A Study on the Evaluation of Awareness of the Book Debate Club Participants of C University library in Gwangju (광주시 C대학 도서관 독서토론클럽의 참여자 인식 평가 연구)

  • The purpose of this study is the investigation and evaluation of participants' awareness in the Book debate club which is managed by library of C University in Gwangju. For this purpose, the difference of the impact of participation in accordance to the participation duration and attitude, the demographic property of participants, and the problem of Book debate club are investigated. The collection of data is achieved by questionnaires and interviews. In the analyzed result, the period and manner of the participation are very important factors. Also, the activation plan is proposed on the basis of the analyzed result of problems in reading debate club to contribute to the management of future University library's reading promotion program.

The Influence of Past Experience Levels on Attitudes Toward Environment and Park Management (월악산 국립공원 이용객의 경험수준이 자연 및 공원관리에 대한 인식에 미치는 영향)

  • The amount and frequency of past experience in forest recreation have been considered as one component of an overall specialization. Past research has shown that more specialized recreationists have differing motives, attitudes, satisfaction levels, environment preferences, and management preferences. The overall purpose in this study was to investigate the effect of specialization on users' attitudes toward environment and park management. 320 Wolaksan visitors were surveyed in the summer of 1993 to collect the data. Specialization, as measured by past experience, frequencies of visitation to any forest recreation areas per year, visitor days per year, and number of visits to Wolaksan, was tested the relationship to the users' levels of environment attitudes and park management perception. Among the specialization variables, past experience was highly correlated with the levels of attitudes toward environment. Experienced recreationists preferred natural environments to settings associated with social activities. Most of respondents perceived the importance of the attributes related to park management. However, they gave low performance scores to the attributes.

  • Radar performance test is one of the major steps for radar system design. However, it is restricted by time and cost when radar performance tests are performed with opportunity targets. So various simulated target generators are developed and used to evaluate radar performance. To simulate the target's range, most of simulated target generators are developed with optical line or DRFM(Digital RF Memory) technique but there are many restrictions such as limit of range imitation and test scenario because of their original usage. In this paper, DDL(Digital Delay Line) module for development of simulated target generator is designed with precise range simulation and easily embodiment feature. And pulse recognition and delay gap detection technique are used to simulate the time delay without distortions. Developed DDL module performances are verified through their performance tests and test results are described in this paper.

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the implementation of 2015 revised mathematics curriculum. This study focused on issues raised from the implementation. The teaching-learning methods for enhancing mathematical competencies, the amount and difficulty of mathematics in the 1st and 2nd grade, the level of vocabulary and sentence for students in the textbooks, and the support for successful implementation of the curriculum were collected and analyzed through questionnaires and interviews. As a result of the research, most of the teachers tried to improve the teaching and learning method considering mathematical competencies, but had difficulty in connecting contents and competencies. They also recognized that the amount and difficulty in the 1st and 2nd grade math, and the level of vocabulary and sentences presented in math textbooks were generally appropriate. However, they pointed out that the textbooks were over-emphasized in various ways out of basic calculation methods, and that the long sentences, which are not easy to read and understand by students who are not familiar with reading Korean, are included in the . They recognised that there is a large difference in level of reading Korean and understanding math among students. So we suggest that more active support is needed for the students who are learning slowly and the students who are having difficulty in reading Korean.

Design and Implementation of Image Detection System Using Vertical Histogram-Based Shadow Removal Algorithm (수직 히스토그램 기반 그림자 제거 알고리즘을 이용한 영상 감지 시스템 설계 및 구현)

  • For the shadow removal technology that is the base technology of the image detection system, real-time image processing has a problem that the processing speed is reduced due to the calculation complexity and it is also sensitive to illumination or light because shadows are removed only by the difference in brightness. Therefore, in this paper, we improved real-time performance by reducing the calculation complexity through the removal of the weighting part in order to solve the problem of the conventional system. In addition, we designed and evaluated an image detection system based on a shadow removal algorithm that could improve the shadow recognition rate using a vertical histogram. The evaluation results confirmed that the average speed increased by approximately 5.6ms and the detection rate improved by approximately 5.5%p compared to the conventional image detection system.

The Organization Commitment and Perception of Human Resource Management by Employment Types of School Foodservice Employees (학교급식 직원의 고용유형에 따른 인적 자원 관리 활동에 대한 인식과 조직 몰입도)

  • As the foodservice industry is labor intensive, the efficient management of human resources is an essential element for improving operational efficiency. This study was designed to investigate the performance level of human resource management in self-operated school foodservices and to examine the relationship between human resource management, organizational commitment, and productivity. Whether these factors rated differently by employment and job types was also examined. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to 60 dieticians and 240 cooks in Seongnam and Yongin. Frequency analysis, factor analysis, the t-test and multiple regression analysis were tested using Minitab. Human resource management practices rated highly in the dimension of employee training (3.51), followed by working environment (3.39), and turnover management (3.37). In contrast, reward management (1.73) and working condition (1.56) received the lowest score. Organizational commitment scored 3.65 points, and showed that dedication (3.82) was the highest score; however, self-esteem (3.50) was the lowest score. For human resource management, there were significant differences between employment types as full time workers (3.85) rated management more highly than part-time worker (3.43). Overall productivity was fairly high, especially in high school foodservices. Only the performance appraisal had an influence on organizational commitment (${\beta}$=0.292, P<0.05). Productivity was positively correlated with human resource management (r=0.432, P<0.001) and organizational commitment (r=0.36, P<0.01). In conclusion, school foodservices need to establish objective performance standards, and increase employee morale by enhancing reward systems and working conditions. In particular, irregular employees require training with job performance standards and given a proper reward program, depending on their performance, to improve organizational commitment.

