우리가 쓰는 일상 언어 중에는 언어적 직관이 없는 사람은 의미 파악이 힘든 관용표현이 존재한다. 관용표현을 이해하기 위해서는 표현에 대한 형태적, 의미적 이해가 수반되어야 하기 때문이다. 기계도 마찬가지로 언어적 직관이 없기 때문에 관용표현에 대한 자연어 처리에는 어려움이 따른다. 특히 일반표현과 중의성 관계에 있는 관용표현의 특성이 고려되지 않은 채 문자적으로만 분석될 위험성이 높다. 본 연구에서는 '관용표현은 주변 문맥과의 관련성이 떨어진다'라는 가정을 중심으로 워드 임베딩을 활용한 관용표현과 일반표현에 대한 구분을 시도하였다. 실험은 4개 표현에 대해 이루어 졌으며 Skip-gram, Fasttext를 활용한 방법을 통해 관용표현은 주변 단어들과의 유사성이 떨어짐을 확인하였다.

컴퓨터 네트워크의 발달로 인터넷이 실생활이 되면서, 온라인에서 인스턴트 메신저를 이용한 커뮤니케이션 방식이 확대되고 있다. 이러한 메신저에서는 이모티콘 및 플래시콘 혹은 윙크 등 과 같은 다양한 방식을 통해 감정을 표현할 수 있도록 제안하고 있다. 하지만, 아직까지 온라인의 감정표현은 흥미위주이며, 오프라인의 다양한 감정표현에 비해서 제한적이다 따라서 오프라인에서의 다양한 사용자 감정표현을 온라인에서 표현해 줄 수 있는 새로운 형태의 감성 커뮤니케이션 방법이 필요하다. 본 연구에서는 온라인 인스턴트 메신저의 사용행태 이해를 통해서 사용자들의 요구사항을 파악하고 이를 통해 제안할 수 있는 커뮤니케이션 방법을 모색하고자 한다. 실생활에서 사용자의 감정표현 방법을 바탕으로 온라인 메신저에 적용하여 새로운 감성 커뮤니케이션 방법을 제안하는 연구로, 감정어휘와 표현방법의 사용자 조사를 통해 감정표현 방법에 대한 컨셉을 제안하였다. 우선 메신저 사용 행태와 요구사항 도출을 위한 사용자 FGI를 진행하였다. 사용자 FGI로 얻어진 사용자들의 메신저 사용행태를 통해, 텍스트와 모션을 활용하는 '텍스트콘'을 컨셉 아이디어로 도출하였다. 아이디어에 적용하기 위해 모션을 감정으로 인해 파생되는 행동과 체감각 요소로 구분하였다. 구체적인 표현방법 및 적용 요소를 추출하기 위한 방법으로 온라인 설문조사를 실시하였으며 감정어휘와 표현방법(행동, 체감각)을 추출하였다. 추출된 내용은 '사용자 참여 관찰' 기법을 활용하여, 사용어휘와 행동을 정리하고 구제화하여 그 결과를 '텍스트콘'에 적용하였다. 본 연구는 사용자들이 메신저를 이용한 감정표현에 있어 텍스트를 선호하고 텍스트에 대한 요구사형에 있음을 확인하였으며, 감정표현 컨셉 아이디어 '텍스트콘'을 도출하였다. '사용자 참여 관찰' 기법을 활용하여 기존의 이모티콘으로 대표되는 그래픽 아이콘 중심의 사용자 감정표현 방법을 보조해줄 수 있는 방법으로 실생활에서 사용자가 표현하고 받아들이는 신체언와 행동을 적용하였다는 것에 그 의의가 있다. 또한, 감정에 의한 생리적 반응 요소를 외적인 반응과 내적인 반응으로 구분하여, '체감각'이라고 하는 내적반응을 중심표현방법으로 삼아, 기존과는 다른 시각으로 접근할 수 있었다.

계조표현의 방법인 기존의 펄스폭에 의한 방법과 본 연구에서 수행한 4채널의 계조표현 방법에 대해 비교하였다. 펄스폭에 의한 계조표현은 동일한 전압에서 펄스의 폭을 제어하여 계조표현이 가능하며, 4채널의 계조표현은 두 개의 채널로 전극배선을 하여 제작한 소자에 black입자와 white입자를 주입하고 생성된 4개의 서브픽셀의 컬러를 순차적으로 변하도록 하여 계조표현하는 방법이다. 두 가지의 계조표현은 이미지의 구현방법과 지속시간의 차이점이 있다. 4채널의 계조표현이 4개의 서브픽셀을 구동하면, 또 다른 계조표현은 8채널의 계조표현방법으로 이 방법은 하나의 큰 셀에 4개의 서브셀을 만들어 각각 다른 weight를 가지도록 만들어 우수한 계조표현을 구현할 것으로 판단되어 제안하고자 한다.

