Purpose: People with intellectual disabilities are vulnerable to the use of receptive and expressive vocabulary. The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect on the receptive vocabulary and the expressive vocabulary after teaching reading education to adults with intellectual disabilities living in facilities using picture fairy tales. Methods: The subjects of this study were 12 adults with intellectual disabilities under the age of 20 to 40 residing in residential facilities. They were divided into 6 test groups and 6 control groups, and gave a total of 12 sessions of 60 minutes per session, and reading instruction using picture fairy tales. Results: In the test group that conducted reading activities using picture fairy tales, the use of the receptive vocabulary was significantly improved, and the use of the expressive vocabulary was significantly improved. There were no significant results in all of the control groups. Conclusions: This study had the effect of improving the use of receptive vocabulary and expressive vocabulary after teaching reading using picture fairy tales for the disabled. It is estimated that this result will be the basis for research in this field.

본 논문은 언어장애인을 위한 통신보조기기의 구현에 관한 연구이다. 통신보조기기에 적용되는 어휘는 사용자의 환경을 고려하여 선택되어야 하며 사용자의 환경에는 연령, 교육정도, 가족관계, 자주 이용하는 장소, 장애의 종류와 정도 등 사용자의 정신적, 육체적 능력을 모두 포함하여야 한다. 본 논문에서는 손의 사용이 가능하고, 어휘와 의미심볼의 관게를 이해할 수 있으면서, 음성표현이 부자유스러운 어린이를 사용자로 한정하였다. 사용자에 의해 발훼된 어휘는 중심어휘와 특정환경을 나타내는 장소 도메인에서의 사용어휘로 나눌 수 있다. 중심어휘는 장소에 구애받지 않고 일상생활에서 널리 쓰이는 어휘를 말하며, 장소 도메인에서의 사용어휘로 나눌 수 있다. 중심어휘는 장소에 구애받지 않고 일상생활에서 널리 쓰이는 어휘를 말하며, 장소 도메인에서의 사용어휘는 특정 장소에서 빈번히 사용하는 어휘를 말한다. 발췌된 어휘는 휴대용 통신보조기기로서의 공간적 제약을 극복하기 위하여 어휘를 명사, 동사, 조사로 나누어 좀더 많은 문장을 만들 수 있도록 하였으며, 동적 시스템과 정적시스템의 장점을 고려하여 장소 도메인 별 어휘로 나누면서 의미함축의 원리를 도입하였다. 또한 어휘의 인식이 쉽도록 의미심볼과 어휘를 대응하여 표현하였고, 시스템의 기능 혹은 어휘분류에 따른 화면의 배경색을 다르게 설정하여 쉽게 사용자가 선택할 수 있도록 하였으며 , 사용자의 선택에 의해 구성된 문장은 화면표시관에 보여진 후 음성으로 표현하였다.

본 논문에서는 중간언어 설계의 일부분으로, 중간의미 표현을 위한 어휘지식 표현 방안에 관하여 논한다. 기존 중간언어들은 단어의 의미 구별법이 단순한 선택적 제한을 기반으로 하고 있으며, 시소러스체계도 단일하게 유지하고 있다. 따라서, 단어의 의미간 중첩성이 반영되지 못하고 단어의 창조적 사용(creative use)에 대한 대처능력도 떨어진다. 또한 단일 시소러스체계를 통해서는 단어들의 명확한 분류기준을 파악할 수가 없다. 이러한 어휘지식 표현체계의 문제점들을 극복하기 위한 해결책으로서 생성사전(Generative Lexicon)을 도입하고, 중간표현의 관계기호를 효과적으로 파악하기 위한 관점에서의 시소러스 분류체계를 제안한다. 또한 이 같은 어휘지식 표현체계를 이용하여 문장의 구문구조로부터 중간표현을 나타내는 과정을 제시한다.

