A Study on the Implementation of Hybrid Learning Rule for Neural Network (다층신경망에서 하이브리드 학습 규칙의 구현에 관한 연구)

  • In this paper we propose a new Hybrid learning rule applied to multilayer feedforward neural networks, which is constructed by combining Hebbian learning rule that is a good feature extractor and Back-Propagation(BP) learning rule that is an excellent classifier. Unlike the BP rule used in multi-layer perceptron(MLP), the proposed Hybrid learning rule is used for uptate of all connection weights except for output connection weigths becase the Hebbian learning in output layer does not guarantee learning convergence. To evaluate the performance, the proposed hybrid rule is applied to classifier problems in two dimensional space and shows better performance than the one applied only by the BP rule. In terms of learning speed the proposed rule converges faster than the conventional BP. For example, the learning of the proposed Hybrid can be done in 2/10 of the iterations that are required for BP, while the recognition rate of the proposed Hybrid is improved by about $0.778\%$ at the peak.

  • To do fuzzy modelling of a nonlinear process needs to analyze the characteristics of input-output of fuzzy inference systems according to the division of entire input spaces and the fuzzy reasoning methods. For this, fuzzy model is expressed by identifying the structure and parameters of the system by means of input variables, fuzzy partition of input spaces, and consequence polynomial functions. In the premise part of the fuzzy rules Min-Max method using the minimum and maximum values of input data set and C-Means clustering algorithm forming input data into the clusters are used for identification of fuzzy model and membership functions are used as a series of triangular, gaussian-like, trapezoid-type membership functions. In the consequence part of the fuzzy rules fuzzy reasoning is conducted by two types of inferences such as simplified and linear inference. The identification of the consequence parameters, namely polynomial coefficients, of each rule are carried out by the standard least square method. And lastly, using gas furnace process which is widely used in nonlinear process we evaluate the performance and the system characteristics.

Cognitive Shape Decomposition (인지적 형태 분할)

  • A congnitive shape decomposition method that agrees with human intuition is proposed for the conceptual recognition from sillouettes of objects. Descriptions specifying the structure of shape in terms of meaningful parts and relations have cognitive power and anthropomorphism. In general, man-made objects have a lot of collinear lines and regularity. For the cognitive decomposition of man-made objects, many heuristic rules based on the cognitive experimentation are applied on the context of collinerarity and regularity. The cognitive shape decomposition for the natural shape is carried out by analyzing the possible configuraitions of vertices and line segments for one concave vertex. A cost function for the configuation is designed by weighted sum of five criteria such as, the length of split line segment, the number of split line segments at concave vertex, the proximity of concave vertex, and the correspondence of vertices. These criteria are vased on the property of human perception such as proximtiy, symmetry, and simplicity. The most promising vertex os selected among three set of visible vertices by evaluating the cost function. A number of experiments conducted on the different types of shapes shows that the results correspond with human intuition.

Korean Compound Nouns Decomposition Suitable for Embedded Systems (임베디드 시스템에 적합한 한국어 복합명사 분해)

  • 복합명사는 둘 이상의 말이 결합된 명사를 말하며 문장에서 하나의 단어로 간주된다, 그러나 맞춤법 및 띄어쓰기 검사나 정보검색의 색인어 추출, 기계번역의 미등록어 추정 등의 분야에서는 복합명사를 구성하는 개별 단어를 확인할 필요가 있다. 이 과정을 복합명사 분해라고 한다. 복합명사를 분해하는 방법으로 크게 규칙 기반 방법, 통계 기반 방법 등이 있으며 본 논문에서는 규칙을 기반으로 최소한의 통계 정보를 이용하는 방법을 제안한다. 본 논문은 4개의 분해 규칙을 적용하여 분해 후보를 생성하고 분해 후보들 중에 우선순위를 정하여 최적 후보를 선택하는 방법을 제안한다. 기본 단어(명사)로 트라이(trie)를 구축하고 구축된 트라이를 이용하여 양방향 최장일치를 적용하고 음절 쌍의 통계정보를 이용해서 모호성을 제거한다. 성능을 평가하기 위해 70,000여 개의 명사 사전과 음절 쌍 통계정보를 구축하였고, 이를 바탕으로 복합명사를 분해하였으며, 분해 정확도는 단어 구성비를 반영하면 96.63%이다. 제안된 복합명사 분해 방법은 최소한의 데이터를 이용하여 복합명사 분해를 수행하였으며 트라이 자료구조를 사용해서 사전의 크기를 줄이고 사전의 검색 속도를 개선하였다. 그 결과로 임베디드 시스템과 같은 소형 기기의 환경에 적합한 복합명사 분해 시스템을 구현할 수 있었다.

