The purpose of this research is to investigate a way to increase interoperability between information systems. We proposed a technical reference model (TRM) and a standard profile (SP) that are components of ITA as tools to secure information system interoperability. First, we composed TRM by choosing technology field that need standardization for information system interoperability. And, we choose standards to apply in each technology field of TRM as a interoperability common SP.

DMB-AF(DMB Application Format) 표준[1]은 MPEG-A라 불리는 MPEG 응용 포맷 표준 중 하나로서 2008년 8월 15일 발간된 ISO/IEC 23000-9 국제표준이다. DMB-AF는 지상파 DMB와 위성 DMB의 모든 콘텐트를 저장할 수 있는 파일 포맷으로서, 콘텐트 메타데이터를 포함할 뿐만 아니라 콘텐트 보호 및 관리 기능도 포함하고 있어 DMB 콘텐트 파일을 보호된 형태로 전자적 유통이 가능하며 DRM(Digital Rights Management) 기능을 통해 그 사용을 관리할 수 있다. 다른 MPEG 표준들과 마찬가지로 DMB-AF 표준에 대한 적합성 시험 규정(Conformance)과 참조 소프트웨어(Reference SW)는 표준 본문 제정 이후 진행되어 왔으며, 다른 MPEG 표준과 달리 MPEG-A에 속하는 표준들의 경우, 별도의 표준 문서로 발간되지 않고 해당 표준의 개정판에 추가되도록 되어 있다. 본 논문에서는 2010년 1월 91차 MPEG 회의에서 최종 승인된 DMB-AF 표준개정안에 포함된 적합성 시험 파일과 참조 SW 개발에 대해 설명한다.

In this paper, we propose the structure of multimedia file format based on MPEG-21 standard and the method to address a media resource within the file. The proposed multimedia file format supports the backward compatibility with MPEG-4 and the efficient addressing a media resource from a Digital Item that is XML-based MPEG-21 content. Also, the proposed multimedia file format can provide the functionality to package various types of media contents structurally and efficiently in digital broadcasting, Internet, and wireless environment. In addition, it can be a base model for multimedia file format that can be used for many different purposes such as integration and usage of metadata and multimedia contents.

ITA (Information Technology Architecture) satisfies the requirements of information system, supports the information used in the institution's business to guarantee the interoperability and security, and analyzes the components of information system. ITA consists of EA (Enterprise Architecture), TRM (Technical Reference Manual) and SP (Standard Profile). The SP, one of the major components of ITA, is a set of information technology standards. In this paper, to construct and utilize the ITA, we mention the applications of information technology about the SP system implementation based on the TRM. The SP management system implemented in this paper is the first trial in Korea, and designs the software with object oriented programming languages such as JSP and Java. Moreover the basic and detailed specification based on the UML notation, system design using the component and system design pattern consisting of software architectures enhance the software reusability. And the constructed system in this paper shows less maintenance cost by using the public softwares such as Linux system, Korean DBMS, Apache and Tomcat, etc. Finally, the system includes the SP reference system which is used in the other institutions and cannot be found in other institutions. Also it includes the additional diverse service modules which support the subsequent processing for the establishment and revision of standards via internet.

본 논문에서는 MPEG-21 에서 정의한 디지털아이템의 파일 포맷의 구조 및 방법을 멀티미디어 파일 포맷으로 제안하였다. 제안한 방법은 디지털아이템을 이진화하는 방법 및 기능, XML로 구성된 디지털아이템 선언(Digital Item Declaration)에서 미디어 리소스를 참조하는 방법 등이다. 제안한 멀티미디어 파일 포맷은 디지털방송, 무선통신, 인터넷 환경에서의 다양한 형태의 컨텐츠들을 효과적이고 체계적으로 조합할 수 있는 기능 및 효과적인 전송 기능을 제공하며, 향후 xml 기반 메타데이터와 미디어리소스를 포함하는 멀티미디어 컨텐츠의 파일 포맷에 대한 참고 모델로서 사용될 수 있다.

In the mobile computing environment, in order to make copies of important files available when being disconnected the mobile host(client) must store them in its local cache while the connection is maintained. In this paper, we propose the prefetching mechanism for the client to save files which may be accessed in the near future. Our mechanism utilizes analyzer, prefetch-list producer, and prefetch manager. The analyzer records file access patterns of the user in a FAP(File Access Patterns) profile. Using the profile, the prefetch-list producer creates the prefetch-list. The prefetch manager requests a file server to return this list. We set the parameter TRP(Threshold of Reference Probability) to ensure that only reasonably related files can be prefetched. The prefetch-list producer adds the files to a prefetch-list if their reference probability is greater than the TRP. We also use the parameter TACP(Threshold of Access Counter Probability) to reduce the hoarding size required to store a prefetch-list. Finally, we measure the metrics such as the cache hit ratio, the number of files referenced by the client after disconnection and the hoarding size. The simulation results show that the performance of our mechanism is superior to that of the LRU caching mechanism. Our results also show that prefetching with the TACP can reduce the hoard size while maintaining similar performance of prefetching without TACP.

This paper analyzes file access characteristics of smartphone apps and finds that a large portion of file writes are performed only once. Based on this observation, we present a new buffer cache management scheme that considers this characteristics. Buffer cache improves storage performance by maintaining hot file data in memory thereby servicing subsequent requests without storage accesses. However, it should flush modified data to storage in order to resist system crashes. The proposed scheme evicts cache data that has been written only once upon flushes, thus improving cache space utilization. Simulation experiments show that the proposed scheme improves cache hit ratio by 5-33% and power consumption by 27-92%.

Analyze semantic of files recorded in the user's computer file system based on C++ program language which pursue modularization program and object-oriented programming language. And this refers to it, it design that clustering semantic of filename with thesaurus for user convenience. WTPM makes User Write Files into Cluster with thesaurus semantic structure and reserved words. WTPM process has designed for Icon file's display Mashup structure and implemented by automation algorithm of classification.

The files of intellectual property on computer systems have increasingly been exposed to such threats that they can be flowed out by internal users or outer attacks through the network. The File Outflow Protection System detects file outflow when users not only copy files on client computers into storage devices, but also print them. This Protection system has been designed to Win32 API hooking by I/O Manager in kernel level if files are flowed out by copying. As a result, the monitoring system has exactly detected file outflows, which is proved through testing.

자바는 임베디드 시스템을 프로그램 하기에 매력적인 언어와 플랫폼으로 인식되어져 왔다. 그러나 잉베디드 자바의 메모리와 프로세서 한계점을 가지고 임베디드 자바에 표준 자바 클래스 파일을 적용하기에는 적당하지 않다. 본 논문에서는 타겟디바이스에서 바이트 코드를 수행하기 전에 심볼레퍼런스 정보를 실제 주소로 바꾸기 위해 프리레졸루션을 사용하여 실행시간을 줄일 수 있는 효율적인 메소드를 제안하였다. 클래스 파일에서 컨스턴트풀의 사이즈를 알기 위해서 13개의 클래스 파일들을 시험하였다. 본 프리레졸루션은 원래 사이즈의 92% 정도 전체적인 메모리 footprint를 줄였다. 또한, 메모리 참조 횟수도 감소시켰다.