The objective of the study is to find out the effects of toddler's temperament and mother's parenting behavior on the development of vocabulary ability. The study was conducted with 299 infants between the ages of 18 and 24 months and their mothers in 47 day care centers in I city, Jeollabukdo. The results of the study are as follows. First, according to the correlation between infant's temperament and vocabulary based on the composition of temperament, approach-avoidance, adaptability, and mood showed a negative correlation with receptive and expressive vocabulary, and response intensity showed a positive correlation with receptive vocabulary. Second, according to the relation between mother's parenting behavior and infant's vocabulary ability based on the sub-factors of mother's parenting behavior, instructional parenting behavior and setting-limits parenting behavior showed a positive correlation with receptive and expressive vocabulary. Third, according to the effects of infant's temperament and mother's parenting behavior on the development of infant's vocabulary ability, as for the understanding of vocabulary, the explanation power of approach-avoidance is the highest, followed by instructional parenting behavior, response intensity, and mood. As for expressive vocabulary, the explanation power of instructional parenting behavior is the highest, followed by mood, response intensity and activity. In the development of infant's vocabulary ability, it was found that receptive vocabulary was affected the most by approach-avoidance, and expressive vocabulary was affected the most by instructional parenting behavior. Mothers will have to have interrelation skills suitable for temperament for the development of infant's receptive vocabulary, and have parenting behavior expressing the traits of things and events for the development of expressive vocabulary.

In cyberspace based on internet, users constitute communities and interact one another. Avatar means not only the other self but also the 'another being' that describes oneself in the cyberspace. If user's avatar shows expressive faces and behaves according to his thinking and emotion, he will have a feel of reality much more in the cyberspace. If avatar's countenances can be animated by just typing characters in avatar-based chat communication, the user is able to express his emotions more effectively. In this study, emotion-expressing vocabulary is analyzed and classified. Emotion-expressing vocabulary is essential to develop self-reactive avatar system in which avatar's countenances are automatically converted according to the words typed by users at chat. The results are as follows; First, emotion-expressing vocabulary selected out of Korean adjectives and intransitive verbs is made up of 209 words and is classified into 25 groups. Second, there are only 2 groups out of the 25 groups for positive expressions and others are for negative expressions. Therefore, negative expressions are more abundant than positive expressions in Korean vocabulary. Third, avatar's countenances are modelled according to the 25 groups by using the Quantification Method 3. The result shows that the emotion-expressing vocabulary has dose relations with avatar's countenances and is useful to communicate users' emotions. However, this study has some limits, in that Korean linguistical structure - the whole meaning of context - cannot be interpreted quantitatively.

본 연구에서는 직물 디자인의 시각적 요소와 관련된 감성 모형을 제안하고, 아울러 감성 모형을 구성하는 과정에서 사용될 수 있ㅅ는 대안적인 방안을 제시하고자 한다. 이를 위해 설문 조사와 관련 잡지, 신문, 사전 등을 통한 광범위한 어휘 수집이 이뤄졌으며 수집된 어휘는 1,000여 개였다. 수집된 어휘에 대해 이해도 및 적절성 평가를 실시하여 직물 제품과 관련된 감성을 표현하기에 부적절하거나 이해하기 어려운 어휘들을 제거하여 360개의 감성 어휘로 정리하였다. 사용 빈도가 높은 어휘 108개를 이용하여 자유 연상과제를 실시하였으며 그결과 어휘들 간 관계에 대한 연결망을 그려낼 수 있었다. 어휘망에서 중심적인 대표어 역할을 하는 18개 어휘를 추출하여 1차로 유사성평정을 실시하였으며 다차원 척도법으로 분석한 결과 어휘들 간 관계를 표현하기 위해 필요한 차원은 네 개였다. 1차로 구성된 모형의 타당성을 확인하기 위해 추가로 각각 20개씩의 어휘를 새로이 추출하여 2회에 걸쳐 유사성 평정을 실시한 결과, 직물 디자인의 시각적 요소와 관련된 감성을 모형화하기 위해서는 세 개차원이면 충분하다고 생각된다.

