This study has certified green school facility into a target of 10 cases, and obtain a certificate of our own sector application, and scoring rate of Green Building Certification Analyze problems is derived. The study in Green Building Certification by School Facilities through the plan is aimed at providing basic data for designers and associated personnel. This study of Eco-friendly School Buildings and subsequent certification review and evaluation based on the study improved through active to expect.

The purpose of this study was to examine the status of environmentally-friendly ingredients and dietitians' perceptions toward them in order to find for improvement. Data was collected from questionnaires completed by 202 school dietitians and nutrition teachers in Chungbuk, and this data was analyzed utilizing the SPSS 20.0 program. The results obtained from this study were as follows: 'mixed grains (58.9%)' and 'eggs (36.6%)' were found to be the most used environmentally-friendly ingredients. 81.7% of the respondents said they 'never used' marine products, whereas 'fruits (43.6%)', 'pork (40.8%)', and 'fish (54.5%)' were the most preferred ingredients. Dietitians and nutrition teachers used environmentally-friendly marine products less than other ingredients, had a poor understanding about environmentally-friendly marine products, and demonstrated low reliability and belief in the necessity of the system. In order to verify the environmentally-friendly status of the ingredients, marks on the product and documents of certification were mostly used. In order to improve the supply system, a more strict tracking system in the distribution process by securing more reliable suppliers is required.

The purpose of this study is to improve the quality of school meal and the satisfaction of students through dietitians' awareness and perception of environment-friendly agricultural products by providing the government, etc. with basic data on them. A survey was conducted on dietitians in the capital area to analyze the level of awareness about environment-friendly agricultural products, followed by a factor analysis, a correlation analysis and a multiple regression analysis. The results were as follows: Dietitians had a high level of knowledge about environment-friendly agricultural products, and there were significant differences with respect to age, work experience, the number of people provided with meals and the cost ratio of foods to agricultural products. The perception of environment-friendly agricultural products was found to have a significant influence upon the level of awareness about the certification system for good environment-friendly agricultural products. In conclusion, there is the need to make the dietitians who take charge of school meal have a higher level of perception about environment-friendly agricultural products, to improve the quality of school meal and the satisfaction of students remarkably and, by extension, to change school parents' perception about the use of environment-friendly agricultural products, which requires a further study to be carried out.

This study aims to understand the environmental impact reduction of green buildings that are certified by Green standard for energy and environmental design(G-SEED). To ensure this end, this study assessed and compared the environmental impacts(global warning, ozone layer depletion, acidification, and eutrophication) of a G-SEED-certified elementary school building(green building) and an uncertified elementary school building(traditional building) using the life cycle assessment methodology. This study considered the environmental impacts from the material manufacturing, material transportation, on-site construction, and operation during 40 years. The comparison of the environmental impact intensity of two buildings showed that the green building generated much more environmental impacts than the traditional building. For example, the global warming potential of the green building was approximately 12.5% higher than of the traditional building since the global warming potential of the green building was 3.751 $t-CO_2eq./m^2$ while that of the traditional building was 3.282 $t-CO_2eq./m^2$. It signifies that the G-SEED doesn't guarantee the reduction of the environmental impacts in terms of four impact categories. Therefore, the G-SEED should be complemented and improved to achieve the environmental impact reduction.

The superiority and safety of eco-friendly agricultural products are well-known. The purpose of this study is to provide fundamental data for creating a safe food culture, to improve the quality of school food services, and to increase student satisfaction with school food services. We compared the perception of eco-friendly agricultural products and food service satisfaction between students with and without exposure to a dedicated event for learning about eco-friendly products (an Eco-friendly Food Service Day) in elementary and middle school. When students were asked to define eco-friendly products, "organic products" was a highly frequent response in schools with an Eco-friendly Food Service Day, while "pesticide-free products" was a highly frequent response in school without this event. For most students, a factor in choosing eco-friendly products was a quality certification mark. Students from elementary schools with an Eco-friendly Food Service Day had a higher frequency of using eco-friendly agricultural products at home compared to students from schools without the event (p<0.01). In addition, the satisfaction with school food service was higher in schools with an Eco-friendly Food Service Day (p<0.05). These results suggest it is important to promote the use of superior and safe eco-friendly agricultural products while developing a variety of menus considering students' preferences.

With the increase in the demand for sustainable and environmentally-friendly development, Green Building Certification System came into force in 2002, Evaluation parts of Green Building Certification System are divided into land use and transportation, energy, ecological environment, and indoor environment. Alloted point for the part of energy is larger than other part, thus we can say that this part is very important to increase the green building performance. This study aims to analyze the present condition of design and construction for the part of energy in the certificated green school building. Total 40 certificated school buildings were selected and average scoring rate of each item was evaluated. Key particular to be considered were suggested to improve the item of energy consumption.
