  • WMV(Winoow Media Video)는 ASF(Advanced Streaming Format)파일 포맷을 기반으로 하는 마이크로 소프트사의 대표적인 스트리밍 파일 포맷이다. WMV 파일 포맷은 MPEG-4를 기반으로 내용 기반 부호화를 통해 영상을 객체 단위로 나누어 처리하므로 사용자의 의도에 따라 다양한 조작과 디스플레이가 가능하다. 또한 영상 데이터를 패킷에 붙여 네트워크를 통해 스트리밍 서비스도 가능하다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 WMV파일 포맷 분석을 통해 영상의 가장 중요한 Hey-Frame을 추출과 데이터 헤더 부분을 제외한 실제 영상 스트림의 시작 위치를 찾는 알고리즘을 설계 및 구현하였다. 이로써 실제 스트리ald 서비스외에도 다양한 멀티디미어 서비스에 적용 가능한 방법을 마련하였다.

  • 본 논문에서는 시퀀스 레이블링 문제(sequence labeling problem)인 개체명 인식에 사용할 새로운 태깅 포맷인 Delimiter tag (D-tag)를 소개한다. 시퀀스 레이블링 문제에서 사용하는 BIO-tag 포맷은 개체명 레이블을 B (beginning)와 I (inside) 의미의 레이블로 확장하여 타겟 클래스의 수가 2배 증가한다. 또한 BIO-tag 포맷을 사용할 경우, 모델이 B와 I 를 잘못 분류하는 문제가 발생하며, 레이블 수가 많은 세부 분류 개체명의 경우에는 label confusion을 야기한다. 본 논문에서 제안한 D-tag 포맷은 타겟 클래스의 수를 증가시키지 않기 때문에 앞서 언급한 문제를 해결할 수 있다. 실험 결과, D-tag를 사용하여 학습한 모델이 BIO-tag를 사용한 경우보다 더 좋은 성능을 보여, 유망함을 확인하였다.

  • The method of reusing the environmental data which is previously modelled in modeling and simulation is very important. So, we need an environmental data representation and interchange mechanism which satisfies the requirements of sharing. The SEDRIS STF(SEDRIS Transmittal Format) provides environmental data users and producers with a clearly defined interchange specification. In this paper, We design and implement an automatic converter which converts commercial data(Maya) format to standard interchange format and vice verse without losing semantic of information content using SEDRIS standard interchange format.

  • This study suggested a scheme of revitalization and development of digital talking books(DTB) for the print disable people. In Korea, the number of print disabled people is quickly increasing because of increasing of the acquired blind and the elderly in population. To promote information service and to encourage active participation from the group categorized as print disabled people, library is required two distinctive considerations, design and implementation of authoring tool for DTB and policy and administrative consideration for revitalization for DTB service to the print disable people.

A Study on the MARC Format for Classification Data (분류용 MARC 포맷에 관한 연구)

  • This article investigates the functions, needs, and developments of the MARC format for classification data. and recommends the development for the KORMARC format for classification data. It ae analyzes the record structure, content designation and the content of it mainly based on USMARC format. Structure and content designation are almost same with those of the bibliographic and authority formats. The data fields divided into functional blocks based on their functions. Record contents of the data in the fixed-length fields include more elements on the classification numbers, including type of number, classification validity, standard or optional number, synthesized number. Variable fields can be grouped into several blocks, inducing those for numbers and codes: for classification numbers and terms; for references and tracings; for notes fields: for index terms fields, and for number building fields. Data in each fields of this format have the same contents with those in other related fields as soon as possible. This article analyzes the content in each data fields in detail.

  • Korean public organizations create electronic documents through electronic document management systems under the e-Government scheme. A majority of these public documents are saved in vendor-dependent file formats, mainly HWP. Vendor-dependent formats can be opened only with specific software, which requires purchase. As the license does not guarantee compatibility between past and future versions, interoperability problems occur in long-term preservation, which need to be solved. Any error from the elimination of styles or no matching elements in document definition during conversion from vendor-dependent formats to the XML-based standard exchange format leads to file open failure or the modification of original documents. This study introduces the Open Document Format (ODF) and investigates the effects of adopting ODF in the creation, exchange, management, and preservation of public records.

