  • 변화하는 경쟁적 인터넷 환경에서 E-Business의 성공적인 운영은 웹 사이트를 이용하는 고객들의 행위를 얼마나 잘 이해하느냐에 달려있다. 폭발적으로 늘어나는 웹 사이트 중에서 많은 사용자들을 유치하고 유지하기 위해서는 고객 개개인의 특성을 분석해서 특성화된 특성화된 서비스를 제공하는 것이 중요하다. 이 논문에서는 웹 서버에 의해 수집되는 로그파일로부터 사용자들이 빈번하게 함께 접근하는 페이지들을 기반으로 웹 페이지에 대한 클러스터링을 수행하고 이러한 웹 페이지의 클러스터를 이용해서 유사한 행동패턴을 가진 사용자들을 분류함으로써 특성화된 서비스를 제공하기 위한 일련의 기법들을 제안한다. 특히 클러스터링을 수행하는 웹 로그에 시간적인 요소를 고려한 제약조건을 둠으로써 좀더 유용한 지식을 찾아낼 수 있는 방안을 제시한다.

Understanding Web Designer′s Knowledge Structure for WWW (웹 페이지 설계자의 WWW에 대한 지식구조)

  • The purpose of this study was to identify web designer's knowledge organization for WWW. Linked web sites were investigated in public library web pages. Independent variable was the supervised offices of public libraries and dependent variables were the web sites of type of public libraries, supervised offices of public libraries, and employment information. Results showed that special library and supervised office web sites were linked differently by public library web pages differently based upon supervised offices. This difference was resulted from geographical factors and types of information on the web sites.

Multiple Pipelined Hash Joins using Synchronization of Page Execution Time (페이지 실행시간 동기화를 이용한 다중 파이프라인 해쉬 결합)

  • In the relational database systems, the join operation is one of the most time-consuming query operations. Many parallel join algorithms have been developed to reduce the execution time. Multiple hash join algorithm using allocation tree is one of most efficient ones. However, it may have some delay on the processing each node of allocation tree, which is occurred in tuple-probing phase by the difference between one page reading time of outer relation and the processing time of already read one. In this paper, to solve the performance degrading problem by the delay, we develop a join algorithm using the concept of 'synchronization of page execution time' for multiple hash joins. We reduce the processing time of each nodes in the allocation tree and improve the total system performance. In addition, we analyze the performance by building the analytical cost model and verify the validity of it by various performance comparison with previous method.

  • Software system modeling has a goal for finding and solving system's problems by describing and analyzing system model in formal notations. Petri nets, as graphical formalism, have been used in describing and analyzing the software systems such as parallel systems, real-time system, and protocols. In the analysis of Petri nets, general system properties such as deadlock and liveness are analyzed by the reachability analysis. On the other side, specific properties such as functional requirements and constraints are checked by model-checking. However, since these analysis methods are based on enumeration of ail possible states, there nay be state explosion problem, which means that system states exponentially increase as the size of system is larger. In this paper, we propose a new method for mechanically checking system properties with avoiding state explosion problem. At first, system properties are described in property nets then the system model and the property net are composed and analyzed. In the compositional analysis, system parts irrelevant to the specific property are reduced to minimize the analysis domain of the system. And it is possible to mechanically check whether a specific property is satisfied or not.

  • There are various studies to provide useful information for users on huge data of web-sites. Web usage mining among them is a method to extract meaningful patterns based on web users' log data. Most of existing patterns of web usage mining, however, had not considered users' diverse inclination but created general models. Web users' keywords can have various meaning upon their tendency and background knowledge. This study is for generating Multi Concept Keyword Model (MCK-Model) by analyzing web usage information on users' keywords of interest. MCK-Model can supply web page network for various inclination based on users' keywords of interest. Also, MCK-Model can be used to recommend the most proper web pages and it has been confirmed that the suggested method is useful enough.

  • Due to the increasing complexity and shorter life cycle of web applications, web applications need to be restructured to improve flexibility and extensibility. These days approaches are being used where systems are understood and restructured through clustering techniques. In this paper, the coupling metrics are proposed for clustering web pages more effectively. To achieve this, web application models are defined, where the relationship between web pages and the numbers of parameters are included. Considering direct and indirect coupling strength based on these models, coupling metrics are defined. The more direct relations between two pages and the more parameters they have, the stronger direct coupling is. The higher indirect connectivity strength between two pages is, the more similar the patterns of relationships among other web pages are. We verify the suggested metrics according to the well known verification framework and provide a case study to show that our metrics complements some existing metrics.

  • The current network environment provides a real-time interactive service from an initial one-way information prov ision service. Depending on the form of web-based information sharing, it is possible to provide various knowledge a nd services between users. However, in this web-based real-time information sharing environment, cases of damage by illegal attackers who exploit network vulnerabilities are increasing rapidly. In particular, for attackers who attempt a phishing attack, a link to the corresponding web page is induced after actively generating a forged web page to a user who needs a specific web page service. In this paper, we analyze whether users directly and actively forge a sp ecific site rather than a passive server-based detection method. For this purpose, it is possible to prevent leakage of important personal information of general users by detecting a disguised webpage of an attacker who induces illegal webpage access using traceback information

  • 본 논문해서는 m-커머스의 대표적인 성공 사례로 꼽히고 있는 NTT DoCOMo의 i-mode 서비스에 초점을 맞추어 성공요인과 그러한 성공을 이끌어 내는데 결정적인 역할을 담당한 웹 페이지 기술언어에 대해 살펴보았다. 분석 결과에 근거하면, i-mode 서비스의 대대적인 성공은 끊임없이 Positive Feedback의 계기를 만들어 냄으로써 가능하게 되었는데, 그것은 다름 아닌 C-HTML이라는 웹페이지 기술언어의 채용이 많은 역할을 하고 있다.

  • The recent trends in malwares show the most widely used for the distribution of malwares that the targeted computer is infected while the user is accessing to the website, without being aware of the fact that, in which the harmful codes are concealed. In this thesis, we propose a new malicious web page detection system based on a real time analysis of normal/abnormal behaviors in client-side. By means of this new approach, it is not only the limitation of conventional methods can be overcome, but also the risk of infection from malwares is mitigated.

Analysis on the Visitors' Pattern of the University Webpages (대학 웹페이지 방문자 패턴분석)

  • The visitors' patterns of the homepages in university were classified and analyzed with the network analysis based on the hyperlinks. The numbers of visits to English web-pages were proportional to those of Korean with much less counts. The larger count of visits was confirmed for the case of colleges than the departments, showing the upper boundary of visits from the plot with the Betweenness centrality normalized by the degree. For the better visibility, well-designed hyperlinks with the proper public relations were suggested based on the quantitative analysis of visitors' count.
