  • It is important to exercise in the correct posture in order to increase the exercise effect of the core exercise. This paper introduces a system that can train an exercise posture by providing feedback so that a user who performs core exercise in a virtual reality environment can take an accurate posture. It targeted three core movement postures, such as squat, lunge, and bridge, and provides visual feedback and haptic feedback to the user to take an accurate posture. The reference posture is generated by adjusting the expert's posture to the user's body length, and the accuracy of the exercise posture is calculated by comparing the user's posture with the reference posture. The effectiveness of the feedback was verified through user experiments, and the training effects according to the design of the feedback were compared.

  • The purpose of the this study was to examine the effects of 12 weeks of regular aerobic exercise training on hepatic enzymes in type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) patients. The subjects consisted of 13 middle-aged male type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) patients, all of whom had no other complications. Subjects participated in regular aerobic exercise training for 12 weeks, in which they started to exercise for $20{\sim}60$ min, at $60{\sim}80$% $HR_{max}$ (exercise intensity was increased gradually), per day, $3{\sim}5$ times a weeks. The results after 12 weeks were compared to baseline values. Weight and BMI, %body fat, and fasting glucose significantly decreased, and $_{peak}VO_{2}$, exercise time (ET) significantly increased after 12 weeks of aerobic exercise training. On the other hand, there were no significant differences in hepatic enzymes of Albumin, Total bilirubin, Alkaline phosphatate, AST, and ALT after training compared to baseline values. Conclusively, 12 weeks of aerobic exercise training may result in a decrease of insulin resistance factors (Weight, BMI, % body fat, fasting glucose) and an increase of aerobic capacity, but hepatic enzymes did not significantly decrease in middle age T2DM patients.

  • In the paper, we propose the methodology to extract training dataset automatically for supervised classification of road networks. For the preprocessing, we co-register the airborne photos, LIDAR data and large-scale digital maps and then, create orthophotos and intensity images. By overlaying the large-scale digital maps onto generated images, we can extract the initial training dataset for the supervised classification of road networks. However, the initial training information is distorted because there are errors propagated from registration process and, also, there are generally various objects in the road networks such as asphalt, road marks, vegetation, cars and so on. As such, to generate the training information only for the road surface, we apply the Expectation Maximization technique and finally, extract the training dataset of the road surface. For the accuracy test, we compare the training dataset with manually extracted ones. Through the statistical tests, we can identify that the developed method is valid.

  • The purpose of this study is to examine how to relate with hypothalamus protein BDNF and mRNA leptin expression, and test the effect of exercise training upon anti-obesity in high-fat induced obese rats. Weight and plasma TC of the high-fat diet group (HF) significantly reduced in comparison to those in the high-fat diet and training group (HF-T), high-fat diet and normal diet group (HF-ND), and high-fat diet, training, and normal diet group (HF-ND+T) (P<0.05). Plasm TG of the HF group significantly decreased in comparison to the HF-ND+T group (P< 0.05). The plasma leptin level significantly reduced in the HF-T group in comparison to the HF group, in the HF-ND group compared to the HF-T group, and the HF-ND+T group in comparison to the HF-ND group (P<0.05, respectively). All groups were significantly increased in hypothalamus BDNF protein expression in comparison to the HF group. In hypothalamus leptin mRNA expression, the HF-T and HF-ND groups reduced, but the HF-NF+T group increased in comparison to the HF group. This result suggests that it shows the effect of exercise training upon anti-obesity in high-fat diet induced obese rats and the combined exercise and/or normal diet may affect the optimal obesity improvement and prevention in appetite and weight control.

  • This study mainly focuses on evaluating how the triangular training operator could improve classification accuracy in SAR(Synthetic Aperture Radar) and VIR FCC(Visible Infra-red, False Colour Composite). The techniques for the determination of the most informative SAR/VIR combinations in the triangular space diagram, as developed tv the author of the paper, are given and the results obtained are presented. The SAR alone, VIR alone and SAR/VIR FCC classification showed trends for gradual improvement of accuracy. Accuracy distribution pattern for individual classes could be explained closely related to SAR/VIR signature components in the process of the triangular synergistic training. Due to contribution of SAR signature in training samples, it was possible to isolate major terrain features such as cloud cover area and roughness target with acceptable spatial precision. It is anticipated that this research output could be used as a valuable reference for distribution trends of classification accuracy obtained by triangular channel space based training in synergistic application.

  • In order to avoid the spread of Covid-19, outdoor activities are decreasing worldwide and the time spent at home is increasing. As physical activity declines, the number of people who feel bored, restless and immune deficient is increasing. As indoor life becomes more permanent, multiple approaches to home workout are becoming active. This paper examines how the Covid blue (boredom and social anxiety) produced in the no-touch era affects quality of life through the use of home training applications. Questionnaires were collected from Chinese people using a website dedicated to Chinese questionnaires, and finally 383 appropriate data were analyzed using SPSS24.0 and AMOS24.0. The research results showed that the actual experience of using home workout had a positive impact on quality of life. The higher the user's sense of social unease about being late in the untact, It was found that the higher the social anxiety perceived by users about the untact era, the higher the interactivity and exercise satisfaction with the home workout app. Home workout application can improve exercise satisfaction and quality of life, which are more positive effects beyond the result of resolving consumers' boredom. Therefore, it can be used as a channel for digital services.
