An Efficient Future Indexing Technique for the Moving Object Location Prediction System (이동 객체 위치 예측 시스템을 위한 효율적인 미래 인덱싱 기법)

  • 최근 도로 네트워크 환경에서 이동 객체 위치 정보를 관리하고 이동 객체의 미래 위치를 예측하는 이동 객체 위치 예측 시스템의 필요성이 나날이 증가되고 있다. 이동 객체위치 예측 시스템은 교통 관제 및 다양한 응급 상황 시 이동 객체의 미래 위치를 신속히 예측하기 위해 사용되며, 보다 편리한 위치 기반 서비스의 제공을 가능하게 해준다. 이러한 시스템을 위한 대부분의 미래 인덱싱 기법은 일반적으로 이동 객체의 미래 위치 예측을 위해 과거 이동 궤적을 이용하고 있다. 그러나, 수많은 이동 객체의 과거 이동 궤적 관리가 어렵고, 실시간으로 변화하는 이동 객체의 미래 궤적을 반영하기 위한 방대한 미래 인덱스의 갱신 요청으로 인해 인덱스 유지 비용이 증가하여 미래 위치 질의 요청에 대한 신속한 처리 성능이 떨어지게 된다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 이동 객체 위치 예측 시스템에서 방대한 이동 객체의 과거 이동 궤적으로부터 효율적으로 미래 위치를 예측하기 위해 셀 기반의 미래 인덱싱 방법인 PFCT-Tree(Probability Future Cell Trajectory-Tree)를 제시한다. PFCT-Tree는 방대한 과거 이동 궤적을 셀 단위로 재구성하여 인덱스 크기를 줄이고, 셀 내부 경험치를 기반으로 장기간 질의 시 빠른 미래 위치를 예측할 수 있다. 또한 신속한 미래 이동 궤적의 갱신 속도를 향상시키기 위해 미래 시간을 미래 궤적과 분리하여 인덱싱함으로써 위치 예측 오류로 인한 미래 인덱스 갱신 비용을 최소화 할 수 있다. 마지막으로 실험을 통해 도로 네트워크 환경에서 PFCT-Tree가 기존 인덱싱 기법들보다 갱신 및 검색 성능이 우수함도 입증하였다.ential oil (Bergamot, Grapefruit, Lemon, Petigrain)은 농도 의존적으로 ROS 생성을 증가시켰다. 이상의 결과를 종합하여 볼 때 citrus essential oil은 MSH에 의한 melanin 생성을 억제하는 것으로 보아 미백제로서의 개발 가능성이 있는 것으로 사료된다.가 사용될 수 있음을 제시한다.찍 발견되어 크기는 작았으며, 육안적으로 폴립의 Yamada 형태의 분류는 II, III의 형태를 띠고 있었다.EX>로 한반도 후기 백악기의 고지자기극$(Lat./Long.=70.9^{\circ}N/215.4^{\circ}E,\;A_{95}=5.3^{\circ})$의 위치와 유사하므로 암석의 생성 시기는 후기 백악기로 판단하였다. 한편 함평분지에 분포하는 백악기 화산암류에서는 한 개의 정자화 방향과 두 개의 역자화 방향이 확인되었다. 이들 특성잔류자화 방향은 백악기 화산암 형성 당시 암석에 기록된 성분으로써 당시 지구자기장의 상태를 기록한 것으로 해석하였으며, 이중 정자화 방향을 함평분지 화산암의 대표 방향으로 채택하였다 함평분지 화산암의 고지자기 극의 위치는 정자극의 경우는 $Lat./Long.=70.2^{\circ}N/199.5^{\circ}E,\;(K=18.1,\;A_{95}=9.6^{\circ})$ 이며 역자극의 경우는 $Lat./Long.=65.5^{\circ}S/251.3^{\circ}E,\;(K=7.1,\;A_{95}=20.7^{\circ})$이다. 이중 정자극의 위치는 한반도의 후기 백악기극의 위치와 통계적으로 동일한 것으로 나타나 함평분지 화산암

Geostatistical Downscaling of Coarse Scale Remote Sensing Data and Integration with Precise Observation Data for Generation of Fine Scale Thematic Information (고해상도 주제 정보 생성을 위한 저해상도 원격탐사 자료의 지구통계학기반 상세화 및 정밀 관측 자료와의 통합)

