In recent days, school violence has been rising as a significant social problem. The occurrence of school violence can be fueled by a wide range of social and environmental contexts, thus it is very difficult to come up with the ultimate solution. Community CPTED program is one of the more comprehensive set of efforts that has been developed to prevent crime in general, and the primary focus of the study is to investigate suitable components of CPTED to prevent school violence based on the physical conditions of communities as well as the perception of residents outside of school grounds, in the vicinity of schools. Three sets of analyses in series were employed in the research. First, Ward's minimum-variance cluster analysis was used to classify the places where school violence can occur outside of school grounds based on the physical conditions recognized by local residents. Next, Importance-Performance Analysis was performed to analyze the perception of local residents about the importance and the effectiveness of CPTED components in preventing school violence. Subsequently, Ordered Logit Model was used to analyze the local residents' awareness on safety regarding school violence in their community space. Combining the results of the analyses, the priority of the community CPTED applications to prevent school violence outside of school was derived. Reflecting the local residents' perception on safety of students in their community, the sense of security in communities against school violence can be reinforced by the communities' sensible efforts in creating safer environment for their students.

The purposes of this study were to understand mathematics teachers' difficulties under the context of community and to contribute to the research on professional development using a partnership between a high school and a university. I examined what struggles mathematics teachers had in building a learning community. I used data from a project in South East area in U.S.A. Three student teachers, three mentor teachers, and a university teacher participated in this study. Data sources included cluster meeting observations, interviews, and documents (such as open-ended surveys and e-mail responses). Data were analyzed using case study and narrative analysis methods. The results showed that the participants had power issues, issues about selecting topics to discuss, criticizing others, sharing goals, and managing time and the number of members.

The objective of this research examines the relationships among privacy concerns, self discrepancy, and sense of virtual communities. According to the relevant literature review, we considered information privacy concerns factor as information collection, control, and awareness of privacy practice, and sense of community factor as membership and immersion on virtual communities. This research surveyed for the online community user and employed hierarchical regression model for the moderating effect test. The results of empirical analysis turns out that awareness of privacy concerns practice has negative impact on the self discrepancy, on the other hand, information collection and control factors do not affect. The next finding is internet use duration has moderating effect on the self discrepancy with information control and awareness of privacy concerns practice. The last findings are self discrepancy affect on the community membership and does not affect on the community immersion. It could be a good guide line for the operational direction on virtual community.

This paper proposes authority delegation for secure social community creation and mutual authentication scheme between the community members using proxy signature in community-based ubiquitous networks. In community-based ubiquitous network, User's context-awareness information is collected and used to provide context-awareness network service and application service for someone who need it. For the many reason, i.e. study, game, information sharing, business and conference, social community could be created by members of a social group. However, in community-based ubiquitous network, this kind of the context-awareness information could be abused and created by a malicious nodes for attack the community. Also, forgery community could be built up to attack the community members. The proposed scheme using the proxy signature provides a mutual authentication and secure secret key exchange between community members, and supports secure authority delegation that can creates social community. Also, when delegation of signing authority and mutual authentication, this scheme reduces total computation time compared to the RSA signature scheme.

Social Q&A sites such as Yahoo! Answers and Naver Knowledge-iN have become a viable method for information seeking and sharing on the Web. Considering their immense popularity and growing concerns about their validity as information sources, questions about the credibility of the information provided on social Q&As are timely. Therefore, this paper summarizes recent research on credibility related to the social Q&A context, identifies research gaps, and presents a research agenda for future research to advance this newly developing area.

최근 1인 가상커뮤니티가 성숙화 단계에 들어서면서, 이에 대한 많은 연구들이 이루어지고 있다. 특히, 사이버 커뮤니티는 일반 사용자에게 고립감을 벗어나 사회적 관계(social network)를 맺을 수 있는 기능을 포괄적으로 확장시키고, 이용자들에게는 공동의 관심사와 관계 형성의 공간을 제공한다는 점에서 기존 오프라인 커뮤니티와 같은 역할을 한다고 할 수 있다. 더욱이 '카페' 나 '클럽' 중심의 키뮤니티에서 개인형 커뮤니티 추세로 급변하고 있는 최근에는 블로그 사용자가 급증함에 따라 다양한 초점에서 많은 연구가 필요하다. 이에 본 연구에서는 최근 새로운 미디어로 각광받고 있는 개인형 커뮤니티인 블로그 사용자를 새로운 정보기술의 사용자로 파악하여 기술수용모형(TAM)을 기본모형으로 하여 선행연구로부터 도출된 개인특성 변수들에 대하여 실증분석 한다. 본 연구의 학문적 시사점은 기술수용모델이 블로그 사용 환경에서도 적용 가능한지를 검증한 것이고, 기술수용모델 이외의 요소인 주관적 규범, 인지된 즐거움 그리고 자기 유능감이 블로그 서비스 사용에 미치는 영향력을 알아본 점에서 의의가 있다.

본 논문의 목적은 초등학생들의 커뮤니티 프로그램 사용 빈도가 인터넷 중독에 미치는 영향을 파악하는 것이다. 본 논문은 초등학교 5, 6학년 학생들을 대상으로 각종 커뮤니티 프로그램의 사용 빈도를 조사하고 그 결과에 따라 커뮤니티 프로그램 사용 빈도가 비교적 적은 집단과 사용 빈도가 많은 집단을 나누어 정보통신윤리 의식 및 인터넷 중독 진단에 많이 사용되는 K-척도를 활용하여 진단을 시행한 후 결과를 분석하였다. 연구 결과, 커뮤니티 프로그램 사용 빈도가 많을 수 록 인터넷 중독 위험성이 큰 것으로 나타났다. 또래집단과의 원활한 커뮤니케이션과 정보 공유 등에 좋은 영향을 미치는 커뮤니티 프로그램이지만 적지 않은 시간을 할애하고 집중함으로써 인터넷 중독의 위험에 빠질 수 있음을 알고 이에 대한 대책을 마련해야 할 것으로 판단된다.

최근 인터넷 기반의 웹 2.0의 시작으로 정보나 콘텐츠를 누구나 이용할 수 있는 인터넷환경이 제공되었다. 특히 소셜미디어를 통해 빠르게 공통관심사를 공유할 수 있는 커뮤니티를 구성하고 있으며, 온라인에서의 공동체는 개인의 정체성과 집단적 정체성을 교차하는 영역을 이루고 있다. 이러한 온라인 공동체에서 팬덤은 참여가 높고 사적 수준에서 결속력이 강한 공동체를 형성하는 집단이라고 할 수 있다. 본 연구는 이러한 문화 현상에서 유대관계가 강하게 형성된 '팬덤'이라는 이용자를 대상으로 이용동기 요인과 이에 따른 스타와의 상호작용을 통해 형성되는 커뮤니티의 충성도에 어떠한 영향을 미치는가를 알아보고자 한다. 커뮤니티 사례의 내용분석을 통해 팬덤의 일반화된 이용동기에 관해 살펴봄으로써 커뮤니티의 사용자 측면에서 시사점을 제시하고자 하였다.

This study proposes community based web service for contents providers and web designers to provide user-centered approach on Wordpress theme search and customizstion process. The contents and structure of theme information is analyzed and online communities on programming and Wordpress are studied to development of community based, theme contents service scenario. As a result, I launched 'Themettack' web service, I took beta testing with 20 users for 2 weeks, and found that theme template image and ideal theme contest services are the most satisfactory experiences. Various community contents which tested in this study and user participation data provided proper directions of Wordpress theme service as open source platform.
