The purpose of this study was to identify images of saleswomen by uniform and body type and to determine if the images have an effect on customer satisfaction and revisiting intention. This study was conducted between February 10th and February 23rd 2015, using a questionnaire to collect data from 608 adults from Seoul, Deajeon, and Chungnam Province. A $2{\times}2$ (body $type{\times}clothes$) factorial experimental design was used. Frequency, factor, and reliability analysis, analysis of variance, one-way ANOVA, Tukey test, and multiple regression analysis methods were used to analyze data. The study results were as follows: First, images of saleswomen with different uniform and body types were classified based on the following three factors: professionalism, kindness and attractiveness. Second, the saleswomen's uniforms had significant impact on perceived attractiveness, with women who wore skirt suits being identified as more attractive than women with pant suits. The saleswomen's body types had significant effect on professionalism, kindness and attractiveness. Women with average body types were perceived positively in terms of professionalism and attractiveness, whilst women with large body types were perceived positively in terms of kindness. Third, the combination of uniform and body type had a significant effect on perceived professionalism. Women with average body types wearing pant suits were perceived to have high degree of professionalism and women with large body types wearing skirt suits were evaluated to have high professionalism. Fourth, the images described as attractive and kind for both uniform and body type had a positive influences on customer satisfaction and revisiting intention.
Traveling Salesman Problem(TSP) is a combinational optimization problem, Genetic Algorithm(GA) and Lin-Kernighan(LK) Heuristic[1]that is Local Search Heuristic are one of the most commonly used methods to resolve TSP. In this paper, we introduce ACS(Ant Colony System) Algorithm as another approach to solve TSP and propose a new pheromone updating method. ACS uses pheromone information between cities in the Process where many ants make a tour, and is a method to find a optimal solution through recursive tour creation process. At the stage of Global Updating of ACS method, it updates pheromone of edges belonging to global best tour of created all edge. But we perform once more pheromone update about created all edges before global updating rule of original ACS is applied. At this process, we use the frequency of occurrence of each edges to update pheromone. We could offer stochastic value by pheromone about each edges, giving all edges' occurrence frequency as weight about Pheromone. This finds an optimal solution faster than existing ACS algorithm and prevent a local optima using more edges in next time search.

Retail stores with a primary competitive advantage in satisfying customers with high quality differentiated services depend heavily on a sales force to produce and deliver services in a consistent manner. Salespersons in a high service retail context are required to act to express certain types of emotion in compliance with the emotional rules of the organization that is conceptualized as "emotional labor" in the literature. This study adopts the dyadic model of emotional labor originally proposed by Hochschild. A survey method is implemented to collect data to test the hypotheses among the variables such as positive and negative affectivity, performance stressor, emotional labor, burnout, and job satisfaction. One hundred and twelve responses were analyzed by factor analysis and path analysis with SPSS12.0 and Amos 6.0. The factor analysis confirms that emotional labor is composed of deep acting and surface acting. Eleven hypotheses were tested by path analysis and seven were accepted. The major findings are that deep acting was affected by positive affectivity, negative affectivity, and a performance stressor. The surface acting was affected only by negative affectivity. Surface acting had an indirect negative effect on job satisfaction via emotional burnout while deep directly acting influenced job satisfaction. Furthermore, the interaction effect between positive affectivity and a performance stressor on surface acting was significant. The implications for retail firms are discussed based on the findings with suggestions for future studies.
The main purpose of this research is to investigate the present circumstances of internal marketing in domestic apparel-import company and study if the internal marketing activities in import apparel company have a significant effect on salespersons' job satisfaction. As a preliminary investigation, the interviews with 6 expert salespersons of imported apparel company were taken to develop a practical measuring tool. As a result, 21 categories which effect on internal marketing and 6 factors which influence on job satisfaction were extracted. Next, a survey with the salespersons who work in apparel-import company was taken, and 186 collected data were used in this study. To analyze the data, factor analysis, frequency analysis, and multiple regression analysis are executed by a statistics package, SPSS v12.0. The results are as follows. First, five factors which effect on internal marketing activities in have been identified as welfare, incentives, employment & training, communication, empowerment. Among them, four factors of welfare, incentives, employment & training, and communication have been come out as statistically significant factors which influenced on salesperson's job satisfaction. Second, the internal marketing activities of import apparel company according to salesperson's demographic factors - payment, working periods, and marriage have been demonstrated significant difference on salespersons' job satisfaction. When the marriage is examined, the job satisfaction of the single mostly depends on incentives while that of the married does on welfare. On the consideration of working periods, the less does the group have working experience, the more does it have a dependence on incentives. On the other hand, the group which has much payment and experience mostly relies on welfare. The middle class show to be dependent on communication and employment&training as well as welfare and incentives.
The primary purpose of this study is to examine the effects of customer satisfaction and switching barrier on customer retention and intention of WOM in insurance services. Based on relevant literature reviews, this study posits three switching barrier characteristics, that is, switching costs, attractiveness of alternatives and interpersonal relationship as key determinants of customer retention and intention of WOM. And then we structured a research model and hypotheses about relationship between these variables. A total 230 usable survey responses of life insurance service users have been employed in the analysis. The major findings from the data analyses are as follows. Firstly, customer satisfaction had a positive influence upon customer retention and intention of WOM. Secondly, two switching barrier characteristics of switching costs and interpersonal relationship had a positive influence upon customer retention. Lastly, customer retention had very significantly related to intention of WOM in insurance services. From this study, we expect to suggest practical and managerial implications to insurance service providers.

