An Analytical Study of Library Administrative Organization in Local Governments - Focused on Gyeonggi Province - (지방자치단체 도서관 행정조직의 분석적 연구 - 경기도를 중심으로 -)

  • The purpose of this study is to suggest an improved model of the library administrative organization, based on analysis and investigation of present situations of libraries in 31 local governments of Gyeonggi province. With the result of this investigation, there are few local governments in Gyeonggi province with library-related organizations. Most of them had more organized position of extraordinary session than of affiliation with each local government. Also, library policy departments were incomplete, and local governments did not configure the library operating System(central library - base library - branch library) efficiently.

  • 현행 7차 교육과정에서는 정보통신기술을 재량활동 시간을 이용하여 필수적으로 36시간 이상의 수업을 하도록 전장하고 있다. 이에 각 시 도에서는 자체적으로 교재를 개발하고 그에 따른 교사용 지도서도 나와 있다. 그러나 컴퓨터 내용학에 관한 교수 모형은 타 교과에서 만들어진 것을 차용하거나 컴퓨터 교과에 무리하게 적용한 것이 대부분이라 하겠다. 또한 컴퓨터 내용학보다는 소프트웨어를 다루는 기능 위주의 교육 내용 편성이 대부분이라 내용학을 다루는 것은 극히 일부라 하겠다. 이에 본 연구는 컴퓨터 내용학의 교수 모형을 제시하여 초등학교에서의 컴퓨터 내용학을 가르치는데 도움이 되고자 한다. 또한 현재 응용 소프트웨어 활용에 연연하고 있는 재량 활동 시간의 정보통신교육보다는 앞으로 정규교과목으로 지정될 것을 전제로 컴퓨터 내용학을 중심으로 한 교수 모형을 제안하고자 한다.

An Instructional Model for Effective Experimental Education (효과적인 실험 교육을 위한 수업 모형)

  • Circuit theory is a systematic study that analyzes and designs the most basic circuits in the field of electrical and electronic engineering. Circuit theory courses are organized as major courses for one or two semesters in the second year of university, so that electrical and electronic engineering students must learn. Experimental courses are being together organized for students to enhance understanding of circuit theory and cultivate the skills and the abilities of circuit design through experiments with actual circuits. This paper is a case study on the teaching method applied in electric circuit design and experiment courses to enhance the learning effect on the experimental education that supports circuit theory. To do this, we propose a 15-week instructional model consisting of theory study, simulation, experiments, and design projects. In the proposed model, the simulation and preliminary experiment preparation process are reinforced to complement the theoretical concept and the design project is introduced to acquire practical circuit design skills as engineers. The results of five-year operation demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed model.

A study on forecasting attendance rate of reserve forces training based on Data Mining (데이터마이닝에 기반한 예비군훈련 입소율 예측에 관한 연구)

  • The mission of the reserve forces unit is to prepare good training for reserve forces during peacetime. For good training, units require proper organization support agents, but they have difficulties due to a lack of unit members. For that reason, the units forecast the monthly attendance rate of reserve forces (using the x-1 year's result) to organize support agents and unit schedule. On the other hand, the existing planning method can have more errors compared to the actual result of the attendance rate. This problem has a negative effect on the training performance. Therefore, it requires more accurate forecast models to reduce attendance rate errors. This paper proposes an attendance rate forecast model using data mining. To verify the proposed data mining based model, the existing planning method was compared with the proposed model using real data. The results showed that the proposed model outperforms the existing planning method.

Study of shortest time artillery position construction plan (최단시간 포병진지 구축계획 수립을 위한 연구)

  • This paper addresses the problem of the construction planning of artillery positions, for which we present an optimization model and propose a heuristic algorithm to solve problems of practical size. The artillery position construction plan includes the assignment of engineers to support the artillery and the schedule of the support team construction sequence. Currently, in the army, managers construct the plan based on their experience. We formulate the problem as a mixed integer program and present a heuristic that utilizes the decomposition of the mixed integer model. We tested the efficacy of the proposed algorithm by conducting computational experiments on both small-size test problems and large-size practical problems. The average optimality gap in the small-size test problem was 6.44% in our experiments. Also, the average computation time to solve the large-size practical problems consisting of more than 200 artillery positions was 79.8 seconds on a personal computer. The result of our computational experiments shows that the proposed approach is a viable option to consider for practical use.

