Real-time Fault Diagnosis of Induction Motor Using Clustering and Radial Basis Function (클러스터링과 방사기저함수 네트워크를 이용한 실시간 유도전동기 고장진단)

  • For the fault diagnosis of three-phase induction motors, we construct a experimental unit and then develop a diagnosis algorithm based on pattern recognition. The experimental unit consists of machinery module for induction motor drive and data acquisition module to obtain the fault signal. As the first step for diagnosis procedure, preprocessing is performed to make the acquired current simplified and normalized. To simplify the data, three-phase current is transformed into the magnitude of Concordia vector. As the next step, feature extraction is performed by kernel principal component analysis(KPCA) and linear discriminant analysis(LDA). Finally, we used the classifier based on radial basis function(RBF) network. To show the effectiveness, the proposed diagnostic system has been intensively tested with the various data acquired under different electrical and mechanical faults with varying load.

A study on the Rock-support response behavior in tunnelling (터널링에 의한 암반-지보 반응거동에 관한 연구)

  • A reliable analysis of tunnelling is needed to accomplish technically sound design and safe and economical construction. For the reliable analysis, a series of procedures of construction which include excavation and support stages must be considered. In this study, rock-support response behavior is studied and simulated in 2-D and 3-D finite element methods. Through the analysis of rock-support response behavior, the effects of the properties of shotcrete on the load distribution ratio can be quantified. The load distribution ratios for different rock types, different unsupported spans and various lateral earth pressure coefficients can be determined from the results of the 3-D finite element analysis. This load distribution ratios can be applied to a practical tunnel design through understanding of the trend of those various factors affecting the rock-support interaction.

  • The purpose of this study is to develop an altruistic behavior enhancement program for middle school students based on the Maumgram. To do this, we conducted basic research on the altruistic behavior program by collecting and analyzing related literature. The contents of the survey are related to the factors necessary for program analysis and content analysis. It has been validated twice in total by eight experts on the composition and content of the program. The program design consisted of three stages of observation, conversion, and relationship orientation, and selected contents suitable for altruistic programs and conducted them once a week for middle school students, self-inspection, understanding, empathy and communication. However, further study is needed to verify the effect of applying the program in the future. This study will provide basic data on the character education of middle school students by promoting the tendency of altruistic behavior through adjusting training of selfishness.

A Deep Learning Model to Predict BIM Execution Difficulty Based on Bidding Texts in Construction Projects (건설사업 입찰 텍스트의 BIM 수행 난이도 추론을 위한 딥러닝 모델)

  • The mandatory use of BIM(Building Information Model) in larger Korean public construction projects necessitates participants to have a comprehensive understanding of the relevant procedures and technologies, especially during the bidding stage. However, most small and medium-sized construction and engineering companies possess limited BIM proficiency and understanding. This hampers their ability to recognize bidding requirements and make informed decisions. To address this challenge, our study introduces a method to gauge the complexity of BIM requirements in bidding documents. This is achieved by integrating a morphological analyzer, which encompasses BIM bidding terminology, with a deep learning model. We investigated the effects of the parameters in our proposed deep learning model and examined its predictive validity. The results revealed an F1-score of 0.83 for the test data, indicating that the model's predictions align closely with the actual BIM performance challenges.

한국군 전차 및 승무원의 CAD 모델링을 통한 작업공간 평가

  • 인체 CAD 모델링 시스템은 장비와 인체를 모델링하여설계 초기단계에서 부터 별도의 Mock-up 없이 전 벙위의 운용자에 대한 작업자세의 안락도(Comfort), 동작한계(Reach), 적 합성(Fit), 시계(Vision)등 제반 작업공간 설계 및 평가에 수반되는 고려요소들을 보다 과학적 이고 합리적으로 반영할 수 있는 도구로 인식되고 있다. 본 연구는 크게 한국군 전차병의 인체 CAD 모델의 설계와 설계된 인체 모델을 활용한 한국형 전차 작업공간 평가로 구성되었다. 한국 군 전차병의 인체 CAD 모델링에서는 전차병의 인체 측정자료를 이용하여 5%, 50%, 95%치 전차병 에 대한 선 자세와 앉은 자세의 인체 모델을 설계하였으며, 보다 정확한 인체 모델의 구현을 위 해인체의 기능적 치수에 대한 실측치와 CAD 설계치와의 차이를 비교, 보정하여 줌으로써 작업공 간 평가시 보다 정확한 결과를 얻을 수 있도록 하였다. 한국형 전차 작업공간 평가에서는 설계 된 인체 모델과 한국형 전차 주요 구성품의 CAD 모델을 활용하여 각 승무원의 작업역을 분석하였고, 승무원 해치, 주요 조종장치의 운용 적합성, 판넬류 등의 위치 적합성에 대해 분석, 평가하였다. 본 연구를 통해 무기체계를 대상으로 하여 CAD 프로그램을 이용한 Man-Machine Interface에 대한 검토가 이루어 졌으며, 기존의 도면이나, Mock-up, Prototype에 의존하던 작업공간 타당성 검토가 CAD를 이용하여 3차원적으로 이루어 질 수 있는 기반을 마련하였다는데 의의가 있다.

