모든 예술적 표현 활동은 서로 깊은 연관을 지니고 있으며, 복식 디자인 역시 예술적 표현 활동의 한 분야로서, 현대에 이르러 복식은 단순히 입는다는 개념을 탈피한 하나의 조형 예술로 인식되어지고 있다. 예술적 표현 활동은 조형 제작 활동의 주체인 인간이 예술적 표현의 의지를 사물로 객체화하는 과정에 있어서, 그 재료와 재료의 가공 기법을 통해 표현되는 활동이라고 말할 수 있다. 근자에 이르러 종이는 예술표현 활동에 있어서 진정한 표현 매재로 간주되고 있으며, 특히 종이를 예술적 표현을 위한 피동적 표면이라는 재료로서의 고정된 관념에서 탈피하여 입체적 조형이 시도되고, 이러한 종이의 입체로의 성형 가능성에 대한 발견은 조형 매체로서의 종이에 대한 새로운 시각을 제시하고 있다. 이에 본 연구는 종이 조형에 의해 표현되는 조형성을 복식에 적용시키기 위한 것으로서, 종이를 통한 조형성 표현의 여러 방법 중 특히 접기의 방법을 응용하여, 접기 기법의 조형요소로서의 특성과 인체와 결합하여 복식으로 이루어졌을 때 새로운 조형물로 인식되어질 수 있는 복식의 형태를 시도하였다. 작품은 접기 기법에 의해 형성되는 조형성을 복식을 응용하여, 복식에 대한 기하학적 조형성과 함께 새로운 실루엣과 이미지를 창출하며, 복식의 새로운 표현 영역의 확대를 위한 실물 작품으로 제작하였다.

It is obvious that the characteristics of the media are related with the visual expression found in film and video shots. It can be assumed that there would be unavoidable distortion when the space and objects are being framed into an image by the camera and that unavoidable distortion can be utilized for creative expression. Therefore the relationship among the shape of filming zone, the structure of the image, and the strategies of disposition of camera, actors, and objects were studied in accordance with expressional attempts found in film and video images. The classified cases of the expressions found in film and video was studied from the view of the dispositions and movements of the physical elements such as camera, actors, and objects which made the designated expression possible. Finally the organization of method to arrange of the elements used for film within film zone was resulted as the expressional directing methods for filming. Later the usefulness of the method was tested by the application of the method in educational procedure and the evaluation of the analysis of the students' results.

현 연구에서는 음성합성의 기초자료 수집을 위하여 대화체 감정표현의 음성적인 패러미터를 찾아내려고 시도하였다. 이를 이하여 일단 가장 자주 사용되는 대화체 감정표현자료가 수집되었고 이들 표현을 발화할 때 가장 주의를 기울이는 발성의 특징들이 탐색되었다. 구어체적 감정표현의 타당한 데이터베이스를 작성하기 위하여 20대와 30대로 연령층을 구분하여 자료를 수집, 분석하였다. 그 결과 다양한 감정표현의 발화특성들은 음의 강도, 강도변화, 그리고 음색이 중요한 기준으로 작용하는 것으로 나타났다. 다차원분석 결과 산출된 20대와 30대의 음성표현이 도면은 개별정서들이 음성의 잠재차원 상에서 상당한 일관된 특징을 지님을 보여 주었다.

Even though the importance of emotional aspects in design has been discussed and researched actively, researches mainly focusing on the emotional aspects expressed through architectural materials have been rare. Thus, Previous researches were investigated to draw typical categories to express emotional characteristics through architectural materiality. Case study shows Zumthor's practical methodologies in these state: tectonic expression with creative tectonic methods and local residents' voluntary-participation in construction; enhancement of intimate emotional ties with the local heritage through the usage of local materials and traditional construction techniques; coexistence of past and present materials, and showing the change of materiality via weathering; activation of synesthesia by touching multiple senses; sustainability by using environment friendly materials and construction methods. The results can be hopefully helpful to future researches related to emotional aspects on spatial design.

Reinterpretation of the visual characteristics of Korean folk painting in contemporary Korean painting is to seek directions of today's Korean painting. When examining expressions of contemporary painting we see that there is a reappearance of iconic images, a reinterpretation of both flatness and multi-perspectives, and an objectifying of pastiche folk icons with an experimental spirit. All of these techniques suggest methods of contemporary Korean painting through 'folk painting'. Although folk painting has been adopted in contemporary Korean painting for a long time, interest increased in the 1980s. With the prevailance of both national characteristic expressive techniques of realism and color painting, artists reinterpreted folk painting in their work, borrowing the traditional five colors, common contents, and iconic images. Particularly, an interest in 'Korean Beauty' drew people's interest back to folk painting which provided the significant 'Korean Beauty' of traditional expressive techniques. This study is to examine the characteristics of selected group of works that created a new expressive technique in today's Korean painting by either the reappearance or the reinterpreting of iconic images of the Chosun Dynasty's folk painting. To achieve these goals, the artists, who modify or reinterpret folk painting's visual characteristics with a contemporary sense, are divided into three categories in this study; 'The Readoption of the Folk Image', 'The Reinterpretation of Folk Characteristics', and 'Experimental Expressions'. As a result, it proves that folk painting is both a classical expression and national expression which was not only favored in the Chosun period, but also can be reinterpreted through today's visual methodology.

