장보고 시설사업에서의 실시간 파고예측시스템 개발 및 적용

  • 대규모 해군 사업인 장보고-III 시설사업의 간략한 사업개요와 공사시 또는 완공후의 원활한 시설운용을 위한 파고예측시스템을 개발 및 적용하였다. 진해만의 지리적 특성을 고려하여 풍파가 주요파라메타로 설정하였으며, 인근 기상대 바람예보 자료를 활용하여 주요지점에 대해 파고를 예측할 수 있는 시스템을 개발하였으며, 향후 공사시 활용할 수 있다. 또한, 특정사업 및 특정 지역에 대한 간략 파고예측시스템의 제작으로 시공 및 현장에 유익한 정보 전달이 가능하다.

  • A GPS based wave height meter system is proposed in this paper. The proposed system uses a dual-frequency measurements, a precise GPS satellite information and a PPP-based navigation algorithm to estimate the position with high accuracy. This method does not need to receive corrections from the reference stations. Therefore, unlike RTK based wave meter, regardless of the distance to the reference stations, it is possible to estimate position with high accuracy. This system is very simple and accurate system, but accelerometer-based system requires the other sensors such as GPS. Because position error is accumulated in the accelerometer system and must be removed periodically for high accuracy. In order to get the measurements and test the proposed wave height meter system, a buoy equipped with the test platform is installed on the sea near by Jukbyeon habor in Uljin, Korea. Then, to evaluate the performance, compares built-in commercial wave height meter with proposed system.

  • Withstanding the continuous treat from the typhoon and nasty weather from ocean, the development of the real time monitoring buoy such as ocean wave related monitoring buoy system becomes essential. In this research, the development of the ocean wave monitoring buoy system had been done domestically. The development including the data real-time monitoring (wind, temperature and pressure) added in the buoy, buoy mooring and real-time data communication system. The developed wave monitoring buoy system (drift type, wave direction and wave height type) is expected to meet the demands.

  • We propose a smart ocean meteorological observation system which is capable of real-time measurement of vulnerable marine climate and oceanographic conditions. Besides, imported products have several disadvantages such that they can't be measured for a long time and can't transmit data in real time. In the proposed system, smart ocean observation digging system, it observes real-time ocean weather with data logger methods. Furthermore, we also use existing dataloggers functions with various sensors which are available in the ocean at the same time. Also, we applied the Kalman-filter algorithm to the ocean crest measurement to reduce the noise and increase the accuracy of the real-time wave height measurement. In the experiment, we experimented the proposed system with our proposed algorithms through calibration devices in the real ocean environment. Then we compared the proposed system with and without the algorithms. As a result, the system developed with a lithium iron phosphate battery that can be charged by a system used in the ocean and minimized power consumption by using an RTC based timer for optimal use. Besides, we obtained optimal battery usage and measured values through experiments based on the measurement cycle.

  • In order to verify the accuracy of wave measurement of the wave instrumentation system using X-band navigation radar, The validity of the results was obtained by analyzing the significant wave height around Ulleungdo. Especially, The correlations between the radar, wave height buoy and marine buoy for wave measurements were analyzed in season.

  • We propose a marine observation system using existing light buoys to observe various marine information of marine locations. Our proposed ocean observation system is composed of the existing standard light buoy type and can be easily connected to the light buoy. The proposed marine observation system measures the mean wave height, maximum wave height, mean wave height and water temperature measured in the ocean. Besides, it can measure the air pressure, temperature, wind speed and wind speed in real time. In order to measure important peaks in marine observations, 2200 peak data are collected for 10 minutes, and the collected data are subjected to spectral analysis to extract significant wave and wave period data. The developed system removes the noise by using the filter because the marine observation system attaches to the light buoy. We compare and analyze the measurement data of the existing proven floating marine observation system and the standard equivalent system developed. Also, it is proved that the data of the standard type backbone ocean observation system developed through the comparative experiment is similar to that of the existing ocean observation system.

항주파 파고 감쇄의 부소파제에 대한 실해상 실험 연구

  • 마리나 시설 내 계류된 선박 및 레저장비를 악천 후 해상상태와 선박 운항에 의해 발생된 파로부터 장비 및 인명의 안전을 위한 파 제거 장치가 필요하다. 본 연구에서는 국내 각 지자체의 수요에 부응하고 시설 및 인명의 안전을 위한 소파 시스템개발을 목적으로 시제품 제작(설계, 해석, 수조시험 등 수행완료)하였다. 실해상 성능시험에서 항주파의 발생을 위해 시험선박 선정하였으며, 소파장치 전후의 파고계측 등을 위해 부가물을 계측하여 파고를 촬영 및 계측하였다. 개발된 소파장치의 실해상 시험임을 감안해 해상 주위의 조류, 풍속, 인근 해역에서 오는 파랑변형 등에 따른 파랑요소를 고려하여 시험하였다. 부소파제는 약 40~80% 의 에너지 감소율을 보였으며, 유의파고 조건에서 42%의 에너지 감소율을 보였다.

  • A digital 6-dof motion measuring system is developed using 7 accelerometers following Miles'[1] method. A snoic wave height gauge is also developed to measure the relative wave height at the foremost end of the ship. By combining the time series of both 6-dof motions and relative wave height, we can estimate the time series of real sea wave. Results of model tests shows the validity of the developed system.

  • Most of studies on wave height algorithms that are using at buoys describe algorithms using double integral to determine the position data from the acceleration data measured from the accelerometer. but sometimes, it can involve some cumulative error in that process, and result in misjudgment or unstabe system. On the other hand, It is widely known that the motion of fluid particles on or underneath a linear progressive wave is periodic and elliptic. This fact is considered in this article and leads a improved algorithms with no integral processing.
