing them. The study suggests that 1)storyboard surrogates can be used as sources for indexing and abstracting digital videos; 2) using storyboard surrogates along with other metadata elements (e.g., text-based abstracts) can be more useful for users' relevance judgement; and 3)storyboard surrogates can be utilized as match sources of image-based queries. Finally, in order to improve storyboard surrogates quality, this study proposes future studies: constructing key frame extraction algorithms and designing key frame arrangement models.

  • Purpose: It is expected that various infrastructures diagnosis equipment will be needed as infrastructures management is strengthened to implement the Framework Act on Sustainable Infrastructure Management. It is necessary for a certification system to supply certified products of a reasonable level in accordance with market requirements for various convergence equipment. This paper deals with the introduction of certification system of inspection and diagnosis equipment for infrastructure using advanced technologies. Method: The basic elements, systems and procedures of certification system were reviewed through analyzing and comparing the existing similar certification system in Korea. In addition, a survey was conducted on a catalog method and the minimum performance criterion (sampling survey and complete enumeration survey) to equipment developers (manufacturers), clients and equipment users. Result: This survey showed that clients preferred complete enumeration method on the basis of minimum performance, and equipment users also preferred complete enumeration survey and sample survey, for minimum performance, at a similar rate. On the other hand, equipment developers preferred the catalog method. Conclusion: Clients and users who are the users of the diagnostic equipment preferred the minimum performance criterion because their trust in quality is important. On the other hand, developers(manufacturers) preferred the catalog method which adopts self certification because it is regulated in developing various products. There is no specific plan for the minimum performance standards required for the introduction of the method which users demand, at present. In addition, it is not desirable to force to introduce a certification system because it requires a considerable period of study to prepare the specific standards. Therefore, it is appropriate to operate the system for a certain period of time centering around the catalog method for the stable and continuous development of the infrastructure diagnosis and test equipment market in Korea. Also, it is effective to expand and develop the certification system to the extent that it minimizes the impact on the market when specific plans for the standards are prepared in the future.

  • Professional coffee shops are trying to increase customers' satisfaction and to invite more customers by providing the differentiated services. The existing researches show that the effects which the physical environment in shops has on customers' satisfaction and word of mouth intention are appealing to people's attention. In comprehensively examining the studies related to the physical environment, they can be summarized into two main perspectives, that is, the direct effect that the physical environment has on customers' satisfaction, quality perception, and other customers' responses (purchase desire, revisit intention, etc.) and the indirect effect that the physical environment has on customers' responses by means of customers' emotion or value perception. This research established 4 hypotheses by sampling 321 customers of those who have visited professional coffee shops, and empirically analyzed them. The empirical analysis carried out the structure analysis of covariance by using SPSS 17.0 statistics package and AMOS 17.0. As a result of the hypothesis qualification, the other hypotheses excluding one little hypothesis were adopted. The one refused hypothesis is that the only symbolism of the environmental elements in shops doesn't influence the customers' emotion positively (+). This is considered as a very unexpected result, and yet many customers who visit coffee shops express the symbols of professional coffee shops using the expressions such as 'bean coffee shop' or 'star coffee shop', but these expressions seem not to influence customers' mind positively in practice.

  • The objectives of this research are: to provide fundamental data for tourism policy and investigate medical tourism attributes by IPA(Importance-Performance Analysis) to attract Japanese medical tourists to Korea. Utilizing Japanese medical tourists as subjects of inquiry, this study evaluated the importance of medical tourism selection attributes and the rate at which these attributes were performed. Consequently, this study deduced 'convenience, service quality, differentiation, approximation' factors by factor analysis as well as the ranking among each selection attributes using T-test. The importance-performance analysis showed 'Concentrate Here' in quadrant I, 'Keep up the Good Work' in quadrant II, 'Low Priority' in quadrant III and 'Possible Overkill' in quadrant IV. The results show that "Concentrate Here" part in quadrant I is reservation procedure rapidity and information system simplicity. This means that these attributes are very important but they indicate low performance. Thus, concentration among tourism managers should be focused along these attributes. The study, then, suggests that employee who speaks Japanese fluently should be arranged during reservation procedure. Furthermore, Japanese class should become mandatory during basic employee training to improve reservation procedure rapidity. Moreover, clinic websites should concentrate on accessibility of Japanese users in such a way that they can consult their needs on line. Finally, managers should find diverse ways to bring about good service rapidly and conveniently.