  • This paper presents a two-stage geostatistical integration approach that aims at downscaling of coarse scale remote sensing data. First, downscaling of the coarse scale sedoncary data is implemented using area-to-point kriging, and this result will be used as trend components on the next integration stage. Then simple kriging with local varying means that integrates sparse precise observation data with the downscaled data is applied to generate thematic information at a finer scale. The presented approach can not only account for the statistical relationships between precise observation and secondary data acquired at the different scales, but also to calibrate the errors in the secondary data through the integration with precise observation data. An experiment for precipitation mapping with weather station data and TRMM (Tropical Rainfall Measuring Mission) data acquired at a coarse scale is carried out to illustrate the applicability of the presented approach. From the experiment, the geostatistical downscaling approach applied in this paper could generate detailed thematic information at various finer target scales that reproduced the original TRMM precipitation values when upscaled. And the integration of the downscaled secondary information with precise observation data showed better prediction capability than that of a conventional univariate kriging algorithm. Thus, it is expected that the presented approach would be effectively used for downscaling of coarse scale data with various data acquired at different scales.

Comparison between the Road-based and the Parcel-based Address Coordinates for Urban Air Pollution Estimation - A Case Study of Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul, Korea - (도심대기오염추정을 위한 도로명주소좌표와 지번주소좌표의 비교 - 서울 영등포 지역의 사례연구 -)

  • The address system in Korea was changed to the road-based system in 2014, but the current address coordinates are still largely based on the old, parcel-based system. Compared to the parcel-based address system that defines the center of a parcel as its coordinates, the road-based system locates the coordinates at a certain distance away from the road on which the parcel fronts. The difference in coordinates between these two systems is small, but it can be crucial for micro-level modelling. In order to assess the impact of the discrepancy between the two address systems, this study measured the degree of air pollution exposure at two different locations, the road-based address coordinates and the parcel-based address coordinates, for each of 252 buildings in Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul. The air pollution values were estimated using a microscopic air pollution dispersion model, CALINE4, and t-tests and F-tests were conducted to evaluate statistical significance on the observed difference. The results showed a considerable difference in the level of air pollution exposure between the two address systems, suggesting that the on-going use of the parcel-based address coordinates could cause potentially significant errors in micro-level analysis.

무상증자 실시기업의 장기성과에 관한 연구

  • 기존연구에 의하면 무상증자의 공시는 공시기간 중 정(+)의 가격효과를 초래하는 것으로 나타나고 있다. 무상증자에 대한 이러한 시장의 호의적인 반응을 설명하기 위해 여러 가설이 제기되어 왔으며, 그 중 무상증자는 좋은 내부정보를 외부에 신빙성 있게 전달하는 신호기제가 될 수 있다는 신호가설이 특히 지지를 받고 있다. 그런데 짧은 공시기간 중의 정(+)의 주가반응만을 보고 신호가설이 지지된다고 단정짓는데는 무리가 있다. 본 연구에서는 과연 신호가설이 주장하는 것처럼 무상증자가 사업기회의 확대, 미래현금흐름의 증대, 추후 차입여력의 증대를 가져오는가를 더 면밀히 검증하기 위하여 무상증자 실시기업의 장기성과를 조사하였다. 본 연구의 특징은 (1)공시기간 이후의 1년 이내의 기간에 중점을 둔 대부분의 기존연구와 달리 증자 후 36개월간의 장기성과를 측정하였으며, (2)주가수익률 자료와 회계자료를 동시에 이용하여 장기성과를 조사하였고, (3)장기 초과수익률 측정과 검증에 있어 통계적 오류가 있는 누적초과수익률(CAR)을 보완하기 위해 매입보유초과수익률(BHAR)을 사용했으며, 이를 위해 엄격한 기준을 적용하여 표본기업과 비교기업을 선정하였다는 데 있다. 실증분석 결과 신호가설을 지지하는 증거는 발견하지 못하였으며 오히려 무상증자 실시기업이 시장평균 또는 비교기업인 비증자기업에 비해 장기적으로 주가수익률 및 영업성과에 있어 저성과를 보이는 증거를 상당 수 발견하였다. 구체적으로 동일가중평균수익률로 조정한 보유기간 초과수익률의 경우 증자 후 1개월에서 24개윌까지의 BHAR이 5% 미만 수준에서 부(-)의 값을 보였으며, 비모수통계치를 사용할 경우 $1{\sim}36$개월까지의 전기간에서 유의한 부(-)의 저성과를 보이고 있다. 또한 영업성과면에서도 증자기업이 비증자기업에 비해 증자 후 수익성과 현금흐름이 저조하게 나타나고 있다.해 현물시장의 수익률, 변동성이 높은 것으로 나타났으나, 변경후에는 현물시장에 비해 선물시장의 수익률 변동성이 높은 것으로 나타났다. VAR 분석에 의하면 변경후가 변경전에 비하여 선물이 현물을 선도하는 시차가 다소 커진 것으로 나타나 현물시장과 선물시장이 동시에 가격제한폭 확대후에 비효율적으로 되었다는 의미로 판단된다.기간에서는 선물의 15분 선도효과와 현물의 1분 선도효과가 발견되어 선물의 선도효과가 지배적임을 발견하였다.적 일정하게 하는 소비행동을 목표로 삼고 소비와 투자에 대한 의사결정을 내리고 있음이 실증분석을 통하여 밝혀졌다. 투자자들은 무위험 자산과 위험성 자산을 동시에 고려하여 포트폴리오를 구성하는 투자활동을 행동에 옮기고 있다.서, Loser포트폴리오를 매수보유하는 반전거래전략이 Winner포트폴리오를 매수보유하는 계속거래전략보다 적합한 전략임을 알 수 있었다. 다섯째, Loser포트폴리오와 Winner포트폴리오를 각각 투자대상종목으로써 매수보유한 반전거래전략과 계속거래 전략에 대한 유용성을 비교검증한 Loser포트폴리오와 Winner포트폴리오 각각의 1개월 평균초과수익률에 의하면, 반전거래전략의 Loser포트폴리오가 계속거래전략의 Winner포트폴리오보다 약 5배정도의 높은 1개월 평균초과수익률을 실현하였고, 반전거래전략의 유용성을 충분히 발휘하기 위하여 장단기의 투자기간을 설정할 경우에 6개월에서 36개월로 이동함에 따라 6개월부터 24개월까지는 초과수익률이 상승하지만, 이후로는 감소하므로, 반전거래전략을 활용하는 경우 주식투자기간은 24개월이하의 중단기가 적합함을 발견하였다. 이상의 행태적 측면과 투자성과측면의 실증결과를 통하여 한국주식시장에 있어서 시장수익률을 평균적으로 초과할 수 있는 거래전략은 존재하므로 이러한 전략을 개발 및 활용할 수 있으며, 특히, 한국주식시장에 적합한 거래전략은 반전거래전략이고, 이 전략의 유용성은

