Development of an Adaptive Instruction System Applying Gregorc's Learning Style (Gregorc 학습 스타일을 적용한 적응형 교수 시스템 개발)

  • This study developed an adaptive instruction system for individual learning. We applied Gregorc's learning style to support the adaption. This proposed Instruction system provides instruction content based on a more effective instruction method that takes into consideration the learner's individual learning style. We applied Gregorc's learning style to create a clear treatment of differing learning styles. Proposed adaptive instruction system was applied to college students studying computer learning. A t-test indicated that our proposed adaptive instruction system resulted in positive effects in an overall style comparison. In addition, our Abstract-Sequential learning style indicated the most effective results while the Abstract-Random learning style indicated no difference between the experimental and comparative groups in each style analysis for Gregorc's learning style.

  • In the area of e-learning education, SCORM2004 that is suggested by ADL and is a defacto standard allows to design and apply various interrelations among learning objects which organize learning process through consolidating IMS Simple Sequencing into S&N. In this paper, we intend to realize a web_based adaptive learning management that enable to guide experientially the learning activity through the SCORM 2004 S&N and the Traffic-Signal-Lamp Metaphor. This adaptive system allows professor to design the learning courseware realizing various learning strategies to be able to reuse same learning contents and student to be leaded a adaptive learning through being supplied immediately the state and evaluation of learning.

Developing English Language Learning Tools Adaptable to Users' Personality (사용자 성격 적응형 영어학습 도구에 관한 연구)

  • 본 연구에서는 사용자의 성격패턴을 사용자의 대화음성 정보만으로 자동 분류할 수 있는 방법과 이를 기반으로 사용자의 성격 맞춤형 학습전략을 적용하는 애플리케이션을 개발하는 것을 목적으로 하였다. 음성대화 속의 발화된 말의 빠르기(speech rate)나 말소리의 크기, 기본주파수(fundamental frequency)의 값과 그들의 변화패턴, 그리고 묵음구간의 여러 가지 통계적 정보 같은 비언어적 단서를 활용하여 성격패턴을 최고 86.3% 까지 정확하게 인식해 낼 수 있었다. 또한 성격 별 영어단어 학습방법을 개발하여 사전 및 사후테스트를 기반으로 실험한 결과 약 24% 성적 향상을 보였다. 이 연구를 통해 확보되는 원천기술은 각종 에듀테인먼트 콘텐츠에는 물론 로봇과의 대화시스템, 치료나 재활을 위한 기능성 콘텐츠 등에 유용하게 사용될 것이다.

  • 최근 영상처리 기술의 발달로 기존의 콘텐츠 대비 더욱 생생한 현장감을 주는 초고해상도 콘텐츠에 대한 관심이 증가하고 있다. 이에 맞춰, 초고해상도 콘텐츠의 라이브 스트리밍 서비스에 대한 요구사항 역시 꾸준히 증가 하고 있다. 라이브 스트리밍 서비스를 위한 다수의 HyperText Transfer Protocol (HHTP) 기반 적응형 스트리밍 서비스가 있으나, Dynamic adaptive streaming over HTTP (DASH)가 가장 대중적으로 사용되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 DASH기반 Spatial Relationship Description (SRD) 방법을 사용하여 원본 영상과 초고해상도 콘텐츠를 시그널링(signalling) 하고, 이를 통해 네트워크 상황에 맞는 영상을 재생할 수 있는 서비스 플랫폼을 설계하고, 이를 위한 MPD 기술방법을 제안 및 검증한다.

  • 가상현실 기술을 활용한 역사 교육 콘텐츠 개발은 미래 교육 환경에 적응하고 학습 경험을 혁신하기 위한 중요한 도전이다. 이를 통해 시각적·체험적 학습을 강화하여 학생들의 흥미와 참여도를 높일 수 있으며, 다양한 교육 자료를 가상 현실에서 체험하면서 깊은 이해를 도모할 수 있다. 메타버스 기술은 역사적 사건들을 현실과 가상의 경계를 넘어 재현할 수 있는 독특한 기회를 제공하며, 이를 통해 학생들은 적극적으로 학습에 참여하며 창의성과 문제 해결 능력을 키울 수 있다. 따라서 이 콘텐츠의 개발은 교육의 미래를 모색하고, 새로운 학습 환경에서의 효과적인 교육 방법을 개발하는 데에 중요한 역할을 할 것으로 기대된다.

The Phenomenological Study on the Sense of Pressure Shown from the Family Adjustment Experience of Mothers-in-Law with Married Immigrant Women (외국인 며느리를 맞이한 시어머니의 가족적응경험에서 나타난 부담감에 대한 현상학적 연구)

  • The purpose of the phenomenological study was to explore the sense of pressure shown from the family adjustment experience according to mothers-in-law's perception and to enrich our understanding about multicultural families. In order to accomplish the purpose of research, 5 mothers-in-law with married immigrant women participated. Data were collected through in-depth interview. In addition, the data were analyzed by a Colaizzi's phenomenological analysis. The findings showed that the meaning of family adjustment experience in mothers-in-law with married immigrant women were identified as 31 themes and 7 categories. The 7 categories consisted of "The sense of pressure of son's marriage", "The sense of pressure of an unsatisfactory daughter-in-law", "The sense of pressure of unfair treatment by a daughter-in-law", "The sense of pressure of living with concerned son and his wife", "The sense of pressure of having a foreign daughter-in-law", "The sense of pressure of dependnet daughter-in-law's parents", "The sense of pressure of the future". Based on the findings, we discussed the meaning of family adjustment experience in mothers-in-law with married immigrant women. And lastly, this results made suggestions for the social welfare policies and practices for them and their families.

