  • This study was conducted to evaluate the association between knowledge of Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19), perception of infection control and practice of infection control among dental hygienists. The questionnaires consisted of 9 demographic questions, 10 questions about COVID-19 knowledge, and 36 questions about perception and practice of infection control. The study analyzed 120 participants' data gathered from May 1 to May 31, 2021. For data analysis, T-test, ANOVA, and Pearson correlation were used. As a result, COVID-19 knowledge was 6.59 out of 10, the perception of infection control was 3.57 out of 4 and the practice of infection control was 3.55 out of 4. The COVID-19 knowledge(r=0.485) and perception of infection control(r=0.614) were significantly positively related to practice of infection control. To improve the practice of infection control in the dental field, education of infection control should be mandatory for dental hygienists. Also, the practice of infection control following "Dental Infection Control Standard Policy & Procedure" must be mandatory.

  • The COVID-19 virus has generated major shockwaves in all spheres of human life since its outbreak. Maritime transport (both cargo and passenger) is one of the industries most heavily affected, yet over 80% of the world cargo is transported by sea. This study analyzes maritime port operational efficiencies before and after the start of the COVID-19 pandemic to determine whether the pandemic has caused major differences in the operational efficiencies of many leading Asian maritime container ports via data envelopment analysis (DEA). The results of both the CCR and BCC models reveal that overall, efficiency during the COVID-19 pandemic has been higher than before the pandemic despite a few inefficiencies. This implies that the pandemic has so far not has major consequences for the operational efficiency of maritime ports. However, two ports (Busan and Guangzhou) should adjust the scale sizes and technical capacities of their operations to improve performance.

  • As of late December 2019, the spread of COVID-19 pandemic began which put the entire world in panic. In order to overcome the crisis and minimize any subsequent damage, the government as well as its affiliated institutions must maximize effects of pre-existing policy support and introduce a holistic response plan that can reflect this changing situation- which is why it is crucial to analyze social topics and people's interests. This study investigates people's major thoughts, attitudes and topics surrounding COVID-19 pandemic through the use of social media and big data. In order to collect public opinion, this study segmented time period according to government countermeasures. All data were collected through NAVER blog from 31 December 2019 to 12 December 2020. This research applied TF-IDF keyword extraction and LDA topic modeling as text-mining techniques. As a result, eight major issues related to COVID-19 have been derived, and based on these keywords, this research presented policy strategies. The significance of this study is that it provides a baseline data for Korean government authorities in providing appropriate countermeasures that can satisfy needs of people in the midst of COVID-19 pandemic.

  • After COVID-19, with the emergence of social distancing, non-face-to-face services, and home economics, visiting dining out is rapidly being replaced by non-face-to-face dining out. The purpose of this study is to find ways to create a safe dining culture centered on living quarantine in line with the changing trend of the restaurant industry after the outbreak of COVID-19, establish the direction of food culture improvement projects, and enhance the effectiveness of the project. This study used TEXTOM to collect and refine search frequency, perform TF-IDF analysis, and Ucinet6 programs to implement visualization using NetDraw from January 1, 2018 to October 31, 2019 and December 31, 2021, and identified the network between nodes of key keywords. Finally, clustering between them was performed through Concor analysis. As a result of the study, if you check the frequency of searches before and after COVID-19, it can be seen that the COVID-19 pandemic greatly affects the changes in the restaurant industry.

  • ESG Investment is emerging as a trend and common sense in the financial market. ESG Investment is an investment method that simultaneously pursue social sustainability and investment returns from a long-term perspective by reflecting non-financial factors such as environment, society and governance in addition to corporate financial performance in investment decisions. This study checked how the characteristics of ESG investment have been changed after Covid-19. Afterwards, it was confirmed that Covid-19 actually acted as a negative factor in the securities market by applying VAR model. At the same time, it was demonstrated that ESG indices of the US and Korea outperformed their benchmark in terms of return and risk during the pandemic regime. The result of this study hints that the importance of ESG investment will be unchanged after Covid-19. At the same time, it suggests that managers should avoid passive ESG management and engage in strategic ESG management based on knowledge management.

  • This study looked at the World Martial Arts Mastership's 'non-face promotional media strategies and methods' after the Corona-19 fandom, and found out if they could be applied to other sports events. As a method of research, the promotional media strategy of martial arts mastership was divided into types and in-depth interviews with media agents were conducted. According to the study, hosting an online martial arts competition, building an untact convention platform, and a base education facility can be a successful contest with budget support. Martial arts branding, popularization and industrialization can be a new attempt if ideas and execution personnel are sufficient. If IT technology and Chungbuk martial arts infrastructure are combined, they will be able to pioneer a new model called 'non-face-to-face-to K-sports'.

  • As various state restrictions on individual freedom were imposed during the COVID-19 pandemic, concerns have been raised that excessive infringements on fundamental rights were indiscriminately permitted based on the public interest of preventing infectious diseases. Therefore, the question of how to set acceptable limits of liberty restrictions on individuals has emerged. However, since the phenomenon of infections spreading to the population is only predicted statistically, how to deal with the risk of the infected individual as a subject of legal analysis has become a problem. In the absence of a theoretical framework of legal analysis of risk, the risk of infected individuals during the pandemic was not analyzed strictly, and proportionality review of infection prevention measures was often only an abstract comparison of the importance of public interest and individual rights. Therefore, this research aims to conduct a theoretical review on how risk can be conceptualized legally in a public health crisis, and to develop a theoretical framework for proportionality review of the risk of liberty-limiting measures during a pandemic. Chapter 2 analyzes the legal philosophical concepts of risk, which are the basis for liberty restrictions during a public health crisis, and applies and extends them to the pandemic. Chapter 3 reviews previous studies related to liberty restriction measures in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic, and points out they have a limitation that specific criteria for the proportionality review of public health measures in the pandemic have not been presented. Accordingly, Chapter 3 specifies the methodological framework for proportionality review, referring to the theoretical discussion on risks in Chapter 2. Chapter 4 reviews the legitimacy of gathering restriction orders, applying the theoretical discussion in Chapter 2 and the criteria for proportionality review established in Chapter 3. In particular, Section 4 examines logic of proportionality review in judicial precedents over the ban on gathering restrictions implemented in the COVID-19 pandemic. In analyzing the precedents, the logic of proportionality review in each case is critically reviewed and reconstructed based on the theoretical framework presented in this research.

  • This study was performed to identify the factors affecting 'the organizational culture for infection control', 'the resource support', 'the knowledge about COVID-19', and 'the resilience' among hospital nurses on the performance of COVID-19 infection control. A total of 150 nurses, registered in Korea, participated in the current study. The data were collected through self-report questionnaires. From 27th July to 10th August, 2022, 147 questionnairesout of 150 were collected. In multiple regression analysis, 'the resource support', 'the knowledge about COVID-19' and 'the resilience' were analyzed as significant factors in performing of the infection control for COVID-19 (β = 0.68, p < .001, β = 0.12, p = .023 and β = 0.20, p = .005 respectively). For improving the nurses' performance of infection control against Coronavirus Disease 2019(COVID-19) during the pandemic, it is necessary to develop and evaluate the programs through the organizational support and strategies to improve individual knowledge.