Diagnosis and Proposition on CSR by MNCs in China (다국적기업의 중국시장 사회적 책임 활동에 대한 진단과 제안)

  • This study was designed to suggest the effective CSR strategies for MNCs operating in Chinese market. For this purpose, it compares the multi-years results for the evaluation on CSR activities of Multinational and Chinese firms. It also conducts questionnaire survey in an attempt at developing measures of Chinese publics' perception on the four dimensions of CSR defined by Research Center of Chinese Academy of Social Sciences - responsibility management, economic responsibility, social responsibility, and environmental responsibility. The findings of empirical analyses indicate that the CSR activities of MNCs much fall in all four dimensions compared with them of Chinese firms. Among four dimensions, MNCs have had bad evaluations especially on economic responsibility and social responsibility that are considered more important than the others to Chinese. Those findings imply that the MNCs has so far failed to implement effective CSR activities in China. In order to offset their liabilities of foreignness and compensate for their disadvantages in the lack of governmental supports, MNCs should intensify the CSR in economic and social responsibilities.

  • 실제 인간의 눈이 가장 어두운 물체와 가장 밝은 물체 사이의 차이를 인식하는 동적 영역의 범위는 1014(cd/㎡)이다. 이를 디지털 영상으로 가능한 최대로 표현하기 위해 HDR 영상을 생성하는 다양한 기술이 개발되었다. 하지만, 기존 디스플레이 장치의 동적 영역은 103(cd/㎡)로 사람의 동적 영역에 비해 상대적으로 작은 동적 영역을 가진다. 따라서, HDR 영상을 LDR 디스플레이에 효과적으로 표현하기 위해서는 HDR 영상과 시각적으로 유사한 영상을 생성하는 방법인 톤 매핑 기법 (Tone Mapping Operator: TMO)이 필수적이다. 본 논문에서는 HDR 영상을 LDR 디스플레이에 표현하기 위해 개발된 톤 매핑 기법과 톤 매핑 기법의 품질을 평가하는 방법을 소개하고, 각각의 톤 매핑 기법의 품질 점수를 비교한다.

  • 본 연구에서는 자동차 사고나 뇌졸중 등에 의해 경추 이하의 마비나 손, 발 등의 움직임은 자유롭지 않은 사람들의 컴퓨터 사용을 돕고자 손이나 발을 이용하지 않고 머리의 움직임과 눈의 깜박임만으로 컴퓨터 마우스 제어가 가능한 장치를 제안하였다. 마우스의 좌우, 상하 이동은 자이로센서를 이용하여 머리의 움직임으로 유발하고, 클릭과 더블 클릭은 광 센서를 시야를 방해하지 않는 위치에 장착하여 감지할 수 있도록 하였다. 제안한 장치의 클릭과 더블 클릭의 인식율은 사용자가 몇 번의 학습으로 높일 수 있었고, 반응속도는 기존 마우스의 이동 속도와 비교해 볼 때 큰 차이는 없었다. 마지막으로 종합적인 평가를 위해 마우스 이동과 클릭을 동시에 수행하였을 경우에는 정확도가 $80{\sim}90%$ 정도로 기존 마우스보다는 낮았다.

  • 새로운 기술 활용에 직접적인 영향을 받는 사람들은 기존 사고와 행동을 변화해야 할 필요성을 인식하지만 대개의 경우 현재 상황에 집착하게 된다. 따라서 조직원에게 변화의 방향을 제시하고 이것이 필수적인 것이며 동시에 성취 할 수 있다는 확신을 주어 그들의 사고를 다시 재구성 할 수 있도록 한다면 조직내의 성공적인 변화 관리를 할 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 조직 변화 관리를 성공적으로 실행하기 위하여 변화의 본질을 이해하고, 변화를 방해하는 위험 요소를 최소화 하는 방법론, 구체적인 변화 관리 실행계획 수립 절차, 각 단계별 생성되는 산출물, 진단도구(Tool)를 제시하며, 특히 평가단계에서는 변화의 초기 목표와의 차이 분석을 통하여 조직 전체에 효과를 확장할 수 있도록 필요한 기술, 지식, 태도 등을 추출하여, 변화가 ongoing 프로세스이며 지속적인 개선 활동과 연계되어야 한다는 점에 대해 논한다.
