A study on Middle-aged Women's Concern of Appearance and Buying Behavior of Cosmetics - With Special Reference to Women in their Fifties in the Kyungnam Region - (중년여성의 외모관심도 및 화장품 구매행동에 관한 연구 -경남지역의 50대여성을 중심으로-)

  • Korean middle-aged women, who are securing economic stability of their own along with the national economic growth, have had much concern in their outward appearance. Especially, middle-aged women's concern of appearance triggered by their various social/leisure activities and appreciation of aesthetic sense leads to the interest in their outward appearance, thus naturally stimulating their purchasing sentiments. This paper attempts to identify the level of middle-aged women's concern of appearance and analyze how this level of concern affects their behavior in purchasing cosmetic products. Our analytical findings include: 1. From the t-test and distributional analysis of points of each factor on the group, the high-interest type 1 (108 persons) and low-interest type 2 (91 person) in terms of 'concern of appearance' turned out to exist. 2. Five factors of cosmetics-purchasing behavior were derived that are fashion-leading type, compulsive buying type, brand-dependent type, pondering type, planned buying type and loyal-to-brand type. 3. Cosmetics-purchasing behavior varied according to the subjects' level of concern of appearance.

Ni-Cr 합금의 재결정 집합조직 형성에미치는 Cr 함량의 영향

  • 휴대전화, 랩톱 컴퓨터 등 각종 모바일기기 및 디스플레이 기기의 경박단소화 및 고기능화에 따라 연성회로기판(FPCB)의 사용량이 증가하고있다. 연성회로기판의 핵심소재인 동박적층필름(FCCL)은 폴리이미드필름과 접착층, Cu 층으로 구성되는데, 이 중접착층으로 사용되는 Ni-20Cr합금은 에칭공정 후 Cr의 잔류에 의해 불량률 증가가 문제되고 있어, Ni-Cr합금 스퍼터링 타깃의 Cr 함량 저감 또는 Cr-free Ni합금 개발 등이 요구되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 차세대 FCCL 본드층에 적합한 Ni기 합금을 개발하기 위한 기초연구로써 Cr 함량 및 가공열처리조건에 따른 미세조직과 집합조직 변화를 조사하였다. 4N급의 고순도Ni과 Cr을 진공 플라즈마 용해장치로 용해하여Ni-xCr (x=5, 10, 15, 20wt.%)합금 잉곳을 만들고, 이를 두께감소율 90%로 냉간압연한 후, $600^{\circ}C$$800^{\circ}C$에서 10~120분 동안 어닐링하여 시편을 준비하였다. 광학현미경으로 미세조직을 관찰하고, Micro-Vickers 경도시험을 통해 어닐링 조건에 따른 경도변화를 조사하였다. 또한 SEM-EBSD를 이용하여 집합조직 및 입계특성을 분석하였다. $600^{\circ}C$ 어닐링 시 Cr함량이 증가할수록 재결정 완료시간이 증가하여 Ni-20Cr합금의 경우 2시간이상 어닐링에도 재결정이 일어나지 않았다. $800^{\circ}C$ 어닐링 시 10분 어닐링 조건에서 4종류 합금 모두 재결정이 완료되었으며, 동일한 어닐링 조건에서 Cr함량이 증가할수록 결정립이 작아지는 것으로 나타났다. $800^{\circ}C$ 2시간 어닐링 조건에서 Ni-5Cr 합금의 주요 집합조직은 {223}<113>과 {122}<112>로 나타났으며, 이중 {223}<113>은Cr 함량이 증가함에 따라 점차 {122}<112>에 가까운 방향으로 변화되어 Ni-20Cr 합금의 경우 {123}<112>만이 형성되었다. 이러한 집합조직의 변화는 적층결함에너지 감소에 의한 ${\Sigma}3$ 입계의 분율 증가와 밀접한 관련이 있는 것으로 사료된다.

