의복관여와 유행관여

  • 일찍이 제품흥미나 중요성 대신 관여(involvement)의 개념이 소개된 이래로 마케팅과 소비자 행동 분야뿐 아니라 의류학분야의 여러 연구에서 관여는 구매자의 행동을 이해하는데 중요한 변수로 이해되어왔다. 그러나 관여의 개념은 의류제품의 특수성으로 인하여 변인이 조작적으로 정의되는 과정에서 의복관여, 유행관여, 패션관여 등의 용어가 혼용되어 왔다. 이러한 경향은 선행연구와 후행 연구의 연계성이라는 측면에서 “의복관여”라는 변수를 도입한 연구들의 해석에 많은 어려움을 주어 왔다. (중략)

  • 본 연구는 기존의 기술수용모델의 핵심인 지각된 사용 용이성과 지각된 편의성이 소비자의 제품 품질 지각에 미치는 영향에서, 연령, 인지욕구, 그리고 패션관여가 미치는 조절효과를 조사했다. 분석 결과, 가정되었던 지각된 유용성과 사용용이성의 지각된 품질에의 긍정적 영향력은 통계적으로 유의한 것으로 확인되었다. 이러한 결과는 웨어러블즈의 수용에서 기술수용모델을 적용하여 설명했던 선행연구들의 결과와 일관되었다. 반면 가정되었던 연령, 인지욕구, 패션관여의 조절효과는 부분적으로 지지되었다. 가령 응답자 연령은 웨어러블즈에 대한 지각된 유용성이 지각된 품질에 미치는 영향에 유의한 부적 조절효과를 보인 반면, 지각된 사용용이성이 지각된 품질에 미치는 영향에 유의한 조절효과를 나타내지 못했다.

패션 판매원의 직무적합성에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Job Aptitudity of Fashion Salesperson)

  • 오늘날 시장에서는 제품 미학, 브랜딩 전략, 서비스 품질과 같은 감성적 요소들의 중요성이 점점 증대되고 있으며, 특히 패션제품의 경우 구매 시점에서의 감성적 요소들은 주로 인적 판매와 관련된다. 이처럼 패션 판매원의 역할이 중요해짐에 따라 판매원이 갖추어야 할 직무적합성에 대한 검토가 필요하다. 본 연구에서는 (1) 패션 판매원의 직무적합성을 구성하는 요인을 규명하고, (2) 인구통계 특성과 직업 통계 특성 및 의복관여, 유형혁신성, 지속적 정보탐색, 직무만족과 직무적합성의 관계를 알아보았다. 연구 결과에서 패션 판매원의 직무적합성은 제품지식, 직업의식, 현 직장 관여, 마케팅 협력자로서의 자질, 고객지향성, 자기관리의 6개 요인으로 규명되었다. 패션 판매원들의 전반적인 의복관여와 유행혁신성은 높게 나타났으며, 직무적합성 요인들 중에서는 마케팅 협력자로서의 자질과 제품지식 요인에 대한 점수가 상대적으로 낮은 편이었으므로 통합적 패션 마케팅을 구현하기 위해서는 섬유와 패션 관련 제품지식과 판매 정보의 전략적 활용을 포함한 판매원 교육이 필요함을 알 수 있다. 패션 판매원의 직무적합성은 의복관여, 유행혁신성, 지속적 정보탐색, 직무만족과 정적 상관관계를 보였다. 본 연구에서 직무적합성과 유의한 관계를 보인 척도들은 패션 유통 업체들의 판매원 관리에 직무적합성 검증을 위한 지표로 사용될 수 있을 것이다.