지금까지 상호 표현(reciprocal expressions)이나 상호성(reciprocity)의 개념에 대한 연구는 영어의 'each other'를 중심으로 이뤄졌다. 그런데 한국어의 상호 대명사 '서로'는 'each other'와 달리, 그 자체로 배분성(distributivity)을 갖지 않는다. 오히려 다양한 배분 표현들과 공기함으로써 상호성을 구체화한다. 특히, 배분적 양화사는 상호 표현이 쓰인 문장에 강한 상호성(strong reciprocity)을 부여한다. 이외에도 한국어의 상호성 실현에는 함께 쓰인 술어가 중요한 역할을 한다. 우선, 술어가 대칭적(symmetric)이거나, 상호 대명사(reciprocal)'서로'를 논항으로 취하면, 문장은 일차적으로 상호성을 갖게된다. 또한, 술어가 반가법(anti-additive)함수로서의 의미 특성을 갖는 경우는, 논항이 복수 연접 명사구로 구성되었을 때, 논항을 그룹(group)으로 해석하는 것을 선호한다. 본고는 상호성 술어(reciprocated predicates)와 배분적 양화사의 의미 기여를 중심으로, 한국어 상호 표현의 다양한 의미·통사적 특징을 밝히는 것을 목표로 하며, 이를 통해 상호성의 개념이 고정적이거나 문맥에 따라, 임의로 정해지는 무질서한 것이 아니라, 함께 쓰인 배분적 양화사나 술어의 의미 특성에 따라 합성적으로(compositionally) 실현되는 것임을 보이고자 하였다.

The purpose of this study is to identify the visual characteristics of image expression elements of contents based on hologram and to find ways to utilize hologram effectively. Therefore, I intend to analyze the characteristics and cases of hologram, and investigate efficient representation methods of hologram contents. As a research method, I considered the theoretical background of the hologram through the literature investigation and the precedent study related to the hologram technology, and derived the results from the case study analysis. The characteristics of expression of hologram contents are fusion of virtual and physical elements, interaction, visual extension of reality space. It becomes possible to produce scenes that were difficult to visualize, thereby enhancing the interest and immersion of the audience.

인간과 인공생명체(Artificial Life Systems)가 서로 커뮤니케이션을 진행하기 위하여 인공생명체는 자신이 의도한 바를 음성, 표정, 행동 등 다양한 방식을 통하여 표현할 수 있어야 한다. 특히 자신의 좋아함과 싫음 등 자율적인 감정을 표현할 수 있는 것은 인공생명체가 더욱 지능적이고 실제 생명체의 특성을 가지게 되는 중요한 전제조건이기도 하다. 위에서 언급한 인공생명체의 감정표현 특성을 구현하기 위하여 본 논문에서는 음성 속에 감정을 포함시키는 방법을 제안한다. 먼저 인간의 감정표현 음성데이터를 실제로 구축하고 이러한 음성데이터에서 감정을 표현하는데 사용되는 에너지, 지속시간, 피치(pitch) 등 특징을 추출한 후, 일반적인 음성에 위 과정에서 추출한 감정표현 특징을 적용하였으며 부가적인 주파수대역 필터링을 통해 기쁨, 슬픔, 화남, 두려움, 혐오, 놀람 등 6가지 감정을 표현할 수 있게 하였다. 감정표현을 위한 음성처리 알고리즘은 현재 음성합성에서 가장 널리 사용되고 있는 TD-PSOLA[1] 방법을 사용하였다.

본 연구는 대화형 인공지능이 비윤리적 표현을 학습하거나 생성하는 것을 방지하기 위한 기초적 연구로, 메신저 대화에 나타나는 단어 단위, 구 단위 이상의 비윤리적 표현을 수집하고 그 특성을 분석하였다. 비윤리적 표현은 '욕설, 혐오 및 차별 표현, 공격적 표현, 성적 표현'이 해당된다. 메신저 대화에 나타난 비윤리적 표현은 욕설이 가장 많은 비중을 차지했는데, 욕설에서는 비표준형뿐만 아니라 '존-', '미치다' 등과 같이 맥락을 고려하여 판단해야 하는 경우가 있다. 가장 높은 빈도로 나타난 욕설 '존나류, 씨발류, 새끼류'의 타입-토큰 비율(TTR)을 확인한 결과 '새끼류'의 TTR이 가장 높게 나타났다. 다음으로 메신저 대화에서는 공격적 표현이나 성적인 표현에 비해 혐오 및 차별 표현의 비중이 높았는데, '국적/인종'과 '젠더' 관련된 혐오 및 차별 표현이 특히 높게 나타났다. 혐오 및 차별 표현은 단어 단위보다는 구 단위 이상의 표현의 비중이 높았고 문장 단위로 떨어지기 보다는 대화 전체에 걸쳐 나타나는 것을 확인하였다. 따라서 혐오 및 차별 표현을 탐지하기 위해서는 단어 단위보다는 구 단위 이상 표현의 탐지에 대한 필요성이 있음을 학인하였다.