참조 표현이란 영상 내의 특정 물체를 가리키는 자연어 문장을 의미한다. 그리고 이러한 자연어 참조 표현을 기초로, 한 영상에서 실제로 대상 물체의 영역을 찾아내는 일을 참조 표현 이해라고 한다. 본 논문은 참조 표현 이해를 위한 새로운 심층 신경망 모델과 학습 방법을 제안한다. 본 논문에서 제안하는 모델은 효과적인 참조 표현 이래를 위해, 참조 표현에서 언급하는 대상 물체와 보조 물체를 모두 고려할 뿐만 아니라, 두 물체간의 관계정보도 활용한다. 또한, 본 논문에서 제안하는 모델은 이러한 다양한 맥락 정보들을 참조 표현 의존적인 방식으로 가중 결합함으로써, 참조 표현에 부합하는 대상 물체 영역을 보다 정확히 탐지해낼 수 있도록 설계하였다. 본 논문에서는 대규모 참조 표현 데이터 집합인 Google RefExp를 이용한 성능 비교 실험들을 통해, 제안하는 모델의 우수성을 확인하였다.

The aim of copy writing is the communication between sender and receiver. The method of communication is language, which reflect the character of the culture of the community. And also the cultural difference owe to the linguistic difference. So, if we reflect this characters of the culture upon the copy of advertisement, it could be more effective. This is a study on Korean communicational expressions in the copy of advertisement. The copy is a communicational expression, the types of it differ the difference of culture and language. We can consider the type of Korean communicational expression as the expression of emotion, honors, authority, community, and passivity. In this study, we analyzed the real copy of advertisement, investigated how did the communicational expression appear in it and saw the result of analysis. we proposed next subjects in order to the more effective advertisement.

This paper describes a displacement mapping technique which represents protruded shapes on the surface of an object. Previous approaches for image-based displacement mapping can represent only shapes depressed from the polygon surface. The proposed technique can represent shapes protruded from the underlying surface in real-time. Two auxiliary surfaces which are perpendicular to the underlying surface are added along the boundary of the polygon surface, in order to represent the pixels which overflow over the boundary of the polygon surface. The proposed approach can represent accurate silhouette of protruded shape. It can represent not only smooth displacement of protruded shape, but also abrupt displacement such as perpendicular protrusion by means of adding the supplementary texture information to the steep surface of protruded shape. By per-pixel instructions on the programmable GPU this approach can be executed in real-time. It provides an effective solution for the representation of protruded shape such as high-rise buildings on the ground.

The purpose of this study is to examine the transition of mathematical representation in Joseon mathematics, which is focused on numbers and operations, letters and expressions. In Joseon mathematics, there had been two numeral systems, one by chinese character and the other by counting rods. These systems were changed into the decimal notation which used Indian-Arabic numerals in the late 19th century passing the stage of positional notation by Chinese character. The transition of the representation of operation and expressions was analogous to that of representation of numbers. In particular, Joseon mathematics represented the polynomials and equations by denoting the coefficients with counting rods. But the representation of European algebra was introduced in late Joseon Dynasty passing the transitional representation which used Chinese character. In conclusion, Joseon mathematics had the indigenous representation of numbers and mathematical symbols on our own. The transitional representation was found before the acceptance of European mathematical representations.

Cataloging principles, cataloging rules, and encoding formats should considered LRM acceptance because LRM replaced FRBR as the conceptual model. This study identifies considerations for BIBFRAME acceptance of expression and representative expression attributes in LRM by using literature reviews and expert interviews. Primarily, work in BIBFRAME without expression as entity could map to work and expression of LRM and sustain expression by linking 2 works (work and expression). Second, BIBFRAME must consider association between representative expression attributes and specific expressions whose values can be transferred to the representative expression attributes. Third, representative expression attributes are different according to work types in LRM, and language, media, intended audience, and scale, that can be used as representative expression attributes in BIBFRAME, should be changed in class. Fourth, relation properties should be articulated for expanding networks between expressions originated from work in BIBFRAME. This study analyzes LRM and BIBFRAME by focusing on expression entity and representative expression attributes. More LRM study is needed on cataloging principles and cataloging rules.

기존의 시공간 동기화에 대한 연구는 대부분 멀티미디어 객체의 시간 동기화와 공간 동기화에 관한 연구가 이루어져 왔다. 또한 시나리오의 시간적 정형화 표현 연구는 멀티미디어 객체의 프리젠테이션에 중점을 두었다. 본 논문은 기존의 연구를 바탕으로 게임 공간상의 객체 표현에 있어서 게임 시나리오를 기반으로 동기화 표현에 관한 연구이다. 본 논문에서는 새로 제안된 시간과 공간, 시공간 언명을 게임 시나리오에 적용하여 시공간 동기화에 대한 통합 방법을 표현하고자 한다. 또한, 시간과 공간, 시공간 공식의 언명을 시공간 동기화 표현 모델로 제시하여 정형화된 표현법으로 나타내었다.

현 연구에서는 음성합성의 기초자료 수집을 위하여 대화체 감정표현의 음성적인 패러미터를 찾아내려고 시도하였다. 이를 이하여 일단 가장 자주 사용되는 대화체 감정표현자료가 수집되었고 이들 표현을 발화할 때 가장 주의를 기울이는 발성의 특징들이 탐색되었다. 구어체적 감정표현의 타당한 데이터베이스를 작성하기 위하여 20대와 30대로 연령층을 구분하여 자료를 수집, 분석하였다. 그 결과 다양한 감정표현의 발화특성들은 음의 강도, 강도변화, 그리고 음색이 중요한 기준으로 작용하는 것으로 나타났다. 다차원분석 결과 산출된 20대와 30대의 음성표현이 도면은 개별정서들이 음성의 잠재차원 상에서 상당한 일관된 특징을 지님을 보여 주었다.
