The advent of the internet has caused a number of changes in production and dissemination of science and technology information(STI). STI was mainly produced in the form of publication before the advent of the internet. The popularization of the internet, however, has induced the mass production and distribution of STI through the internet. In consequence, the importance and usefulness of on-line STI have become on a level with those of published STI. The rapid growth of quantity and quality of on-line STI forces information service organizations try their best for improving the service satisfaction. In an effort to improve the satisfaction, researchers on information management examined the classification of information resources by exploring the counterparts of bibliography and/or web information service. We examined the national standard of the classification related to science and technology and proposed a practical scheme for the classification of on-line STI resources.

과학기술테이터는 엄격한 평가기준에 의해 신뢰성과 정확성이 보장된 참조표준(standard reference data)값을 지닐 수 있어야 한다. 참조표준은 측정표준을 바탕으로 구하여진 결과 값을 표준화시키는 작업으로서 테잍의 생산조건, 실험환경, 측정방법, 데이터 처리 등이 검토되어 참조데이터(reference data)와 구분된다. 참조표준은 '공인된 수치데이터'로 표현되고 이는 측정결과의 신뢰도를 정량적으로 나타내는 불확도(uncertainty)로 표기된다.본고에서는 참조표준에 대한 의미를 이해하고,평가되지 않은 과학기술 데이터가 어떤 평가 과정을 거쳐 참조표준으로 분류되는지를 알아보기 위해 소재물성분야를 예로 살펴보았다.

SQL은 관계형 DBMS에서 사용되는 표준 질의 언어이다. SQL의 장점 중의 하나는 중첩 질의의 사용이나, 중첩질의를 포함한 질의를 그대로 실행하는 것은 중첩 질의의 반복된 수행을 야기하여 비효율적이다. 본 논문에서는 SQL3 표준에 정의된 모든 유형의 중첩 질의에 대한 완전한 정규화 규칙을 제안한다. SQL3 표준에서 중첩질의는 중첩 질의 반환 값의 유형에 따라 스칼라 중첩 질의와 테이블 중첩 질의로 분류된다. 스칼라 중첩 질의와 테이블 중첩 질의는 상관과 집계의 유무에 따라 다시 분류될 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 SELECT, FROM, WHERE 절에서 이러한 분류에 의해 가능한 모든 중첩 유형을 지원한다. 특히, SELECT, FROM 절의 일부 중첩 유형은 SQL3와 유사한 형태의 중첩 질의를 지원하는 질의 언어인 XQuery에서 제안된 정규화 규칙을 SQL3 문법에 맞게 응용하여 적용한다.

정보사회의 도래로 교육분야에서도 정보공유를 위한 많은 방안들이 제시되고 있다. 인터넷을 통해 전달되는 교육자료의 양은 나날이 증가하고 있지만 정보생산자들이 일정한 표준 없이 나름대로의 기준에 따라 정보를 유통시키고 있기 때문에 이용자가 필요한 정보를 정확하게 찾아내기란 매우 어려운 실정이다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 인터넷 자원 중에서도 교육자료를 서비스하고 있는 16개 시 도 교육청 및 산하 기관들의 홈페이지 분류체계를 분석하고, 자료의 실제 이용자 및 공급자에 대한 요구자료를 최대한 수렴하여 사실표준에 기초한 교육자료 분류체계를 제안하고자 한다.

The various technologies of the science and technology field were systematized to manage information, personnel and R&D activities related to S&T effectively. The resulting “National Standard Science and Technology Classification” which were composed of 19 areas, 160 divisions and 1,023 categories could contribute to establish rational S&T policy. “National Standard Science and Technology Classification” is synthetic in national level because they include all areas of S&T activities. 5 criteria, which were inclusiveness, exclusiveness, likeness, scale and universality, were used to exert every effort in including the opinion of all experts and to consider harmony between S&T areas. In addition, “National Standard Science and Technology Classification” was prepared to be interchangeable with various classification which were used in other R&D management institutes under the different ministries.

Ministry of Science and Technology(MOST) has a plan to establish the National Science and Technology Information System(NTIS). For successful NTIS, there are three pre-standardizations. Standard classification is the one of the three standardizations. In this paper, the validity of current National Standard Classification of Science and Technology(NSCST) is analyzed for three aspects. One is the duplication of NSCST, one another is the high ratio of incorrectness of information changed by mapping table and the last is the incorrectness of the mapping table itself. So for the successful NTIS a new Science and Technology Classicication shoud be considered.

This Paper classified korean Parts-of-speech for korean-english machine translation and investigated morphological characters of each parts-of-speech. Korean standard grammar classified parts-of-speech by semantic, functional and formal character. Many rules make a difficulties the understanding of grammar structure and parts-of-speech classification and it is necessary to preprocess at machine translation. This paper classified korean parts-of-speech by one rule. The parts-of-speech suggested in this paper have a same syntactic role and same parts-of-speech with english dictionary, and express the structure of korean sentence. And also it can make target language by pattern matching in korean-english translation.

The systematic classification of database technologies is being much debated issue currently in the telecommunication and database industry. Such a rapid requirement toward standard classification model will enable many experts to characterize database technologies. The purpose of this study is to obtain a general overview and suggest a draft for the development of standard model associated with classification. This presented model is concentrating on information and database system. This presentation is catalogued by 5 subjects such as : general overview, information distribution, information retrieval systems, database systems, peripheral aspects related to database.

본 논문은 정보시스템 보안관리에 대한 개념적 모형을 INFORSEC 및 한국전산원이 제시한 모형을 중심으로 기술했으며 보안관리의 표준적인 분류체계를 근거로 BDSS의 위협. 자산, 취약성의 분류체계를 비교함으로써 위협, 자산, 취약성의 관련성을 탐색 하고자 했다. 특히 위협의 원천과 가해자 측면에서 BDSS와 CRAMM의 경우를 비교함으로써 분류체계의 장단점을 파악하고자 했다.

With the development of the internet and international agreements such as the Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD) and the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species (CITES), Korean researchers frequently encounter scientific names of foreign species, and these are named on a case-by-case basis in Korean without any standard naming method. Therefore, standard Korean names for entire orders and families in the world are required for better communications in Korea. However, there have been no comprehensive discussions of the standardization of Korean names for the orders and families found in the world. In this study, we 1) compare the Korean names of orders and families in the references, 2) discuss naming methods in Korean for foreign taxa, and 3) then suggest standard Korean names for the orders and families in the APG III, which is an up-to-date angiosperm classification system. This study will be a starting point for the national standardization of Korean names for orders and families found throughout the world.
