Effects of $O_2$ saturation and pH on Gas-bubble disease of blue crab, Portunus trituberculatus (꽃게, Portunus trituberculatus 유생의 가스병 발생에 미치는 산소포화도 및 pH의 영향)

  • In order to examine the effects of $O_2$ saturation and pH on gas-bubble disease of blue crab, portunus trituberculatus, zoeal larvae were reared under 5 different concentrations (6.0, 4.0, 3.1, 2.2, and 0.7million cell/cc) of Chlamydomones sp. under natural light for 4days. Observed pH and $O_2$ saturation in the rearing chamber increased drastically from 12 to 18 o'clock with the increasing of Chlamydomones sp. concentrations, but rapidly decreased from 2 to 6 o'clock in the rearing chamber. Gas-bubble disease of zoeal larvae was observed 4hours after starting of experiment at the pH 8.5 and 118% $O_2$ saturated conditions in rearing chamber during the day, and recovered rapidly with the decreasing of pH and $O_2$ saturation at night. Thus, gas-bubble disease of zoeal larvae was repeated with the increased pH($\geq$8.5) and $O_2$ saturation ($\geq$118%) almost every days. Mortality of zoeal larvae was observed when pH and $O_2$ saturations were reached 8.5 and 118% levels respectively, and deteriorated with the increasing of water temperature, pH and $O_2$ saturation.

  • Pulse oximetry is a well established non-invasive optical technique for monitoring the $SpO_2$ during anaesthesia, recovery and intensive care. Pulse oximeters determine the oxygen saturation level of blood by measuring the light absorption of arterial blood. In the measurement of the hemoglobin oxygen saturation, conventional method has required the technique of filtering of remove the noise, and of complex signal processing algorithm. So much time have been required to signal processing. In this research, we separate AC signal and DC signal in the stage of signal detection. Therefore we simplify the calculation algorithm for $SpO_2$. The implemented system have the high performance such an accuracy and a processing time than the traditional method.

  • It is recognized that one of the problems for the current 'Traffic Adaptive Control System in Seoul' is the performance at the oversaturated condition. Instead of 'Degree of Saturation' adopted in the current system, the methodology of balancing the queue length was developed and evaluated in this study. This method keeps the balance of queue lengths on the intersections and reduces the overall queue lengths. In addition a traffic signal control model was developed based on the method. This model can reduce not only the queue lengths but also the average delay of vehicles according to the macroscopic and microscopic evaluations.

  • The oxygen saturation of blood can be measured by the difference absorption in optical spectra of Hb and Hb0$_2$, as the well known previous study. In this study we developed the non-invasive oxygen measurement device for diagnosis of peripheral vascular disease in lower extremity using infrared and red LED which produce a peak spectral emission at a wavelength of 660 nm, and 940 nm. To evaluate the clinical application of the oxygen measurement device, we performed lower extremity study to measure the oxygen changes in response to physiological changes within biological tissue. The results showed that oxygen saturation of blood in biological tissue can be monitored from the separation arrangement light source and detector.

자유면대수층내 포화대와 비포화대에서의 수리분산특성 연구

  • 연속주입추적자시험이 실시된 현장사이트의 규모는 4.5m$\times$4.5m$\times$6.0m 정도이다. 시험 사이트내에서 실시된 추적자시험은 주입공(Pl)에서 Rhodamine WT 50ppm 용액을 1.8$\ell$/min의 주입율로 6일 동안 연속적으로 주입함과 동시에 관측공(P2, P3, Il, I2, I3)에서 일정한 시간간격으로 지하수를 채수하여 추적자농도를 산출하였다. 시험결과, 지하수면 하부를 포함하는 관측공(P2, P3)의 최대추적자농도는 초기주입농도의 10% 정도이며, 지하수면 상부에 위치한 지하수공(Il, I2, I3)들에서의 최대추적자농도는 초기농도의 75% 정도로서 추적자의 농도차이가 상대적으로 매우 크게 나타났다. 본 연구에서는 자유면대수층내에서 포화대를 포함한 관측공과 비포화대만을 포함한 관측공에서의 수리분산특성에 대해 비교.분석한 결과, 오염물이 연속적으로 토양에 유입되는 경우 비포화대 구간에서는 이류기작에 의한 농도희석이 거의 없으므로 오염물농도가 매우 클 것으로 판단된다.

A Study on the Algorithm on Computing Model of Pulse Oximetry Using 2 Channel Sensor (2 채널 센서 펄스 옥시메터의 산소포화도 계산알고리즘에 관한 연구)

  • 본 논문은 2채널 센서를 이용한 펄스 옥시메터의 산소포화도 계산 모델의 설계 및 분석에 관한 것이었다. 또한 Beer Lambert 법칙에 의거하여 기존 알고리즘 및 새로운 알고리즘들을 이론적으로 분석하였다. 제안된 알고리즘은 손가락을 투과한 2개의 채널에서 나온 광신호를 각각 직류성분 Adc 와 맥동성문 Aasin wt. 잡음성분 Ahnoise , ALnoise 등으로 모델링한다. 모델링 되어진 광신호를 맥동성분이 적분비를 사용하여 고주파 동잡음인 AHnoise 를 제거한 후 각각 산소포화도 계산을 위한 상관계수 그래프를 구한다. 또한 2개의 채널에서 적분비를 사용하여 구해진 상관계수 그래프를 사용하여 산소농도를 추출하는 방법에 관하여 기술하였다. 맥동성분비와 관혈적인 측정에 의한 혈중 산소포화도와의 상관관계 그래프의 선형성을 확보하기 위하여 펄스 옥시메터 시뮬레이터 오차범위를 고려해 75~100%상이의 산소포화도를 중점적으로 관측하였고, 4주기로 면적계산주기를 결정하여 실험하였다. 본 연구에서 제안된 알고리즘의 성능평가는 맥동성분의 적분비를 이용한 방법과 비교하였다. 비교결과는 4주기의 면적계산 주기를 가졌을 때 기존의 방식보다 평균오차가 0.7%정도 향상되었으며, 회귀적선의 신뢰도를 보여주는 결정계수 ${\gamma}$$^2$도 0.995로 기존의 방식에서 나온 0.979보다 더 좋은 결과를 얻을 수 있었다. 따라서 2채널을 이용한 방법이 A Lnoise 제거와 성능면에서 우수하다는 결론을 얻을 수 있었다.

