  • The aim of this study is to explore the paradigm shifts in culture and system related to life in terms of AI and the present point of view in which creating human values together are important. An approach that focuses on how AI-related phenomena work in modern society forms the basis of this research. Therefore, to clarify the meaning of "AI phenomenon" converging it as a part of social culture, this study was intended to find out the value incorporated in the social system such as ethics and equality together with the literature review. Inferring the technical culture that are combined with the AI that the members of society can do together is as important as technical understanding in the functional aspect. Therefore, this study was intended to suggest new culture that the cultural imagination and the social system create harmonizing each other, that is, the possibility of "AI culture". So, this article has a characteristic of a preliminary study, too.

A Study on the Effectiveness of EPL Utilizing Programming Education based on Problem Based Learning (PBL) for Non-SW Major (비SW전공자 대상 문제중심학습(PBL) 기반의 EPL 활용 프로그래밍 교육의 효과성 연구)

  • Since the problem-based learning (PBL) shows the effectiveness of self-directed learning ability and internalization of learning motivation in the process of solving real problems, studies on PBL and application cases are actively pursued in the university education. This study analyzed the effects of PBL on the academic achievement and computational thinking in a non-SW major students' programming course. The programing course was divided into the PBL class and non-PBL class, and at the end of the classes, the scores of the exams and the results of questionnaires about the educational effectiveness and computational thinking were analyzed. As a result, the students in the PBL class, compared to those in the non-PBL class, showed significantly higher scores in the areas of the algorithm implementing skill, self-directed learning, problem solving ability, and continuous learning motivation.

A Study on the Instructional Model utilizing Scratch for Introductory Programming Classes of SW-Major Students (SW전공자 프로그래밍 입문 수업의 스크래치 활용 수업 모형 연구)

  • The programming language is a core education area of software that is becoming increasingly important in the age of the fourth industrial revolution, but it requires mathematical knowledge and logical thinking skills, so that many local private university and college students with low basic skills are having difficulties learning it. This problem occasionally causes SW-major students to lose interest and confidence in their majors during the introductory course of programming languages; making them change their majors, or give up their studies. In this study, we designed an instructional model using Scratch for educating C-language which is a typical programming introductory language. To do this, we analyzed the concepts that can be trained by Scratch among the programming concepts supported by C-language, and developed the examples of Scratch for exercising the concepts. In addition, we designed an instructional model, by which the programming concepts are first learned through Scratch and then C-language is taught, and conducted an experiment on the SW-major freshman students of a local private university to verify the effectiveness of the model. In the situation where SW education is becoming common, we expect that this study will help programming language education of security IT students.

  • Developing countries, including Africa, are experiencing very little human resources development due to the deprivation of equal educational opportunities, poor educational conditions, and the gap in information technology with developed countries. Developing countries that do not have excellent human resources are lagging behind in globalization competition with developed countries, and the problem of 'human resource development' in developing countries can not be avoided. In developing countries, education budgets are too low to meet education needs and compulsory education, and therefore they are not adequately responding to the increasing demand for education. The lack of education budget is due to the lack of education infrastructure. In this study, the NAS based server is configured to configure functions such as educational content and learning management, and the client area is presented with solutions for various media such as tablet, PC, and beam projector. And to support optimized e-learning services in developing countries by constructing a SCORM-based platform.

  • 최근 지식정보 사회는 IT가 핵심 구성요소인 스마트 사회로 변모하고 있으며, 인간과 사물 간 의사소통에서 사물과 사물 간 의사소통까지 확장하고, IT간 융합에서 나아가 타 산업과 융합하는 지능형 사회로 나아가고 있다. '공간'에 대한 정보는 '시간'과 함께 인간이 생활하는데 있어 반드시 알아야 하는 가장 근본적인 정보로써, 공간에서 발생하는 정보를 기반으로 다른 사람들과 소통을 하고 목적을 충족함으로써 삶의 질을 향상시킨다. 현대 사회에서 공간정보는 중요한 인프라 가치를 증대시키므로 새로운 사회 패러다임 전환을 위한 필수적인 요소라 할 수 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 수재해 정보 플랫폼 구현에 앞서 사용자의 니즈를 만족시키고 효용가치 증대가 가능하도록 공간정보서비스 활용 방안 연구를 하고자 한다. 공간정보는 시대의 흐름에 따라 형태 및 생산?활용방법이 달라졌으나 항상 중요한 정보로 인식되어 왔으며, 미래 공간정보는 단순 콘텐츠 영역을 뛰어넘어 상황(Context)정보까지 범위를 확장하였다. (1)미국의 공간정보는 시설, 기록관리 및 지도와 같은 공공분야에서 현재는 업무통합관리, 의사결정지원 등에서 데이터 웨어하우스(Data Warehouse)로서의 역할 담당한다. (2)일본은 아시아 최고의 원천기술력을 보유하고 있으며, 높은 수준의 GIS, RS(위성항측), ITS(지능형 교통 시스템) 기술을 기반으로 하고 있다. (3)영국은 지리정보시스템과 공공서비스를 접목하여 시민의 요구에 부응하는 고객맞춤형서비스 제공을 국가정보화의 우선과제로 선정하고 있다. (4)우리나라는 초고속통신망과 모바일 기술 등 세계 최고 수준의 인프라를 확보하고 있어, 이러한 인프라 기반융 복합 공간정보서비스를 이용하는데 안정적인 기반을 확보하고 있다. 본 연구는 국내외 공간정보서비스의 패러다임 변화 및 추진 동향 등을 제시하였으며, 수재해정보 플랫폼 활용에 능동적 적극적으로 접근할 수 있는 기반을 마련하였다. 공간정보서비스를 활용하여 커뮤니케이션 강화, 수재해 정보 서비스의 효율성 증진, 재해부문 선진화 측면에서 발전적 영향을 미칠 수 있으며, 특히 각종 현안에 대한 미래 예측 및 대응에 기여할 것으로 판단된다.

