This study was to conceptualize Palzha and investigate Palzha inference as mode of self-view. In general, people would like to attribute their unhappy and unfortunate life events or histories to Palzha which is given by the supernatural being. According to analysis of interviews and open-ended responses concerning on Plazha, Palzha indicated 'luck', 'uncontrollable situation', or 'fate' given by the supernatural being. In study 2, we conducted an analysis of the relationship between locus of control belief and Palzha attribution. More having external control belief, more tending to attributing the rugged life events or histories, and unexpected fortunate events to Palzha. Consequently, Palzha as mode of self-view on everyday events or life-events indicated it is likely to be another dimension of attribution on negative as well as positive life events in Korean culture.

This study is intended to provide a basic clinical data useful for preventing shoulder injuries related to occupation and curing them, by measuring the shoulder muscle activity of normal adults in an arm posture type of a wide shoulder joint angle, according to several differences of hand grip force. In order to examine the shoulder muscle activity during hand grips at a variety of intensity, according to the arm posture type, MVCs of all subjects were measured, and %MVCs of anterior deltoid, supraspinatus, the upper trapezius and infraspinatus at 0 degree, 90 degrees and 160 degrees of shoulder angle were yielded according to the grip force in an arm posture type, changing the maximum grip force into 30%, 50% and 90%, randomly. When measuring the hand grip at 30%, 50% and 70% of the maximum grip force to compare %MVC of each group depending on the arm posture type, there were no significant differences of muscle activity at 0 degree of shoulder angle among anterior deltoid, supraspinatus, the upper trapezius and infraspinatus, but there were significant differences of it among them at 90 degrees and 160 degrees of should angle(p<.001). According to the results of post-hoc test, also, anterior deltoid had the highest muscle activity, whereas the upper trapezius had the lowest muscle activity.

The present work was dealt with the twelve species of orbatid mites from leaves, stems and stubbles of rice( Oryza sativa L). Among them six species, that is, Protoribates agricola, Scheloribates decarinatus, Scheloribates oryzae, Sacculozets filosus, Punctoribates manzanoensis, and Paralamellobates ceylanica are new ones in Korea. The other species are Epilohmannia palida pacifica, Podorbates cuspidatus, Tricogaulumna nipponica, Peloribate sp., Scheloribates sp., Galumna sp.

The human gait pattern analysis shoes have been developed for our healthy lfe, which is largely dependent on a posture and a skeletal structure affected by daily lifestyle and gait pattern. There are generally 3 types of human gait, such as normal gait, intoeing gait, and outtoeing gait. We have analyzed one's gait pattern through walking put on the developed shoes.

This study is canled for tanonomical investigation of Olibatid mites on landscape plan& As the results, thirteen species of Oribatid mites on the plants are described for the first time from Korea. but the harmfulness caused by the mites is not yet proved The mites are Tuberemoeus singularis Sellnick, Zygoribatulo elongoto Hammer. Scahperemaeus yamashitoi Aoki, Oribatula sakamori Aoki, Camis~a segnis (Hemann), Scheloribates Jatipes (Koch), Oppiella nova (Oudemans), Lauroppia neerlondica (Oudemans), Hemileius sp.. Oripodo sp., Twncopes sp.. and Tectocehpeus sp. etc. Among them, Tuberemaeus singularis and Zygoribotulo elongatn are recorded from Korea for the first time And three lalvae are found out at intestine of one specimen of Tuberemoeus singularrs Sellnick which is collected on Cryptomerio japonica D, in Chep (Seoguipo). Therefore, thls mite seems to be ovoviviparous.

이 글은 1959년 도미 이후 현재까지 10여년간 미국에 체재하면서 미국 도서관계에서 많은 활약을 하고 계신 우리나라의 유일한 도서관학 박사이신 김중한 박사께서 지난 5월 국제회의에 참석차 잠시 귀국하여 고국의 관계를 보고 돌아 가신 후 고국의 도서관계가 보다 더 바람직한 내일이 건설되기를 염원하는 뜻으로 집필해 주신 글이다. 다만 현실적으로 아직 실현 시키기에 어려운 것도 없지 않다. 그러나 근대화의 걸음을 재촉하여 총력적인 작업을 추진하고 있는 우리 나라가 급진적으로 사회현상이 발전해 가고 전문화되어 감에 따라 사회가 도서관에 대한 인식이 성열되고 보다 더 적극적인 요구가 부원간 도래할 것이라고 하는 신념을 갖고 있는 우리들에게 새로운 진로가 될 수 있는 좋은 제언이라고 생각한다. 따라서 이 글이 팔자인 김박사께서도 서두에서 밝힌 바와 같이 한국의 도서관 발전 장기계획을 수립하는 데 있어서 대화의 테마와 한 아이디어로 제시하고 있는 만큼 충분하고 객관적인 분석 비판 검토와 연구가 있어야 할 것으로 믿으며, 항상 고국의 관계 발전과 성장을 위해 염려와 격려를 아끼지 않으시는 필자에게 애심으로 감사를 드리는 바이다.

This study is the subsequent full-scale research to explore an undisputed top Korean TV drama writer, Su-Hyeon Kim, more profoundly, who has been out of scholarly pursuits. As it begins with discussing her mixed tendency by genre, we discuss about a useful reading method of the writer's relatively conservative genre, a home-drama. For the purpose of the study, it sets up the intertextuality theory. This study assents to that criticism of diminishing in its original meaning of M. Bakhtin's dialogism, which led J. Kristeva to name and fix the term. Therefore this paper mainly applies the Bakhtin's intertextuality theory to analyze common elements of the writer's and . Also it applies the G. Gennette's intertextuality of 'imprints' and 'transformation' between hypotext and hypertext to figure out their correlation. The analysis shows that the writer's home-drama realizes its mutual relationship and intersubjectivity of the Bakhtin's core intertextuality concept, which results in gaining viewers' popularity. And it also explains that the writer uses 'repetition' and 'transformation' method of intertextuality to contain its intended message in her own home-dramas. As the result of the study, to the writer, Su-Hyeon Kim, while a melodrama genre is for her fundamental inquiry of a 'privative', 'fractured' human being, a home-drama genre is for her message of the only solution of a 'family' to that inquiry with her own intention.