  • In this study Cyclomatic Complexity of Web Software has been analyzed quantitatively by correlation between complexity and Number of Classes(NOC), and Number of Methods(NOM) which are object oriented programming measures. Based on the frequency distribution of complexity, NOC and NOM of software at the Web environment, correlation between complexity threshold and NOC threshold, and NOM threshold has been measured and more than 4,000 ASP files of 10 Web real projects have been used as the sample. The empirical result shows that NOC threshold is 21, NOM threshold is 40 and complexity threshold is 68 as high value, and 8 projects among of 10 except 2 projects with especially high frequency distribution shows that NOC threshold is 12, NOM threshold is 21 and complexity threshold is 52 with relatively low value, so correlation has been found out as exists. And also 8 projects with low threshold of complexity, NOC and NOM were internal management software, and the other 2 projects were external sales service software, Number of Classes and Number of Methods can be defined at the design stage according to business properties, and also the complexity can be estimated in order to improve the software quality.

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze products for good taste and convenience, which become an engine to constantly create customers. In addition, this study is aimed at investigating the relationship between the selective attributes of Home Meal Replacement, the perceived utilitarian value, and the repurchase intention, and drawing new suggestions on the Home Meal Replacement market from a new marketing perspective. Based on a total of 215 samples, this study reviewed the reliability and fitness of the research model and verified a total of 5 hypothesized using the Amos program. The result of study modeling was GFI=0.905, AGFI=0.849, NFI=0.889, CFI=0.945, and RMR=0.0.092 at the level of $x^2$=230.22 (df=126, p<0.001). First, the food quality (${\beta}$=0.221), convenience (${\beta}$=0.334), packing (${\beta}$=0.278), and employee service (${\beta}$=0.204) of home meal replacement consideration attributes had a positive (+) influence on perceived utilitarian value. Second, perceived utilitarian value (${\beta}$=0.584) had a positive (+) influence on repurchase intention. The factors to differentiate one company from other competitors in terms of the utilitarian value are the quality of food, convenience, wrapping, and services by employees. This study has illustrated the need to focus on the development of a premium menu to compete with other companies and to continue to research and develop nutritious foods that are easy to cook. Moreover, the key factors to have a distinct and constant competitive edge over other companies are the alleviation of consumer anxiety over wrapping container materials, the development of more designs, and the accumulation of service know-how. Therefore, it is necessary for a company to strongly develop the key factors based on its resources as a core capability.

  • Recently, as the online market has matured, it is facing many problems to prevent the growth. The most common problem is the homogenization of online products, which fails to increase the number of customers any more. Moreover, although the portion of the online market has increased significantly, it now becomes essential to expand offline for further development. In response, many online firms have recently sought to expand their businesses and marketing channels by securing offline spaces that can complement the limitations of online platforms, on top of their existing advantages of online channels. Based on their competitive advantage in terms of analyzing large volumes of customer data utilizing information technologies (e.g., big data and artificial intelligence), they are reinforcing their offline influence as well through this online for offline (O4O) business model. On the other hand, most of the existing research has primarily focused on online to offline (O2O) business model, and there is still a lack of research on O4O business models, which have been actively attempted in various industrial fields in recent years. Since a few of O4O-related studies have been conducted only in an experience marketing setting following a case study method, it is critical to conduct an empirical study on O4O selection attributes and their impact on customer satisfaction and loyalty. Therefore, focusing on China's representative O4O business model, 'Fresh Hema,' this study attempts to identify some key selection attributes specialized for O4O services from the customers' viewpoint and examine the impact of these attributes on customer satisfaction and loyalty. The results of the structural equation modeling (SEM) with 300 O4O (Fresh Hema) experienced customers, reveal that, out of seven O4O selection attributes, four (mobile app quality, mobile payment, product quality, and store facilities) have an impact on customer satisfaction, which also leads to customer loyalty (reuse intention, recommendation intention, and brand attachment). This study would help managers in an O4O area well adapt to rapidly changing customer needs and provide them with some guidelines for enhancing both customer satisfaction and loyalty by allocating more resources to more significant selection attributes, rather than less significant ones.
