The compressive strength of horizontal joints in precast concrete large panel structures depends on parameters such as grout and panel strength, detail of joint, joint moment, width of grout column, and etc. 44 specimens were tested to investigate the effects of parameters that influence the compressive strength of horizontal joints. The design formula specified in Korean Cock for compression horizontal joints must be reviewed, because it was based on the test results of the joint types not used in Korea. In this study comparing the test results, there fore, the validity of the design formulas was evaluated and a suitable formula was proposed to predict the ultimate strengths of compression horizontal joints. The increase of ultimate strengths was not observed, even if confined the horizontal displacement of slabs and reinforced the wall edge, when the grout strength is lower than panel strength. From the comparison of test results and those by the proposed formula, it was shown that proposed formula was suitable to predict the ultimate compressive strength of horizontal joints.
New building methods are needed to aid increased inner-city redevelopment and industrial construction. A particular area of improvement is the efficient use of cut slopes, with the minimization of associated problems. A retaining wall of precast panels can resist the horizontal earth pressure by increasing the shear strength of the ground and reinforcing it through contact with the panels. Precast panels allow quick construction and avoid the problem of concrete deterioration. Other problems to be solved include the digging of borrow pits, the disposal of material cut from the slope, and degradation of the landscape caused by the exposed concrete retaining wall. This study suggest the methods of improvement of an existing precast panel wall system by changing the appearance of the panels to that of natural rock and improving the process of adhering the panel to a vertical slope. The panels were tested in the laboratory and in the field. The laboratory test verified their specific strength and behavior, and the field test assessed the panels' ground adherence at a vertical cutting. Reinforcement of the cutting slope was also measured and compared with the results of 3D numerical analysis. The results of laboratory test, identified that the shear bar increase the punching resistance of panel. And as a results of test construction, identified the construct ability and field applicability of the panel wall system adhered to in-situ ground. In addition to that, extended measurement and numerical analysis, identified the long-term stability of panel wall system adhered to in-situ ground.
Two series of experiments on the performance of beam-column joints in High-Strength Reinforced concrete frames were carried out. Main experimental parameters were : concrete strength, column axial load and amount of joint hoop reinforcement. Test result showed that the ultimate shear strength of exterior joints increased of column axial compressive force and the amount of the joint hoop reinforcements. Through the regression analysis on the 24data, the following equation is obtained $jv_u=(2.935{\times}10-3\;{\rho}jw{\cdot}fy\;+\;0.365){\sqrt{f_{ck}}}$

Nowadays shear wall structural system is gradually changing to framed structure. For this reason, lightweight panel is increasingly being used as separating walls. One of design methods to obtain high transmission loss is double panel. To predict the acoustic performance of double panel, prediction of transmission loss of single panel must be performed, previously. In this study, the predicted values for four single panels were compared with the measured values. The result shows the arithmetical average deviations(100Hz to 3150Hz) between the predicted and measured transmission loss were in range between 1.1dB and 3.9dB. The predicted values were generally lower than measured values above critical frequency. The single-number quantities, $R_W+C$, were predicted in range between 36dB to 38dB, and the differences of single-number quantities between the predicted and measured value were within 1dB.
This paper proposes a stabilizing method against landslide using slide suppressor wall reinforced with soil nails. Included are a procedure to predict earth pressures acting on the concrete panel and a method of analysis of stabilizing pile. Based on the proposed procedure, the efficient installation type and inclusion angle of nails are analyzed. Also, optimum location of the slide suppressor wall composed of concrete panel and stabilizing pile is analyzed. Finally the comparison with a method proposed by Wright is made, and the effect of interactions between stabilizing piles is examined, throughout the design example.

This study investigates the effectiveness of Building Information Modeling(BIM) software, specifically SketchUp and Revit, in reducing errors during quantity take-off(QTO) for complex building elements. While 3D modeling offers advantages, existing software may not fully account for manufacturing discrepancies, such as variations in concrete cover thickness and reinforcing bar radius. To address this limitation, this research proposes a BIM-based QTO method for high-insulation wall panels with intricate details. The method utilizes a BIM family library, focusing on key parameters like concrete cover thickness and inner radius of shear reinforcement. A case study compared the cross-sectional details of a wall panel modeled in Revit with the actual manufactured specimen. The analysis revealed a 12% reduction in modeled concrete cover thickness and a 1.27 times larger modeled inner radius of the shear bar compared to the real-world values. The proposed method incorporates these manufacturing variations into the Revit model of the high-insulation wall panel. Software like Navisworks facilitates the identification and correction of any material interferences arising from these adjustments. Furthermore, the method employs a unit wall concept(1m2) to account for the volume of various materials, including insulation and splice sleeves at joints. This allows for the identification of a similar existing family within the BIM library(e.g., "Double RC wall with embedded insulation") that reflects the actual material quantities used in the wall panel. By incorporating these manufacturing-induced variations, the proposed method offers a more accurate QTO process for complex high-insulation wall panels. The "Double RC wall with embedded insulation" family within the Revit program serves as a valuable tool for material quantity estimation in such scenarios.

Through the test of concrete panel, we evaluate quantitatively the blast resistance performance of concrete structure. In this blast test, eight different panels were tested and the main variables are concrete strength(200 MPa, 24 MPa) and retrofitting materials(CFRP, PolyUrea, BFRP).

Included are a Evuedlwe to predict earth Uessures acing on nailed-slide suppressor wall and a method of analysis of the laterally loaded concrete pile. Based rut the Voposed Vocedure, the emcignt installation type and inclusion angle of nails are analyzed. Also, optimum location of the slide suppressor wall composed of concrete panel and stabilizing pile is examined using the UC Vogram. Finally, an example is given to illustrate the analysis and desisa procedure of the proposed slope reinforcing method.

This paper summarizes experimental results for studying feasibility and structural behavior of' a half slab which is getting popularity in recent building construction in favour of the savings in manpower, coats, and construction period. 17 specimens were tested to investigate and analyze the flexural strength of precast concrete slab, half slab, and half slab-wall joint. The primary variables of the testing program were: thickness of precast concrete slab, truss mesh shape, and type of loadings. Test results show that the flexural strength of precast concrete slab in reverse loading is lower than the design strength, but the flexural strength of precast concrete slab, half slab and half slab-wall joint in direct loading is higher than the design srength. No horizontal cracks were found in the connection between insitu concrete and precast concrete slab. The flexural strength of half slab and half slab-wall joint was the same as that of reinforced concrete members. This study concludes that there will not be any structural problem in using a half slab reinforced by truss mesh if props spacing of 2.0m-2.5m, cleanness, and rough finishing between precast concrete and insitu concrete slab are kept.

Recently, the method of the apartment building design has been changed from wall type structures to moment structures. With like this reason, dry walls we used plentifully. Especially, the gypsum board was used from previously plentifully however the weak point of it is difficult to maintain because it weak strength. For the improvement of gypsum board, light weight concrete panel using cement board is used recently. As this study is the research of the series t on the development of non-bearing light weight concrete panel using bottom ash, the purpose of this study is to obtain basic data for application in the field. The results are that the structure 1 satisfies domestic standard concerned with sound insulation between households at the laboratory and field test.
