Consciousness and Behavior of the Radiation Safety Management by Clinical Pathologists (임상병리사의 방사선안전관리에 대한 고찰)

  • 이 연구는 동위원소실에 근무하는 임상병리사들의 방사선 방어에 대한 지식, 태도 및 행위수준을 조사하여 상관관계를 파악하고 방사선 안전관리에 대한 행위에 영향을 미치는 요인을 분석하기 위해 시행하였다. 설문지는 2010년 10월부터 11월까지 대전 충청권 및 서울 경기권 동위원소실 임상병리사를 연구 대상자로 하여 연구자자 임의로 선정 직접설문, 또는 우편방식으로 조사하였고, 수집된 자료는 SPSS12.0 프로그램을 이용하여 빈도와 백분율, T-검정, ANOVA, 다중회귀분석법을 이용하여 분석하였다. 방사선 안전관리에 대한 지식 점수는 평균은 11.5점이었으며 표준편차는 ${\pm}$1.9 분포를 보였다. 방사선 안전관리에 대한 태도 점수는 평균 69.0점, 표준편차는 ${\pm}$5.4이었다. 방사선 방어에 대한 행위점수는 평균은 57.1점, 표준편차 ${\pm}$3.5이었다. 방사선 안전관리 행위에 있어 이론적으로 알고 있는 내용에 비해 수행이 현저히 떨어진 결과가 나왔으며, 방사선 안전관리에 대한 지식, 태도, 행위와의 상관성은 통계적으로 유의한 상관관계를 보였다(p<0.01). 행위점수에 영향을 미치는 요인으로는 종사자법정교육, RI 면허취득, 지식, 태도로 나타났다. 결론적으로 동위원소실에 근무하는 임상병리사의 방사성동위원소 안전관리 행위는 태도에 비하여 수행이 현저히 떨어진 결과가 나왔고, 안전관리 행위에 영향을 주는 인자로 종사자법정교육, RI 면허취득, 지식점수, 태도점수를 알 수 있었다. 업무 진행에 있어 잘못된 지식의 습득 및 태도를 취할 수 있는 가능성이 충분히 있으며 이를 바로 잡을 수 있도록 안전관리에 대한 지속적인 교육을 실시함과 더불어 RI면허 취득, 방사선 종사자에게 교육의 효과를 더욱 높이기 위한 적절한 교육 자료의 개발이 필요하다고 할 수 있다.

  • In this study, we estimate the effect of ability grouping on mathematics achievement empirically. We use propensity score matching(PSM) method to minimize selection bias and estimate the effect of ability grouping on the mathematics standard score of Scholastic Ability Test with the KELS(Korea Education Longitudinal Study) 6th stage data. The result indicated that relationship between ability grouping and mathematics achievement is positive and Policy efforts is needed to operate ability grouping effectively.

A statistical model for interview score based on projection (사영에 근거한 면접 점수의 통계적 모형)

  • In this study, we propose a statistical model based on projection that generates interview scores. In this model, each interviewee's true score and its related variable are viewed as X, Y values respectively in the two dimensional plane, and each interviewer's score is the projected score of true score X to the axis rotated by some angle, which reflects the interviewer's perspective. Each interviewer's observed interview score is obtained by adding personal bias and observed error to this projected score. We compared commonly used standardizing methods of interview scores such as trimmed mean method, rank method, and z-score method based on the proposed statistical model. In this simulation, two types of interview methods, two numbers of interviewers, two degrees of interviewers' expertise and two distributions and three correlations between actual score and its related variable are all considered.

Predictors for Standard Precautions Compliance in Healthcare-Associated Infection Control among Nursing students (간호대학생의 감염관리 표준주의 수행에 영향을 미치는 요인)

  • The purposes of this study were to investigate knowledge, attitude, subjective norms, perceived behavior control, behavioral intention, and compliance of standard precautions (SPs) in healthcare-associated infection (HAI) control among nursing students and to identify influencing factors for SPs compliance in HAI control. A descriptive correlation study was conducted. Participants were 223 nursing students recruited from three universities in a metropolitan city. Data were collected by self-administered questionnaires. On average, 87.0% of the knowledge questions were answered correctly. The mean SPs compliance score was 4.30 out of 5. There was no significant correlation between SPs knowledge and compliance. There were statistically significant correlation between SPs compliance and attitude, subjective norms, perceived behavior control and behavior intention. Perceived behavior control and behavior intention were significant predictors for SPs compliance among nursing students and these two variables explained 21.9% variance of SPs compliance among nursing students. Although, nursing students' SPs knowledge and compliance were acceptable level, their perceived behavior control was relatively low. SPs compliance among nursing students can be enhanced by increasing their behavior intention and perceived behavioral control. Education program for SPs in HAI control for nursing students which is designed with appropriated educational strategies is need to be developed and evaluated to enhance their capacity to deal effective and safe clinical practice.