Estimation of the Natural Damage Disaster Considering the Spatial Autocorrelation and Urban Characteristics (공간적 자기상관성과 도시특성 요소를 고려한 자연재해 피해 분석)

  • This study aims to analyze the effects of urban characteristics on the amount of damage caused by natural disasters. It is focused on the areas of a municipal level in Korea. Also, it takes into account the spatial autocorrelation of the damage caused by natural disasters. Moran's I statistics was estimated to examine the spatial autocorrelation in the damage from the study area. Subsequent to evaluating the suitability for spatial regression models and the OLS regression model, the spatial lag model was employed as an empirical analysis for the study. It showed that the increase in residential area leads to the decrease in the amount of natural disaster damage. On the other hand, the increase in green area and river basin is associated with the increase in the damage. As a result of empirical analysis, appropriate policy establishment and implementation about the damage-adding factors is needed in order to reduce the amount of damage in the future.

  • Mode choice model is an essential element for estimating- the demand of new means of transportation in the planning stage as well as in the establishment phase. In general, current demand analysis model developed for the mode choice analysis applies common parameters of utility function in each region which causes inaccuracy in forecasting mode choice behavior. Several critical problems from using common parameters are: a common parameter set can not reflect different distribution of coefficient for travel time and travel cost by different population. Consequently, the resulting model fails to accurately explain policy variables such as travel time and travel cost. In particular, the nonlinear logit model applied to aggregation data is vulnerable to the aggregation error. The purpose of this paper is to consider the regional characteristics by adopting the parameters fitted to each area, so as to reduce prediction errors and enhance accuracy of the resulting mode choice model. In order to estimate parameter of each area, this study used Household Travel Survey Data of Metropolitan Transportation Authority. For the verification of the model, the value of time by marginal rate of substitution is evaluated and statistical test for resulting coefficients is also carried out. In order to crosscheck the applicability and reliability of the model, changes in mode choice are analyzed when Seoul subway line 9 is newly opened and the results are compared with those from the existing model developed without considering the regional characteristics.

