  • 사물 인터넷의 확장에 따라 기기들을 통합하려는 연구가 활발하다. 이중 대부분이 센서 데이터를 활용하여 서비스를 제공하려고 한다. 그러나 기기에서는 센서 데이터 뿐만 아니라 콘텐츠 정보를 수집할 수 있어서 이에 대한 관리가 중요하다. 따라서 콘텐츠 정보를 관리하고 이를 활용하여 서비스를 할 수 있는 사물 인터넷 통합 시스템이 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 콘텐츠 정보를 관리할 수 있는 사물 인터넷 시스템을 제안하고 구체적인 콘텐츠의 저장 방법과 이후 사용 방법에 대해 기술한다.

  • 본 논문은 사용자의 각종 멀티미디어 콘텐츠 소비 히스토리를 수집하여 체계화 및 패턴 분석을 수행하고, 이를 바탕으로 사용자가 선호할 것으로 예측되는 멀티미디어 콘텐츠들을 추출하여 제공하는 콘텐츠 추천 시스템에 관한 연구이다. 본 논문에서는 콘텐츠 소비와 연관된 사용자 로그와 엔진에서 자동 추출한 사용자 그룹을 통하여 콘텐츠 추천을 수행한다. 각 사용자들의 선호정보 데이터를 분석하여 선호정보 패턴이 유사한 사용자들을 사용자 그룹으로 정의하고, 각 사용자들이 속한 사용자 그룹의 사용자 로그를 활용하여 사용자별 선호 콘텐츠를 예측한다. 본 시스템은 웹 또는 모바일 환경에서 음악, 방송, 광고, 기사 등의 방대하고 다양한 콘텐츠를 복합적으로 사용자들에게 선별하여 제공해 주며, 이들의 연관성과 사용자의 콘텐츠 선호패턴을 반영한 개인 맞춤형 콘텐츠 추천 엔진은 사용자가 선호할만한 콘텐츠들을 추천하여 사용자의 콘텐츠 소비 시의 만족도를 높여줄 수 있다.

Exploration of the Emotion for Daily Conversation on Facebook (페이스북 일상담화의 감정 탐색)

  • The purpose of this study is to explore the emotions of Facebook. Various types of emotions are being exchanged on Facebook. The emotional reactions make the Facebook different from previous electronic bulletin board. According to previous researches, computer-mediated communication can deliver visual symbols and non-verbal cues to enhance the abundance of meanings. Data were collected from 205 Facebook users and the number of users' posts were total 10308. The contents analysis was conducted to explore emotions of the 10308 Facebook posts. The results showed that the most frequent emotion was pleasure. The emotional distributions were different according to the contents types; text, video, photo, and link. For the text content type, emotion of curiosity was apparent and for the photo content type, emotion of love was more frequent than others, and for the video content type, emotion of surprise was salient. The results of the analysis for the shared contents also revealed that pleasure and hope were more frequent emotions than other emotions.

  • This paper proposes a new method for tracking image contents, which are re-distributed on the Internet using a web-robot and fingerprinting scheme. The fingerprinting is an extended technique of watermarking and embeds identity of the customer into the content as a fingerprint in a way that is very difficult to erase. The fingerprint in the content can be used widely in the field of the copyright protection technique because it identifies the content itself and includes the information about the original customer. In this paper we discuss an active image tracking system using a web-robot and fingerprinting scheme. In the proposed system the information of the original customer is embedded as a fingerprint into the image content before distribution and also stored into DB. The distributed contents are collected by the web-robot and fingerprinting information is extracted from the contents. Finally the identifying of contents is done by comparing the extracted fingerprint with the selling history of the content.

  • This paper describes main characteristics of Grid Services based on OGSA and a service component for aggregating service data element. In order to build a Grid Service for SOA, it needs to consider a systematic approach from the high-level software architecture of a system that describes the main system components and their interactions. The purpose of this paper is to design and implement an extended service data aggregator service. To provide reliable aggregating service for service data elements, which is running under wide area environment like Internet, the aggregator service is operated asynchronously by notification mechanism.

  • In this study, we investigated the signal intensity changes by activating all and partially selected coil elements as a way to increase the SNR in a single region MR imaging. Two cylindrical fluid phantoms were placed side by side in a phase array coil and MRI scans were repeated by turning on the entire elements and selected elements. As a result, on both of the T1 and T2 weighted images signal intensities were significantly increased by 5.49% and 14.64%, respectively. In conclusion, if only a single region was to be imaged, selecting appropriate elements and collecting signals only from them could easily improve image qualities and signal intensities.

  • Most of electronic medical record systems which have been built in Korean hospitals are based on source oriented medical record approach. These systems hardly satisfy diverse objectives owing to the innate imperfections in system architecture and development methodology. Thus, the hybrid of source oriented and problem oriented approach is highly desirable. The purpose of this study is to present an architecture and methodology required to construct hybrid electronic medical record system and to develop a prototype based on them. Analyzing the clinical processes and data requirements of problem oriented medical record approach we developed a software process model as weel as an architecture model which consists of legacy system, clinical data repository, problem list database, prospective plan database, user interface, and synchronization procedures.

  • A vast amount of the national college entrance information and a broad range of contents make it more difficult for user to find, collect and compare the data. In this study, we find out how users work to collect, compare data through the usability test and take cognizance of difficulty and requirements on national college entrance information web-site. And then we give the planning for designing national college entrance information web-site through a personalized information architecture(PIA) system. Namely, this paper provides a guideline for designing a user-centric personalized information architecture(PIA) system through the usability test.

  • Identifying and searching for characters appearing in scenes during multimedia video editing is an arduous and time-consuming process. Applying artificial intelligence to labor-intensive media editing tasks can greatly reduce media production time, improving the creative process efficiency. In this paper, a method is proposed which combines existing artificial intelligence based techniques to automate character recognition and search tasks for video editing. Object detection, face detection, and pose estimation are used for character localization and face recognition and color space analysis are used to extract unique representation information.
