록볼트의 타설 직후의 강도발현 과정 및 효과에 관한 연구 (Study on rock reinforcement process and the effect of produced strength right after rockbolt installation)

  • 터널의 대단면화에 따라 각 암반 지보의 역할과 그 보강효과를 확인하고 보다 합리적인 지보구조로의 변화가 요구되고 있다. 특히, 굴착직후 숏크리트에 의한 지보효과가 효과적이지 못한 터널에서는 지보 매커니즘에 대한 추가적인 검토가 필요하다. 강도가 발생하지 않는 터널이 가장 불안한 상태에 있을 때의 지보구조는 충분한 검토가 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 약재령 (若材令)시 록볼트에 의한 보강효과를 볼트 그라우트재의 경화를 고려하여 모의암반에 의한 실험 및 수치해석을 실시하여 시간의존에 따른 그라우트재의 압축강도와 재령, 부착강도와 재령, 부착강성과 재령과의 관계를 명확하게 하는 것으로 굴착직후의 록볼트의 암반보강 효과를 검토하고, 약재령시 록볼트의 모델화 및 물리정수를 산정하였다. 또 그라우트재의 효과를 가지지 않고도 해결되는 수압팽창형 프리쿠션볼트에 의한 굴착직후의 암반보강효과에 대해서도 검토하였다.

근활성도(EMG) 측정 전극 레이어 설계에 따른 성능 및 안정성 평가 (Performance and Stability Evaluation of Muscle Activation (EMG) Measurement Electrodes According to Layer Design)

  • 본 연구는 EMG(electromyography) 텍스타일 전극 개발을 목적으로 레이어 수의 디자인 및 원단을 다르게 하여 성능 및 신호 획득 안정성을 평가한다. 레이징 및 프레스 공정을 통하여 텍스타일 전극을 제조하며 Layer-0, Layer-1, Layer-2로 레이어 유무 및 수에 따른 결과를 분석했다. 이에 레이어 유무에 따라서는 근활성 측정에 영향을, 수가 많을수록 높은 성능이 나타남을 확인할 수 있었다. Layer-2 구조로 통일하여 5가지의 원단(네오프렌, 스판덱스 쿠션, 폴리에스테르 100%, 나일론 스판덱스, 광목 캔버스)으로 전극을 제조해 실험해 보았다. 성능적인 면에서, 원단의 중량이 높은 나일론 스판덱스가 높은 성능을 보였으며, 스판쿠션 텍스타일 전극이 근활성도 수득에 높은 안정성을 보였다. 이에 위 연구는 레이어에 따른 성능 연관성과 전극-피부사이의 닿는 면적 간의 관계 등을 고찰하여 슬리브 전체의 의복압을 늘리는 대신 특정 센서 측정 부위에만 높은 압력을 가함으로 차후 연구에서 레이어의 수 및 물성에 따른 전극의 공학적 설계 가능성을 제시한 의의가 있다.

자동차 시트 쿠션 판넬의 복합 자동화 금형 제조기술에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Complex Automation Die Manufacturing Technology for an Automotive Seat Cushion Panel)

  • Progressive dies are used for metal stamping during which multiple operations are performed in a sequence. Material is fed automatically from a coil into the press and advances from one die station to the next with each press stroke. Transfer dies are used in high-volume manufacturing for round, deep-drawn, and medium-to-large parts. Several different operations may be incorporated within a transfer die such as blanking, bending, piercing, trimming, and deep drawing. The main challenge in the current study is how to deform a seat cushion panel meeting the design specifications without any defects. A complex automation die manufacturing technology for the automotive seat cushion panel, mixing both semi-progressive die and transfer die for continuous production, was developed.

2차원 모델을 이용한 도어 개폐력 해석 (Analysis of Door Effort using 2D Model)

  • Proper door effort, required force to open or close a vehicle door, is an essential door design factor for the safety of passengers and pedestrians. Section shape of the door checker arm is the most influential design parameter for achieving a door effort design target. In this research. an analysis procedure to predict door effort using a simplified plane strain finite element model wes investigated for two passenger cars, for which mechanism of checker systems were: different. The variation of checker arm force to be required during moving on arm in opening and closing direction was estimated through analysis, and the result was transformed to the door effort with respect to door opening angle by considering door characteristics. Also, the self·closing force due to door weight was theoretically calculated and added to the door effort from checker arm force. Finally the estimated results of door effort were compared with test results.

