Design of Food Waste Trading E-Commerce Service with IoT-based Capacity Information Collection (사물인터넷 기반의 용량 정보 수집을 통한 음식물 쓰레기 전자상거래 서비스의 설계)

  • This paper proposes an E-Commerce service that supports large quantities of food waste sales generated by collective residences, including apartments, to consumers in urban areas, such as livestock farmers, through online transactions. Unlike general E-Commerce, the proposed service uses a smart food waste bin equipped with an IoT-based sensor and communication module to automatically collect the location information of each apartment and the amount of food waste to be displayed in a specialized E-Commerce platform. The key of this system is to provide information and sell it to consumers. The smart food waste bin periodically delivers its current capacity and location using a weight sensor, GPS sensor and LoRa communication module to a cloud-based database to be used in web or mobile applications. The proposed E-Commerce service is expected to help resolve the food waste disposal problem and revitalize the local economy by linking with a service that delivers food waste from each apartment to a nearby location where the buyer is located.

  • 최근 인터넷 사용 증가는 물론 그에 따른 인터넷 사이트의 증가가 가히 폭발적이라고 할 수 있다. 전자상거래도 인터넷 사용증가에 힘입어 더욱 증가 추세에 있으며 관광산업 또한 예외는 아니다. 호텔에서도 웹사이트를 구축하여 온라인 예약과 각종 서비스에 필요한 정보를 제공하고 있으며 점차 온라인 예약이 증가추세이다. 하지만 인터넷 웹사이트의 급격한 증가는 풍부하고 다양한 정보를 제공한다는 긍정적인 면과 함께 정보과다(information overload)로 인해 정보 검색 등에 많은 시간과 비용이 요구되는 문제를 낳았다. 위와 같은 환경에서 사용자를 대신하여 원하는 정보를 찾아주는 역할을 수행하는 에이전트(agent)의 개념이 도입되었다. 현재 전자상거래 분야에서 활용 중인 에이전트는 구매자가 직접 판매자와 접촉하여 자신에게 필요한 여러 가지정보를 얻고 필요에 따라서는 협상 등을 진행한 후 최종 거래를 성사시키는 ‘사람과 사람간의 일 대 일 거래 과정’중 일부분만을 지원하고 있는 실정이다. 이와 같은 현존 에이전트의 문제점을 보완하기 위해서 구매자와 판매자를 대표하는 에이전트를 개발하고 이들 에이전트간의 직접적인 정보교환, 가격협상 및 이를 바탕으로 한 의사결정까지의 거래 모델을 수립하는 것이 필요하다고 인식된다. 따라서 본 연구는 인터넷상에서 구매자와 판매자간의 거래를 대행하는 인터넷 다중 에이전트(Internet Multi-Agents)의 개발을 위한 개념적 거래 모델을 연구하고, 이를 호텔 예약 분야에 응용하기 위한 각 에이전트의 필요 조건 및 기능을 제시하고자 한다.

Ontology describing Process Information for Web Services Discovery (웹 서비스 발견을 위해 프로세스 정보를 기술하는 온톨로지)

  • Until now, most semantic web service discovery research has been carried out using either Web Service Modeling Ontology (WSMO) or a profile of OWL-based Web Service ontology (OWL-S). However, such efforts have focused primarily on service name and input/output ontology. Thus, the internal information of a service has not been utilized, and queries regarding internal information such as 'Find book-selling services allowing payment after delivery' are not addressed. This study outlines the development of TM-S (Topic Maps for Service) ontology and TMS-QL (TM-S Query Language), two novel technologies that address the aforementioned issues in semantic web service discovery research. TM-S ontology describes the behavior of services using process information and consists of three sub-ontologies: process signature ontology, process structure ontology and process concept ontology. TMS-QL allows users to describe service discovery requests.

