Manufacturing Process and Basic Property Tests of Composite Helicopter Rotor Hub System (복합재 헬리콥터 로터 허브 시스템의 제작 및 기본 물리량 시험)

  • This paper describes the manufacturing processes for a flexbeam and torque tube made of composite materials, along with the procedures for testing their basic properties. A flexbeam and torque tube can be considered to be key structural components of a bearingless rotor hub system. A hinge offset effect can be realized by a large elastic deformation and twist of the flexbeam, and the blade pitch control forces are transferred by the rotation of the torque tube. The basic property tests included bending and twist tests to determine the flap stiffness, lag stiffness, and torsion stiffness of the flexbeam, torque tube, and blade, and these tests were performed prior to starting the whirl tower test. In addition, the estimated results were compared with experimental data, and the calculations were found to be a good match for the analysis results and had a similar tendency. Through these results, we could confirm that a flexbeam and torque tube made of composite materials satisfied the structural stiffness requirements.

Study on the Strategy of Muscular Activity for Motor Track of Upper Limbs during Rowing Exercise (로잉운동 시 상지 운동궤적에 따른 근육활성 전략에 관한 연구)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the muscular activity and muscle strength for swing track of upper limbs during rowing exercise. Subject was all twenty healthy adults and they were divided into linear exercise group and elliptical exercise group in random. Subjects performed rowing exercise 3-times for a week and performed all 8-weeks. We measured realtime-surface EMG. Also we measured joint torque of elbow, ankle and lumbar in subjects using BIODEX. The result showed that when rowing exercise, elliptical track exercise had higher muscular activity in trapezius, deltoid, erector spinae, rectus femoris, biceps femoris, gastronemius than linear track exercise on more many muscle of upper and lower limbs. Also elbow joint torque and lumbar joint torque was more higher too. but linear exercise also had higher muscular activity in multifidus, tibilalis anterior than elliptical track exercise. According to this experiment, we found out that elliptical track was more efficient than linear track.

  • Recently, environmental concerns increased, CNG fuel research for the prevention against air pollution is actively. But, the problems of CNG fuel have less output and a shorter charging distance than gasoline. Especially, the causes of the torque and output reduction are the mixed fuel has a combustion timing loss in case of CNG fuel which has a smaller heating value per a unit volume and a slower flame propagation speed than gasoline. In this paper, we design the spark advanced controller in consideration of the spark timing loss. Through the experimental of chassis dynamometer, we show that maximum power and torque have improved compared to that of general CNG bi-fuel system.

A Study on Processing and Physical Properties of Isoprene Rubber Involving Norbornene Dialkyl Ester (Norbornene Dialkyl Ester가 첨가된 Isoprene Rubber의 가공성 및 물성에 관한 연구)

  • In this study, we applied six different norbornene dialkyl esters as a plasticizer to an isoprene rubber (IR) and evaluated replaceability of DEHP which is an endocrine disruptor. IR test sheets were prepared by blending IR, norbornene dialkyl ester, vulcanizing agent, etc. and processing properties of the IR were evaluated by measuring Toque, scorch time, cure time and mooney viscosity. Mechanical properties of IR test sheet including hardness, tensile strength, 100% modulus and elongation were also measured and the physical properties of norbornene dialkyl ester applied as a plasticizer were compared to those using DEHN. Both the maximum and minimum toque for the norbornene dialkyl ester as a plasticizer were similar to those of using DEHP. In addition, the scorch and cure time of the former were slightly longer than those of the latter. The mooney viscosity for the case of DEHN was slightly lower than that of the latter. DEHN was also superior to DEHP in terms of processing. The hardness and thermal properties of all IR test sheets were measured to be similar to each other. The linear alkyl chain of norbornene compounds also exhibited good tensile characteristics.

  • We propose the method for kinematic and dynamic modeling and Path-tracking of four-wheeled mobile robots with 2 d.o.f having the limited drive-torques. Controllability of wheeled-mobile robots is revealed by using the kinematic model. Instantaneously coincident coordinate system, force/torque propagation and Newton's equilibrium law are used to induce the dynamic model. When drive-torques generated by inverse dynamics exceed the limitation, we make wheeled-mobile robots follow the reference path by modifying the planned reference trajectory with time-scaling. The controller is introduced to compensate for error owing to modeling uncertainty and measurement noise. And simulation results prove that the method proposed by this paper is efficient.