  • 방송에서의 광고의 비중이 높아짐에 따라 광고 수익을 극대화하기 위한 기술의 발전이 활발히 이루어지고 있다. 최근의 이러한 광고 관련 기술들을 일반적으로 Advanced Advertising 이라고 하며 그 중 시청자의 선호에 맞는 광고만을 시청자에게 제공하는 타깃광고(Targeted Advertising) 방식 등 수신기별로 특화된 광고를 제공하는 기술을 클라이언트 기반 광고 삽입 방식이라고 한다. 북미의 인터랙티브 케이블방송 규격인 OCAP(OpenCable Application Platform)은 OCAP DPI(Digital Program Insertion) 라는 명칭의 클라이언트 기반 광고 삽입 방식에 대한 북미 일부 지역에서의 시험 방송의 성공한 후 관련 규격을 OCAP1.1-I01 에 발표하기에 이르렀다. 조만간 상용화되면 OCAP DPI 를 통해 북미 케이블방송 사업자들의 광고 수익 향상에 기여할 것은 물론이고 시청자들의 만족도를 향상시킬 것이다. 이런 움직임은 케이블 진영뿐만 아니라 Open IPTV Forum, ATSC 등 IPTV 나 지상파 TV 진영에서도 이 기술에 대한 타당성 검증 및 표준화가 논의가 활발히 진행되고 있는 실정이다. 본 논문은 클라이언트 기반 광고 삽입 기술에 대해 OCAP DPI 를 구현한 경험을 바탕으로 그 원리 및 동작을 설명하고, DVR(Digital Video Recorder) 또는 PVR(Personal Video Recorder)의 주요 기능인 스토리지에 방송스트림을 저장하고 재생하는 기능을 이용하는 광고 삽입 방법에 대해 제안하며, Cable-IPTV Hybrid 의 웹 접근성을 이용하여 웹 서버에 저장되어 관리 및 운용되는 광고컨텐츠의 스트리밍을 통한 광고 삽입 방법에 대한 제안하고, 마지막으로 실제 이러한 광고 삽입 기술을 적용하는 데에 있어 발생되는 문제점들을 언급하고 그 해결에 대한 의견을 제시한다.

디지털미디어 시대의 시각디자인 교육시스템 연구

  • The topic of 21st century's culture is the appearance of digital media. It made changes as big as the industrial revolution, and our society is now ruled by the digital media. The main objective of this study is to forecast the direction of current visual design education by researching and analyzing how the introduction of digital media is influencing the evolution of visual design's identity, which is an ever changing and developing science. Also, since the rain target of digital media is the young generation, the change in the method of expressing visual language is inevitable In fact, there have been a lot of changes in the methods of creating and distributing visual communication due to the introduction of digital media. In the past, most educational institutions of design had similar objectives, curriculums and teaching methods to provide education that prepares students for practical business. However, in this digital media era, the application and utilization of visual design are uncomparably diversified, and it is generally classified as interaction. The purpose of this study is to find a wat to train visual design professionals in this digital era. For this purpose, this study will identify a new educational system that fulfills the demands of this society by fusing the traditional education and the new digital education, and will suggest what an design education institute that is ahead of the demands of society should be like.

  • Korea has a large number of landslides due to localized torrential downpours and typhoons in summer, causing great human damage and economic losses. In particular, most roads in the Gangwon area are located in mountains, making them expose to a great risk of landslide. Therefore, it is urgent to prepare countermeasures to prevent these landslides. Necessary for that are various slope investigation and high-tech observation techniques for slope maintenance. Recently there have been slope observation techniques using optical fiber sensors, GPS, CCD cameras, Total Station and satellite images; however, these are not used much due to poor economic feasibility, low accuracy and efficiency. This study evaluated accuracy of displacement extraction of model slopes using terrestrial LiDAR to determine its application to landslide monitoring. As a result, it can measure several mm of minute displacement with high accuracy and help to rapidly obtain geographical features of slope.

