  • 유량 보존 경계 조건을 적용하여 커넥팅 로드 베어링의 성능 해석을 수행하였다. 레이놀즈 경계 조건을 적용하는 경우에 비하여 최소 유막 두께, 동력 손실율과 축방향 유량은 더 작게, 최대 유막 압력은 더 크게 예측되었다. 유량 보존 경계 조건을 적용한 경우 축 방향으로의 공급 유량과 방출 유량이 거의 균형을 이루었다. 물리적으로 타당한 유량 보존 경계 조건을 적용한 커넥팅 로드 베어링의 성능 해석으로 얻어진 동력 손실율과 축 방향 유량을 이용하면, 윤활제의 온도 상승과 그에 따른 점도 변화를 좀 더 정확하게 예측 할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

  • Horn rudders or flap rudders with a gap between forward and after part are used for effective steering of a ship or a submerged body. It is necessary to analyze the effect of a gap since it affects the performance of rudders. In this paper, an equation to calculate the lift acting on a two-dimensional flap rudder in uniform flow is derived by using the thin hydrofoil theory and the analytic solution of viscous flow in a channel formed by two coaxial cylindrical walls to which a pressure gradient is applied.

  • Mathematical model of maneuvering motion for a single-screw single-rudder ship established and versatile applications to the special situations of maneuvering are attempted. While, the mathematical model for twin-screw twin-rudder ship is not presented so much, because that type of ship is not popular. Lee et al. have examined the characteristics of such ship by captive model tests in 1988. This paper treats new mathematical models for propeller effective wake ($1-w_p$) and effective neutral rudder angle ${\delta}_R$ in the case of twin-screw twin-rudder ship. And some maneuvering motions are calculated with proposed models and compared with exact simulations.

  • The dynamic time warping algorithm generally used in time series pattern recognition spends most of the time in generating the correlation table, and it establishes the global path constraint to reduce the corresponding time complexity. However, the constraint restrains just in terms of the time axis, not considering the contents of input patterns. In this paper, we therefore propose an efficient branch and bound dynamic time warping algorithm which sets the global constraints by adaptively reflecting the patterns. The experimental results show that the proposed method outperforms conventional methods in terms of the speed and accuracy.

진동전원과 평골전원으로 운전되는 동기전동기 특성 비교에 관한 이론적 해석

  • Thyristor inverter로 구동되는 동기전동기의 특성 해석을 직류기로서 취급하기 위하여 등가회로로 유도하였고 브러쉬축및 이에 직교하는 축인 .gamma.축 및 .delta.축의 전압 $v_{\gamma}$, $v_{\delta}$에 평골전원과 맥동전원이 인가될 경우 각각의 동기전동기의 특성변화를 구하였다. 그 결과 맥동전압으로 인한 전자기 권선에 흐르는 고주파전류는 인가전원 주파수에 6배되는 진동토오크가 발생함을 알 수 있었다. 이 맥동토오크의 평균치는 정현파 전원 구동시와 거의 동일하게 되나 전동기의 관성 크기에 따라 난조현상에 미치는 영향을 고려해야 할 것으로 나타났다. 끝으로 120 .deg. 유통형 및 180 .deg. 유통형 inverter구동에 따른 동기전동기의 토오크 특성이 각각 타여자 직류전동기 특성및 정출력 특성이 됨을 밝혀내었다.었다.었다.

  • 선박의 항행안전의 문제가 중요시됨에 따라 선박조종시뮬레이터에 의한 안전성 검토의 필요성이 크게 인식되고 있다. 또한 조종성능을 향상시킬 목적으로 다양한 선종이 출현하고 있고, 이에 따라 선박조종시뮬레이터의 개발에 있어서 선박의 데이터베이스는 필수적이라고 할 수 있다. 따라서 선종에 따른 수학모델을 각각 선박조종시뮬레이터에 적용시킴으로써 다양성이라는 가상현실의 잇점을 한층 부각시킬 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 우수한 추진성능을 목적으로 한 2축2타선박을 대상으로 조종운동 수학모델을 정식화하였다. 구체적으로 항만내에서의 저속시 조종운동을 구현할 수 있는 수학모델에 대해서 검토하였으며, 선체·프로펠러·타의 상호간섭에 대해서도 고려하였다. 또한, 수치시뮬레이션을 수행함으로써 2축2타선박의 기본적인 조종성능을 확인할 수 있었다.

  • It is well known that a rudder is influential devices to help ship maintain its stable performances, such as a course-keeping and maneuverability. In the procedures of a commercial ship design proper rudder dimensions (area and shape) ensuring better ship maneuverability have been settled in an initial concept design stage performed by a preceding department, without little structural consideration. It is true that there are time discrepancy between an initial design and a structural analysis stage. Therefore structural analysis results would sometimes cause a rudder to modify its dimensions. Most of these cases, however, ship design and performance tests had been finished. In this matter, only limited modifications of redder could be carried out. Besides, these could also cause bad effects on productivity. Finally, it is necessary to develop a new program considering co-relationship between an initial rudder design and a following work, a structural strength analysis, in order to enhance productivity and minimize a rate of redesign procedures.

Optimum Alignment of Marine Propulsion Shafting (박용추진축계의 최적배치에 관한 연구)

  • The author has developed the computer program in order to calculate the optimum alignment condition of marine propulsion shafting by linear programming method. The input of program was calculated by the matrix method of three-moment. He compared the calculated values with the experimental values measured by the strain gage on the model shaft, and the values of calculation on actual propulsion shafting with those of Det norske Veritas. The computer program of optimum alignment has been applied to the actual shaft. The results obtained are as follows: 1. To obtain the reaction of supporting points in the straight line necessary to the optimum alignment and the reaction influence number, after the computer program had been developed and then adapted, the result of experimental values and calculated values agreed with each other and the values of the actual shaft were also approximately similar to the values of other program. 2. In this paper, the measuring method on model shaft by strain gage can be effectively used at the time of adjusting alignment condition of actual shaft. 3. The supporting bearing should be considerably readjusted to the vertical direction in order to satisfy some limited condition.

  • In view of the fact that marine casualties have more often occurred recently, there is a need for ship-handling simulator as a useful tool for maritime training, safety assessment and so on. Moreover various kinds of hull forms have appeared for the purpose of improving ship manoeuvrality. Therefore ship-handling simulator is in need of a database for various ships, and it can make diverse maneuvering simulations possible to apply respective mathematical model to ship-handling simulator. In this paper, we adopted twin-screw and twin-rudder ship and discussed mathematical model of maneuvering motions for her. It was discussed from the viewpoint of hull damping forces at low advance speed and interaction between hull, propeller and rudder. Using this model, maneuvering motion of twin-screw and twin-propeller ship was simulated numerically and her principal manoeuvrability was examined.