An Improved Method of Developing Safety-Related Application Conditions for Safety Design of Railway Signalling Systems (철도신호시스템의 안전 설계를 위한 개선된 안전성 적용 조건 도출 방법)

  • According to the railway accident statistics in recent years, the frequency of accidents has been significantly reduced, due to the advance of related technologies and the establishment of safety information management systems. Nonetheless, accidents due to errors in the operation and maintenance phase and faults in safety design continue to occur. Therefore, to prevent accidents, guidelines for the safety design and manufacture of railway vehicles were established, and a request for the independent safety evaluation of safety designs was made. To respond to this, rail system developers must prepare safety cases as a safety activity product. One of the main items of these safety cases is the safety-related application conditions (SRAC) and, thus, the question of how to develop these SRAC is an important one. The SRAC studies reported so far focused only on the simplicity of the derivation procedure and the specific safety activities in the design phase. This method seems to have the advantage of quickly deriving SRAC items. However, there is a risk that some important safety-related items may be missing. As such, this paper proposes an improved method of developing the SRAC based on the idea of performing both the safety design and safety evaluation activities throughout the whole system lifecycle. In this way, it is possible to develop and manage the SRAC more systematically. Especially, considering the SRAC from the initial stage of the design can allow the safety requirements to be reflected to a greater extent. Also, an application case study on railway signaling systems shows that the method presented herein can prevent the omission of important safety-related items, due to the consideration of the SRAC throughout the system lifecycle.

A Study on the Fatigue Analysis by the Boarding Period on Training Ship (실습선 승선기간에 의한 승선 집단별 피로도 분석에 관한 연구)

  • Crew fatigue has been recognized as a major cause of maritime accidents. Systematic study on crew fatigue has a direct impact on the human factor, but the various measures being taken to prevent human error account for most of the causes of marine accidents situation are still insufficient. In this study, 128 people who have a variety of career and job types boarded the T/S Hanbada were analyzed the changes of fatigue during the 87-days a Maritime Silk Road Sailing Expedition. Crew fatigue was measured by period of time onboard classified as mental, physiological and physical changes through survey responses and individual interviews of nurses. Also, it was identified the fatigue factor through quantitative statistical analysis. As a result of repeated measures analysis of variance for the changes of fatigue in position and gender criteria in accordance with boarded period, the position-specific analysis was that Professor Rating group has appeared to feel more mental and physical fatigue than the student population. Also, the results of fatigability about the sex-specific analysis have been found that women feel more physical fatigue than men.

The Effect of Meta cognition and Emotional Intelligence on Character Development Efficacy of Pre-Service Early childhood teachers (예비유아교사의 메타인지, 감성지능이 인성개발효능감에 미치는 영향)

  • This study investigated the relationship between pre-service early childhood teacher's metacognition and emotional intelligence on character development efficacy. The subjects were 218 pre-service early childhood teachers at university. A questionnaire, which required self-reporting by these teachers, was used to investigate the effect of their metacognition and emotional intelligence on character development efficacy. The data were analyzed by Pearson's correlation and stepwise regression. The study results were as follows. First, metacognition and emotional intelligence exerted an effect on the character development efficacy of pre-service early childhood teachers. Second, there were significant positive correlations between the metacognition and character development efficacy of the teachers. Third, there were significant positive correlations between the emotional intelligence and character development efficacy of the teachers. Fourth, emotional comprehension of others, emotional comprehension of own, error correction, and emotional activity were meaningful and influential variables on the teachers' self-leadership. These results increased the perception for the development of pre-service early childhood teacher curriculum about character development efficacy, metacognition and emotional intelligence of pre-service early childhood teachers.

LRFD Design and Reliability Level Estimation of a Steel Closed-Box Girder Bridge (폐단면 강박스거더교의 LRFD 설계와 신뢰성수준 평가)

  • Most of the steel bridges in Korea are being currently designed by the allowable stress design method that uses the conventional deterministic factors of safety. However the limit state design based on the concept of probability, statistics and reliability engineering is becoming very popular as a global standard deign method, leading the rational and economic bridge design. As part of the fundamental research to establish the load and resistance factor design(LRFD) of steel bridges considering domestic environmental conditions and regional characteristics, an experimental design is conducted by applying AASHTO-LRFD specification especially to a steel closed-box girder, which occupies relatively a large portion of steel bridges in Korea. Throughout the experimental design according to various sectional changes, some of the issues to be considered in the LRFD design of a composite steel closed-box girder bridge are examined. In this process, an Excel-based design verification program is developed for easy computation and prevention of errors. Quantitative reliability levels of the bridge sections designed by LRFD are also estimated using a reliability analysis method, and compared with the target reliability indexes applied in the LRFD design to verify the validity of the procedure and methodology used in this study.