  • The spatial variation of saturation tendency can be calculated from the Digital Elevation Model (DEM) employing the multiple flow direction algorithm on the platform of Geographic Resources Support Analysis System (GRASS). It is expected that a bettter understanding of dynamical runoff processes in hillslope hydrological scale is obtained through tracing various runoff path such as infiltration excess overland flow component, strutation excess overland flow component and subsurface runoff component. A procedure is suggested to consider the effect of a tile system on calculating the topographic index. A small agricultural subwatershed (3.4 km2) is used for this study.

  • We propose a saturable absorber reflector based on guided-mode resonance. A carbon nanotube is used as a saturable absorber. By tuning the fill factor, modulation depth can be increased without a change of height of the CNT. We investigate the reflector properties such as modulation depth, bandwidth and peak reflectance as a function of the height of the CNT and the fill factor. The advantage of the proposed reflector is that it can reduce saturation energy by 50 times compared with CNT thin film of 100~200nm.

  • 본 논문에서는 가이디드 영상 필터를 (guided image filter) 이용하여 컨볼루션 신경망 (convolutional neural network) 을 이용한 역 톤 매핑 (inver tone - mapping; iTMO) 기법의 결과를 향상 시킬 수 있는 알고리듬을 제안한다. 기존 low dynamic range (LDR ) 영상을 high dynamic range (HDR ) 디스플레이에서 표현할 수 있는 역 톤 매핑 기법이 과거부터 계속 제안되어 왔다. 최근에 컨볼루션 신경망을 이용하여 단일 LDR 영상만으로 넓은 동적 범위 (dynamic range) 를 가진 HDR 영상으로 변환하는 알고리듬이 많이 연구되었다. 기존의 알고리듬 중 포화 영역 (saturated region) 으로 인해 잃어버린 화소 정보를 학습된 컨볼루션 신경망을 이용해서 복원하는 알고리듬은 그 효과가 좋지만 포화 영역이 아닌 부분의 잡음을 제거하지 못하며 포화 영역의 디테일을 복원하지 못한다. 제안한 알고리듬은 입력 영상에 가중치 기반 가이디드 영상 필터를 사용해서 비포화 영역의 잡음을 제거하고 포화 영역의 디테일을 복원시킨 다음 컨볼루션 신경망에 인가하여 결과 영상의 품질을 개선하였다. 제안하는 알고리듬은 실험을 통해서 기존의 알고리듬에 비해 높은 정량적 화질 평가 지수를 나타내었고, 기존의 알고리듬에 비해 세부 사항을 효과적으로 복원할 수 있음을 확인할 수 있었다.

Study on the Influence of Ca and Mg Saturation Ratios of Soil on the Uptake of Ca, Mg, and K by Rice Plant (답토양(畓土壤)의 Ca, Mg 포화비(飽和比)가 수도(水稻)의 Ca, Mg, K의 흡수(吸收)에 미치는 영향(影響))

  • A pot experiment was conducted to investigate the influence of Ca and Mg saturation ratios of soil on the uptake of Ca, Mg and K by rice plant. A silty loam soil was treated with $CaCl_2$ and $MgCl_2$ to obtain different degrees of Ca and Mg saturation. The studied ranges of Ca and Mg saturation ratios were 81:19, 70:30, 52:48, 55:45, and 31:69 in terms of the ratio of exchangeable Ca and Mg. Two levels of K application (90kg/ha, and 180kg/10a as $K_2O$) were also included in this study. The significant observation were summarized as follows. 1. When the Ca saturation of soil was dominant over Mg, the soil solution contained more Ca than Mg and vice versa. These led to the higher uptake of Ca by rice plant in Ca dominant soils and higher uptake of Mg in Mg dominant soils. 2. When the Ca and Mg saturation ratio was about equal, more Mg was released to soil solution leading to higher concentration of Mg in rice plant compare to that of Ca. 3. A trend was observed that the concentration of K in soil solution was lower in Mg dominant soils than in Ca dominant soils. This also resulted in the depressed uptake of K by rice plant under Mg dominant system when compare to Ca dominant system. 4. The increase application of K led to the increase in relative concentration of K to (Ca+Mg+K), and to the depression of divalent uptake by rice plant. However, it was observed that the degree of depression in uptake divalent by K application was more sensitive in case of Mg than that of Ca. 5. When viewed from grain yield of rice, it is pointed out that the optimum range of Ca to Mg ratio in soil may fall in the vicinity of 7:3. 6. Although K uptake by rice plant was influenced by the term of $AK^+/{\sqrt{A(Ca^{{+}{+}}+Mg^{{+}{+}})$ in soil solution, $AK^+$ itself was affected by the ratios of Ca:Mg in soil, as it were $AK^+$ value was decreased in Mg dominant soil than in Ca.
