  • This paper Presents the performance test of an impact hammer drill in conjunction with the parameter consideration of coefficient of restitution, lubrication and friction, pressure leakage, vibration damper and production quality. Novel measurement setups are innovated in order to get the Parameter data. The measured data are compared with the computational results, and this comparison gives a confidence on the computational model, which can be used for a optimal design of impact hammer drills.

  • The appearance of the Korean bell is exceptional comparing to that of other bells. The sound of the Korean bell is also distinguishable because of its remarkable appearance. The sound of the Korean bell is composed of striking sound and residue sound. This study focuses mainly on the striking sound of the Korean bell. The primary purpose of this study is to suggest a proper sound quality evaluation method for Korean bell. To implement this study, examine the formerly established methods which are method using rating method and method using generally used Psychoacoustics metrics. Also, subjective Sound Quality evaluation was conducted to compare the results of method using rating method and the method using psychoacoustics metrics.

  • This paper presents performance of the impact hammer drill with coefficient of restitution, lubrication and friction, pressure leakage, damper efficiency and the general quality test. The novel measurement systems are introduced in order to get the reasonable data. The mechanism of strikers with inner pressure is revealed in the general quality test. Due to these factors we are able to make the computational analysis correctly.

  • In this study, the evaluation for effective utilization of waste landfill was performed by field test to use waste landfill as construction site(Nangido in Seoul). This site had been formed by dredging the household waste, building debris and industrial waste for fifteen years(78'3~93'3). The site where dynamic compaction test was divided by 4 yards. Yard-1, 2 were not eliminated widening of cover soil and Yard-3, 4 were eliminated it. Dynamic Compaction Pilot Test was carried out by the 15ton heavy tamper with drop height of 20m in Yard-1, 3 and with drop height of 15m in Yard-2, 4. We evaluated the compaction efficiency, optimum compaction number and noise vibration through field test, monitoring. As a result, if the countermeasures against vibration and noise by the method utilize, the dynamic compaction method is suitable for using in waste landfill as a construction site among the ground improvement method.

  • BSR noise emerges in a vehicle as a result of road vibrations, engine vibrations, and speaker vibrations. BSR noise occurs with an irregular impact or stick slip friction phenomenon as the influence of the resonance mode when the vibration input load is transferred along poor joint and contacting pairs of the system. A sub-structure method of finite element analysis is required to detect impacts and slip in the full vehicle model. This study presents a method for sub-structure modeling and a rattle and squeak detection methodology that considers the characteristics of road vibration inputs.

  • The purpose of this study is to develop a device to replace the pre-boring method, which is generally constructed, to prevent pile damage caused by tension cracks that reason from tension waves generated during PHC pile construction on soft ground. Tension cracks are caused by tension waves from the hammer striking during the PHC pile hitting on the soft ground, which in turn leads to faulty construction. In order to prevent the occurrence of tension waves generated during driving, apply separate driving force increasing device to prevent the generation of tension waves, and pile damage as well. Also, it is an eco-friendly construction method that reduces smoke and noise by improving construction speed, reducing construction costs, and able to small equipment when developing equipment. This development equipment is a piece of effective equipment that can pioneer the Saemangeum reclamation area, the South-east Asian construction market, where the Deep soft ground is distributed.

  • This study was carried out to measure and analyze the vibration levels and modes produced by a hopper type feeder used at laying hen farms, to prevent the vibration resonance and to reduce the vibration of the hopper type feeder (6-tier). The most vibration in a layer house were produced by hopper type feeder as shown the previous study. According to the measurement results, the ratio of transmissibility was as high as 100-638% for natural frequency of 170 Hz or less. And vibration simulations were taken by the results of vibration mode analysis and the weakest points to vibrations were determined accordingly. Then measurement and analysis were taken for those points. The quantities of vibration were 4.6354-4.9118 g($g=9.81^m/s^2$) by axis. In this study, it was found that hopper type feeder generated vibration as much as to influence the ratio of laying eggs of layer. And by the analysis of vibration on the weakest points, design methods and equipment were suggested for isolating/reducing of vibration by each axis.