Performance Analysis of Packet Switch Interconnection Networks with Output Buffer Modules (출구 버퍼모듈을 갖는 패킷 교환식 상호 연결 망의 성능 분석)

  • Packet-switched multistage interconnection networks(MINs) have been widely used for digital switching systems and super computers. In this paper we show that multiple packets in a switching element can move to the succeeding switching element in one network cycle by fully utilizing the cycle bandwidth. Only one packet movement was usually assumed in typical MINs. we present an analytical model for the MNs with the multiple packet movement scheme, and validate it by computer simulation. Comparisons with the traditional MINs of single packet movement reveal that the throughput is increased up to about 30% for practical size MINs. Similar result was also obtained for delays. The performance increase is more significant when the network traffic is nonuniform.

  • In this consideration, this research investigated the piping design items and drew out key design items through interview with experts and surveys to apply them to actual project examples and look into piping design item-specific significance and cost variation ranges. Based on this investigation, the Monte-Carlo simulation was employed herein to analyze the cost variation range for the entire piping design costs with a view to presenting a way to calculate a reasonable bidding price for any similar project and verify the appropriateness of joining a bid.

  • 다중 결합 질의에 포함된 다수의 결합 연산지를 효율적으로 처리하기 위해 서는 효율적인 병렬 알고리즘이 필요하다. 최근 다중 해쉬 결합 질의의 처리를 위해 할당 트리를 이용한 방법이 가장 우수한 것으로 알려져 있다. 그러나 이 방법은 실제 결합 시에 할당 트리의 각 노드에서 필연적인 지연이 발생되는 데 이는 튜플-시험 단계에서 외부 릴레이션을 디스크로부터 페이지 단위로 읽는 비용과 이미 읽는 페이지에 대한 해쉬 결합 비용간의 차이에 의해 발생하게 된다. 이들 사이의 실행시간을 가급적 일치시키기 위한 '페이지 실행시간 동기화'기법이 제안되었고 이를 통해 할당 트리 한 노드 실행에 있어서의 지연 시간을 줄일 수 있었다. 하지만 지연 시간을 최소화하기 위해 할당되어질 프로세서의 수 즉, 페이지 실행시간 동기화 계수(k)는 실제 결합 시의 결합률에 따라 상당한 차이를 보이게 되고 결국, 이 차이를 고려하지 않은 다중 해쉬 결합은 성능 면에서 크게 저하될 수밖에 없다. 본 논문에서는 결합 이전에 어느 정도의 결합률을 예측할 수 있다는 전제하에 다중 해쉬 결합 실행 시에 발생할 수 있는 지연 시간을 최소화 할 수 있도록 결합률에 따라 최적의 프로세서들을 노드에 할당함으로서 다중 해쉬 결합의 실행 성능을 개선하였다. 그리고 분석적 비용 모형을 세워 기존 방식과의 다양한 성능 분석을 통해 비용 모형의 타당성을 입증하였다.

  • The ability to make good cost overruns predictions is a very important aspect of in major construction project. The probabilistic cost models can provide more reliable than traditional cost models which have been used in korea to prepare Bill of Quantities, if the actual cost data are sufficient enough to analyze the trends of the variables. The paper considers non-deterministic methods in a cost estimate. The method(referred to as the 'Monte Carlo simulation' method) interprets cost data indirectly, to generate a probability distribution for total costs from the deficient elemental experience cost distribution.   • In this paper, we proposes a method for face recognition using HMM(hidden Markov model) and wavelet coefficients First, input images are compressed by using the multi-resolution analysis based on the discrete wavelet transform. And then, the wavelet coefficients obtained from each subband are used as feature vectors to construct the HMMs. In the recognition stage, we obtained higher recognition rate by summing of each recognition rate of wavelet subband. The usefulness of the proposed method was shown by comparing with conventional VQ and DCT-HMM ones. The experimental results show that the proposed method is more satisfactory than previous ones.