승용차 시트용 폼의 진동전달율 최소화에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Minimization of Transmissibility of Seat Foam in Passenger Vehicles)

  • One of the most important factor for the comfort of the passenger vehicles is the minimization of the compressible transmissibility during the running vehicles. Seat foam materials of I2 series(index 95 and the contents of isocyanate TDI was changed in percentages 75, 70, 65, 60, 50, 40) and DI series(density 50kg/$\textrm{m}^3$, index was changed 100, 95, 90) showed the significant differences in their transmissibility depended upon their chemical constitution such as index and contents of isocyanate TDI. The minimum trasmissibility of seat foam materials of I2 series was found from the materials with the contents of 65% isocyanate TDI and the index 95 at the frequency 4.79~5.31Hz. Also the minimum transmissibility of seat foam materials of DI series was found from the materials with the index 90 and the density of 50kg/$\textrm{m}^3$ at the frequency of 4.79~5.31Hz.

  • The increasing requirement for consistency and quality in the automotive industry started the development of a Machine Vision Inspection System (MVIS) for a car seat bottom cushion frame with the goal of providing a higher precision Inspection System with minimal components and less human intervention. The modifications made to an existing PC-based MVIS were shown to improve the accuracy and precision of the system. By using four monochrome cameras, the working distance was lowered and the image distortions were lessened without resorting to extensive image processing. The inspection scripts were evaluated if it could recognize good and bad products and were shown to be robust and able to reach an acceptable level of precision. It was also shown that the amount of human interaction was lessened.

  • It is well known, for many years, that deep drawability can be improved by applying variable blank holding force. To apply variable blank holding force during cup during, we set up pressure controlling system on experimental hydraulic press, and the pressure control system is often called NC(Numerically Controlled) cushion system Using the NC cushion system we compared the drawability of square steel cups with NC cushion and that with conventional cushion. The results show drawability is greatly improved when the pressure control curve is designed in a S-shaped curve. This paper includes design details of the NC cushion system and experimental analysis of drawability with experimental NC cushion system.

  • The piled-raft foundation, a new design concept, is one of the most effective kinds of foundation for reducing settlement of structures. An alternative piled-raft system with disconnection cap and a sand cushion between the pile and raft was also investigated to compare the influence of ultimate bearing capacity and settlement. Load-settlement relation curves were used to evaluate the ultimate bearing capacity. In the numerical analyses, a plane strain elasto-plastic finite element model (Mohr-Coulomb model) was used to present the response of the piled-raft foundation.

  • It is well known, for many years, that deep drawability can be improved by applying variable blank holding force. To apply variable blank holding force during cup drawing, we set up cushion pressure control system on the hydraulic press, and the pressure control system is often called NC(Numerically Controlled) cushion system. A cushion pressure control experiment was carried out using the NC cushion and it was shown that the proposed system produced good performance. The comparison of drawability of square cups with and without NC cushion showed that the drawability could be greatly improved when S-shaped pressure curve was applied. This paper includes design details of the NC cushion system and experimental analysis of drawability with NC cushion system.

  • For mass production of stamped parts, which require complicated in-press operations, it is always advisable to use a progressive die set. It is difficult to choose a progressive die set if the stamped parts need to be deep drawn and especially if they are unsymmetrical. Because unsymmetrical deep drawing parts are very sensitive to the effect of weight during moving to the next step, they are hard to exactly locate on the die face. An automotive seat side cushion panel is about 80mm high, unsymmetrical and its low edge needs hemming, so it is hard to produce even using a progressive die set. In the current paper a progressive stamping for seat side cushion panel was examined. Five strip bridges were considered to be strong enough to move to the next die as predicted by the CAE analysis.
