Characteristics of Compressive Strength and Drying-shrinkage Equation of Alkali-activated Mortar (알칼리 활성화 결합재 모르타르의 압축강도 특성 및 건조수축 추정식에 관한 연구)

  • The purpose of this study is to understand a compressive strength and propose a dry shrinkage strain equation being able to predict dry shrinkage of alkali-activated materials(AAM) mortar samples manufactured using fly-ash(FA) and ground granulated blast furnace slag(GGBFS). The main parameters investigated were the GGBFS replace ratios(30, 50, 70 and 100%) and sodium silicate modules(Ms[$SiO_2/Na_2O$] 1.0, 1.5 and 2.0). The compressive strength of AAM increased with increases GGBFS replace ratios or Ms contents. The dry shrinkage strain of AAM decreased with increases Ms contents. But, the dry shrinkage strain of AAM increased as the GGBFS replace ratio increases. Therefore, the GGBFS replace ratio seems to have very significant and important consequences for the mix design of the AAM mortar. The results indicated the R-square of single regression analysis based on each mix properties was the highest value; 0.7539~0.9786(average 0.9359). And the presumption equation of dry shrinkage strain with all variables(GGBFS, Ms and material age) has higher accuracy and its R-square was 0.8020 at initial curing temperature 23 degrees Celsius and 0.8018 at initial curuing temperature 70 degrees Celsius.

  • This study is intended to promote local woodcraft industry with revitalization of local festival in Inje-county. To do so, we propose the travel souvenir design with local identity and the plan for production and marketing based on the management of 'Design Hospital' and the building of production method through 'laser wood inlaying technique like puzzle style'. Research method is benchmarking analysis of successful cases of travel souvenir which is developed for cultural contents of local festival. The result of this study is the following. First, design outsourcing is done one of support in industry focused on old boy network, Through it, Special brain of design can be supplied without compensation. Also the difficulty of manpower problem is lessened and the ability of product development in short term can be guaranteed. On the basis of this, we are able to apply Mass Customization production by up to date digital production method. This enables us to maintain the production flexibility of cultural goods fit for the traits of local festival. This study is intended to present the best model guananteeing both profit of wood technological industry and the possibility of local cultural.

A Study on Estimation of the Course Keeping Ability of a Ship in Confined Waterways Using the MMG Model (MMG 모델을 이용한 제한수로를 운항하는 선박의 침로안정성능 추정에 관한 연구)

  • Ship hydrodynamics in the confined waterways is challenging. When a ship is maneuvering in confined waterways, the hydrodynamic behavior may vary significantly because of the hydrodynamic interaction between the bottom of the ship hull and the seabed, or so-called shallow water effects. Thus, an accurate prediction of shallow water and bank effects is essential to minimizing the risk of the collision and the grounding of the ships. The hydrodynamic derivatives measured by the virtual captive model test provide a path to predicting the change in ship maneuverability. This paper presents a numerical simulation of captive model tests to predict the maneuverability of a ship in confined waterways. Also, straight and zig-zag simulation were conducted to predict the trajectory of a ship maneuvering in confined waterways. The results showed that the asymmetric flow around a ship induced by vicinity of banks causes pressure differences between the port and starboard sides and the trajectory of a ship maneuvering in confined waterways.

  • Although underground water resource has relatively less pollution rate compared with surface water, its recovery faces many difficulties due to poor management. Our country monitors underground water to manage it effectively through auxiliary observation network for underground water. In this paper, we suggest water-well auto measure system based on Geosensor for business efficiency increase of water-well management and realtime monitering. In this system is consist of user GUI(Graphic User Interface) composed with water-well information and movement sub-observation network prototype system composed with GPS(Global Positioning System) and wireless sensor node such as water temperature, water level, electrical conductivity. In this system is using the light of the sun for self-power, variety water-well information collected wireless sensor node was a wireless transmitting/receiving a using CDMA(Code Division Multiple Access) module. Also, for promote with user ease, user GUI express that water-well collected in GIS(Geographic Information System) map. For performance evaluation of the proposed system, we perform experiment using sensing information through designed sub-observation network. And we was proved superiority of the proposed system through qualitative evaluation with other paper.

  • This paper is able to be solved by improving degradation in multi-path environment by adjust beam pattern angle through modifying pulse phase of each antennas by using TRM (Transmitter Receiver Module). Beam Scanning Array Antenna, which is transmitter/receiver that improves degradation in multi-path environment without any signal distortion, is designed and manufactured. Beam Scanning Array Antenna should be able to send/receive signal at the antenna's longitudinal part without distortion and should not influences other systems. Also, it should include target detecting ability by beam steering.Dispersion characteristic of Beam Scanning Antenna, which is designed, is analysed by using fidelity, and steering and radar resolution performance is verified by using $1cm{\times}1cm$ sized target. To manufacture Beam Scanning Array Antenna, control board and GUI, which is able to control Vivaldi Antenna for IR-UWB, Tri-Band Wilkinson power divider, and TRM (Transmitter Receiver Module), is designed. Throughout this research, developed Beam Scanning UWB Array Antenna system is adoptable for radar application field. and time domain analysis techniques by using network analyser made the antenna characteristics analysis for setting up antenna more accurate. In addition, it makes beam width checking without difficulties.