The competition among insurance companies has become increasingly intense driven by the recent changes in financial environment. In this study, we (i) categorize the quality of life insurance services into the core service, relational services, and additional services, (ii) assess the impact of each service on repurchase intension, and (iii) investigate if customer satisfaction has a mediating effect. The research subjects are 215 life insurance customers who were selected from an online survey respondent population. Based on the analysis we performed by utilizing the SPSS 18.0, we concluded that (i) maintaining service of the core services, internal relationship of service personnel and insurance salesmen of the relational service and additional services have a positive impact on repurchase intention and (ii) In the relationships between repurchase intentions, the customer satisfaction is fully mediated by maintaining service and insurance salesman and partially mediated by additional service. The results of this study can be meaningful for both industry and academia, because these results can be utilized as useful evidence in understanding selection behavior of life insurance customers and deriving various strategies in business environment.
The purpose of this study was to empirically examine the effects of salespeople's self-determination, shared value; and communication satisfaction on their job satisfaction, organizational commitment, and turnover intention in a fashion company. Questionnaires were administered to 475 salespeople who worked in fashion shop at the time of the study. The data was analyzed via factor analysis, correlation analysis, and a structural equation model. The results indicated that self-determination was extracted as autonomy, competence, and relatedness. Only the relatedness of self-determination factors was positively correlated with formal and informal communication satisfaction. In addition, recognizing hared value was positively correlated with formal and informal communication satisfaction; whereas, the practice of shared value was positively correlated with formal, but not informal communication satisfaction. Formal communication satisfaction was significantly correlated with job satisfaction and organizational commitment. Conversely, informal communication satisfaction was significantly correlated with job satisfaction, but was not related to organizational commitment. Finally, job satisfaction was significantly correlated with organizational commitment and negatively correlated with turnover intention. Moreover, organizational commitment was negatively correlated with turnover intention. The implications of this research for human resources management within fashion companies are discussed in the concluding section of this paper.

This study classifies the lifestyle of elderly female consumers in their 60's and 70's and examines the influence of lifestyles on personal clothing purchase behavior. This paper classified the types of lifestyle and examined the influence of lifestyle types on the perceived importance of salesperson's characteristics and store evaluation criteria. A survey was conducted on 194 elderly females in their 60's and 70's living in Seoul. The SPSS 14.0 program was used to analyze the data. Descriptive statistics, factor analysis, reliability analysis, K-means cluster analysis, and one-way ANOVA followed by Duncan post hoc comparisons were conducted. The research results are as follow. First, in order to identify the lifestyle factors of elderly female consumers a factor analysis was conducted that indicated 9 factors. Second, as a result of the cluster analysis of lifestyle types, the respondents were classified into 'proactives', 'passive stagnants', 'independent misers', and 'conservative consumers'. Third, according to lifestyle, weight on 'appearance and image', 'professionalism', 'ethics', 'similarity', and 'customer orientation' abilities of the salesperson were significantly different. Fourth, in relation to the store evaluation criteria by lifestyle, a significant difference was found in the attention to 'physical service' by a salesperson.

Message sidedness of fashion salespersons on consumer behavior with the consideration of the mediating roles of trust and cognitive efforts, and the moderation of a regulatory focus of consumers. Two scenarios were devised, a single message in which a salesperson explains only the advantages of a product to customers, and the second with a double message that explains both the advantages and drawbacks of the product. The results showed that participants trusted a fashion salesperson more and perceived stronger cognitive effort for two-sided messages. The two-sided messages mediated the consumer's trust in the salesperson and cognitive effort, and influenced consumers' buying behavior. This study also found that salesperson trust was stronger in the two-sided messages scenario than in the one-sided message scenario, regardless of consumers' focused preference, and that it was more effective for promotion focus customers. The analysis of the results on consumers' cognitive effort indicated that prevention focused customers did not exhibit any difference in cognitive effort concerning two-sided messages. However, promotion focused customers exhibited an increased cognitive effort in the two-sided message scenario than in the one-sided message scenario. Marketing implications were discussed based on the findings.

The purpose of this study was to classify the types of salespeople in the apparel stores. A questionnaire was administered to 267 fashion sales related persons in apparel store in downtown, Daegu. Data were analyzed by using frequency, i-test, cluster analysis, MANOVA, ANOVA and Duncan test by using J.M.p(v.2.01) Mac. program and SAS for windows(v. 6.02) PC program. The results of this study were as follows: The types of salespeople were classified into 4 types: "complaining type as a salespeople", "sensitive type for other affairs than their duty", "satisfying as a salespeople" and "performance reaction type". There were significant differences in academic background, selling apparel type/apparel store type, and in all factors in job satisfaction/dissatisfaction, attitude toward working condition, customer type, and selling training by the different types of salespeople. Complaining type as a salespeople were dissatisfied with most items related with job attitude and showed negative response as salespeople. Sensitive type for other affairs than their duty responded more keenly to other affairs than their duty and showed the highest dissatisfaction on the job dissatisfaction factors, and showed the most emotional reaction on attitude toward working condition, customer type, and regulation. Satisfying type as salespeople showed the positive and active attitude for their job. Performance reaction type were satisfied with their job as salespeople only when their performance is tangible as sales increases and showed highest satisfaction only on the job satisfaction factors. The necessity of professional training was shown in all types of salespeople.g was shown in all types of salespeople.
