A Study on the Target Tracking Algorithm based on the Target Size Estimation at CCD & IIR Image Sequence (IIR과 CCD 영상 융합 환경의 표적 크기추정기술을 사용한 추적성능 개선 연구)

  • In this paper, we propose a F-MBE algorithm for Dual mode seeker (CCD and IIR). The MBE algorithm show improved performance at the IIR target size estimation. but the MBE can't use at Dual Mode seeker. To overcome this problem,, we apply template matching method for CCD target size information. The performance of proposed F-MBE method is tested at target intercept scenario of dual mode seeker equipped missile. The experiment results show that the proposed algorithm has the relatively improved performance.

A Target State Estimator Design to Improve the Gun Driving Command (포 구동명령 개선을 위한 표적상태 추정기 설계)

  • This paper presents a target sate estimator(TSE) with low pass filter for improving the gun driving command. The ballistic computer uses target information such as predicted range, velocity, acceleration of a target to generate the gun command. We adopt the finite impulse response(FIR) filter as our TSE to shorten calculation time for the driving command and due to its inherent stability property. We also introduce a post-processing filter to reduce the high frequency components in the output signal of a TSE which may cause instability of gun driving. The first order low pass filter has been designed based on $H{\infty}$ criteria considering the noise characteristics. To show the validity of the present scheme, simulation results are given for the overall gun driving system including aircraft target information.

  • A new interacting multiple model (IMM) method using genetic algorithm (GA)-based intelligent input estimation(IIE) is proposed to track a maneuvering target. In the proposed method, the acceleration level for each sub-model is determined by IIE-the estimation of the unknown acceleration input by a fuzzy system using the relation between maneuvering filter residual and non-maneuvering one. The GA is utilized to optimize a fuzzy system fur a sub-model within a fixed range of acceleration input. Then, multiple models are composed of these fuzzy systems, which are optimized for different ranges of acceleration input. In computer simulation for an incoming ballistic missile, the tracking performance of the proposed method is compared with those of the input estimation(IE) technique and the adaptive interacting multiple model (AIMM) method.

M2의 예측력(豫測力) 약화(弱化)와 정책목표(政策目標)의 불안정성(不安定性) -1980년 이후(以後) 우리나라 통화신용정책(通貨信用政策)에 관한 연구(硏究)-

  • 80년 이후 최근까지의 우리나라 통화정책과 관련하여 세 가지 질문을 던지고 그에 대한 답을 찾고자 하는 것이 본 논문의 목적이다. 첫 번째 질문은, '중간표적으로 이용되어온 M2의 물가와 산출량에 대한 예측력은 어떻게 변하여왔는가' 하는 것이다. 본 논문에서는 Granger인과성 검정과 VAR을 이용한 예측오차분산분해를 통하여 시간의 흐름과 함께 M2의 예측력이 약화되어왔음을 보일 것이다. 두 번째 질문은, '그렇다면 그 원인은 무엇인가' 하는 것이다. 본 논문에서는 통화수요함수의 장기적 안정성에 대한 공적분 검정을 통하여 90년까지의 표본에서 발견되던 안정성에 대한 증거가 96년까지의 표본에서의 사라짐을 보이고, 이같은 통화수요함수의 안정성 상실을 M2의 예측력 약화의 원인인 것으로 해석할 것이다. 본 논문의 마지막 질문은, 'M2타깃팅의 실제 운영이 인플레이션 및 성장률 안정과 일관되게 추진되어 왔는가' 하는 것이다. 본 논문에서는 통화정책의 반응함수 추정을 통하여 80년 이후 우리나라의 통화정책이 기간에 따라 정책목표가 변화되어 왔음을 보일 것이다. 85년 이전에는 인플레이션의 안정이 추구되었으나 86년에서 92년까지의 기간에는 경기부양이 중점적으로 추구되었던 것으로 보이고, 최근에 이르러서는 인플레이션 안정과 성장률 안정이 비교적 균형되게 추구되고 있는 것으로 평가된다.

  • This paper proposes a new linear recursive target state estimator for automotive collision warning system. The target motion is modeled in Cartesian coordinate system while the radar measurements such as range, line-of-sight angle and range rate are obtained in polar coordinate system. To solve the problem by nonlinear relation between these two coordinate system, a practical linear filter design scheme employing the predicted line-of-sight Cartesian coordinate system (PLCCS) is proposed. Especially, PLCCS can effectively incorporate range rate measurements into target tracking system. It is known that the utilization of range rate measurements enables the improvement of target tracking performance. Moreover, PLCCS based target tracking system is implemented by linear recursive filter structure and hence is more suitable scheme for the development of reliable collision warning system. The performance of the proposed method is demonstrated by computer simulations.

  • 소나 시스템의 표적 탐지 성능을 향상시키기 위해 물리적으로 제한된 길이의 어레이를 확장하는 합성 어퍼쳐 소나에 대한 연구와 실험이 이루어지고 있다. 본 논문에서는 왜곡된 어레이의 형상을 추정하여 왜곡을 보상한 후에 빔 영역에서 어레이를 합성하는 FFTSA(Fast Fourier Transform Synthetic Aperture) 기법의 성능을 분석하였다. 실험 데이터로는 한국 근해에서 견인 어레이로부터 획득한 데이터를 이용하였으며 실측된 데이터로 부어레이 간의 시-공간적인 위상 차이를 보상함으로써 어레이 길이를 확장하였다.

  • In this paper, an improved method RMBE (Resizable Model Based target size Estimator) is presented for SDIIR (Strap Down Imaging Infrared) seekers. At the target engaging scenario, the IIR target measurement is separated by various parts. In this case, target object changing is important to accurate target intercept. Therefore, we need robust target size estimator. Our proposed method resize estimated target size with MC-1 (Markov Chain I) for accurate target size estimation. The performance of proposed method is tested at IIR target tracking of target intercept scenario. The experiment results show that the proposed RMBE has improved performance than MBE.

  • In this paper, we shows the simulation result of estimation algorithm for aircraft track which is core engine in MLAT system. The simulation result for 3D position estimation by Chan algorithm based on TDOA and Kalman filter shows that the performance satisfies the requirements of EUROCAE ED-117 over AWGN channel.

  • This paper presents an algorithm of target detection of an underwater acoustic signal by estimating the background. At first, subtract the estimated background from the underwater acoustic signal. To estimate the background, this paper uses an algorithm of Denoising. By using Thresholding and Power analysis, we extract targets from the signal to eliminate the background. The proposed method is valuable as an algorithm to reduce calculation amounts of multi frames we will apply.

  • In this paper, The ARR-TSE (Automatic Range Restore - Triangulation based target Size Estimator) algorithm is presented for IIR (Imaging Infrared) seeker. The target size is important information for the IIR target tracking. The TSE (Triangulation based target Size Estimator) algorithm has suitable performance to estimate target size for static IIR target. but, the performance of the algorithm can be decreased by noise. In order to decrease influence of noise, we propose the ARR-TSE algorithm. The performance of proposed method is tested at target intercept scenario. The simulation results show that the proposed algorithm has the accurate target size estimating performance.
