Network analysis of issue diffusion on the sanitary pad cancer-causing agent via Twitter and Youtube (트위터와 유튜브를 통해 확산된 생리대 발암물질 이슈에 대한 네트워크 분석)

  • This study focused on the difference of the volume of sanitory pad issue and The aim of this study is to explore the relationship between the characteristics of SNS and the diffusion of issue in the process of crisis issue. SNS is categorized into communication diffusion, communication restriction,, diffusion, restriction base on the media interactivity and the user interactivity, In case of Twitter, media interactivity is low and user interactivity is low. In case of Youtube, media interactivity and user interactivity are all high. Crisiss issue is interactively diffused via Youtube compared to via Twitter. There was a negative public opinion in social media even if the government and the manufacturer said that there was no harm in the sanitary goods. In conclusion, this study highlights the importance of social media environment in the diffusion of information. The government prepared for the use of SNS in crisis because there was a negative opinion on the government and the manufacturer via SNS.

Simulation of Valveless Pump Using Pumping Chamber Connected to Elastic Tube (탄성 튜브가 연결된 펌핑 챔버를 이용한 무밸브 펌프의 수치해석)

  • A valveless pump consisting of a pumping chamber with an elastic tube was simulated using an immersed boundary method. The interaction between the motion of the elastic tube and the pumping chamber generated a net flow toward the outlet through a full cycle of the pump. The net flow rate of the valveless pump was examined by varying the stretching coefficient, bending coefficient, and aspect ratio of the elastic tube. Photographs of the fluid velocity vectors and the wave motions of the elastic tube were examined over one cycle of the pump to gain a better understanding of the mechanism underlying the valveless pump. The relationship between the gap in the elastic tube and the average flow rate of the pump was analyzed.

  • YouTube has established itself as a major media platform. Businesses give more attention to YouTube's influence as marketing using the platform demonstrates positive effects. Accordingly, this study aims to look into how the quasi-social interaction of the users of beauty content on YouTube affect purchase behavior intentions and provide results as basic data for establishing an efficient marketing strategy. Quasi-social interaction exerted significantly positive influence on purchase behavior and purchase intention. This suggests that the stronger the quasi-social interaction becomes, purchase behavior and purchase intention get stronger. Therefore, strategies for facilitating marketing should be devised by increasing efficient quasi-social interaction according to user characteristics.

How Watching Stock Market Channels Influences Invest Intentions of People in Twenties: Focus on the Para-social Relationship with Influencers on YouTube (유튜브 주식방송 시청이 20대 투자자의 주식 투자 의도에 미치는 영향: 인플루언서와의 준사회적 상호작용을 중심으로)

  • As interest in stock markets is growing recently in Korea, more investors in their twenties are using the information provided by personal broadcasting channels on YouTube. This study explores how watching the stock market channels on YouTube influences watching behaviors and investment intentions. A structural equation modeling analysis of survey data from 219 adults in the twenties revealed that the perceived credibility of and para-social interaction with the YouTube influencers affected continued viewing intentions. The findings also showed that the effect of identification with the influencers on viewing satisfaction was more prominent when identification mediated the effect of para-social interaction on viewing satisfaction. Theoretical and practical implications were discussed.

Shear Lag in Framed Tube Structures with Multiple Internal Tubes (복수의 내부 튜브를 가진 골조 튜브 구조물의 Shear Lag)

  • A simple numerical modelling technique is proposed for estimating the shear lag effects of framed-tube system with multiple internal tubes. The tube(s)-in-tube structure is analysed by using an analogy approach in which each tube is individually modelled by a beam that can accounts for the flexural and shear deformations, as well as the shear lag effects. The numerical analysis is based on the minimum potential energy principle in conjunction with the variational approach. The shear lag phenomenon of such structures is studied with additional bending stresses. Structural parameters governing the shear lag behaviour in tube(s)-in-tube structures are also investigated through thirty-three numerical examples.

The Effects of YouTube Usage Motives and Affinity on User Activity (유튜브 이용 동기 및 친밀도가 이용자 활동에 미치는 영향)

  • With the growth of information technology, people consume online video contents via mobile phone without time and location constraints. Drawing upon uses and gratification theory, this study examines the effects of usage motives and affinity on user activities on YouTube. Specifically, user activities are subdivided into pre-viewing and during-viewing activities in this study. Results show that convenient entertainment and social interaction are the significant indicators for pre-viewing activities, whereas five different motives significantly influence during-viewing activities. Furthermore, affinity is the significant determinant of the both activities. The theoretical and practical implications are also discussed.

  • This study examined the interactive effects of selective exposure, political orientation, and political interest on YouTube political video users' attitude polarization. The results are presented as follows. In relation to research question 1 and 2, attitude polarization toward selective exposure and political orientation, selective exposure and political interest of YouTube political video users was examined. As a result, in the same selective exposure, the main effect on attitude polarization 'I' was found. Therefore, it was found that the higher the selective exposure of YouTube users to political videos, the stronger the attitude polarization toward YouTube users themselves. In relation to research question 3, attitude polarization toward political orientation and political interest of YouTube political video users was examined. As a result, the interaction effect on the attitude polarization 'I' was found in the political orientation and political interest. Therefore, when political interest in both progressive and conservative tendencies is high, the attitude polarization toward YouTube users themselves is also strengthened.

