An Approach of Indoor thermal Environment Control and Energy Saving Using the PMV Index (PMV지표를 이용한 공동주택의 난방제어에 따른 온열환경 및 에너지소비량 시뮬레이션)

  • Thermal comfort provide satisfaction of thermal environment and affects productivity of occupants in residential building. However, temperature control can not provide the thermal comfort at all the time. because thermal comfort is influenced by many environmental variables such as temperature, relative humidity, air velocity, radiation temperature, activity level and clothing insulation. The purpose of this study is that predicted mean vote(PMV) index is used as control. And, Thermal comfort is evaluated both PMV control and temperature control by simulation. Each other cases were compared, in which set-point temperatures of $22^{\circ}C$ and $24^{\circ}C$ and, set-point PMV index through the respective heating season in the simulation. The results show that PMV control is better to maintain comfort state and save energy than temperature control.

  • 실내에서 대부분의 시간을 보내는 현대인들에게 있어 쾌적한 실내환경은 작업의 효율성을 증대시킬 뿐만 아니라, 건강의 유지나 에너지 절약 차원에서 매우 중요한 요소이다. 따라서 국가에서도 감성공학 기반기술 개발 사업에서 쾌적한 실내 환경을 구현하기 위한 연구가 진행되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 이러한 연구의 결과들을 이용하여 쾌적한 실내환경을 구현하기 위한 요소를 지표화하였고, 결과 및 관련 내용을 비교ㆍ분석하였다. 그러나 지표화 과정에서 각 과제별 연구의 진행이 상호 독립적으로 이루어져 연구의 일관성이 부족한 것으로 나타났다. 또한 개별 과제의 연구 진행과정에서 상호연관성을 가진 부분이 실험계획이나 방법이 미흡해 결과에 대한 신뢰성 저하는 물론이고, 데이터 베이스 구축을 위한 자료통합에도 상당한 문제가 있을 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 문제를 해결하기 위해서 관련 연구과제 수행자들간의 적극적인 정보교류는 물론이고 지표의 타당성을 검증하는 실험도 필요할 것으로 보인다.

  • 본 연구에서는 온열환경에 따른 쾌적감을 조사하기 위하여 온열환경을 평가할 수 있는 지표로서 생리신호를 분석하였다. 생리신호로는 인체의 자율신경계에 대한 반응을 나타내는 HRV변수 및 대뇌의 각성수준을 나타내는 CNA파형의 변이도를 이용하였다. HRV스펙트럼분석을 통해 얻어진 HF/LF변수를 이용하여 주어진 환경하에서 교감 및 부교감 신경의 활동성을 조사하였고, CNA 파형에서는 경고신호가 주어진 뒤 0.5-1초 구간의 면적값을 이용하여 온열쾌적감과의 상관성이 높게 나타나지 않은 반면, HRV스펙트럼분석에서는 휴지기에 비해 발과 얼굴부위에 대한 HF/LF값이 높은 사실을 통해 교감신경에 비해 부교감신경이 지배적이라는 사실을 알 수 있었다. 이러한 결과는 바과 얼굴이 주위온도에 따른 인체의 쾌적감을 변화시키는데에 있어서 주된 부위임을 나타내며 HRV스펙트럼분석 및 CNV파형의 관찰이 온열환경에 대한 쾌적감을 평가하는데 유용한 지표로 사용될 수 있음을 말해준다.

  • This study aims to derive the effect of road traffic noise perception by the visual and aural information through a laboratory experiment. To verify the result more precisely, ME(Magnitude Estimation) and SD(Semantic Differential Method) evaluation on the effect of visual and aural effect were carried out by 43 university students. As the result, up to 10% of psychological reduction effect was shown under the 65dB(A). As the noise level, it was analyzed that the vision affected about 7dB(A) and sound affected 5dB(A). However, if these two are given simultaneously, mainly sound affects to reduce the annoyance of noise and the vision next. Compared with the urban central circumstances, this effect(2dB(A) under 65dB(A) noise) was shown smaller than field test.