Discovering Temporal Relation Considering the Weight of Events in Multidimensional Stream Data Environment (다차원 스트림 데이터 환경에서 이벤트 가중치를 고려한 시간 관계 탐사)

  • An event means a flow which has a time attribute such as a symptom of patient. Stream data collected by sensors can be summarized as an interval event which has a time interval between the start-time point and the end-time point in multiple stream data environment. Most of temporal mining techniques have considered only the frequent events. However, these approaches may ignore the infrequent event even if it is important. In this paper, we propose a new temporal data mining that can find association rules for the significant temporal relation based on interval events in multidimensional stream data environment. Our method considers the weight of events and stream data on the sensing time point of abnormal events. And we can discover association rules on the significant temporal relation regardless of the occurrence frequency of events. The experimental analysis has shown that our method provide more useful knowledge than other conventional methods.

The Design of Adaptive Fuzzy Controller for Autonomous Navigation of Mobile Robot (이동 로보트의 자율 주행을 위한 적응 퍼지 제어기의 설계)

  • In this paper we propose a design method of the adaptive fuzzy controller for autonomous navigation of mobile robots based on the fuzzy theory. We present two improvements. First, unnecessary rules in the fuzzy inference process make data processing time increase. We reduce this data processing time by generating suitable fuzzy inference rules and membership functions according to the current state of a mobile robot. It is implemented with the clustering method using input and output data pairs, and then it is possible for a mobile robot to navigate in shorter processing time with less fuzzy inference rules. Second, existing algorithms used fixed membership functions of input and output variables, hence converged slowly. We improve convergence time via scaling membership functions generated by the clustering method. To evaluate and compare the performance of the proposed method with the existing fuzzy navigation controller, computer simulations and navigation experiments of a mobile robot are Presented.

The Goods Recommendation System based on modified FP-Tree Algorithm (변형된 FP-Tree를 기반한 상품 추천 시스템)

  • This study uses the FP-tree algorithm, one of the mining techniques. This study is an attempt to suggest a new recommended system using a modified FP-tree algorithm which yields an association rule based on frequent 2-itemsets extracted from the transaction database. The modified recommended system consists of a pre-processing module, a learning module, a recommendation module and an evaluation module. The study first makes an assessment of the modified recommended system with respect to the precision rate, recall rate, F-measure, success rate, and recommending time. Then, the efficiency of the system is compared against other recommended systems utilizing the sequential pattern mining. When compared with other recommended systems utilizing the sequential pattern mining, the modified recommended system exhibits 5 times more efficiency in learning, and 20% improvement in the recommending capacity. This result proves that the modified system has more validity than recommended systems utilizing the sequential pattern mining.

  • In this paper, we propose heterogeneous lifelog mining model in health big-data platform. It is an ontology-based mining model for collecting user's lifelog in real-time and providing healthcare services. The proposed method distributes heterogeneous lifelog data and processes it in real time in a cloud computing environment. The knowledge base is reconstructed by an upper ontology method suitable for the environment constructed based on the heterogeneous ontology. The restructured knowledge base generates inference rules using Jena 4.0 inference engines, and provides real-time healthcare services by rule-based inference methods. Lifelog mining constructs an analysis of hidden relationships and a predictive model for time-series bio-signal. This enables real-time healthcare services that realize preventive health services to detect changes in the users' bio-signal by exploring negative or positive correlations that are not included in the relationships or inference rules. The performance evaluation shows that the proposed heterogeneous lifelog mining model method is superior to other models with an accuracy of 0.734, a precision of 0.752.