  • 현재 철도 신호시스템 추세는 이동폐색 및 무인운전, 안전에 주안점을 두어 연구개발 되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 철도환경에 적합하고 경제성이 고려된 무선에 의한 새로운 열차검지기법인 토대로 이동폐색을 구현 및 평가하기 위하여 적용한 방법에 대하여 기술하고자 한다. 시험선에서 1편성의 열차 조건으로 이동폐색을 검증하기 위하여 선두열차를 모형열차(Dummy Train)로 시스템을 구성하여 정적인 상태에서 평가를 통해 검증하였다.

  • This study introduces a new method for Logistics Cost Accounting in University Libraries. Logistics Cost is the cost that arises in the course of physical distribution and causes a serious in crease in the unit cost of a product. Therefore, Logistics Cost Accounting has been used in manufacturing industries to reduce the unit costs of products. There is a definite similarity between the operations of a business and a library. The operations of a business consist of purchasing, production, selling, which is similar to that of a library, where they are called acquisitions, cataloging, physical preparations and circulation. So Logistics Cost Accounting may be applied to a library. With this in mind, we made a model for Logistics Cost Accounting' in University Libraries. Therefore, it can be applied to many university libraries because it is a general model.

The Impact of SMEs' Smart Factory Systems Implementation on Management Accounting (중소제조기업 스마트공장시스템 도입이 관리회계에 미치는 영향)

  • The objective of this research is to investigate how implementation of smart factory systems(SFS) effects management accounting(MA). The results based on data collected from 108 Korea small and medium enterprises(SME) confirmed that SFS implementation caused significant MA changes. Estimated regression models revealed that the most important SFS characteristic were the analytical capabilities since it positively influenced MA changes in four dimensions: internal reporting, budgeting, application of modern accounting techniques and MA employee's job. In the segment of budgeting, the quality of implementation of specialized bedgeting software had significant and positive influence. The only negative correlation founded was the one between the uncertainty of business environment and adoption of modern accounting techniques. Results from this study provide that SME should put special focus on implementation of business analytics modules in order to achieve comprehensive benefits in MA prctices.

A Study on the Management of the Advanced Degree Programs Commissioned by the ROK Armed Forces (육군 전문학위 위탁교육의 성과관리에 관한 연구)

  • The objective of this study is to evaluate the degree programs commissioned by the ROK Armed Forces, and to search for improvements. In order to achieve the purpose of this study, a research model was designed according to the CIPP evaluation model of Daniel Stufflebeam. The researcher conducted an analysis of documents, interviews, surveys, and data associated with the commissioned degree programs. On the basis of empirical analysis, this study debated various ways of improving the programs. This study found that the object of commissioned education in the Army did not actively reflect national defense strategy nor the army strategy in cultivating talented people. Nevertheless, this study found that the educational program helped improve individual competency because the budget for the programs was sufficient and was effectively implemented. However, there are not enough personnel to administer these commissioned programs. The contents of education strongly reflected the objective of the original commission's programs. However, the research papers produced by the students did not live up to the needs of the military to some extent. Lastly, most graduate students were satisfied with this program and found the program to be very helpful to carry out their missions and cultivate their expertise.

Curriculum Planning for Children's Librarian (어린이전문사서를 위한 교육과정 모형 개발 연구)

  • The purpose of this study was to develop a curriculum model for the professional development of children's librarians at the university level through literature reviews, theoretical studies, survey of children's librarians' needs for their professional development, and investigation of the conditions of operation in the course of library and information sciences. The curriculum consists of five areas: (1) children's librarian, (2) child, (3) materials, (4) service, and (5) library management. There are two tracks: one for refinement in 90 hours, and the other for professional development in 165 hours. Some courses are made up practical activities drawn from theoretical foundations. The courses blend on-line and off-line styles of learning.
