  • In this paper, we proposed the design of the intelligent traffic control system by using multiprocessor architecture. The inter-processor communication of the architecture is implemented by sharing the serial communication channel. In comparing the conventional traffic control system using single processor architecture, the proposed system uses multiple processors controlling the sub systems such as the signal lights, traffic measurement unit, auxiliary signal lights and peripherals. The main processor controls the communication among the processors and the communication protocol link to the central control center at remote site. The proposed architecture reduces the load and simplifies the program of each processor and enables the real time processing of the add-on features of intelligent traffic control systems. The architecture is implemented and the common channel inter-processor communications and the real time operation is experimented .experimented .

  • 본 논문은 음성 인식이 가능한 브라우저를 이용하여 가전을 제어하기 위한 서비스 시스템 및 그 방법에 관한 것이다. 상기 가전기기 제어 서비스 시스템에서는, 웹 브라우저 실행 장치가 홈 서버로부터 가전기기 제어를 위한 웹 페이지를 불러와 명령 리스트를 사용자에게 들려주면, 사용자는 필요한 명령을 선택하여 음성으로 입력하고, 웹 브라우저 실행 장치가 이를 인식하여 홈 서버로 전송함으로써, 홈 서버가 사용자의 음성 명령에 따라 각종 가전기기들을 제어한다.

  • 본 논문에서는 통신해양기상위성의 추력기 구동장치에 대하여 기술하였다. 위성에서는 위성체 전력공급을 위한 태양전지판, 위성의 자세제어를 위한 모멘텀 휠과 추진계, 온도제어 등을 담당하는 다양한 추력기 (actuator)가 존재한다. 위성의 안정적인 동작을 위해 각각의 추력기를 제어하기 위한 전기 및 기계 접속 요구사항을 수용하는 인터페이스 기능을 담당하는 추력기 구동장치 (Acutator Drive Electronics, ADE)가 필요하다. 통신해양기상위성의 추력기 구동장치는 안정적인 동작을 위해서 1개의 ADE5 구조체 안에 ADE5 A와 ADE5 B가 중복되어서 구현되었다. ADE5는 ADE5 A와 B가 수동적 중복구조를 갖지만, 추력기와 ADE5 A, B가 상호연결되어 있어서 위성의 상태에 따라서 2개의 ADE5 A, B가 혼합적으로 사용될 수 있다.

  • This paper prosed modelling and design method in suspension system sesign to analyze sky hook damper system by adopting active suspension control theory. Recent in the field of suspension system design it is general to adopt active control scheme for stiffness and damping, and connection with other vehicle stability control equipment is also intricate, it is required for control system scheme to design more robust, higher response and precision control equipment. It is hon that sky hook suspension system is better than passive spring-damper system in designing suspension equipment. We analyze location of damper in sky hook system and its motion equation then design robust control system. Numerical example is shown for validity of robust control system design in active sky hook suspension system.

  • In this paper, we present a design of PWM-controlled driving device for backlights in LED systems. The system can control either the brightness of the entire screen of backlights of LCD driven by LED or illumination or contrast of each partial segment of the entire screen. The PWM-controlled driving device includes the shift register that shifts the series data according to the clock signal prior to the generation of parallel data. It is also is comprised of a number of registers, a number of counters, a number of comparators, and a number of synchronizing gates (producing the PWM-controlled signals). The proposed device for backlights in LED systems can generate the PWM-controlled signal with a high degree of resolution without the increase of clock frequency. It also contains the PWM-controlled circuit that disperses and restrains the quantized noise.

  • Recently, An introduction of communication based train control system both into greenfield and brownfield of urban transit network has been actively reviewed. However, since a number of line sections and rolling stock depots tends to be constructed based on track circuit for various reasons, necessity of inter-operation between two distinct train control system (CBTC, ATC) increases. Therefore, we propose a design of on-board signalling device that allows inter-operation of CBTC and ATC lines and a method to secure safe connection between these two lines without derailing point machine.

  • This paper includes ATP(Automatic Train Protection) simulator development and ATP algorithm verification to allocate wayside and train-borne and verify ATP functions of communications based train control system. The train control system has some characteristics such as simple structure and high safety when wireless communication technology is applied to the train control system. Especially, vital functions can be performed with in wayside and train-borne ATP. However, different system can be realized because I/F contents vary in accordance with vital functional allocation of ATP. Drawing characteristics in accordance with wayside and train-borne functional allocation and drawing I/F details affected by such characteristics are needed accordingly. This paper includes ATP simulator development creating train location information by direct activation of an electric motor, verifies train safety distance control algorithm of ATP by functional allocation such as train movement authority and train speed limit to ATP, and draws any supplementation needed. Appropriate simulated environment for verify ATP algorithm and main factors that affect to the ATP function were confirmed.

  • Heat exchange ventilation facility is using for heating the inflow outside-air with warm outflow inside-air. Energy cost is saved and respiratory disease caused by temperature difference of air is prevented. In this paper, system for remote control and monitoring of heat exchange ventilation facility is developed. This system is applied in chicken breeding farm, and verification test of performance such as temperature and humidity control and monitoring is conducted. From verification test, temperature control error is measured as under 2degrees around the chicken breeding farm.