플라즈마 처리에 의한 원뿔형 다중벽 탄소나노튜브 다발의 형성기전

  • 플라즈마 처리를 통하여 수직 합성된 다중벽 탄소나노튜브가 원뿔형 다발이 될 수 있으며 원뿔형 탄소나노튜브 다발은 기존의 구조적, 기계적 성질의 향상과 더불어 향상된 전계방출 능력을 가질 것으로 기대되어 이를 X-선원, 전계방출디스플레이(FED), 유기발광다이오드(OLED) 백라이트 등의 전자빔 원으로 적용하기 위한 연구가 진행되고 있다. 원뿔형 탄소나노튜브 다발의 형상 제어를 통하여 전계방출특성을 향상시킬 수 있으며 이를 위해 원뿔형 탄소나노튜브 다발이 생성되는 메커니즘과 조사되는 플라즈마의 역할에 대해서 이해하는 것이 중요하다. 본 연구에서는 플라즈마 생성부와 조사부를 분리한 유도결합형 플라즈마 원을 사용하여 입사되는 이온의 에너지, 조사량, 입자 종을 독립적으로 제어하였고 이를 통하여 원뿔형 탄소나노튜브 다발이 형성되는 메커니즘과 플라즈마의 역할을 밝혀내었다. 알곤 및 수소 플라즈마 처리에서는 원뿔형 탄소나노튜브 다발이 형성되지 않았으나 질소 및 산소 플라즈마 처리에서는 원뿔형 탄소나노튜브 다발이 형성되었다. 특히 산소 플라즈마 처리가 원뿔형 탄소나노튜브 다발 형성에 효과적이었다. 원뿔형 탄소나노튜브 다발의 형성 메커니즘은 탄소나노튜브의 분극과 쉬스 전기장의 상호작용을 이용한 모델을 사용하여 설명하였다. 질소 및 산소 플라즈마 처리에서는 탄소나노튜브 끝단에 생성되는 C-N, C-O 결합에 의해 향상된 유도 쌍극자와 쉬스 전기장에 의해 탄소나노튜브 끝단이 모여 원뿔형 탄소나노튜브 다발이 생성됨을 밝혀내었다. 산소 플라즈마 처리에서 입사되는 이온의 에너지 조절에 의한 쉬스 전기장 조절과 조사량 조절을 독립적으로 수행하여 원뿔형 탄소나노튜브 다발의 직경 및 높이가 쉬스 전기장 및 조사량에 따라 조절 가능함을 보였다. 이로부터 입사되는 이온의 입자 종, 쉬스 전기장 및 조사량 조절 등의 플라즈마 인자 조절을 통하여 원뿔형 탄소나노튜브 다발의 형상 제어가 가능함을 보였다. 탄소나노튜브의 형상 제어와 더불어 세슘 입자 삽입을 통한 탄소나노튜브의 일함수 감소를 통하여 향상된 전계 방출 특성을 갖는 탄소나노튜브 팁의 제조 가능성을 확인하였다.

The Effect of Heuristic Cues on the Intention to Watch Contents in Searching Information on YouTube (유튜브 내의 휴리스틱 단서들이 정보검색 콘텐츠 시청의도에 미치는 영향)

  • This study aims to examine the role of IT features as heuristic cues in choosing a content on YouTube. According to the heuristic-systematic model, people tend to rely on heuristic cues when they have to choose and process useful information quickly so that they could save time and reduce demands for thinking. Based on this line of reasoning, this study posits that YouTube users rely on certain IT features as heuristic cues in choosing contents before they actually watch them. Based on the prior literature and interviews with YouTube users, we develop a research model in which social endorsement, self-presentation, and interactivity are identified as potential determinants of users' attitude toward contents, which in turn influence their intention to watch them. To empirically test the research model, we conduct a laboratory experiment and a follow-up survey. The results of data analysis show that social endorsement for the content, YouTube creator's self-presentation, and interactivity have significant and positive effects on their attitude toward the content, leading to their intention to watch it. This study suggests that IT features on YouTube could be wisely utilized to increase the chance that users choose a particular content out of many competing contents when they search certain information on YouTube.

  • 구리 나노와이어를 캡슐로 싼 탄소 나노튜브 오실레이터에 대한 특성을 분자동역학 시뮬레이션을 이용하여 분석하였다. 탄소-탄소 반데르발스 상호작용으로 인한 초과 힘은 탄소-구리 반데르발스 상호작용에 의한 초과 힘보다 더 크고 구리 원자의 질량이 탄소 원자의 질량보다 더 크기 때문에 탄소 원자는 구리 원자보다 더 쉽게 촉진되고 안쪽 나노튜브와 캡슐로 들어간 구리 나노와이어 사이의 충돌은 전체 초과 힘을 감소시키는 반발 힘을 만든다.