  • Due to un-balancing weight allocation on the wheelchair the existing wheelchair system are faced with the risk of flipping or falling when a wheelchair goes up to a hill. In to order to be safer during riding the wheelchair, in this paper, we proposed a real-time new solution using the integrated Gyro Sensor and Tilt Sensor for controlling the balance. Because the typical property of wheelchair is for the special user who meets the difficulty in moving on foot the maintain the balance of wheel-chair systems have become important and helpful. In our method, we calculate the seat angle using information from Tilt Sensor. However, due to the law of inertia when a wheelchair is moving there is a deviation in the output value of Tilt Sensor. Therefore, we have to optimize the value of the angle by utilizing the acceleration that is the output of the Gyro Sensor. We took the advantages by using the combination of Gyro and Tilt sensors. Moreover, we also solved the consumption issue of the whole system. Through various experimentations with usage of ZigBee sensor module, the power consumption for the balancing system is reduced significantly.

Sensitivity Analysis of Sediment Transport Scaling Factors on Cross-Shore Beach Profile Changes using Deflt3D (해빈 단면의 지형변화 모의를 위한 Delft3D 내의 표사이동 관련 매개변수의 민감도 분석)

  • In this study, sensitivity analysis of sediment transport scaling factors in Delft3D-Morphology was performed to examine the effect those parameters on simulation results of cross-shore profile changes. For numerical experiments, one-year wave time series data which were observed in 2018 on the Maengbang coast in Gangwon prefecture were applied as external force. Bathymetric data observed in January and October of the same year were used as initial bathymetric data and annual bathymetric change data, respectively. The simulation performance of the model was evaluated based on the Brier Skill Score index for each part by dividing an arbitrary cross section within the calculation domain into the onshore and offshore parts. As a result, it was found thet the fBED variable has a slight effect on the simulation results. The fBEDW and fSUSW variables show good simulation performance in onshore part when the value less than 0.5 is applied and vice versa. Among the experimental conditions, the optimal combinations of variables are fBED = 1.0, fBEDW = 1.0, fSUSW = 0.1 for the onshore region and fBED = 1.0, fBEDW = 1.0, fSUSW = 0.5 for the offshore region. However, since these combinations were derived based on the observation data on Maengbang beach in 2018, users should be careful when applying those results to other areas.

Estimating Personal and Social Information for Mobile User (모바일 사용자의 개인 및 소셜 정보 추정)

  • The popularity of mobile devices provides their users with a circumstance that services and information can be accessed wherever and whenever users need. Accordingly, various studies have been proposed personalized methods to improve accessibility of mobile users to information. However, since these personalized methods require users' private information, they gives rise to problems on security. An efficient way to resolve security problems is to estimate user information by using their online and offline behavior. In this paper, for this purpose, it is proposed a novel user information identification system that identifies users' personal and social information by using both his/her behavior on social network services and proximity patterns obtained from GPS data. In the proposed system, personal information of a user like age, gender, and so on is estimated by analyzing SNS texts and POI (Point of Interest) patterns, while social information between a pair of users like family and friend is predicted with proximity patterns between the users. Each identification module is efficiently designed to handle the characteristics of user data like much noise in SNS texts and missing signals in GPS data. In experiments to evaluate the proposed system, our system shows its superiority against ordinary identification methods. This result means that the proposed system can efficiently reflect the characteristics of user data.

A Study on OLE/COM-based GIS Data Provider Component Development Toward Application System Development (응용시스템 구축을 위한 OLE/COM 기반의 GIS 데이터 제공자 컴포넌트 시스템에 관한 연구)

  • Recently , as GIS technology is rapidly improved and stabilized, there are some needs to reuse pre-developed and powerful GIS technology. GIS standardization based on components and open interfaces becomes a way to solve those reusability of previous GIS technology. This GIS standardization currently focuses on building the GIS Data Infrastructure that is being deployed globally. Especially, OpenGIS consortium which is mainly made up of international GIS leading vendors is announcing some GIS abstract specifications and implementation specifications. This study focuses on how could we design and implement the OLE/COM-based data provider component based on various DBMS or file systems, how could these data provider components be used for enterprise UIS(Urban Information Systems) and how could various formatted GIS data be shared in one system. Also some problems practically caused by an implementation process of data provider component are listed up and some solutions are given. Furthermore, design and analysis of UML(Unified Modeling Language) was reformed through the data provider component development task and this UML methodology is able to indicate a standardized model for newly developed data provider component.

A Basic Study on the VTS Operator's Minimum Safe Distance (VTS관제사의 최소안전거리에 관한 기초 연구)

  • This study aims to enhance the effectivity of VTS(Vessel Traffic Service) control by investigating the minimum safe distance between vessel and vessel, vessel and land(obstacle) for the vessel's safe navigation within the VTS control area. In addition, to suggest basic data for the safe navigation, this study has done survey and analysis to each VTS center, and individual on the minimum safe distance to VTS operators of each ports of korea. Through ocean voyage by training ship, Singapore and Malacca strait's congested vessel traffic zone's control distance was compared and investigated the difference on safe distance by the different VTS operators. As a result, there was huge difference of minimum safe distance between the VTS operators belong to the same center. Over all, the port with gentle coastline, like donghae, the safe distance was wider than the other port. On the other hand, port with complex coastline and frequent entry and departure of the vessel, like mokpo, the safe distance was the shortest of all. Therefore, development of module suitable to port's natural conditions and traffic volume's necessity is required, for the operators affiliated to the same VTS center control according to formal method. Lastly, the full discussion by the expert group about establishment of standard control procedure in the future should be considered as well.
