To increase the productivity and efficiency of an enterprise, all relevant product information should be provided to shop floor workers timely and in a unified form because shop floor workers are final consumers of most accumulated information generated from various departments of an enterprise. but, most existing enterprise information systems have an emphasis upon providing design/manufacturing information to office workers. Proposed in this study is a development of integrated design/manufacturing information system focused system, the function required for shop floor activities. For developing integrated information system, the functional required for shop floor are identified and analyzed. Based on the extracted functional requirements, object-oriented system design and implementation is conducted. By using this system, shop floor workers can refer to all relevant information necessary to their work easily and in a integrated form.

포항제철소 내의 통신시설로는 영상분야의 I-TV시스템과 음성분야의 페이징 시스템, 인터폰, 구내전화, 확성장치가 있으며, 이러한 시스템은 대부분이 10년 전의 기술과 제품으로 여러 문제가 발생하여 이를 개선하기 위해 효율적이고 적절한 통신기술을 적용함으로 포항제철소 환경에 맞는 새로운 시스템을 구축할 필요가 있다. 본 논문에서는 IP Network화, 통합시스템화, 프로세스개선의 관점에서 기존 서비스의 원활한 수용, 순조로운 전환, 신규서비스 개발을 고려한 종합적인 검토를 통해 조업통신시스템의 개선방안을 모색하여 시스템 통합방안 및 전체적인 신예화 방향을 제시하고자 한다.

인류문명사는 미지의 새로운 세계를 개척하고 신기술과 지식을 창조하기 위한 끊임없는 도전의 역사이다. 그 과정에서 남보다 먼저 신대륙을 선점하고 선진기술을 개발한 집단이 세계를 재패해 왔다. 오늘날 지구상에는 탐험할 만한 미지의 대륙이 거의 사라졌다. 하지만 지난 10여년 동안 인류는 컴퓨터와 인터넷에 사이버공간이라는 ‘보이지 않는 대륙(Invisible Continent)’을 창조하고, 그 곳에 인류가 그 동안 창조한 모든 정보와 지식 그리고 기술과 제품들을 차곡차곡 쌓아가고 있다. 특히 최근에는 정보기술의 급속한 발달에 힘입어, 정보기술 선진국들과 일부 다국적 정보통신 기업들은 한 단계 더 발전하여 현실공간과 사이버공간을 융합한 ‘사이버국토’ 또는 ‘사이버도시’, 나아가 ‘사이버지구촌’ 건설에 투자를 확대하고 있다. 사이버국토는 현실국토공간을 사이버공간에 그대로 반영하여 최적융합함으로써, 사이버공간에서 시간·공간·인간 즉 삼간(삼간)을 통합하고, 기존의 모든 디지털활동을 수용하며, 시뮬레이션이 가능한 제2의 국토건설을 지향하고 있다. 또한 사이버국토 건설의 경험과 기술을 바탕으로 향후 전개될 사이버지구촌시대를 선도하고, 건설 과정에서 얻게되는 통합정보기술의 선점을 통해 세계 정상의 정보기술 강국으로 도약하는데 목표를 두고 있다. 이러한 사이버국토를 구축하기 위해서는 관련법률과 제도를 정비하고, 관련기술과 산업을 국가발전의 핵심 엔진으로 육성하며, 대국민 흥보와 관계자 교육을 강화하는 전략이 필요하다.

대규모 멀티미디어 데이타베이스 서비스 시스템은 월드와이드 웹(WWW : World Wide Web)의 대규모 멀티미디어 정보 서비스의 우수성과 데이타베이스 시스템의 방대한 데이타베이스 관리 기능을 상호 보완적으로 통합함으로써 구현할 수 있다. 데이타베이스 통로는 이러한 통합의 핵심적인 소프트웨어라 할 수 있다. 데이타베이스 통로의 필요성이 인식된 후로 현재 많은 상용 및 연구용 제품이 개발되어 왔다. 데이타베이스 통로의 구조는 데이타베이스 접속을 WWW 에 어떻게 연동시키는가에 따라 다양하게 나누어지고 구조에 따라 성능도 달라지게 된다. 데이타베이스 통로의 성능은 대규모 데이타베이스 서비스 시스템 구축에 매우 중요하다고 할 수 있다. 이 문서에서는 여러가지 데이타베이스 통로의 구조에 대하여 분류체계를 세우고, 각 구조에 대한 특징을 성능 및 기능에 대하여 연구하였다.

네트워크 상에 다수의 방화벽이 설치되어 있을 경우, 각각의 방화벽에 대한 정책을 설정하고 관리하는 데 있어서 각 방화벽의 정책이 서로 충돌하거나, 하나의 방화벽에 설정된 정책이 다른 방화벽에 영향을 줄 수 있다. 이의 결과로, 네트워크 방화벽의 존재가 무의미해 지거나 네트워크의 정상적인 동작을 방해할 가능성도 존재한다. 따라서, 네트워크 방화벽 정책의 중앙 집중적인 관리가 필요한데, 각 방화벽이 서로 다른 제품일 경우, 각 방화벽의 중앙 집중적인 정책 관리는 더더욱 어려우며, 보안 관리자의 업무를 가중시키고 혼란을 초래하여 문제 발생의 소지를 내포한다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 문제점을 해결하고자 이질적인 방화벽을 중앙 관리하기 위한 시스템의 전체적인 구조를 제시하고 관리자의 요구를 처리하며, 중앙 정책 데이터베이스를 통해 네트워크 상의 각 방화벽 정책을 조정하고 유지하는 네트워크 방화벽 통합 관리 시스템의 핵심 부분인 관리 엔진의 구현 기술에 대해 설명하고자 한다.

