A Study on the Determination of 3-D Object's Position Based on Computer Vision Method (컴퓨터 비젼 방법을 이용한 3차원 물체 위치 결정에 관한 연구)

  • This study shows an alternative method for the determination of object's position, based on a computer vision method. This approach develops the vision system model to define the reciprocal relationship between the 3-D real space and 2-D image plane. The developed model involves the bilinear six-view parameters, which is estimated using the relationship between the camera space location and real coordinates of known position. Based on estimated parameters in independent cameras, the position of unknown object is accomplished using a sequential estimation scheme that permits data of unknown points in each of the 2-D image plane of cameras. This vision control methods the robust and reliable, which overcomes the difficulties of the conventional research such as precise calibration of the vision sensor, exact kinematic modeling of the robot, and correct knowledge of the relative positions and orientation of the robot and CCD camera. Finally, the developed vision control method is tested experimentally by performing determination of object position in the space using computer vision system. These results show the presented method is precise and compatible.

3-Dimensional Measurement of the Cylindrical Object Using Computer Vision (컴퓨터 비젼을 이용한 원기둥형 물체의 3차원 측정)

  • This paper presents a method to measure the position and orientation of a Cylindrical Object(unknown the eiameter and length) lying on a floor, using a camera. The two extreme cross section of the cylinder will be viewed as distorted ellipese or circular are, while its limb edge will be shown as two straight lines. The diameter of the cylinder is determined from the geometric properties of the two straight lines, which in turn provides information regarding the length of the cylinder. From the 3-dimensional measurement, the 3D coordinates of the center points of the two extreme cross sections are determined to give the position and orientation of the cylinder. This method is used for automated pick-and-place operations of cylinder, such as sheet coils, or drums in warehouses.

  • The range-based method is easy to get the 3D data in detail, but the image-based is not. In this paper. employing the magnifying lens. the new approach to get the 3D data in detail is suggested. The magnifying lens amplifies the disparity in stereo vision system and the amplification of disparity is to increase the resolution of the depth. We mathematically and experimentally verifies the fact to amplify the disparity and suggests the method to improve the original 3D data with the detail 3D data.

  • 영상이나 이미지로부터 3차원 정보를 복원해내기 위한 기술은 컴퓨터 비젼과 그래픽스 분야에서 많은 연구의 대상이 되어 왔다. 본 연구에서는 연속적으로 획득된 여러 장의 이미지로부터 특징점을 추출한 후 그 점들로부터 프로젝티브 복원을 하고 카메라 파라메터를 계산하여 유클리디언 공간으로 변환시켜 3차원 데이터를 계산하는 방법을 구현하였다. 계산된 3차원 데이터와 가장 적합한 폴리곤을 선택하고 텍스쳐 매핑을 하는 방법을 결합하여 사실적인 3차원 모델을 생성할 수 있었다.

  • Reconstructed 3D data from computer vision includes necessarily a noise or an error. When these data goes through a mesh process, the different 3D mesh data from original shape comes to make by a noise or an error. This paper proposed the method that smooths a noise effectively by noise analysis in reconstructed 3D data. Because the proposed method is smooths a noise using the area ratio of the mesh, the pre-processing of unusable mesh is necessary in 3D mesh data. This study detects a peak noise and Gaussian noise using the ratio of 3D volume and 2D area of mesh and smooths the noise with respect of its characteristics. The experimental results using synthetic and real data demonstrated the efficacy and performance of proposed algorithm.

  • 본 논문은 비디오 연속 영상에서 얼굴의 위치를 추적하는 알고리즘에 관하여 기술한다. 컴퓨터 비젼에서 대량의 비디오 연속 영상내 물체 추적은 실시간에 처리되는 빠른 알고리즘이 요구된다. 기존의 방법은 형태에 기반한 알고리즘으로 물체의 회전, 크기 변화, 겹침 등에 대한 문제에 민감하여 여러 가지 어려움이 발생한다. 그러나 칼라를 이용한 알고리즘은 이러한 문제에 대하여 둔감하여 훨씬 효과적이다. 본 논문은 칼라 3D 히스토그램을 이용한 Swain과 Ballard의 역 투사(backprojection) 방법을 적용하여 비디오 연속 영상에서 얼굴의 위치를 빠르고 정확히 추적하는 알고리즘을 제안한다.

  • In this paper, we propose a reversible watermarking scheme in the JPEG compression domain. The reversible watermarking is useful to authenticate the content without the quality loss because it preserves the original content when embed the watermark information. In the internet, for the purpose to save the storage space and improve the efficiency of communication, digital image is usually compressed by JPEG or GIF. Therefore, it is necessary to develop a reversible watermarking in the JPEG compression domain. When the watermark is embedded, the lossless compression was used and the original image is recovered during the watermark extracting process. The test results show that PSNRs are distributed from 38dB to 42dB and the payload is from 2.5Kbits to 3.4Kbits where the QF is 75. Where the QF of the Lena image is varied from 10 to 99, the PSNR is directly proportional to the QF and the payload is around $1.6{\sim}2.8Kbits$.

  • 3차원 물체표현은 컴퓨터 비젼 분야에서 중요한 역할을 차지하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 체적 표현법의 일종인 부품기반의 superquadric 모델을 통하여 3차원 기계 부품 물체를 표현하는 기법을 제안하였다. 이러한 부품기반의 superquadric 모델은 크기, 이동, 회전, 그리고 변형 등의 유한개의 계수들만을 가지고 다양한 3차원 체적소의 형상 표현이 가능하다는 장점이 있다. 따라서, superquadric 형상복구 과정을 통해서 이들 superquadric 계수들을 추출함으로써 3차원 단일 체적소 표현이 가능하다. 이때, 형상복구 과정의 입력은 3차원 거리 데이터로, 형상복구 과정은 3차원 nfcp를 이루는 각 체적소에 속하는 거리 데이터들을 입력으로하는 적합도 측정함수의 최소 자승법(LSM)에 의해 이루어진다. 이후에 3차원 물체 각 체적소에 해당하는 superquadric 계수들을 얻는다. 결과적으로 3차원 전체 물체에 해당하는 superquadric 모델은 이들 각 체적소에 해당하는 계수들의 집합으로 표현된다. 컴퓨터에서 합성한 합성영상과 실제 거리영상에 대한 실험을 통해 제안한 방법의 유용성을 입증하였다.

  • Recently, with the explosive development of computing power, various methods such as RNN and CNN have been proposed under the name of Deep Learning, which solve many problems of Computer Vision have. The Generative Adversarial Network, released in 2014, showed that the problem of computer vision can be sufficiently solved in unsupervised learning, and the generation domain can also be studied using learned generators. GAN is being developed in various forms in combination with various models. Machine learning has difficulty in collecting data. If it is too large, it is difficult to refine the effective data set by removing the noise. If it is too small, the small difference becomes too big noise, and learning is not easy. In this paper, we apply a deep CNN model for extracting facial region in image frame to GAN model as a preprocessing filter, and propose a method to produce composite images of various facial expressions by stably learning with limited collection data of two persons.
