경기를 보다 정확하게 예측하고 대응하기 위해서는 실물경기지표뿐만 아니라 기업과 소비자의 주관적이고 심리적인 판단 즉 경제체감을 파악하여 분석할 필요가 있다. 따라서 이 연구에서는 기업경기 및 소비자 전망조사의 통계자료들을 활용하여 경제체감(Economic Sentiment) 측정을 시도하였으며, EU 접근방식을 적용하여 2003년 1월부터 2005년 3월까지 우리나라의 경제체감지수(ESI)를 작성하였다. 작성한 지수의 상관분석 결과는 경제체감지수(ESI)가 양호한 선행지표로서 기능할 수 있음을 시사하고 있다.

임상 및 실험 결과를 대외적으로 공인 받기 위해서는 통계적 검정 절차를 거치는 것이 일반적이다. 하지만 통계적 전문 지식이 부족한 사용자가 통계 소프트웨어를 배우는 데는 시간이 많이 걸리며, 결과 해석에도 어려움이 많은 실정이다. 데이터의 특성과 성질에 맞추어 통계법이 선택되어야 하는데, 통계지식이 부족한 초보자들은 가장 일반적인 분석법을 적용시키곤 한다. 이와 같은 방식의 통계분석은 잘못된 결과로 이어질 수 있기 때문에 올바른 분석법을 가이드 해주는 기능이 필요하다. 또한 통계분석법의 적합성을 평가하는데 있어 오차와 잔차의 등분산성 가정이 유용하게 쓰여질 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 사용자에게 올바른 분석법을 제시하는 비쥬얼 가이드 인터페이스와 잔차를 3D Glyph를 이용하여 보여주는 불확실성 시각화 방법을 사용하였다. 분석법 적용에서 나타나는 불확실한 데이터의 시각화는 의사결정에 도움을 줄 수 있다.

현재 국내에서 치수경제성분석을 위한 홍수피해산정법으로는 하천설계기준에 제시되어 있는 다차원홍수 피해산정법(MD-FDA: Multi-Dimensional Flood Damage Analysis)이 광범위하게 사용되고 있다. 그러나 2004년 처음으로 지침이 나온 이후 각종 자산조사 원단위에 대한 갱신이 이루어지지 않아 현재 실정에 맞는 자산조사가 불가능하며, 일부 산정방식에서는 문제점도 지적되고 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 주거자산, 농업자산, 산업자산으로 나누어진 자산 항목과 인명피해액 산정을 위한 인명손실에 대한 각각의 원단위를 갱신하여 현재 경제상황에 맞는 적용이 이루어질 수 있게 하였다. 또한 과거 문제점이 지적되던 산정방식에 대해서 일부는 기술 방식을 고쳐 이해를 돕고, 일부는 새로운 방법론을 제시하였다. 그럼에도 불구하고 갱신된 원단위가 현재의 사회경제적 상황을 완벽히 반영한다고 판단되지는 않는다. 이는 통계자료의 양적 질적 부족으로 인해 기인된 것이다. 그러나 2004년 다차원홍수피해산정법이 처음 제시된 이후로 원단위의 갱신이 이루어지지 않았던 데 비해 통계자료의 형식적 내용적 변화상을 반영할 수 있게 하였다는 점에 있어서 연구의 의미가 있다. 본 연구의 결과 변경된 자산조사 방식과 각종 원단위는 치수계획 실무에서 홍수피해산정시 많은 참고가 될 것이다.

Distributed video coding technique(DVC) is needed for several applications with low bit rate or low encoding resources. However, since conventional DVC schemes have performance limitations and so as one of the several methods to overcome this problem and to improve the coding efficiency, DVC scheme with the moving information of side information has been developed. Based on this system, in this paper, an efficient reliability estimation is introduced to evaluate the blocks composing of side information and send these blocks location to the encoder side. Then, these enable the encoder to selectively encode and to improve the coding performance. Experimental results show that the proposed scheme performs better than the conventional coding scheme.

We would use a coin or a game of Rock-Paper Scissors before the a main game to determine which team will begin first. We can use the game of Rock-Paper Scissors to choose one of two or one of many. There can be many rules in a game of Rock-Paper Scissors between two teams and two teams may consist of a different number of players. In this paper, we find the means and variances of the total number of games till the winning team is decided according to different game rules.

The goal of this study is to investigate a didactic transposition method of text books and high school students' understanding for the Normal Distribution. To accomplish this goal, framework descriptors were developed to analyse the didactic transposition method and interpret the students' understanding based on the Historico-Genetic process of the Normal Distribution, the meaning of the Normal Distribution as a scholarly knowledge and the results of previous studies on students' understanding for the Normal Distribution. This study presented several recommendations for instruction of the Normal Distribution according to the results of analysing the didactic transposition method and interpreting the students' understanding in terms of the developed framework.

Based on the 'Government 3.0', the government opens the public data and encourages the active use in the private sector. Recently, the spatial and statistical information that is one of the public data is being widely used in the various web business as a high value-added information. In this study, we propose an architecture of high-availability, high-reliability and high-performance open platform which can provide a variety of services such as searching, analysis, data mining, and thematic mapping. In particular, we present two different system architectures for the government and the public services, by reflecting the importance of the information security and the respective utilization in the private and public sectors. We also compared a variety of server architecture configurations such as a clustered server configuration, a cloud-based virtual server configuration, and a CDN server configuration, in order to design a cost- and performance-effective spatial-statistical information open platform.

기존의 GIS와 지구통계기법을 결합한 연구들은 GIS 데이터베이스로 구축될 자료를 생성하기 위해 2차원 접근방식을 이용해왔다. 그러나 실제 현장 샘플 자료들은 대부분 3차원 공간에 분포하기 때문에 2차원 지구통계기법을 적용하는 것은 실제 자료가 가지고 있는 3차원 위치정보를 정확히 반영할 수 없는 한계가 있다. 본 연구에서는 GIS 기반 자료에 3차원 지구통계기법을 적용하여 공간변수를 예측하고, 생성된 공간변수를 다시 GIS로 반환하여 데이터베이스로 구축하는 결합 모델을 개발하였다. 3차원 지구통계기법을 결합한 결과 보다 정확한 공간변수 예측을 확인할 수 있었고, 그 결과를 GIS에서 다시 활용할 수 있었다.

한국과학기술정보연구원 슈퍼컴퓨팅센터에서는 각종 시스템관련 통계정보를 각 시스템 관리자들이 작성한 후에 이를 취합하여 "월간 통계 보고서"로 문서파일로 작성 배포하고 있다. 시스템 로그의 DB 저장을 통한 편리한 로그 관리 및 기존 통계 작성 방식의 비능률적인 작업 반복 제거를 통한 업무 효율성 제고하기 웹 기반 자원활용 통계 시스템을 구현하였다.