Beginning flag security it was limited in Firewall but currently many information security solutions like Anti-virus, IDS, Firewall are come to be many. For efficiently managing different kinds of information security products ESM (Enterprise Security management) are developed and operated. Recently over the integrated security management system, TMS (Threat Management System) is rising in new area of interest. It follows in change of like this information security product and also collection information is being turning out diversification. For managing cyber threats, we have to analysis qualitative information (like vulnerabilities and malware codes, security news) as well as the quantity event logs which are from information security products of past. Information Threats and Vulnerability Auto Collector raises the accuracy of cyber threat judgement and can be utilized to respond the cyber threat which does not occur still by gathering qualitative information as well as quantity information.

DIFs (Data Interchange Formats) are needed to enhance interoperability of physically distributed organizations in SBA (Simulation Based Acquisition) process. DIFs play a role as a template of DPDs (Distributed Product Descriptions) and provide capability to use information directly without data format interchange process by allowing access to DPDs, which include various information and M&S (Modeling & Simulation) resources. This characteristic is essential for interoperability in ICE (Integrated Collaborative Environment) based SBA. This paper proposes a framework for the DIF and outputs from each phase of acquisition process for configuration data related to design and manufacturing in SBA process - Conceptual Data Model, Logical Data Model, Physical Data Model and Physical DIF based on XML. Finally, we propose the DIF model architecture and demonstrate the implementation of DIF example based on it.

Most work done in CSCW (Computer Supported Collaborative Work) system has been targeted toward supporting the exchange of documents or messages among group members, and yet support for cognitive aspects such as group organization, division and merge of work, and work flow control. The objective of the study is to provide CSCW environment for the engineering design process such as CAD (Computer Aided Design) and CASE (Computer Aided Software Engineering). The proposed DCWA (Distributed Collaborative Writing Aid) system suggests a mechanism that unifies the group organization, work division, and work flow control in the CAO, CASE, and software simulation tool. In particular, CAD relates the group and work partition by providing expressing the relation of drawing object (e.g., binding, attachment, and proportional scaling) which is owned by different members of group, and CASE combining with the simulation tool supports the flexibility of the work flow control. Simulating the prototype before manu-facturing a product can reduce time and cost in development.

다양한 정보기기들이 출현함에 따라 UI가 제품성공의 중요한 요인으로 부각되고 있다. 이러한 중요성을 인식하고 Microsoft, Nokia, HP, Motorola 등 해외 선진기업들은 UI 연구에 주력해 오고 있다. 국내 기업들도 2000년대부터 본격적으로 기업 내 UI팀을 구성하기 시작하여 점점 그 규모와 역할을 확대해 나가고 있지만, 개발시간의 촉박함, 체계적인 방법론에 대한 인식 부족, 전문인력부족 등으로 인해 UI업무가 효율적으로 진행되지 못하고 있다. 선진기업과 경쟁하기 위해서는 사용자 경험 측면에 대한 투자가 시급하며, 국내 UI전문가의 역할이 크게 요구되고 있는 시점이다. 따라서 기업 내 UI업무의 현주소를 파악하고 통합적인 고객체험 디자인을 목표로 하는 UI팀의 발전방향을 모색하고, 비전을 제시하는 것을 연구의 목적으로 삼는다. 본 연구의 방법으로는 문헌조사와 선행연구를 통해 UI, UX의 개념과 UI관련 조직의 구성과 역할을 살펴보고, 국내 모바일 및 전자제품 제조사, 유무선 인터넷을 기반으로 하는 컨텐츠 서비스 업체의 UI실무자를 대상으로 한 인터뷰와 설문조사를 통해 현재 기업 내 UI팀의 현황(조직구성, 업무의 범위 및 프로세스, 조직 내에서의 위상 등)을 분석하였다. 그 결과 다음과 같은 문제점들이 도출되었다. 첫째 조직구조상의 문제점, 둘째 업무 프로세스상의 문제점, 셋째 전문인력의 부족 등이다. 본 연구를 통해 기업 내 UI팀의 역할과 위상이 그 중요도에 비해 미약한 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 향후 통합적인 UX디자인을 접목한 미래 지향적 UI팀으로써 전체 프로세스 과정에 비전을 제시하기 위해서는 다양한 분야의 전문가들로 구성된 독립적 UI팀 구성이 이루어져야 한다. 또한 기획, 디자인, 개발 등 타 부서와의 보다 적극적인 업무교류를 통해 사용자의 입장을 대변하는 역할을 해야 한다.