  • 무선인터넷의 비약적인 발전에 힘입어, 이동통신 단말기를 위한 이동통신서비스가 급격히 증가하고 있다. 특히 온라인이나 오프라인상에서 물품을 판매하거나, 정보서비스를 제공하는 무선전자상거래 시장이 빠른 속도로 성장하고 있으며, 무선전자상거래가 성공적으로 이루어지기 위한 무선 결제 시스템이 요구되기 시작하였다. 기존의 무선 결제 시스템은 스마트 카드를 이동통신 단말기에 탑재하여 결제하는 방식이었으며, 반드시 스마트 카드를 이동통신 단말기에 탑재해야 하는 번거로움과 제 3 자에 의한 오남용을 막을 수 없는 단점을 지니고 있다. 본 논문에서는 소프트웨어 다운로드 솔루션을 기반으로 한 GVM(General Virtual Machine)상에서 실행될 수 있는 모바일 C 기반의 무선 결제 시스템을 제안하고자 한다. 제안하는 무선 결제 시스템은 모두 3 개의 모듈로 구성되어 있으며, 개인 정보 관리 모듈에서는 공인인증서와 개인의 신용정보를 단말기에 다운로드 받아 저장한다. 사용자 상호 작용 모듈에서는 유저 인터페이스를 통하여 결제금액과 개인 인증 번호를 입력 받으며, 암호화 모듈에서는 공인인증서의 암호화 알고리즘을 적용하여 결제금액과 개인 인증 번호를 암호화한 후 서버로 전송한다.

  • The ice machine is the machine for making ice. As most of the companies that manufactures and sells the ice machine are small and medium-sized companies, they have been they have been experiencing the trouble for the after-sales service after selling the machine. The difficulties of the after-sales service are mostly caused by unnecessary customer service requests of the purchaser, which eventually leads to the unnecessary expenditure of the seller and the purchaser. However, financially, the poor ice machine manufacturers want to reduce this cost as much as possible. Furthermore, even if they want to sell their products overseas, they are hesitating because of the after-sales service. For this reason, the companies making the ice machine need a system which checks the status of the ice machine and takes the proper actions without the visiting service. Therefore, this paper introduces the remote control and operational status monitoring systems which can monitor the status of the ice machine in the remote area and control it as needed. Through the developed system, the company manufacturing the ice machine and the manager of the ice machine can understand the current status of the ice machine and respond against the ice machine's trouble, immediately. In addition, it can be expected to have great effects on cost reduction because the maintenance and management after selling can be efficiently performed.

A Study on Factors Affecting Purpose of Tour and Shopping Motivation of Korea Visit Chinese Tourists (Focused on Duty Free Shopper) (한국방문 중국인들의 여행형태와 쇼핑행동에 미치는 영향분석)

  • 본 연구에서는 최근 국내 면세점에서의 중요도가 급성장하고 있는 한국방문 중국인 면세점 구매객들을 대상으로 여행형태와 쇼핑행동에 미치는 영향을 분석하였으며, 다음과 같이 중요한 세 가지 의미있는 구매특성을 분석할 수 있었다. 첫째, 인구통계학적인 측면에서는 한국방문 중국인 관광객 면세점 이용행태에 관한 결과이다. 여행목적에 있어서는 휴양/관광이 72.9%로 절반이상을 차지하였다. 또한 전체 응답자의 약 40%가 3시간 이상의 쇼핑 시간을, 1시간 이상 2시간미만은 30%, 그리고 2시간 이상 3시간미만은 약 24%, 그리고 1시간미만은 전체 응답자의 약 6%가 쇼핑을 즐겼다. 특이한 점은 시간에 따른 쇼핑 지출액이 다르다는 것이다. 둘째, 한국 방문 후 면세점을 이용하는 중국인 관광객에게 상품의 브랜드(Quality of the brand)와 종류(Kinds of brand)에 따라 중국인들의 면세점내 구매의도 활성화가 더욱 진행됨을 확인할 수 있었다. 셋째, 한국을 방문하여 면세점을 이용하는 중국인 관광객들은 면세품 쇼핑 시 매장판매 직원 전문성에 대한 서비스 만족도가 증가할수록 충성도가 이에 비례하여 상승함을 파악할 수 있었다. 이와 같은 분석 결과에도 있듯이 면세점 쇼핑 활성화를 위해 가격 및 제품 경쟁력을 확보하고 고급브랜드를 공격적으로 유치하여 판매직원들의 전문성을 증대시키는 노력이 매우 중요한 마케팅 전략의 핵심인 것으로 나타났다.