  • 본 연구는 아날로그 신호를 사용하는 공중교환 전화망과 접속되는 그룹 3(G3) 팩시밀리의 화상 품질을 측정하는 방법을 제시하였다. CCITT(현 ITU-TS) 표준시험 도표 No.2를 이용하여 전송된 화상에 대한 평가는 설문조사를 통해 평가되었고, 그것들은 MOS(Mean Opinion Score) 방법에 의해 계량화되었다. 설문지의 결과에 대한 상관 분석을 통해 문항을 하나의 종합 평가 문항으로 줄일 수 있음을 살펴보았다. 그리고 그 점수들의 평균들에 대한 차이를 분석함으로써 팩시밀리 화상 품질에 영향을 미치는 요인들의 유의성을 검정하였다. 유의성을 검정하는 방법들로 t 검정법과 Vander Waerden Scores 방법을 제시하였다. 그리고 검정 결과 점수 평균이 유의하지 않은 그룹들을 하나의 그룹으로 하여 그 그룹에 있어서 점수 히스토그램을 구하였다. 이 히스토그램을 하나의 정규 분포 곡선으로 근사시켜 팩시밀리 화상 품질 평가치를 살펴보았다.

CORRELATION STUDY BETWEEN THE SCORES OF KEDI-WISC SUBSCALES AND THE SCORES OF ADS VARIABLES (KEDI-WISC의 각 소검사 점수와 ADS 점수간의 상관관계 연구)

  • Objectives : The present study was conducted to investigate a correlation of ADS and KEDI-WISC measures. Methods : The data of 91 children were used. On KEDI-WISC, PIQ, VIQ, and 11 subtest measures, and on ADS, 4 variables (ommission error rate, commission error rate, response time mean, and response time deviation) were analyzed. Results : The correlations of Ommission Error Rate and Coding, Digit Span, and Arithmetic, the correlations of Commission Error Rate and Object assembly, Picture Completion, Arithmetic, Digit Span, and Coding, the correations of Response Time Mean and Coding, and the correlations of Response Time Deviation and PIQ, and Coding were significant. Conclusion : ADS variables and several IQ scores are significantly related.

Current and Future Operation of Menu Management in the School Foodservices of Chungbuk (1) - Menu Planning - (충북지역 학교급식 영양(교)사의 식단관리 운영실태 및 개선방안(1) - 식단계획 -)

  • This research aimed to suggest an efficient improvement plan for school food services by investigating the operating situation and recognition of menu management in school food services for school food service dietitians (and nutrition teachers) in Chungbuk. A total of 328 questionnaires were distributed to school food service dietitians (and nutrition teachers) in Chungbuk by e-mail in September, 2010. A total of 265 questionnaires (80.8%) were used for the analysis. The highest allocation of nutrients and calories per day in school food services was 1:1.5:1.5 (breakfast : lunch : dinner) (38.5%). The reasoning for applying a flexible allocation of nutrients and calories per day was 'considering the ratio of students who do not eat breakfast' (59.2%). And the way to apply the flexible allocation for nutrients and calories per day was 'by agreement from the school operating committee in arbitrary data without situation surveys' (86 respondents, 49.4%), and 'by agreement from the school operating committee in analysis data through situation surveys' (80 respondents, 46.0%). The operational method of standardized recipes was 'cooking management site of national education information systems' (87.5%) and the items included in standardized recipes were menu name, food material name, portion size, cooking method, nutrition analysis, and critical control point in HACCP. The main reason for not utilizing all items of a cooking management site of the national education information system was 'no big trouble in menu management even though it is used partly (29.1%). In addition, the highest use of standardized recipe was for 'maintaining consistency of food production quantity' (74.0%).