  • Control Moment Gyro(CMG) is one of the most efficient momentum exchange devices for satellite attitude control and CMG is very essential device for agile satellite. In this study, the essential dynamic equation for the design of gimbal motor and wheel motor is summarized. The development process of SGCMG hardware for agile small satellite system, the description of developed hardware and its performance test results are presented. Test result shows that the developed hardware model can produce an output torque more than 1.2Nm as designed. Other test items are max. torque, gimbal bandwidth, minimum torque, torque error, gimbal rate error.

  • 본 논문에서는 카메라폰용 광학줌(Optical zooming)과 자동초점조절장치(Auto Focusing, AF)에 쓰일 초음파모터를 제작하였다. 초음파모터의 제작 및 시뮬레이션은 유한요소해석 프로그램인 ATILA 5.2.1(Magsoft)를 사용하여 디자인설계에 따른 구동특성을 고찰하였고 세자된 초음파모터는 한쪽 면이 없는 사자형의 탄성체를 제작하였으며 탄성체의 양쪽 다리에 각각 압전체를 부착하였다. 또한 압전세라믹의 조성은 $0.9Pb(Zr_{0.51}Ti_{0.49})O_3$-$0.1Pb(Mn_{1/3}Nb_{1/3}Sb_{1/3})O_3$의 조성으로 설계하였고 시편의 제조는 7-layer로 적층하였다. 제작된 압전세라믹의 치수는 $6*2*0.35mm^3$ (길이*폭*두께)로 제작하였다. 또한 탄성체의 외형치수는 $10*10*2mm^3$ 제작하였으며 두께를 각각 0.3[mm], 0.5[mm], 0.8[mm]으로 변화시키며 제작하였다. 두께가 0.8[mm]인 경우 공진주파수 60.5[kHz]를 나타내었으며 초음파모터의 압전세라믹에 인가전압이 증가함에 따라 회전속도와 모터에 흐르는 전류는 증가하였다. 인가전압이 40[Vpp], 공진주파수는 60.5[kHz]일때 무게추를 달고 그때의 토크 및 효율을 측정하였다. 회전 속도는 토크가 증가함에 따라 거의 선형적으로 감소하였으며 효율은 토크에 따라 증가하다가 토크가 약 20(mNmm)일 때 약 28[%]로 최대치를 나타내었다.

  • 초음파 모터는 고정자와 회전자를 가압마찰하기 위해서 내부에 원형 판 스프링을 이용하고 있다. 출력 토크를 높이기 위해서 이러한 내부 스프링의 강도를 크게 하면 홀딩 토크 역시 커지게 된다. 이로 인하여 기동 시 많은 전류가 소모되며 일반적인 구동 파라미터에 따른 속도 특성 등 기존의 스프링 강도를 지닌 초음파모터(모델명 : 신생공업사(일) USR60-s1)의 특성과는 전혀 다른 특성을 보인다. 본 논문에서는 스프링이 강화된 새로운 타입의 초음파모터(모델명 : 신생공업사(일) USR60-s3)를 가지고 무부하 시의 속도 특성을 실험하였다. 이를 위해 FPGA를 이용해서 디지털 다중 초음파 모터 제어기를 설계하였고, 2상입력 전원의 주파수, 위상차, 주파수-위상차 다중 파라미터 등을 조절하면서 무부하 속도 특성을 측정하였다. 그 결과 홀딩토크가 강화된 초음파 모터의 경우 일반적인 기존 초음파 모터와 비교했을 때 전혀 다른 특성을 보이고, 위상차-주파수 다중 파라미터 조절방식이 조절방식임을 보인다.

Evaluation of Torsional Vibration Isolation Damper in Automotive Transmissions Based on In-situ Torque Measurement (토크 측정을 이용한 차량 변속기용 비틀림 진동 절연 댐퍼 평가)

  • This paper presents a proof-of-concept study on the evaluation of torsional vibration isolation performance through in-situ output torque measurement by using a non-contacting magneto-elastic torque transducer installed in the vehicle driveline system. The de-trending processing is first conducted to extract the torsional vibration from the measured driveline output torque. In order to estimate the transmissibility, primary performance indicator of a vibration isolator, the magnitude of transmitted torsional vibration with different frequencies is compared. From the conservative estimation results, the torsional damper built in a lock-up clutch of a torque converter is identified to be a vibration isolator. The evaluation results show that the fluid damping by torque converter outperforms the vibration isolation function of a torsional damper, and the isolation performance needs to be enhanced.