Mediating Effect of Ego-Resilience and Mental Health between Psychological Home Environment and Adaptation to School of Early Adolescents in Schools with Educational Welfare Priority Project (교육복지우선지원사업 대상학교 초기 청소년의 심리적 가정환경과 학교생활적응의 관계에서 자아탄력성, 정신건강의 매개효과)

  • This study aims to verify mediating effect of ego-resilience and mental health between psychological home environment and adaptation to school of early adolescents in schools with Educational Welfare Priority Project(EWPP). For this purpose, multiple regression analysis and hierarchical regression analysis were conducted on the relationship between psychological home environment and adaptation to school, ego-resilience and metal health of 310 male and female students in fifth and sixth grade in four elementary schools on EWPP located in Busan area. As the result of analysis, three major variables affecting adaptation to school life turned out to be in the order of ego-resilience, home environment and mental health and both ego-resilience and mental health were confirmed to play partial mediating role in the relationship between home environment and adaptation to school life. Since home environment as a psychological variable of adolescents from poor families have an effect on adaptation to school in connection with ego-resilience and mental health as personal variables, this study can be used as base materials for the development of programs to strengthen psychological home environment, ego-resilience, and mental health. In addition, in terms of practical implications, educational welfare policies for alienated class can be practical policy alternative to mitigate social polarization.

  • The purpose of this study is to analysis of subjective well-being in the affects university life adaptation of department security programs in university. The subjects in this study were randomly sampled in Kyeong gi do in areas and 332 of department security programs student in university were finally selected. Analyses made by SPSS 17.0 have been applied to following outcomes. The findings of the study were as follows: First, The external situation and psychological physical which is a university life adaptation lower part variable in life satisfaction appeared with positive effects. The qualitative of education which is a university life adaptation lower part variable in life satisfaction appeared with negative effects. Second, The external situation and psychological physical which is a university life adaptation lower part variable in negative emotion appeared with positive effects. The qualitative of education which is a university life adaptation lower part variable in negative emotion appeared with negative effects. Third, The psychological physical which is a university life adaptation lower part variable in positive emotion appeared with positive effects. Fourth, The external situation and psychological physical which is a university life adaptation lower part variable in happy appeared with positive effects. The university study of education which is a university life adaptation lower part variable in happy appeared with negative effects.

Effect of Attribution of Career Success on the Occupational Adaptation of College Graduates : Focusing on the Mediating Effects of Self-Efficacy (대졸 신입사원의 직업적 성공 귀인이 직업적응에 미치는 영향: 자기효능감의 매개효과를 중심으로)

  • This paper analyzed the effect of attribution of career success on the occupational adaptation of college graduates, with the Korean Education Employment Panel (KEEP) data. The analysis results are as follows: First, there was a significant difference in self-efficacy and occupational adaptation according to attribution. Workplace satisfaction was the highest when attributing of effort for career success, and effort attribution also was the most influential in job satisfaction and self-efficacy. On the other hand, workplace satisfaction, job satisfaction, and self-efficacy level were the lowest in fortune attribution, indicating that fortune attribution has a negative effect on the on the occupational adaptation. Second, as in the mediating effect of the relationship between attribution of career success and occupational adaptation by Sobel-test, it was found that there was a mediating effect of self-efficacy. The results of this study shows that the more new employees perceive their career success to depend on their own efforts, the more they believe they can successfully accomplish their duties, and can adapt with more effort and patience in the face of stress. These results imply that it is possible to increase occupational adaptation by providing intrinsic and extrinsic rewards for new employees to have an effort attribution to career success.

The Effect of Adaptation Education on Performance Confidence and Practical Skill of Dental Hygiene Students before Field Practice (현장실습 전 현장적응교육이 치위생과 재학생의 수행자신감과 실무능력에 미치는 효과)

  • The purpose of this study is to confirm the degree of improvement in performance confidence and executive ability after conducting field adaptation education to dental hygiene students who start their first field practice. Thirty dental hygiene students were evaluated with performance confidence, indirect and direct evaluation of practical skill before and after the field adaptation education was conducted for 15 hours. Also field practice satisfaction was investigated after field practice. A paired t-test was conducted to compare performance confidence, indirect executive ability, and direct practical ability before and after education. Pearson's correlation was performed on the correlation between field adaptation education and field practice satisfaction. Linear regression analysis was performed to identify the influencing factors of field practice satisfaction. As a results, performance confidence, indirect and direct practical skills of after field adaptation program were increased than before that(p<0.05). The correlation between field adaptation education and field practice satisfaction showed that "education satisfaction" among the field adaptation education sub-regions correlated with "education content" and "support of field practice" among the field practice satisfaction sub-regions(p<0.05). Therefore, it is necessary to develop and management various adaptation education in the future as it increases the adaptability of the first field practice and increases the satisfaction of field practice.