Analyses on Comparison of UTCI, PMV, WBGT between Playground and Green Space in School (학교 운동장과 녹지공간의 UTCI, PMV, WBGT 비교 분석)

  • This study of the school's outdoor space for relaxing and activity of the two most numerous students, high heat and low heat with a green space, playground targets of thermal comfort indicators UTCI, PMV, WBGT using the thermal comfort students feeling compare the analyzed. The destination of this study, school facilities of Nam-gu, Namdong- gu, Incheon were studied and the investigation period was conducted from July to August. List of measurement, in the case of thermal comfort indicators, UTCI, PMV, WBGT was measured in the case of green, ratio of green coverage and GVZ was measured. GVZ analysis were as follows: A school ($4.71m^3/m^2$) B school ($3.34m^3/m^2$) C school ($0.38m^3/m^2$). Comparative analysis of the results of thermal comfort indicators by schools, UTCI was Green space $26.15{\sim}31.38^{\circ}C$ and playground $40.66{\sim}42.94^{\circ}C$, PMV values were 1.76 to 2.66 as a green space. WBGT was Green space $26.15{\sim}31.38^{\circ}C$, playground $31.67{\sim}34.53^{\circ}C$. Comparative analysis of the results of thermal comfort indicators UTCI, PMV, WBGT all A school, B school, C school, on the green space was comfortable levels more than playground. The results of the school type thermal comfort and green correlation analysis of thermal comfort UTCI, PMV, WBGT all solar radiation, globe temperature, and a positive correlation shown solar radiation, globe temperature is not comfortable, the higher was considered. UTCI, PMV, WBGT of thermal comfort indicator all ratio of green coverage, GVZ and negative correlation appears ratio of green coverage, GVZ was increased due to the lowering of the value of thermal comfort indicators was considered to be comfortable.

  • We performed the numerical study on the comparison of thermal comport performance indices for cooling loads in the classroom when the 4-way cassette air-conditioner is mounted on the ceiling. We investigated the velocity and the temperature distribution of the classroom as with respect to the variation of the air diffusion angle of the air-conditioner. Air diffusion performance index and Predicted mean vote were used for analyzing the characteristics of the thermal comport in the classroom and comparing their values each other. From the numerical results, we knew that the thermal comport is largely affected by the air diffusion angle and velocity of the air-conditioner. And we also found out that the qualitative tendency of the distribution between Air diffusion performance index and Predicted mean vote is very similar in all occupied zone.

  • This study derives planning items and indicators that should be considered in order to activate public space in terms of the spatial characteristics of the public space was to analysis the importance in the public officials/academics and practitioners side. Derived in accordance with spatial planning topics characteristic of public space through previous research to them and after a detailed selection indicators in Christopher Alexander's Pattern Language was so lead through the FGI. Derived surface was subjected to the significance analysis AHP through the survey expert. For this study, the importance of the spatial characteristics of the public space are working professionals accessibility, publicity, connectivity, spatiality, amenity, placeness the order, public officials/academics accessibility, amenity, placeness, connectivity, spatiality, publicity the order. In addition, professionals working in the comprehensive analysis of the most important priority was to recognize the hierarchy of open space, public officials/academics appeared to have an open space on the street the most important. The results obtained in this study will be used as an index that can be used in planning and evaluation for consideration of the next active public space.