  • Public Performance in Copyright Law is a wider concept, which people generally think. It includes the presentation of a work to the public by acting, musical playing, singing, narrating as well as even the act of mechanical playing phonogram and cinematographic work. Article 29 in Korean Copyright Act is the restriction of an author's public performance right. It shall be permissible to perform publicly or broadcast a work already made public for nonprofit purposes and without charging any fees to audience, spectators, or third parties, provided that the performers concerned are not paid any remuneration for such performances. Commercial phonograms or cinematographic works may be played back for the public, if no fee is charged to the audience or spectators, except in cases as set forth by Presidential Decree. In recent year, public performance in libraries became a major issue of the Copyright Law. It is a claim that watching cinematographic works in libraries is one of the act that should apply public performance right, thus to use commercial cinematographic works before six months, which was published, need permission to copyright owners. But this claim is unfair because it can make impossible normal library service. Thus there is a need to revise the Copyright Law to understand the difference between act of viewing and public performance in libraries.

  • The aim of this paper was to study the theoretical background of the convention industry firstly, in which will serve to seek for more efficient plan of promotion. As a result of it, it is found that the convention industry has the characteristics similar to service industry rather than manufacturing, as well as complicated, interdependent ones which are closely related to every field of industries. This paper also considers the advertising, human marketing, and public relations as measures of promoting the convention industry in order to maximize its promotion activities with the characteristics of service industry and establish the plan of promoting the industry. For the effective adoption of these measures in the convention industry, the measures is analyzed by considering the properties and degrees of some convention centers respectively after the strength and weakness of each measure shall be compared. As these measures are mostly shore-run projects, there will be necessary to keep in close touch with other complementary measures in adoption of measures of promotion.

A WordNet-based Open Market Category Search System for Efficient Goods Registration (효율적인 상품등록을 위한 워드넷 기반의 오픈마켓 카테고리 검색 시스템)

  • Open Market is one of the key factors to accelerate the profit. Usually retailers sell items in several Open Market. One of the challenges for retailers is to assign categories of items with different classification systems. In this research, we propose an item category recommendation method to support appropriate products category registration. Our recommendations are based on semantic relation between existing and any other Open Market categorization. In order to analyze correlations of categories, we use Morpheme analysis, Korean Wiki Dictionary, WordNet and Google Translation API. Our proposed method recommends a category, which is most similar to a guide word by measuring semantic similarity. The experimental results show that, our system improves the system accuracy in term of search category, and retailers can easily select the appropriate categories from our proposed method.

U.S. Rules on Enhancing Airline Passenger Protections (미국 연방법규상 항공여객보호제도에 관한 연구)

  • Recently, U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) expanded the "Enhancing Airline Passenger Protections" on August 23, 2011 and October 24, 2011. The Rule regulates tarmac delays, denied boarding compensation, customer service plans, and fare advertising. The adopted rule is to protect passengers by improving passenger service requirements on U.S. national or domestic carriers and foreign air carriers as well. The major issues are as follows: First, regarding to so called Tarmac Delay, carriers must establish a Tarmac Delay Contingency Plan setting forth the number of hours the carrier will permit an aircraft to remain on the tarmac at U.S. airports before allowing passengers to deplane. Carriers also must provide passengers with food and water in the event the aircraft remains on the tarmac for two or more hours and must provide operable lavatories and medical attention while the aircraft remains on the tarmac, irrespective of the length of the delay. Carriers also must create and retain records regarding tarmac delays lasting more than three hours. Also they need to update passengers every 30 minutes during a tarmac delay of the status of the flight and the reason for the delay, allow passengers to deplane if the aircraft is at the gate or another disembarkation area with the door open. Second, carriers now must adopt a "Customer Service Plan" that addresses offering customers the lowest fares available, notifying customers about delays, cancellations, and diversions; timely delivery of baggage; accommodating passengers' needs during tarmac delays and in "bumping cases"; and ensuring quality customer service. Third, the new regulations also increase minimum denied boarding compensation limits to $650 / $1,300 or 200% / 400% of the fare, whichever is less. Last, the DOT also has modified its policies related to enforcement of Rules pertaining to full fare advertising. The Rule states that the advertised price for air transportation must be the entire price to be paid by the customer. Similarly, Korea revised the passenger protection clauses within Aviation Act. However, it seems to be required to include various more issues such as Tarmac Delay, oversales of air tickets, involuntary denied boarding passengers, advertisements, etc.
