Condor is a distributed batch system for sharing the workload among the computers connected by a network. Condor distributed system was developed on the basis that every machine in a Condor pool is always connected by a network to run a Condor Job. Due to advances in wireless communication and mobile computing technology, conventional distributed computer systems can now include “mobile” clients as well as “fixed” clients. Moreover, mobile users want to lower their power consumption by off-loading potentially power and resource consuming jobs. In this paper, we describe the design and implementation of mobile interface for mobile clients in Condor distributed batch system. The main purpose of this work is to enable users on mobile computers to interact with Condor environment any time anywhere regardless of their connection to a Condor pool. The mobile Condor distributed system also aims to provide mobile users the same Condor services without making any significant changes to the existing Condor system.

Traditionally intangible assets have been neglected in measuring management performance in the area of business. However as knowledge based times is coming, the importance of intangible assets have been evermore attentive then before. The purpose of the study is to explore the relationship between management performance and intangible assets of resort condominium in Korea. This paper categorizes intangible assets into customer relations asset, cooperative business partner asset, and service operations competence based asset and find relationship between these assets with management performance.

We studied sea water pollution by waste water of H condominium near the Bunam Lake in Seosan City. We simulated COD of discharged waste water, and other factors can be expected by proportional. The direction of sea flow is almost west, and there is no fish cultivation in the west area, so it is safe for fish cultivation. We assumed that there is no flow in the sea water, and simulated the divergence of water pollution. We concluded that, the fish cultivation will be free from danger of water pollution.

This paper studied condo selection attributes that affected satisfaction, recommendation and revisitation, in particular, investigated gender and age differences. Research target is the group who revisited time-sharing condominium within one year. The paper seeks to understand factors that affect and contribute to customer satisfaction and intentions for reuse. This study model was analyzed by the basic statistical analysis, factor analysis, reliability analysis and multiple analysis, using SPSS 18.0 and AMOS 18.0. We found that 5 condo selection attributes that have significant affect on user satisfaction: facility, service, product, accessibility and expense. Furthermore it was evident that user satisfaction has a significant effect on condo recommendation and intentions of reuse. With regard to sex, for male users expense, accessibility and service had a significant effect on their satisfaction level, while for female users, product was most important. User satisfaction both have a significant effect on recommendation and intentions of reuse but for females this was more evident. Regarding the age, for 20~30 age band, service and product factor had a significant effect on user satisfaction in order, whereas, for the age band of over 40s, expense, product and facility factors were important. User satisfaction of both have a significant effect on recommendation and intentions of reuse. In the meantime user satisfaction of 20~30 age band had a bigger positive significant effect on recommendation and intentions of reuse than the age band over 40s.

This paper is a review of the large-scale information retrieval system, CONDOR. This system was developed by the consortium that consists of Chonbuk National University, Searchline Co. and Carnegie Mellon University. This system is based on the probabilistic model of information retrieval systems. The multi-language query processing, online document summarization based on query and dynamic hierarchy clustering of this system make difference of other systems. We test this system with 30 million web documents successfully.

Korea has risen to one of the most newly industrialized countries boasting its consecutive successful economic growth. The economic growth brought the Korean people more money and free time. Koreans all want to spend more time on leisure activities and travels. In this "mass Tour Age", because of its diverse functions and excellent facilities, resort condominium has been got much more attention. Instead of analyzing whole condominium operations, we put more emphasis on the room reservation system for the efficiency of operation. The purpose of this study is to identify the problems of current condominium operations and to suggest innovative new solutions. To accomplish the purpose, we analyzed the current room reservation system of condominiums in Korea. After reviewing the current reservation system, we provide a couple of suggestions. In order to improve reservation process, future demands should be forecasted as accurately as possible, or be based on everything from sophisticated technological system. I wish this study can help innovate the current reservation problems of the resort condominium industry for continuous improvements of the industry.

마콘도 사고 후 미국을 필두로 해양 석유 시추 및 생산활동에 대한 규제가 대폭 강화되었으며, 선진국 위주로 안전기준의 준수를 통상의 규제수단으로 이용하고 있다. 향후 해양플랜트 분야 진출을 시도하는 기업은 HSE 분야에 대한 적극적인 대응이 필요하다. 주요 선진국의 Offshore 분야 HSE 규제 동향과 안전관리시스템의 구축 방안에 대해 제안하였다.

서울인쇄정보조합(이사장 조정석)은 지난 6월 12일부터 이틀간 강원도 설악한화콘도에서 '2009 경영자 세미나'를 개최했다. 이날 세미나에는 홍우동 대한인쇄문화협회 회장, 이충원 대한인쇄정보산업협동조합연합회 회장, 김진배 대한인쇄정보기술협회 회장 등 내빈과 400여명의 조합원이 참석해 성황을 이루었다. 한화콘도 별관 5층 크리스탈볼룸에서 열린 이번 세미나는 엄길청 경기대학교 교수(경제애널리스트), 김한권 울산대학교 교수(강릉아산병원 기획관리실장)를 초청해 "경제위기진단과 인쇄산업의 환경전망"이라는 주제와 "중년의 건강관리"라는 주제로 강연이 진행되었다. 조정석 이사장은 인사말을 통해 "우리 인쇄업계는 인쇄문화산업과 이에 관련된 분야에 대한 보다 다양하고 정확한 정보를 신속하게 받아들여 세계무대에 당당히 나설 수 있는 특성화된 기업으로의 변화가 절실하다"면서 "이제 경쟁력 없이는 더 이상 생존할 수 없다는 냉혹한 현실을 직시하고, 위기를 도약의 기회로 삼는 지혜를 발휘하자'고 역설했다. 다음은 엄길청 교수와 칠한권 교수의 강연 내용이다.