  • 사회와 생활수준의 발달로 인간은 자연환경하에서 생활보다 인공적 환경하에서의 생활이 증가하게 되었다. 따라서 인간은 쾌적한 생활공간을 요구하게 되었고 이를 위한 온열환경에 대한 연구가 진행되어져 왔다. 이러한 생활공간에서의 쾌적한 온열환경에 영향을 주는 물리적 요인으로는 온도와 습도 그리고 기류 등이 있다. 또한 온열환경에 대한 인간의 감성적 측면도 쾌적한 온열환경을 결정하는데 중요한 역할을 한다. 본 연구에서는 겨울철 대류난방시 인간에게 가장 쾌적한 환경을 제시할 수 있는 기류 속도의 범위를 찾고, 이를 평가하는데 객관적인 지표를 설정하기 위해 온도에 따른 기류조건을 제시하고, HRV 분석을 통하여 인체의 자율신경계의 변화를 관찰하였다. 실험결과 18$^{\circ}C$, 21$^{\circ}C$, 24$^{\circ}C$ 각각의 온도에서 draft를 초래하지 않는 0.15m/sec의 기류속도일 때 가장 높은 MF/(LF+HF) 값을 보여 쾌적한 기류조건으로 나타났고 이는 쾌불쾌감신고(CSV)와 동일한 결과를 나타내었다. 이러한 심전도 신호를 통한 HRV 분석은 기류조건에 따른 온열쾌적성의 평가에도 객관적이고 신뢰성 있는 지표로 제시될 수 있을 것이다. 또한 다른 환경하에서의 감성평가 척도로도 이용될 수 있을 것이라고 생각되어진다.

  • 인간의 온열환경에 대한 적응은 인간-의복-환경 System사이의 산열과 방열의 열교 환을 통해 보유량을 일정하게 유지하는 항체온 조절에 의해 이루어진다. 이러한 인체와 의 관계와의 열교환은 주로 피부표면을 통해 이루어지므로 피부온은 외계로의 방열을 예측 하여 인간의 체온조절반응을 나타내며, 온열감각을 좌우하는 인자로 의복의 온열생리, 의 복의 보온력, 쾌적성을 평가하는 중요한 생리적인 지표가 되어 착의의 적부를 검토하는 데 의미를 지니면서 의복설게의 기초가 된다. 이에 본 연구는 국내의 기후 및 변화된 온열환경에 적응된 인체의 각 환경기온하에서의 피부온을 기존의 연구와는 달리 장시간의 노출에 의한 변동을 파악하여 쾌적 착의의 관점에서 인체와 환경사이에 존재하는 의복에 있어서 설계의 기초가 되는 피부온의 의의를 재검토함을 목적으로 한다.

The Effect of Physical Pedestrian Environment on Walking Satisfaction - Focusing on the Case of Jinhae City - (물리적 보행환경이 보행만족도에 미치는 영향 - 진해시를 사례지역으로 -)

  • Physical activity of the people has decreased due to a sedentary lifestyle according to developing the economy throughout the world. It is thought to increase the risk of chronic diseases, including obesity, diabetes, etc. People are interested in walking, which is an easy activity to engage in as an antidote to chronic diseases. The aim of this study is to increase the diminishing physical activity of modem society by inducing walking as part of everyday life through building a walking-based activity-friendly city where people can live merrily, safely and pleasantly. For this purpose, this study conducted a satisfaction survey to dwellers of Jinhae on the physical pedestrian environments which affect determining walking participation and intentions of people, and also provided a valid model to evaluate the effects of the physical environmental factors on walking satisfaction using factor analysis and multiple linear regression analysis. The results are summarized as follows. The 18 variables of the physical pedestrian environments were selected based on pre-literature reviews. The results of the satisfaction surveys showed that the satisfaction of crossing aids in segments was highest, while the building feature was the lowest. Factor analysis was run through a two-step process. The first analysis was conducted to examine the adequacy of this factor analysis on the selected 18 variables. As a result, two variables were removed and the remaining 16 variables were extracted to the four factors by second analysis. Each factor was named function of path, effect of traffic, amenity and safety based on the each factor's commonality. Each factor score of the extracted four factors was set as the independent variable, while the overall walking satisfaction was set as the dependent variable. Then, the multiple linear regression analysis was conducted and showed that all four factors had a positive influence on the overall satisfaction of walking, especially the 'function of path' and 'amenity' factors, followed by 'effect of traffic' and 'safety'. The results of this research will be used as foundational data for creating a walking-based activity-friendly city.