  • The government of South Korea has introduced various security measures in the supply chain, such as CSI (including a 24-hour rule) and AEO (Authorized Economic Operator), in compliance with global security trends and the war on terror. However, many participants in the import and export process are still unfamiliar with the purposes and functions of CSI, the 24-hour rule, and AEO. As such, considering these risks as obstacles or as factors that interfere with the import and export process, this study suggests proper management schemes, which can identify, measure and evaluate these risks.

공공지역 흡연구역 담배자판기, 전면철거 있을 수 없다

  • 담배자판기 규제완화에 대한 산업계의 강력한 의지에도 불구하고 최근 개정을 추진 중인 국민건강증진법 시행령 및 시행규칙 공고(안)에 있어서는 공공지역 흡연구역에 대해 담배자판기를 전면 철거하는 내용이 포함이 되어 있어 산업계에 큰 충격을 주고 있다 이같은 관련입법은 그동안 담배자판기에 성인인증 장치를 부착하는 자율대책으로 규제완화를 적극 주창해 온 산업계 입장과는 전면 대치되는 방향이기에 그 충격이 더욱 클 수밖에 없다. 만약 이 공고안대로 입법통과가 된다면 기존 공공장소 흡연구역에 설치가 된 자판기들마저 전면 철거가 이루어져야 함은 물론 향후 담배자판기 설치로케이션도 극히 제약을 받게 되는 치명적 상황을 맞게 된다. 이같은 사태의 위급성 앞에 협회에서는 ${\ulcorner}$담배자판기 관련 국민건강증진법 시행령 및 시행규칙 개정안${\lrcorner}$에 대해 산업계의 입장을 종합한 소견서를 보건복지부 건강증진과에 제출하고 강력대응을 진행하고 있다. 협회는 이 건의안을 통해 공공장소 흡연구역에 대한 자판기 설치 금지 및 철거 검토 안은 시대적인 조류를 역행함은 물론, 성인인식 담배자판기의 청소년 보호 등 긍정적인 설치효과 측면을 전혀 인정치 않는 초강력 규제로서는 도저히 이 개정안을 수용할 수 없는 산업계 입장을 밝혔다. 아울러 공고안 같은 강력 규제보다는 성인인식 담배자판기가 오히려 합법적인 설치환경을 확보하여 사회적으로 떳떳하고 자신 있게 그 존재가치를 평가받을 수 있게 관련법을 개정해 주길 요청했다. 공고안의 개정통과가 산업계와 협회의 바램과 같이 저지될 수 있을 지는 앞으로 지켜봐야 할 일이다 하지만 분명한 점은 명분과 당위성과 부족한 규제만능주의적인 입법을 산업계가 그대로 수용하고만은 있을 수 없다는 점이다. 따라서 현시점에서 중요한 점은 산업계가 일치단결해 현 관련 공고안에 대한 반대 목소리를 높이는 일이다. 현재의 존립을 위협받는 담배자판기는 발상의 전환과 마인드 변화에 따라서는 얼마든지 합법적인 설치환경을 확보할 수 있기에 산업계의 결속력 있는 대응은 그만큼 중요성을 갖는다. 이번 사안은 결코 포기 할 수 없는 산업계의 권리라는 점은 명심해야 한다. 이러한 취지 하에 금번 정책초점에서는 보건복지부 관련 부처에 제출한 ${\ulcorner}$담배자판기 관련 국민건강증진법 시행령 및 시행규칙 개정안${\lrcorner}$에 대한 업계 소견서 및 건의안 내용을 정리 게재 했다.