Software Security Testing using Block-based File Fault Injection (블록 기반 파일 결함 주입 기법을 이용한 소프트웨어 보안 테스팅)

  • In this paper, we proposed the methodology for security testing using block-based file fault injection. When fault is inserted into software, we consider the format of file in order to efficiently reduce the error that is caused by mismatch of format of file. The Vulnerability the methodology focuses on is related to memory processing, such as buffer overflow, null pointer reference and so on. We implemented the automatic tool to apply the methodology to image file format and named the tool ImageDigger. We executed fault-injection focused on WMF and EMF file format using ImageDigger, and found 10 DOS(Denial of Service) in Windows Platform. This methodology can apply to block-based file format such as MS Office file.

An User Controllable Object Audio File Format and Audio Scene Description (사용자 기반 실감 객체 오디오 파일 포맷 및 오디오 장면 묘사 기법)

  • Multi-media service has been changed into user based audio services, which service supports actively user's preference and interaction with the users. In the market, multi-media products which can support the highest audio-quality by using lossless audio technology have been released and object audio music which user can select the objects has been serviced. In this paper, we design user's preference information based object audio file format and audio scene description for storage and transmission media. The designed file format is designed based on MPEG-4 file format because high-quality audio codecs in MPEG-4 audio can be easily used and the track of file format can be flexibly controlled depend on the number of the instrument in music. The encoded audio data of each objects and encoded audio scene description by binary encoding that has independent track are packed in a file. The scene description for storage media is consist of full and object scene description, the scene description for transmission media has an essential description for object audio operation and a specific description for real audio sound. The designed file format based simulator is developed and it generates an object audio file with several scene descriptions. Also, the real audio sound is serviced by the interaction with user and the unpacked scene description.

  • This paper is for the design and implementation of SGML document presentation system to format SGML document based on DSSSL. ISO/lEC proposed DSSSL as the technological standard for formatting and transforming SGML document. This paper shows the design of this system in accordance with the model defined in DSSSL. This system, which is able to provide Korean, has parsing function of arbitrary DTDs, SGML documents and DSSSL style sheets, and contains a formatter that can manage various specifications, such as graphs, lists, pictures, as well as text. This will satisfy a user's intent for exchange of SGML documents that involve format information between different types, greatly contribute to make up SGML document processing environment.

  • 최근 많은 멀티미디어 응용 제품이 나오고 있으며, 그 제품을 보면 하나의 기능만 있는 것이 아니라, 여러 가지 기능이 하나의 응용 제품에 들어 있어 보다 복잡하고 다양한 기술들이 포함되어 있다. 이와 관련하여 MPEG 표준화 그룹에서는 급변하는 산업계의 요구에 보다 빠르게 대응하기 위해서 응용 중심의 목적 지향형 표준 규격 제정을 목표로 멀티미디어 응용 표준화(MPEG-A : MPEG-Applications, ISO/IEC 23000) 활동이 진행되고 있다. 멀티미디어 응용 표준화는 기존의 규격들 중 특정 서비스를 위해 이미 존재하는 필요한 표준 규격만을 조림하여 하나의 표준으로 규격화하므로 다양한 응용 서비스를 제공하는데 효율적이고 진행 속도 또한 빠르게 이루어진다. 멀티미디어 응용 포맷들은 콘텐츠, 부가콘텐츠, 메타데이터, 저장 파일 포맷이 그들만의 새로운 형식으로 변형되어 제공된다.[1] 본 논문에서는 2007년 1월 모로코에서 개최된, 제79차 MPEG 회의까지 제안된 여러 가지 멀티미디어 응용 포맷(MAF : Multimedia Application Format)들에 대해서 다룰 것이다.[3] 멀티미디어 응용 표준화에서는 이미 표준화가 완료된 MAF들, 개발 중인 MAF들, 고려중인 MAF들의 세 가지 단계로 표준화 과정을 분류하고 있다. 각 단계별로 해당 멀티미디어 응용 포맷 기술을 소개한다.