Augmented Reality-based Surgical Nursing Practice Application Development and Evaluation (증강현실 기반의 수술간호 실습교육 애플리케이션 개발 및 평가)

  • The purpose of this research was to develop an augmented reality-based surgical nursing practice education application. The research proceeded in ADDIE order of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation stages. In the analysis phase, we analyzed the surgical nursing learning needs of the expert group and nursing student group. As a result of the analysis, the demand for surgical instruments was generally high. We selected 51 surgical instruments of the 7 categories most frequently used in the operating room based on the needs, and produced them as AR Book. The augmented reality application was created based on the Unity 3D engine, and the application was built with Android OS so that the target person could use it. Expert assessment of application for augmented reality-based surgical nursing practice education application showed 73.4±4.3 out of 80. This study is significant in the part that first developed a new method of learning tools for surgical instruments. We determined that an augmented reality-based application has reality, portability, accessibility and simplicity.

  • As fears of infection with the Corona 19 virus increase, an untact mood is also blowing in the real estate market. Changes in life style are bringing about changes in the way of life and patterns of consumption. In the real estate marketing market, such changes are inevitable. In particular, marketing using a real estate model house has the characteristics of marketing that is closely related to the denseness that many people visit in an enclosed space. These characteristics include all three features (airtight, dense, close), characteristics mentioned in the COVID-19 prevention rules. Therefore, in this study, we will look at ways to reinforce model house customer marketing in line with the untact (non-face-to-face) trend and to avoid the above three features, characteristics in the model house customer marketing process, and show the implementation results to avoid features. Through this, we propose a safe and expandable real estate marketing strategy through the avoidance of the three features of corona 19.

A Study on the Narratives of Single Person Experience based on Visual Transference: Focusing on the Isolated Factors of COVID-19 (시각적 전이에 기초한 1인 경험 내러티브에 관한 연구: COVID-19의 고립 요인을 중심으로)

  • The purpose of the study was to further investigate the direction for one-person experience design based on visual shift due to the isolation one has experienced after the COVID-19 and the factors regarding it. The study involves eight female participants who are in their twenties via digital platform. The participants were instructed to choose digital image similar to COVID-19 and to write down facts based upon the image and the researcher will look into the result microscopically. The researchers found that the isolation factors include decreased face-to-face communication, reliance on social media, heavy usage of OTT platform, limited outdoor occasion and activity, limitation of untact technology and education program, fear over the pandemic and so on. The study has shown that the one-person experience design should be heading in a direction where it adopts space design that can crossover online and offline world, digital complex design to embody realness as well as the communication design to regain the relationships with others.

  • Realistic education using virtual reality compared to traditional learning can enhance students' understanding of knowledge through immersion and interaction. In previous studies, VR education is mainly focused on experiences, and it is difficult to find its applications for environmental education. Environmental issues are a global problem, and environmental education is essential for the future. In this research, we developed an immersive virtual reality-based environmental education simulation designed to help students recognize the importance of environmental education and participate in environmental-friendly actions. This simulation is based on the virtual ecosystem model, which maintains a casual relationship among environmental factors, spatio-temporal connection, and persistent state. Users intuitively recognize environmental problems and is motivated to solve the problem while experiencing the results of interaction related to environmental factors in virtual environment.

  • Virtual reality is actively applied in the fields of games, entertainment, communication, sports, and architecture. In particular, many virtual reality-based education systems are being developed in the field of education, creating efficient learning effects. In addition, virtual reality-based education is used in areas such as maintenance, fighter control, medical care, and firefighting as it can maximize the educational effect through the mastery process of the function itself through the curriculum as well as indirect experiences of dangerous situations that are difficult to experience. However, due to technical limitations, lack of contents, and lack of theoretical research, the level of application of military education and training is still insufficient. This paper aim to contribute to the development of a virtual reality-based education system as a military training system by developing a high-quality drop training system applicable to military group descent training, studying key technologies and implementation methods necessary for development.