  • 21세기는 젊은 세대들의 영향력이 패션 전체에 깊게 관여되어 현대패션에 지대한 영향을 주고 또 그들이 패션을 주도하기도 한다. 이러한 상황 속에서 패션이란 인간의 행위가 과거에 있지만 곧 미래로 직결된다고 하겠고 또 앞으로의 패션분야에 대하여 긍정적인 효과를 가져옴을 기대할 수 있다. 최근 패션 트렌드가 20세기 초기 특히 1920년대의 재즈 이미지의 특성과 본질 등을 반영한 패션의 영감을 추구하는 경향이 나타나는 점을 볼 째 당신의 젊은 세대들의 패션에 대한 연구는 상당한 의의가 있다고 보겠다. (중략)

패션관여, 쾌락적 소비가 충동구매에 미치는 영향 -한국과 미국 소비자의 비교- (Effects of Fashion Involvement and Hedonic Consumption on Impulse Buying -Comparison of Korean and American Young Consumers-)

  • Technologies such as television shopping channels and the internet expand consumers' impulse purchasing opportunities. The interest in national differences of consumer behavior was growing and highlighted the importance of understanding the national context of consumer behavior in an increasing globalized marketplace. The purposes of this study were to examine the effects of fashion involvement and hedonic consumption on impulse buying for Korean and American young consumers, and to compare the differences between two groups. A questionnaire was developed from literatures reviewed. Data were obtained from students attending universities in Korea(N=413) and the U.S.(N=290). Using structural equation modeling, the results indicated that the proposed model of this study was appropriate to explain the effects of fashion involvement and hedonic consumption on impulse buying for Korean and American young consumers. The model showed that fashion involvement and hedonic consumption played important roles in triggering impulse buying for two groups. In addition, American consumers were more likely to influence fashion involvement and hedonic consumption on impulse buying than Korean consumers. The results provided some insights into globalized retail marketing theory supporting the national aspects of impulse buying. Future research and managerial implications are addressed.

패션혁신성 및 패션관여도가 의류재활용 태도에 미치는 영향: 남녀 비교 연구 (Gender Differences in the Effects of Fashion Innovativeness and Fashion Involvement on Attitudes toward Apparel Recycling)

  • With increasing concerns about environmental issues that can result from apparel and textile disposal, the recycling methods for discarded fashion products have gained significant attention. As the influential drivers of consumer purchasing and consuming behaviors, fashion innovativeness and fashion involvement can play important roles in forming consumer attitudes toward apparel recycling. The purpose of this study was to (1) investigate consumer attitudes toward three different methods of apparel recycling including resale, reform, and donation, (2) examine the effects of fashion innovativeness and fashion involvement on consumers' apparel recycling attitudes, and (3) identify gender difference in the relationships among fashion innovativeness, fashion involvement, and recycling attitudes. Using a web-based survey, data were collected from 281 Korean consumers who were in their 20s and 30s. Overall, both male and female consumers revealed the most favorable attitudes toward apparel recycling through donation, followed by reform, and resale. The findings suggest that consumer traits, such as fashion innovativeness and fashion involvement, are important factors predicting male consumers' apparel recycling behaviors. Those male consumers who perceive fashion as important were more interested in apparel recycling than those males who put low importance on fashion. Male fashion innovators were less likely to recycle their unused and old apparel items. Further studies identifying antecedents of female consumers' attitudes toward apparel recycling are warranted.

패션관여와 인터넷 친숙도에 따라 인터넷 쇼핑몰과의 상호작용성이 재구매 의도에 미치는 인과모형 분석 (The Effects of Interactivity on Consumer's Repurchase Intention in Internet Shopping Mall According to Fashion Involvement and Internet Familiarity)

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of interactivity on consumer's affective commitment, trust, and repurchase intention according to fashion involvement and internet familiarity. The survey was limited to the respondents over 20 years old males and females living in Seoul and other metropolitan areas who had purchased fashion products in internet shopping mall. The questionnaire was collected from February 1, 2012 to February 12, 2012 and 562 useful data were analyzed using Amos 19. The results of this study were as follows: After respondents were divided into four groups including the high fashion involvement/high internet familiarity group, the high fashion involvement/low internet familiarity group, the low fashion involvement/high internet familiarity group, the low fashion involvement/low internet familiarity group, the path model was verified according to each group. All the paths except 'affective commitment ${\rightarrow}$ repurchase intention' were accepted for the high fashion involvement/high internet familiarity group. Comparing the low fashion involvement/low internet familiarity group with the low fashion involvement/high internet familiarity group, contents-people interactivity had more influence on the relationship with internet shopping mall in high internet familiarity group while people-people interactivity had more influence on the relationship with internet shopping mall in low internet familiarity group. Also 'trust' showed stronger effects on repurchase intention than 'affective commitment'.