The Comparison of Knee Joint Displaying between The Anteroposterior Weight Bearing View and the Metatarsophalangeal View with Osteoarthritis Patients (골관절염 환자의 촬영방법에 대한 고찰 : AP-WB(Weight-bearing AP), MTP(semiflexed) 촬영법의 비교 고찰을 중심으로)

  • Objective : The aim of this study was to compare the knee joint displaying between the anteroposterior weight bearing(AP-WB) View and the metatarsophalangeal(MTP) view for assessing joint space narrowing(JSN) and osteophytes in osteoarthritis patients. Subjects and Materials : Two hundreds of twenty patients(38 men) who came rheumatoid caused by knee pain, had both AP-WB and MTP views taken on a day. Radiographs were evaluated independently by 13 experienced observers(3 orthopedics surgeon, 2 rheumatogist, 3 radiologist, 5 radiological technologist) They assessed JSN and osteophytes using by PACS monitor JSN was scored by the optic evaluation to the nearest at the narrowest point in medial compartments of the tibiofemoral joint in both knees. Osteophytes were graded 0 to 3(bad 0, not bad 1, good 2 and very good 3) according to a standard atlas. All exam was using by Philips(Buckey Diagnostic-TH) X-ray material. Exposure condition was 60 kv, 8 mAs and 100 cm focus to film distance. Results : JSN was scored $1.32{\pm}0.050$ in AP-WB view, $2.51{\pm}0.046$ in MTP view. MTP view of JSN score is higher to AP-WB view significantly(p<0.05). Osteophytes scored $2.14{\pm}0.054$ in AP-WB view, $2.10{\pm}0.054$ in MTP view. There was no difference(p<0.05) between MTP view and AP-WB view in osteophytes. But MTP view was more reproducible than AP-WB view Conclusions : Joint space narrowing is most important factor to diagnosis with knee joint Osteoarthritis patients. This study was summarized as follows; In comparision of JSN, MTP view was more widely displayed than AP-WB view. In comparision of Osteophytes, there was no difference between MTP view and AP-WB view. It was concluded MTP view was more useful method to diagnosis of knee joint Osteoarthritis patients.

A Study on Preference to Korean Spicy Fish Soups by Questionnaire Methods in Busan and Development of a Standardized Recipe (부산지역 생선횟집을 중심으로 생선 매운탕 소비실태 및 최적 조리법 확립)

  • A study on sliced raw fish consumption was conducted on 300 citizens of Busan (89 men and 192 women), attending high school and university, housekeepers and employees. A self-administered questionnaire was used to record the results. The results were as follows: 93 percent of the respondents appeared to like or not be reluctant to eating Maeun-Tang. Most of the panelists had eaten at a seafood restaurant. The taste of Maeun-Tang varied differently by the spicy fish soup recipe. 56 percent of the respondents appeared to want this dish to have a fiery taste. Therefore, 89 percent of the respondents appeared to desire Maun-Tang to have a standardized recipe. The qualities of four kinds of stock made of water (A recipe), anchovy added with sea tangle (B recipe), fish bone (C recipe) and vegetable (D recipe) were investigated by using sensory evaluation and instrumental analysis for amino acids and nucleotides. The C recipe score was 80.9${\pm}$15.9 and D, B recipe was $75.7{\pm}17.1$, $75.4{\pm}17.2$, respectively. The A recipe score was $61.8{\pm}22.8$. The Degree of smooth taste were D recipe >A recipe >B recipe>C recipe. The Degree of spicy taste were C recipe >B recipe >D recipe>A recipe. In sensory evaluation, the C recipe obtained the highest score for overall preference. However, no difference of extractive nitrogen content, nucleotide and amino acid contest were observed in the C recipe after cook of Maeun-Tang.

A Study on Projection for Apophyseal Joints Diagnosis in X-ray Thoracic Bone Oblique Projection (X-ray 등뼈의 사위 촬영에서 돌기사이관절의 진단을 위한 촬영법 연구)

  • This Study Rreceived Subjective Evaluation ROC Evaluation from five projection. of projection. at a University Hospital to Obtain and Diagnose Sharp images of apophyseal joints and Vertral arch of Thoracic vertebrae from thoracic X-ray projection. In the Subjective evaluation, the highest Score was obtained by raising the phantom from Supine to LAO by 70° and scoring 20 points at 5° with the X-ray Tube facing the head. In addition, he scored the highest score of 19 points at 8° with the Prone Phantom standing 60° with RAO and the X-ray Tube facing the head. For Objective Evaluation, the Signal-to-noise ratio, was calculated. ROI was set at 1,564 mm2 to obtain the image signal average value (Mean value) and the Standard deviation (SD value). Objective Evaluation The signal-to-noise ratio, was the highest at 5° toward the head in the LPO 70° position of the phantom in the lying position of the Thoracic spine projection, and the Thoracic Spine was the highest at 8° toward the head of the RAO posture of 5,645.