Objective: The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of the Power Card strategy on the receptive vocabulary and expressive vocabulary in children with autism spectrum disorders. Method: Three children with autism spectrum disorder were selected for this study and the power card strategy language intervention was applied, using a multiple baseline design across individuals. The target vocabulary was selected by examining the individual preferred characters. Power cards were constructed, and intervention was applied to improve the receptive vocabulary and expressive vocabulary through the baseline stage, intervention, and maintenance. Result: The application of the power card strategy showed that the acquisition rate of receptive vocabulary in children with autism spectrum disorder was increased, and expressive vocabulary acquisition rate was also improved. Conclusion: During the intervention period using the power card strategy, the children's target receptive vocabulary and expressive vocabulary acquisition rates improved, and the acquisition rate was maintained, even after the intervention. This suggests that the power card strategy is effective in improving the vocabulary of autistic children with disabilities, of school age.

The pseudo relevance feedback suggests that frequent words at the top documents are related to initial query. However, the main drawback associated with the term frequency method is the fact that it relies on feature independence, and disregards any dependencies that may exist between words in the text. In this paper, we propose query expansion based on word graph using term proximity. It supplements term frequency method. On TREC WT10g test collection, experimental results in MAP(Mean Average Precision) show that the proposed method achieved 6.4% improvement over language model.

인공 신경망 기반 자연어 처리 시스템들에서 단어를 벡터로 변환할 때, 크게 색인 및 순람표를 이용하는 방법과 합성곱 신경망이나 회귀 신경망을 이용하는 방법이 있다. 이 때, 전자의 방법을 사용하려면 시스템이 수용 가능한 어휘집이 정의되어 있어야 하며 새로운 단어를 어휘집에 추가하기 어렵다. 반면 후자의 방법을 사용하면 단어를 구성하는 문자들을 바탕으로 벡터 표현을 생성하기 때문에 어휘집이 필요하지 않지만, 추가적인 인공 신경망 구조가 필요하기 때문에 모델의 복잡도와 파라미터의 수가 증가한다는 단점이 있다. 본 연구에서는 위 두 방법의 한계를 극복하고자 Bag of Characters를 응용하여 단어를 구성하는 문자들의 집합을 바탕으로 벡터 표현을 생성하는 방법을 제안한다. 제안된 방법은 문자를 기반으로 동작하기 때문에 어휘집을 정의할 필요가 없으며, 인공 신경망 구조가 사용되지 않기 때문에 시스템의 복잡도도 증가시키지 않는다. 또한, 단어의 벡터 표현에 단어를 구성하는 문자들의 정보가 반영되기 때문에 Out-Of-Vocabulary 단어에 대한 성능도 어휘집을 사용하는 방법보다 우수할 것으로 기대된다.

The purpose of this study is to suggest a direction for efficient teaching and learning idiomatic expressions in Korean to improve the vocabulary of Korean language learners. In order to make learning more interesting and enhance learning effectiveness for Korean language learners, the drama, , which was popular in Korea, was used as educational material. Since idomatic language is formed and used based on Korean history, culture, and social background, dramas containing Korean culture and sentiments can be said to be suitable materials for the teaching and learning of Korean idiomatic expressions. By analyzing the drama , 277 significant vocabularies were extracted from the drama based on vocabulary actually used. Among these, 124 idiomatic expressions were extracted after excluding overlapping expressions. Idiomatic expressions extracted in this way were classified based on vocabulary used more than 2 times. In addition, in order to select idiomatic expressions suitable for the level of the learners, 46 final expressions for Korean language education were selected considering the difficulty of vocabulary. Lastly, when the materials selected in the drama were used for education, the precautions for teaching and learning, and the direction of education on idiomatic language were classified into elementary, intermediate, and advanced grades and presented.