지각된 제품 특성과 과시적 소비 성향이 패션명품관여에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of the Perceived Product Characteristics and Conspicuous Consumption on the Fashion Luxury Involvement)

  • The Purpose of this study is to investigate the effects of the perceived luxury characteristic and consumer's conspicuous consumption on the fashion luxury involvement. The subjects were Korean 443 women from 20's to 50's living in Seoul. The reliability analysis, confirmatory factor analysis and structural equation analysis by AMOS 4.0 were used for statistics analysis. The results are as follows; 1) The perceived aesthetic taste and luxurious aspect of fashion luxury directly influence on fashion luxury involvement through hedonic consumption value. 2) The perceived luxurious aspect and traditional value of fashion luxury directly influence on negative luxury consumption value, but negative consumption value does not influence on fashion luxury involvement. 3) The well-known brand orientation, face-saving consumption, and value orientation directly influence on fashion luxury involvement.

여가활동 소비자의 패션관여와 의복선택기준, 패션정보원에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Fashion Involvement, Clothing Selection Criteria and Fashion Information Sources of Leisure Activities Consumers)

  • The study is intended to suggest the differentiated and subdivided indexes of the leisure fashion market and to provide the marketing strategy establishment and in-depth understanding of leisure fashion business by looking into the correlation between and among fashion involvement, clothing selection criteria and fashion information sources. This study was conducted by the questionnaire response method and the results were derived by using the SPSS 16.0 statistics program. The results of the study were as follows; 1) As a result of researching the difference between the leisure activities consumer groups and fashion involvement, there were significant differences in emotional and cognitive involvement. In the tour activity group and social activity group, emotional involvement was found to be higher than the cognitive experience while in the hobby and sports activity group, both involvements were equally as high. 2) As a result of researching the difference between the leisure activities groups and clothing selection criteria, it was found that the intrinsic and extrinsic criteria were high in the hobby and sports activity group and that the intrinsic criteria was high in the tour activity group and social activity group. 3) In the difference between the leisure activity groups and fashion information sources, it was found that media source, observation source and experience/personal source were high in the hobby and sports activity group. In addition, the experience and personal source were high in the social activity group. 4) In the difference between and among fashion involvement, clothing selection criteria and fashion information sources, it was found that the emotional involvement, intrinsic criteria and observation source were higher in the group of females than males. 5) In the difference between and among fashion involvement, clothing selection criteria and fashion information sources depending on the ages of leisure activities consumers, it was found that the emotional involvement and observation source were high in the group of 20-24 yrs old consumers and that the emotional involvement, intrinsic criteria and observation source were high in the group of 25-29 yrs old consumers. Also, in the group of 30-34 yrs old consumers, the emotional involvement, observation source and experience/personal source were high.

과시소비성향에 따른 패션과 뷰티관여도 (Fashion and Beauty Involvement According to a Conspicuous Consumption Tendency)

  • This study examines the fashion and beauty involvement according to a conspicuous consumption tendency. Questionnaires were used for female university students in their 20s and employees residing in Busan. The results of this study are as follows: The subfactors of conspicuous consumption tendency were divided into the individual pursuit orientation, brand orientation, high price orientation, and fashion pursuit orientation. The subfactors of fashion involvement were composed of physical supplementations, social symbols, outward appearance direction, sex appeal, and assimilation; in addition, those of beauty involvement consisted of hair design, skin management, make-up application, and shape management. Because of the examination of the differences, fashion involvement, and beauty involvement, conspicuous consumption tendency had a significant difference between the two groups in brand orientation, fashion in physical supplementation and outward appearance direction as well as beauty involvement in skin management and make-up direction. The conspicuous consumption tendency in the student influences the fashion pursuit orientation of fashion and beauty involvement because of the examination of the effect. Conspicuous consumption tendency in employees influences the individuality pursuing orientation and high price orientation in fashion involvement. In conclusion, the results show the tendency that university students put the most importance on fashion for fashion and beauty related product purchases and management direction; in addition, employees with income pursue high prices that can show their positions and economic power at work.