  • The qualification test for robot technology is developed to provide a standard for evaluating professional knowledge on robotics and is currently under consideration to be one of the government-approved qualification tests. This test has a level to which elementary school students can apply, but is not recognized by most teachers in elementary school compared to so called "after school robot classes." This paper addresses and analyzes the current status of the test, in particular, the qualification standards, organizing committee, examples of problems used in the test, etc. It is suggested that the level of difficulty and contents covered should be properly adjusted. Moreover, it is essential to provide well organized supplementary material for students and wide range of contents on which a solid standard for evaluating robot technologies can be developed.

  • In this paper, we propose the implementation and performance analysis of power line communication based on SISO/MIMO-OFDM which focuses on high speed data transmission in smart grid and future power line grid. We employ Zimmermann frequency model and Middleton Class A model as the multipath power line fading channel and impulse noise channel, respectively. In this paper, in order to improve the three-phase or single-phase PLC performance, we introduce a new MRC (called a&f-MRC) which effectively sums up multiple antenna diversity gain and multipath fading diversity gain. Via simulation, we prove the performance advantage over existing SISO/MIMO systems. In addition, we offer the tradeoff on system design through comparing with MRC, EGC and SC.

A Study on Development Direction of Convenience Store Living Platform -Focusing on domestic and overseas cases- (편의점 생활 플랫폼 발전 방향에 관한 연구 -국내외 사례를 중심으로-)

  • The purpose of this research is to suggest the direction of the domestic convenience store platform in the aging society and the fourth industrial revolution. Recently, convenience stores have been providing various lifestyle platforms by seeking new growth engines based on the reputation that the number of convenience stores has reached the saturation. In order to present the direction of development, It conducted a questionnaire survey of 78 people from domestic teenagers to 60s or older and case study of domestic and overseas convenience store platforms. Through this survey, it was found that convenience stores in Korea provide users with a convenient lifestyle platform, but the service for the elderly was found to be in shortage compared to other countries. Convenience stores should offer lifestyle platform services for the elderly, as they provide lifestyle platform services for people in 20s and 30s. This will make the convenience store a competitive lifestyle platform service in the 4th industrial revolution. In addition, it is necessary to continuously study the CVS living platform service according to the changing social phenomenon in the future.

  • Recently most of functional synthesis methods for quantum circuit realization have a tendency to adopt the declarative functional expression more suitable for computer algorithms, so it's difficult to analysis synthesized quantum functions. This paper presents a new functional representation of quantum circuits compatible with simple architecture and intuitive thinking. The proposal of this paper is a new functional synthesis development by using the control functions as the power of corresponding to affine-controlled quantum gates based on the mathematical substitution of serial-product matrix operation over the target line for the arithmetic and modulo-2 ones between power functions of unitary operators. The functional synthesis algorithm proposed in this paper is useful for the functional expressions and synthesis using both of reversible and irreversible affine-controlled NCV-quantum gates.

An Improved Dynamic Branch Predictor by Selective Access of a Specific Element in 4-Way Cache (4-Way 캐쉬의 선택된 Element를 이용한 향상된 동적 분기 예측기 구현)

  • This paper proposes an improved branch predictor that reduces the number execution cycles of applications by selectively accessing a specific element in 4-way associative cache. When a branch instruction is fetched, the proposed branch predictor acquires a branch target address from the selected element in the cache by referring to MRU buffer. Branch prediction rate and application execution speed are considerably improved by increasing the number of BTAC entries in restricted power condition, when compared with that of previous branch predictor which accesses all elements. The effectiveness of the proposed dynamic branch predictor is verified by executing benchmark applications on the core simulator. Experimental results show that number of execution cycles decreases by an average of 10.1%, while power consumption increases an average of 7.4%, when compared to that of a core without a dynamic branch predictor. Execution cycles are reduced by 4.1% in comparison with a core which employs previous dynamic branch predictor.
